Going through the interludes for Road to 7. Ivan's was my favorite, had some real laugh out loud moments.

I was a bit surprised Anastasia's interlude went so all in on the romance vibes but it came off as sincere so I was mostly fine with it. Atalanta's felt a little weak to me but overall made up for it due to the dialogue between her and Sheba.

Class: Berserker

Reason: Tbh his strong sense of right and wrong and his ability to barrel through anything keeping him from being a hero has gotta be SOME type of Madness Enhancement.

Also his title as a human wreckingball. and that all the hottest men are berseker classes

Barnaby Brooks Jr.

Class: Saber

Reason: I WAS thinking Lancer because of his kick, but honestly he could work as a Saberface. Also a lot of Sabers have that ‘thing’ with a fated journey and internal struggle-but-noble-in-heart going on, so it clicks better for me.

Nathan Seymor

Class: Rider

Reason: Initially I imagined them as a Caster, but with the car being a key part of their gimmick and aesthetic as a hero, I think Rider would be the better fit for them.

Keith Goodman

Class: Archer

Reason: Initially I thought Rider, since his schtick is flying, so while it's not a 'vehicle' persay I think it still can apply to him. However, a friend of mine pointed out that Archer could work for him better since his attacks are very ranged-based.

Antonio Lopez

Class: Berserker

Reason: Tbh I can't think of him in any other class. With him literally being a walking tank and all.

Pao Lin Huang

Class: Lancer

Reason: Not just because she fights with a staff, but because I think the Lancer Gang would adore her instantly.

Reason: ...I feel like I shouldn't need to explain this, but to any non-Tiger & Bunny fans; his power is shapeshifting.

Class: Archer

Reason: I thought Caster but I think it would be so much neater if we let her be an Archer.

Class: Avenger

Reason: f*cking look at him.

As if his aesthetics didn't scream it enough, his tragic backstory and morally grey motivations absolutely will.

Reason: Okay so I actually have a good reason for this. Since his power is memory erasure and implanting, I thought it would be cool to think of him as 'pretending' to be something he isn't to the target.

Reason: Because I am a horrible human being.

Class: Caster

Reason: This one was tough, but ultimately Caster is the best class I can come up with for someone with copycat powers.

Reason: His powers are also very ranged-based, but also because of how teetering on the line of 'Gilgamesh-face' he is.

Favorite thing: He does so much with so little. He technically has the least screentime of any lostbelt king by a huge margin yet he's easily the one who leaves the biggest impact, both literally and metaphorically

Least favorite thing: He's the one with the least screentime -_-

Favorite line: Again, all of them. And I'm not just saying that because if we're being real there's a 50% chance my actual fav is one i've written myself by this point

I love how much love FGO shows Antonio Salieri, like your average person either doesn’t know him, or only knows about him through all the awful rumors and fictional depictions (primarily Amadeus....) that paint him as envious and a mediocre composer, which is far from the truth, his music is beautiful and was well loved back when he was alive (he was even more popular than Mozart in Vienna)

They lean into the fact that Servants aren’t literally the historical person brought back to life as-is, but rather a manifestation of their legends to depict all the rumors surrounding him and warping him into a literal monster who doesn’t know who he is. All while making it very clear that no, he did NOT kill Mozart, and they more or less got along, and his profile is quite accurate too, bringing up his role as a teacher (which LB1 and his interlude also reference!) and the false image of him that people have starting with the rumors around 1820...

And he’s practically the highlight of LB1 too, like the Dies Irae scene is one of the most memorable, and he’s also the last Servant to disappear, while bringing music to the world... And they clearly put a lot of care into his animations, and even have some of his music in his attacks (the ones i know for sure are his buster and quick card are from his Dies Irae, extra card is piano concerto in c)

I ended up listening to his music after getting attached to his character in fgo, and now I’m legitimately a Salieri fan, he has so many good pieces, and I’d love to see one of his operas live one day!
