#ffxv glitches

When you haven't played FFXV in so long, load a save, and this happens

Chapter 1 only

Clear sea.

Chapter 1 the sea is clear and does not switch to blue until you arrive at Quay

Chapter 1 Insomnia lights. (this is not a glitch but still interesting)

The lights surrounding Insomnia are visible from inbounds as well.

I've been practising the Skywalking / Infinite Falling OOB glitch.

What's this glitch good for? It disables most collisions, including invisible barriers. Some hints on how to pull it off:

Use "Dash de Chocobo" after your chocobo has run a considerable distance away from the fight to give you more time to find your way to the nearest bench.

Don't move the camera or the chocobo will teleport straight to you!

When the Chocobo rounds the corner of the building, it takes 2-4 seconds for it to pick Noctis up. How long exactly depends on how many and what kind of cars are parked in between.

It's not necessary for Prompto to take a picture - If you've already sat down, you can still pull off the glitch. Just press X again to "get up".

What are the limits of this glitch? Afaik you can only gain height, but not lose it. Also, Noctis can only walk normally once you've found a surface at the same height as him. Otherwise, he'll be free falling and the only way to move is by entering and closing the photo mode quickly. Also, while free falling, menu options are disabled.

It's amazing how much of this shit I've put up with from Square over the years, really. Although occasionally I do hit a wall. Like: this is why I never finished Episode Ignis, and never did put myself through Episode Ardyn (sorry, Darin) back in the FFXV days.

The villains, again: hinky combat controls, and THE FUCKING CAMERA.

Fuck that camera in....well, whatever the equivalent it has of an ear.

(Also, I skipped 16. DId I mention I skipped 16? Mostly it was because the vibes were overwhelming me with "we're taking ourselves way too seriously (and really really really want to be Game of Thrones)," which is not what I wanted out of a game series that otherwise provides such features as giant rideable chickens.)

...ah, Squeenix. My patience, it is tried. And yet here I am, again. Guess I only have myself to blame at this point.

Feeling disheartened about the combat in the FF7 Rebirth demo. I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with it, considering I played the entirety of the first game and he DLC, but somehow, nothing makes sense, and I'm fighting the camera far more than I'm fighting the enemies. It keeps swerving around so much I've got a splitting headache and I'm feeling nauseated, and that's happening even while I'm trying to lock onto enemies and stay focused. The constant knockbacks even though I'm fucking dodging aren't helping, either, and it's hard to figure out what I'm doing wrong when there's two creatures rushing me at once, so there's no time to really break it down.

All right, I'm old, but Jesus. I've never missed turn-based combat so much in my life.

Any tips?

(I mean, apart from easy mode, which works but is making me feel like a dumbass.)

The REAL Red Sky in FFXV

During the battle with Leviathan, advance the time of day to 19:00

This is the true red sky as intended.

I assume PC users can use cheat engine or a mod to change the time of day to 19:00

In the video and link below you will find out how to achieve this using glitches to get oob and the royal vessel to advance time.
