8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom? well, i was SUPER into the vampire chronicles as a young teen but i basically read iwtv -> TVA -> blood & gold and then stopped, cos i was mostly HUGELY into Armand and then Marius, and less bothered about the rest. then when iwtv (tv) came out, i was HUGELY into it, but i wasn't back on tumblr back then so i just kinda squeed in my own head? so when i found out s2 was airing (i'd missed like 3 eps i think??) i just finally got into the fandom proper! and having Armand there now just gave me all the impetus i needed to start making things heh. god i love him so much... needless to say young teen me HATED the casting choice from the original film LOL

FFXIV x FFXVI

So, I did the crossover event yesterday with Yorina (will play it with as much characters as possible because every character should have a Mini-Torgal 😊)

However... I am not entirely sure if the event itself is good or not. Storytelling wise. I played FFXVI and I know what the stuff with Clive is all about. Not sure how people who couldn't play it yet and still want to, feel about the "spoilers" in the crossover event. Maybe it isn't as "bad' as I feel it is, but I have the feeling the FFXV-crossover event was more vague here with what it tells about FFXV but maybe I just don't recall it correctly (also possible)

Anyway, was to tired yesterday evening but I totally have to take some obligatory "Your WoL in Clive's attire"-screenshots because Yori looks quite nice in it I'd say ^^

Edit: and the combat instance was good. The fight was fun - for a lvl 50 synced fight. Most jobs aren't fun to play / feel boring at lvl 50 (in my opinion) but the implemented "FFXVI - mechanics" compensated that in a refreshing way.

Lastest on the ffxv replay-

-Finally did the ffxiv crossover. The outfits you get as a reward are fantastic. All the thigh highs. I’m dying XDDD. WHY IS NOCTIS THE ONLY ONE TO GET CAT EARS?! GIVE ME KITTY GLADIO AND PROMPTO AND IGGY.

-Ignis’ vicious streak making another appearance. Like, he is hands down willing to torture Caligo for information, holy crap. “Bones bend more easily” indeed.

-The Marks from the various astrals (and one messenger) are described as ‘proof of x’s favor.’ So are they like a medallion or token? Or more a physical mark? (Ngl, I really like the idea of physical marks that are... just this side of unsettling. You see them, and part of you KNOWS those marks were not made by mortal hands.)

-Tomb of the Tall. The one that gets broken into? I didn’t think about it the first time around, but... why would daemons break into the tomb and steal a sword? You’d think they wouldn’t look twice at the tomb - it’s just a hunk of stone unless you know what it is. So either a) the daemons sensed the magical power of the sword and were drawn to it, b) the daemons in question were once people who knew the significance of the tomb and retained just enough of that knowledge to act, or c) the daemons in question were sentient and intelligent enough to steal a powerful weapon. All three of those options have frankly disturbing implications and the last one is downright terrifying.
