Got the M2S reclear with my static (minus our MCH and plus a subtitute) in only 28 minutes today. What the heck! This took us a couple hours just last week! I didn't even use any potions because I thought we were still warming up and so I was waiting to get to the enrage once!

Any melee dps looking for a static? My group's 6/8, looking for ideally two melee dps for next tier. We're a midcore group, not too serious but not too unserious iykwim, and we meet Thursday and Saturday at 4-8PM EST! So in the midst of me getting backgrounds set up for my aura, I decided I wanted her to be separate from Vaeri, my OG miqo who is much more of an extension of me personally. So here is my official induction of Vaeri Sunder! (More background to come)

Vaeri is a healer through and through! White Mage is her role of choice; however, she is desperately trying to learn how to use her nouliths to provide better shields for the parties she meets in her travels!

the chaotic raid is really fuckin' fun, y'all.

progging in pf was a pain because it takes forever to fill the parties and people get impatient and drop out; then you get in, pull twice, wipe twice without reaching the prog point, and people get salty and drop out; and at least on aether there are multiple pf listings that are just using the description to take potshots at strats they don't like.

but man when you get a good group. the flow of the fight is really fun.

also, E9S (the Eden version of Cloud of Darkness) was the first savage raid I did with my static, so it was neat to see how many mechanics return from that. :V

anyway yeah. very good fight. definitely going back in for more. i need that mount. (ellie...doesn't really look that good with the hair, unfortunately.

Wanted to post this earlier, but I finally got the M2S clear earlier. Who knew all it would take was forming a static to avoid dealing with the inconsistency of Party Finder :V

My static cleared the first savage tier of Dawntrail!!! Super stoked! Cleared it on tier as well, before the second tier dropped. It's also my first savage tier ever!

Raiding Pandaemonium

Going through all my old screenshots from Endwalker makes it really hit home how long of a journey this was. My first - and very probably last - entire savage, all 12 floors! I did scholar this time around and while I'm not pulling any impressive coloured parse numbers I enjoyed it very much.

To be honest the hardest boss was the schedule/roster changes, which put us way far behind on downing Athena and Hephaestus both.

Now that it is over, and I am glad to be off Athena's wild ride, it is bittersweet. There are things going on in my life that mean I will very probably not be raiding savage in Dawntrail, but as cliche as this is, I will always cherish the friends I made along the way.

Hephaestus and Athena both caused us some trouble, and caloric sucks. I feel like I hated doing the 10th floor but will look back on it fondly, and P3S was probably my favourite fight of the lot, if you ignore the eye assaulting ORANGE. I fought Athena who knows how many times and I will still not get sick of her first phase track (I definitely know all the words at this point).

Now I have my axolotl and it is cute and it makes little squeak noises and it is good for flying around near the beach, and I am looking forward to a relaxing painting adventure in a few months.
