When he's tired and comes home, he likes to just lay next to you and rest his body weight on you. He teases you slightly if you're unable to hold him up due to his body weight, but he makes it so he doesn't crush you.

Tells you about different missions and stuff he has with Avalanche, but keeps a lot of the details under wraps. He doesn't want to worry you too much if a mission could really go sideways.

Biggs does like to do little acts of service for you. You could be dead tired and he'd tuck you into bed then go to cleaning your house, trying to be quiet as he sweeps or does the dishes.

Reeve

He's pretty good with being emotional support or an anchor for his S/O. He's good at listening and he's rather attentive to your troubles. Does his best to give comfort and encouragement when needed.

Lot's of spontaneity from him. You could be getting ready for bed when he suddenly shows up, knocking on your window, and telling you to get dressed cause he wants to take you out. You never know when he'll be ready to suggest some random date idea.

Honestly, Roche doesn't care about who sees you and him together. He'll gladly just pick you up and throw you over his shoulder, stating that he's going on a date with his S/O while flipping up any Shinra that are supposed to go on a mission with Roche instead.

“Good…” She hissed leaning forward and pressing her lips to his.

Roche’s eyes widen a little before he responded in kind, kissing with strong passion. His lips parted hers and their tongues begin to fight and dance. His had cupped the back of her neck, pulling her in closer to him. Her fingers locked into his long hair. The kissing became stronger, hotter. She pressed him closer to the wall, body pressing against his as much as possible given the height difference. She could feel every muscle of his. He kissed down Sephira’s neck as his hands wondered around her breasts.

The door opened “Oh… Sorry!” A familiar voice echoed across the room.

Sephira and Roche stopped, slowly turning their heads spotting their pink haired Turk friend Kesta. She slowly turned back retreated out the room, “I’ll come back later then…”

Sephira pressed her forehead against Roches and they laughed a little before continuing their kissing.

Vincent Valentine

 ·           Vincent met you by chance, whilst you were waiting for a bus. You’d dropped your ticket and was struggling to find it. He picked it off the floor and handed it to you.

·           For a while you both stood and talked whilst you were waiting. He didn’t want to leave you on your own just in case you got into difficulties again, he used this as an excuse as he just wanted to get to know you better

·           Vincent is fairly aware of how independent you can be and so he won’t fuss over your blindness.

·           He’ll also not automatically assume help, having learnt early in the relationship that that actually really annoys you. He’ll be good enough to wait for your to ask for it.

·           Vincent actively encouraged you to get a guid dog, knowing that they were pretty good at getting people to move out the way when you walk. But also, as extra company when he leaves on occasions.

·           He tries to stand by you when people get grouchy with you. This can become protective behaviour, and he will always be at your defence.

Reno

·           Reno bumped into you, or you bumped into him when he stood out in front of you. You apologies and he made some sort of quick joke. He planned again for you to bump into him. Using the “We keep bumping into each other,” line. You laughed despite the cheese and he invited you for coffee.

·           Reno is very supportive of you but at times he can be a pain in the ass, always trying you help you when you don’t need help and never learning. He can be a little hurt when you push him away, but he has to learn.

·           He learnt to read in braille in a week just because, and it meant he could leave notes for you.

·           He’s always trying to describe how he looks to you in the mornings and the only way to shut him up is to clap your hands on his face and say “Oh… you could have made more of an effort” just to wind him up. It will result in a “Hey!”

·           Reno also tries you ensure you have the most recent technology to hand ensuring you have first pick.

·           He can and will be extremely protective of you especially, when someone doesn’t move out your way or just dumps something on the side expecting you to be able to grab it. You tell him you’re fine, but he’ll still snap.

Sephiroth

·           Sephiroth met you at the school for the blind. You were a teacher and he’d come in to do some PR work for Shinra. He got chatting with you during a break and invited you to a date.

·           Dating Sephiroth is no easy feat. He seems to always attract people, but it also meant the waiters payed extra attention not to offend you. In the past you’d have gotten tutting when you’d ask for a brail Menu. Now they seemed more than happy, a little too happy, to accommodate you.

·           Much like Reno, he’d ensure you’d have the most recent technology to hand, and also provide this to the school. He’d also ensure you had the best guide dog Shinra could develop.

·           One good thing Dating Sephiroth has ensure, is the awareness people now seemed to have around blind people. You didn’t like how you became the topic of nearly every newspaper story going.

·           Sephiroth did try and protect you from public eye, however it was inevitable that you’d eventually have to face it.

 Roche

 ·           Roche met you on one of his days off outside the train station. He almost ran you over with his bike, when your guide dog pulled you off the road and gave a little angry Bark. He went to shout “Watch where you’re going,” when he saw you were blind.

·           He asked you were you were headed and if he could help, when you declined, he accepted and went on his way. From that day on he tried every day to bump into you, eventually plucking up the courage to awkwardly ask you out.

·           He took you to a little coffee shop, forgetting to ask if they did a menu in braille. They did not and so he had to read off the menu for you.

·           Roche can be a little awkward around you, sometimes being overly enthusiastic about helping you.

·           He once tried to walk your guid dog when you were sick. He put the blind dog coat on and got confused when the dog kept stopping by curbs and stairs. You laughed when he questioned you and you asked if the dog had his coat on, and he confirmed this.

·           He also got confused why you didn’t want to ride with him on his bike after the first time. Getting a little upset when you said it was the most terrifying fifteen minutes of your life.

·           You understand you have to build his confidence sometimes around your blindness. Roche isn’t hopeless, he just has a tendency to make extra sure he’s not offending you and ending up hopeless.

Cloud

 ·           You met Cloud at Seventh Heaven, falling over and literally landing in his lap. He apologies to you, even though you were the one who had fallen. He helped you up and got Tifa to get you cup of something hot to help calm your nerves. You both hit it off from there.

·           Cloud can be a little clueless sometimes. His mind is always on other things. He’d often come out with things like “It’s over there,” When you asked him for something. Apologising after he realised his error though. He soon learnt quickly.

·           He’d often marvel at how you lived life in the slums Commenting about monsters. To which you laughed and said you knew where those areas were and avoided them.

·           Cloud would take you to music bars for dates so that you could both sit and listen to the music. Even though it wasn’t his type of thing.

·           He would also describe things to you, like the sky and the stars. You’d ask him how he knew about these things, thinking of the plate you knew of so far above and he told you about his hometown in Nibelheim.

·           When Cloud knew he wanted to be with you long term, he finally got around to learning braille like Reno. Though not quite as fast.

Biggs

 ·           Biggs met you at a charity event. You were there advocating for Blind awareness and he had walked over to find out more.

·           After the Charity event you both went to coffee to talk more. He was fascinated by life.

·           Biggs learnt everything he could about being blind when he started dating you, to help ease your life.

·           He perhaps made a little bit to much of a big deal about it to begin with, obsessing over making his home easy for you to move around in. You expressed your gratitude but reminded him you weren’t helpless, after all you’d lived in the slums your whole life.

·           Much like Cloud and Reno, he made an effort to learn brail to make communicating with you easier. IE shopping lists and that one really nice curry he makes.

·           Biggs began to assist at the charity events you attended and helped introduce you to the Leaf house to teach the children.

·           He could still be a little overprotective of you but that certainly calmed down from what it was like in the beginning, though he did bug Tifa for not making the Bar more blind accessible.

Vincent Valentine

-          Vincent is no stranger to shapeshifting abilities. This ability was one he knew of personally. Something he didn’t want but had learn to live with.

-          It was on his travels around Mideel, that he found you, you at first judged him to see if he’d be a worthy victim, but you’d been alone so long. Your sisters having moved onto other islands, after the island suffered during Meteor fall.

-          You, sung to him at night, surprised that the song didn’t effect Vincent.

-          After a week with Vincent, you decided to trust him enough to show him your other form. Webbed hands, long fish like body below your navel. Fins along your arms and one long dorsal fin down your back.

-          Vincent simply cocked an eyebrow and sighed, revealing his own beast form.

-          You look at Vincent shocked, pulling herself to the water’s edge, he bends down, long nose close to your face.

-          “I guess we both have secrets of our own…”

Reno

-          Reno found you at Costa Dal Sol. He was on holiday… for once.

-          You were just sat on a rock looking out into the sea, body in human form but long hair still wet. You sensed the danger in him, attracted to that. This man was not going to be a victim.

-          You slip off of the rock and onto the sandy beach walking over to him. He continued to watch you; eyebrows arched interested as your hair swung around your hips.

-          He had you on your back that night.

-          When Reno told you, he was heading back to Midgar, later that week, you wanted to follow, but he had to know. You whispered for him to meet you at the beach by moon light.

-          He walked down to the coastline and his eyes widened, you pulled yourself onto the same Rock, fins on show. They glistened silver under the moon light. “Will this change things?”

-          Reno bit his lip, eyes wide in shock “I’ll have to get a bath…”

Sephiroth

-          Sephiroth met you on one of his SOLDIER missions, you were singing to try and attract prey but were surprised when the Silver SOLDIER turned up.

-          You sensed he wasn’t… all human and so stopped singing, He felt dangerous to you.

-          Sephiroth questioned why you stopped, and you replied that he has startled you.

-          He came back regularly when he could to meet you. Stating you were his secrete songbird.

-          He often requested for you to sing again, which you declined, seen as your voice would attract others and hypnotise him.

-          One day he questioned why, so you showed him. You slipped into a river pool you had been walking near, revealing your long fins.

-          Sephiroth knelt before you and kissed your nose stating how beautiful you were.

Roche

-          Roche had the fortune of being rescued by you.

-          He was drowning and you dragged him to shore, watching over him until he woke. The mako in his blood would have poisoned you, so… he was no good as a victim.

-          He returned to Midgar stating he’d been rescued by a merperson, Relentless teasing followed.

-          For the next few years, he spent most of his down time looking for his Merperson.

-          Roche took a boat and sailed out to see looking for you. He was caught in a storm and again… ended up in the sea.

-          You recognised the lovable man and dragged him to the shoreline.

-          He woke and grinned at you “I found you…” you look a bit surprised, touched by his wanting to find you and replied with “I guess you did…”

Cloud

-          Cloud finds you at Costa Dal Sole whilst he’s looking for answers regarding Sephiroth.

-          At first, he doesn’t really speak to you, just to ask about Sephiroth. You notice he isn’t whole, and find he’s broken inside.

-          You spend ages with him, trying to wake up his dormant side, Sing different spells over him. No luck, not even your skills could save his mind.

-          You grew to love Cloud, wanting to save him from himself.

-          You tried to show him your Natural form. Fins on show, but Cloud reacted badly, pushing you away and running. So, you turned away from him, heart black as stone.

-          A year later cloud returned, but he was different. He was… Whole. You dragged yourself out of the sea, not hiding your form.

-          “I’m sorry Y/N… I was not me,” he said to you. “And now you are?” he asked. He nodded and you pulled him into a deep kiss.

Biggs

-          Biggs found you in the slums. You were alone, hugging your arms missing the sea. Your people were gone, Shinra had…. Biggs knelt down in front of you worried.

-          “Are you Ok?” he asked. You sniff and shake your head “I’m lost…”

-          He nods, understanding. A lot of people were lost in the slums. So, Biggs helps you out.

-          He gets you your own place, with a bathtub. Helps you get a job and introduces you to his friends. His kindness warmed you.

-          You two started dating. But you still felt lost. You told him of where you came from and he agreed to go with you to visit.

-          Biggs marvelled at your homeland. An island in the ocean, accessible to a few. He questioned why it was abandoned, and you slipped into the water, revealing your true form.

-          You told him the story of what happened to your people and why you felt lost. “You’ll never be lost again… because you have me,” he says to your kissing your forehead.
