Since I posted the "goodbye pilars" under the rain, I'll also post a video of the Igualada castellers group during the act itself, because they did very well.
A diada castellera is an event celebrated usually as part of Festa Major (traditional Catalan local holiday celebrated in each town/city on the day of their patron saint) or sometimes another holiday that is important in the town. On the diada castellera, the town's main square becomes the scene not only for that town's castells group, but most of the time also for invited groups from other parts of Catalonia.
In this video, you can see the local group (Moixiganguers d'Igualada) for their city's Festa Major.

Enjoy the best traditional festivals in Spain
Spain is famous for its crazy festivals that keep going throughout the year. These festivals represent the culture of the country and its long history. Some festivals are for fun and enjoyment, and some represent the religious figure of the Spanish culture. The colorful and passionate culture of this country attracts millions of visitors every year. All the tourists get madly involved in the country culture to vibe along with the festival. Each festival comes with a unique vibe, celebrations, and unforgettable memories. The celebration of the Spain festival is different from any other celebration in the world. Get to know about the top 7 cultural celebrations in Spain. Enjoy at least one out of them and that will be the best part of your vacation ever.
Top 7 cultural celebrations in Spain-
1. La Tomatina: The La Tomatina festival is the world's biggest food fight which everyone craves to be part of at least once in their lifetime. The choice of food for this festival is tomatoes, isn't it surprising and amazing? This festival begins at 9 am. The best fun part is a large hunk of ham is tied onto a tall pole and people try their best to get it. But it is not easy to get the ham because the pole itself is very greasy. After 2 hours of failed attempts, there's phase 2 of the festival. Around 11 am the trucks full of tomatoes are there which start unloading tons of ripe tomatoes to the general public. With this, the madness is spread all around the small town of Bunol, where this festival takes place on the 26th of august. Till noon everyone throws tomatoes at each other, baths in puree, and at 12 the last canon goes off stating the end of the festival. This is the most fun experiencing cultural festival in Spain.
2. San Fermin (Pamplona Bull Run): This is a popular still a bit controversial festival in Spain. This festival occurs in the northern city of Pamplona for a week in July. During this festival, each morning participants and the bulls get ready for the race to the bull ring for the bullfight. This festival is quite dangerous many people got injured very badly every time. But no animals are harmed during this festival. The first time this festival took place was in 1591 and since then it's been a trend. Every morning from 8 am this ritual starts from the 6th to the 14th of July in Pamplona city.
3. Feria de Sevilla: This is the most iconic festival in April every year in Seville, Andalusia. Feria is a place that is famous for the citizens riding the horse in lavish attires among the tents and casetas. Despite private bookings, there are public tents available, so you can be a part of this moment and enjoy the party. During the daytime, Feria is completely occupied by the families with their children enjoying the fair rides and experiencing the amazing traditional meals at casetas with the traditional music. At night the moments turn high with free-flowing alcohol and parties. This is the most important festival that shows the beautiful side of Spain culture. The locals and the foreigners in the traditional attire parade along the streets while enjoying the music and the food. It starts from 26th April and continues till 2nd May.
4. Carnival: No matter where you are in the country, you will find the Carnival celebration around you. Each city holds a different vibe during this festival. Over costumes, exciting parades, loud music, and plenty of alcohol are the highlights of this festival. Carnival dates vary each year due to changing dates of Easter. All carnival festivals are not celebrated in the same way but you will have the best experience wherever you are. Some destinations are on the top for this festival, especially Island Paradise, Tenerife is home to Spain's most loving Carnival festival.
5. Semana Santa : This is the most famous, and best traditional festival in Spain especially due to Roman Catholicism being the religion of the country.
This festival occurs before the week of Easter. This is considered a holy festival in Spain. This celebration has been taking place for centuries throughout Spain and still the way of celebration is the same as what it used to be 100 years ago. Everyone is dressed in the traditional costumes for the and very fine and somber music played by the live bands for the Easter celebration. This is celebrated in almost every city in Spain but the celebrations of Seville and Malaga is the most famous one.
6. Festa Major de Garcia: This fun summer festival is held in the capital of Spain, Barcelona in the district of Garcia. At this festival whole street is decorated, and almost all the neighbors come together to take part in the activities and to win the title of the most uniquely decorated street. The decorations of each street throughout the district are very unique and beautiful. Many street vendors and performers also take part in this festival. It occurs in the mid of August, from 15th to 21st. don't miss the fun of this festival, make some strangers friends and enjoy the space.
7. Barcelona Beer Festival: If you like any sort of alcoholic beverages, then don't miss being a part of the Barcelona beer festival. This will be your favorite Spanish festival for sure. It is named a beer festival but it holds all varieties of wines, champagne, whisky along with beer, and many more. You can also be a part of amazing music shows by local artists. One interesting fact is that this festival converts Spain into the beer capital of the world for three days.
You can vibe in the environment with the sip of the best alcohol brands, music, and other fun-loving activities.
These are the top 7 cultural celebrations in Spain. Don't waste your time only on the imaginations, experience at least a few of them. Get your Spanish visa UK and experience the best vacation in Spain by witnessing the Spanish culture and traditions. You will never regret your trip to Spain also you will be going back with loads of memories and fun experiences. You will find the Spanish culture most enjoyable, strictly traditional, and a bit dangerous also if we only talk about Bull Run! It will be worth visiting and indulging in the Spain culture for some time.

Its about how everyone told the french not to break the bed and helped reinforced their house when they had nothing to their names
Its about how everyone says hello to each other when they log on. Like when Fit logged on after Pomme “lost a life” and said he knew something was wrong bc no one said hi.
Its about how the secret order was supposed to be only a few select people and now majority of the server is in it because it’s important to the island
Its about how they made a code that they can quickly type incase the code monster attacks so they can protect their eggs
Its about how everyone was 100% on board without a second thought when Roier and Jaiden asked them to travel over 6000 blocks when though some of them never met Jaiden or Roier
Its about how people will immediately help with the eggs tasks even if they were about to log off the server
Its about how Jaiden needed an adventure partner and a bunch of people were willing to help
Its about how people are more than willing to help babysit the eggs if the parents are busy
Its about how when Charlie went on a rampage to kill their eggs, they treated him gently and with kindness because they knew he was in pain
Its about how when new people come to the island, everyone goes to Casalonas to celebrate and have a good time
Its about how everyone was screaming at Cucurcho to bring Bobby back and willing to give valuable items in exchange.
Its about how people make events to bring everyone together so they can have fun together (Hide and Seek, Festa Junina)
Its about love and friendship and community.
The universe said you are not alone
The universe said you are not alone
The universe said you are not alone

“visual journal, 4th september 2024: my homage to catalonia aka my home country (one of many). I absolutely adore going back and seeing my friends and family, but can never shake the feeling of melancholy either. like going back to a place that fills you with so much nostalgia yet still feeling disconnected from it somehow. piñas al revés a las 19:00 en mercadona, blasting sabrina carpenter on the plane to and from el prat airport, and looking at all the photos my mum has of me as a toddler on her mirror. we watched el correfoc for the festa major and I remembered how much it used to scare me as a little kid. beach and suncream. wearing old 2010s clothes from my teenage wardrobe. warm 30 degree sun.”

what do you think of the rainy day fight bpp? we’ve heard both sides’ version of the story but what really gets me is how jungkook during festa 2020 didn’t even feel any secondhand embarrassment when jimin was telling the story when all the other 5 members were feeling it lol jungkook was kind of endeared by the memory by the way he was smiling
***
Aren’t they just adorable?
Jimin was doing major damage control in that Festa 2020 live lmao. The members were calling it a romance drama, Jimin took over the telling from Jungkook, saying a whole lot without saying too much, and Jung Kook had the silliest most endeared smile on his face the whole time.
When Jungkook calls Jimin his catalyst, I feel the rainy day fight shows us one of the best examples of how Jimin fills that role for Jungkook.
My quick summary of what the rainy day fight was given what jikook have said about it: There was tension in the group due to how (a hormonal teenage) Jungkook behaved and treated his hyungs. Stern words were exchanged and everybody left the practice room, except Jimin and Jungkook. Jimin then had a frank conversation with Jungkook which ended with Jimin saying something to the effect of ‘if this is how you’re going to be, fine. I won’t care about you anymore.’
I feel like Jimin to that point had been Jungkook’s biggest support and most ardent advocate. I’ve talked before about how the attention Jimin showered on Jungkook in their early years was genuine and partly served the purpose of helping establish the maknae centrally within the group. Jungkook is someone who needs a lot of love, by his own admission, and Jimin is someone for whom giving love is instinct. It’s natural to him. They were both far from home and found home in each other.
I think the rainy day fight was one of the first times it really hit Jungkook how much he loved and relied on Jimin. Left alone in that practice room, rain pouring down hitting the roof tops, Jungkook felt a world in which Jimin treated him like any other bandmate was unbearable. He realized that for Jimin to even make a comment like that, he must’ve fucked up royally. It caused him to reflect and before long, he ran after Jimin.
We all know how the story ends, with jikook finding each other in the rain, hugging it out, and talking way past midnight on the roof of their dorm. The guys have said this happened in 2015 or 2016.
There’s no bigger Jimin Stan than Jungkook, and no bigger Jungkook Stan than Jimin. This hasn’t changed in 10+ years. And this is the thing that I find most interesting about jikook: how consistent they are. Not even the most highly awarded Oscar winner can put on an act for 10+ years, and then even when off the clock, choose to spend 18 months joined at the hip while completing a mandatory military service, all to serve a company’s fan service narrative.
Anybody who thinks Jungkook hates Jimin, would do anything malicious to him, or that Jimin thinks somehow less of Jungkook or would put up with bullshit from Jungkook because Jimin is oh so kind… anyone who thinks this is insane. In my opinion.
I’m talking daft as a brush, mad like a rabbit on crack. Just plain delusional, no two ways about it. Jikook are the og “you are me, I am you.” The rainy day fight is one of the key instances we see this play out, crystal clear.
