While I would have appreciated a link/proof/etc be provided (since just claiming something’s a scam without proof is kinda eh…) this is the second type of ask I’ve gotten like this and after looking it up it does seem likely.

Went ahead and deleted the post. So, thanks.

But maybe at least give instruction on how to find the proof of a post being a scam next time you send someone a message like this. Just saying something’s a scam doesn’t automatically prove it is. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

How is saying that 'talking about how the public responded to you saying you were abused is defamation' going to help anyone but abusers, trying to silence their victims? It's really going to put people off even alluding to their abuse, let alone coming forward with names, talking explicitly etc. Like this will have negative repercussions for victims of any gender

Agree with your post 💯. Also 'Believe all women' was never supposed to mean: believe literally every woman. It was supposed to mean, that if the majority of women tell you there's a systemic problem rooted in misogyny then believe them. It was mixed up with 'believe victims' which is very harmful since 'victims ' is gender neutral. It didn't need to be changed.

And I’m certainly not going to dispute you on the origins of the “Believe all women” phrase. I brought it up though because that phrase is something I’ve seen get tossed around almost endlessly over the course of this whole debacle by Heard’s supporters.

That phrase has unfortunately gotten twisted in the public’s mind to be about victims of abuse (which is usually viewed to be mostly female), and I’d wager it’s had far more negative effects than just the one I brought up in my post.

you can no longer claim to have been abused unless you prove it in a court of law, except oh wait, amber already proved he abused her in the case in the UK and yet she still can’t even mention having been an abuse victim generally without naming anyone. yeah how could this possible result in victims being scared to come forward 🙄

Ya know… I love how Heard’s supporters seem to all have like the same three or four talking points as their “proof” and argument in their favor. Shows just how much of an echo chamber they really are.

I’m also not gonna argue with you when a simple Google search (or just actually watching the trial. Which I did, btw) could do the same. I refuse to waste the effort on someone who so clearly isn’t willing to listen in the first place. :)

So in that drawing of the three Beetlejuices, why did you choose drowning as the cause if death for toonjuice?

I went with drowning since toonjuice canonically displays severe hydrophobia multiple times in the show. I’d seen a few people use that cause of death for him before and figured I’d go with it since it makes logical sense given what we see in the show and it opens some nice doors for angst. (Which i always love. 😈)

THE FIRST CHARACTER I EVER FELL IN LOVE WITH: Father. 

A CHARACTER THAT I USED TO LOVE/LIKE, BUT NOW DO NOT: I still love all of them.

A SHIP THAT I USED TO LOVE/LIKE, BUT NOW DO NOT: Never had that problem

MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE CHARACTER™: Father

PRETTIEST CHARACTER: Most of the main characters are children, so I’m gonna go with an adult (so I don’t feel creepy) and say Father again.  In particular when he’s in his usual silhouette suit.  It’s just such a sleek and cool character design, and I LOVE it.

MY MOST HATED CHARACTER: Grandfather (love him as a villain, but as an in universe character he’s a bastard who should have NEVER been entrusted to raise one child, let alone two of them!)

MY OTP: Nigel x Lizzie (it’s cute and I still am kinda sore about their break-up)

MY NOTP: ANY ship that involves one of the adults and one of the children.  I’m honestly disgusted that ship content like it even exists in this fandom but it does, and it sickens me to my core!

FAVORITE EPISODE: A tie between Operation: C.A.K.E.D. F.I.V.E (the star wars parody episode) and Operation: I.T.

SADDEST DEATH: N/A (”Don’t worry, nobody dies in this movie, they just get really big boo-boos.”)

FAVORITE SEASON: I think it’s the last two seasons. The art just seemed to at its absolute best, plus they had some of the best story lines and episodes.

LEAST FAVORITE SEASON: I’m gonna say season 1 just cause the art style hadn’t really found it’s groove yet.  The stories were still great, but the episodes weren’t always as fun to watch as later seasons were.

CHARACTER THAT EVERYONE ELSE IN THE FANDOM LOVES, BUT I HATE: I’ve noticed a lot of people seem to like Chad but I’m just kinda, EH, about him.  I don’t hate him, I’m just kinda ambivalent.
