I have a friend who loves moths so I told them about this blog and how so many of the results turn out to be moths. MANIFESTING 2025 Memories

Because we were absolutely FERAL and manifested smex cards, I'm gonna put my ideas for cards/banners/events out there for the Infold team - who I think we can all agree, browse social media and see our collective mental breakdown on the regular.

Some kind of astronomy banner/event with a nod to astrology. They have the boys zodiac signs listed, they know the astrology girlies would eat it UP. Maybe an event exploring a planetarium and there's a booth for a zodiac analysis with special dialogue to associate with your zodiac sign & his. I want to witness Zayne being told how much of a Virgo he is while also being reminded I am also very much a Virgo. Thanks.

Summer beach event with SWIMWEAR for both the boys & MC. I know they probably won't want to give us MC in a swimwear (for many reasons), but imagine the possibilities (full coverage bikini, tankini, dress or skirt coverup, rash guard, etc) which we could buy in the chocolate shop. And then do cute lil beach photo shoots...

Speaking of chocolate shop - PUT MORE OUTFITS IN THERE CAUSE DAMN... I know there must be people drowning in chocolate if you've got everything already. Also, we grind for it for a reason, give us more thingies please & thank you.

And speaking of outfits... if we see that red shirt show up in one more memory... Listen, personally I like the outfit, the choker is cute and it suits MC, but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY GIVE US MORE! The boys get hot fits on the regular with events, let MC have MORE!

Oh and circling back to grinding tehe can Abyssal Chaos be reset when Caleb comes home? It would be really cool and stuff... There's only so much we can do and I KNOW WE HATE TOBIAS BUT, to be so real, I think we would all deal with him if it meant free resources.

HEAR ME OUT - a spring Renaissance Fair. I can't get the image of Sylus in armor doing a jousting contest out of my head (fanfic incoming?!) and MC in a cute lil medieval hunters outfit. Give us that time travel shit again and I will give all my money. Rafayel critiquing medieval art, Zayne conflicted about using modern medicine & OOH Xavier accidentally getting drunk on strong af mead HELLO?

MC won a bet, the boys have to do something - I've seen some fanfics, I KNOW okay. Put Rafayel in a maid outfit and Infold, you will have enough money to support yourself through 5.0!

Similar to the bet concept, a prank war. Each boy would prank MC so differently so it would be a really funny group event. Like Rafayel would not hold back, he would probably end up making MC mad. Xavier would be super silly with it, old school pranks and MC would be trying to do more modern pranks. Zayne would be hesitant to prank her, but would, only because she pranks him first. And I SWEAR Sylus wouldn't pull a single prank, but the ANTICIPATION would be MCs undoing.

Since we didn't get a Halloween event, might I suggest a Friday the 13th event? First Friday the 13th is in June and methinks that is the perfect time for something SPOOKY. Monster boys. That's all I gotta say. Make em classic horror monsters - WE KNOW YOU CAN YOU MADE THEM CATS FFS - and I will slam my credit card on the table.

Specific to the Boys:

Sylus: - I wanna be on his bike again. Please, I beg, biketok is going away and this is all I'll have (dramatic). Take me on that "joyride" baby! - I want angst. I want MC to come face to face with the consequences of being so close to Sylus. Either the Association coming down on her for her associating with him OR Sylus's enemies making a HUGE MISTAKE and coming after her to get to him. - More big dick gang leader Sylus. Show me his brutal side, WE LOVE IT AND NEED TO BE REMINDED OKAY?!

Rafayel: - MC models for him. Maybe for his birthday event? His "gift" is us modeling for a painting and it turns spicy. The multitude of fanfics speak volumes to how well this would go over. - Please PLEASE give us Rafayel with a tail. Just spend the money, render that beautiful bitch and give us an H20 "oh no I got wet, ahhh my tail" moment. I beg.

Xavier: - COOKING CLASSES. I feel like it was hinted at in the prologue for the Love Tour event, but I would love to see them in a class together. Just domestic cuteness. - ANGST ON HO HO NO... Can we have an actual Sleeping Beauty moment? Xavier falls into a deep sleep thanks to a Wanderer and MC can't wake him up. Then you go all Inception on us and MC enters his dreams to wake him up. You could feed us so much lore disguised as "just a dream" or even have MC discover some truths about his past.

Zayne: - Exchange program. MC gets to experience the other side. She works with the combat medics to gain more knowledge which will help her on the field. Maybe another "hands on training" moment withe Zayne (I MISSED THAT CARD, IT'S ONLY FAIR INFOLD). - ANGST PLEASE - MC has to have surgery after a mission. Maybe it is minor, or maybe make it major and have us cry. And Zayne has to walk his fellow doctors through the procedure because his hands are shaking so badly at the thought of losing the love of his life. (crying) - Two words. Library make-out. I will give you two more. Library smex. Give our nerdy girls the fantasy, TRUST.

For Caleb, I do hope his first card is really sweet or insanely heavy. Make a statement cause people either love him or hate him and those undecided will make up their minds with that card. He didn't get blown up for nothing, give the boy a chance.

Oh gosh. So, one thing about me is that I HATE ranking things! 😂 I always feel very anxious and indecisive about it, but I want you to have a happy birthday, so I will do my best! Just know that these are in no particular order and I'll probably remember another one that I wished I had included later on, haha. Ok, so...

The Bracebridge Dinner. It's so cozy! It's Christmassy and there are sleighs! My favorite couples have cute moments in sleighs! I have to ignore Lorelai and Sookie constantly calling this Renaissance-themed dinner "19th century," but hey! We can't all be perfect!

Deep-fried Korean Thanksgiving. Another holiday-themed episode, I guess. I don't know, it's just really well-written! There's Lane and Dave being adorable, Sookie and Jackson being hilarious, one of Rory and Jess's best kisses, and the Gilmore Girls+Diner Guys family meal that I like to believe is a foretaste of things to come...

A Tisket A Tasket. This baby has it all! Cat Kirk! Wacky Stars Hollow shenanigans! Significant shipping moments with Javajunkie AND Literati, including TWO adorable book conversations between Jess and Rory! Listen, when I said this has it ALL, I mean that this one episode has (for Literati) the "intellectual soulmates," "forbidden love," "boy picks up a trinket belonging to the girl and pines over it" Romance stuff that makes me FERAL, I get so high off that stuff... 😂

There's the Rub. You know the biggest appeal of this one, and of course it's: Rory, Paris, and Jess all sitting around the table arguing about books and sharing fast food together! 🥺 Sigh! I wanted MORE of that! But I confess I also find the Lorelai and Emily storyline in this episode really entertaining, haha.

Ok, I'm making myself pick one that's NOT Literati-or-Seasons 2/3-centric, so...

The Festival of Living Art! I don't know, I know it's one of those episodes where nothing really "happens" plot-wise, but I just adore the whole goofy premise of it! The art tableaux! Lorelai's cellphone going off during her performance when she FINALLY had the role she's been coveting for years! 😆 Kirk being Christ at the Last Supper and it IMMEDIATELY going to his head... "YOU JUDAS!" 😂🤣 *Sigh!* It's just a classic.

Nicolas has seen Hell many times, so many he has lost count. So many he has forgotten, or they have blended together into one horrifying, screaming, wailing mass. The place stinks of blood and shit and the sickly-sweet, gagging stench of rot. The air is humming, ringing with the moans and wails of men – boys, his horrified mind supplies – in agony, men dying. Some faster than others, all slowly. All human pain is here, before his eyes, and it claws at him like a feral cat, gouges at his senses, yowls at him, and will not let him rest. He cannot rest. He cannot. Not when he might save the next, or the one after that, or maybe the next one… The bruising beneath his eyes is deep, deeper than ever. His body aches, every muscle screaming. His mind is abuzz, full of incessant droning, like bees have made their hive in his skull. His feet are lead and his hands… His hands. They do not tremble, they dare not tremble, one wrong move and it could spell disaster, a cut artery, ever more blood fountaining across himself and the floor, and one more dead boy. But what would more blood be? He is covered in it, and his hands… oh, they are drenched. He has no time to wash it off, he could never wash off this much blood, up to his elbows, his rolled-up sleeves soaked. It’s seeped into his skin, dyeing him.

Feeling some type of way about the stories we're getting out of recent anime seasons and what it means for the future - in storytelling and beyond. So many of them taking classic tropes and flipping them on their heads or giving them a new twist we've rarely, if ever, seen before.

- Frieren with the story starting at the end of the heroes quest. Structured like a traditional shounen, but instead of constant power ups, it's learning patience and using the tools you've diligently studied beforehand. With very emotional themes around grief and love being two sides of one coin. Not just focusing on the tragedy of grief, but healing and living in the wake of it.

- Apothecary diaries as a murder mystery, chinese inspired court drama full of political intrigue and riddles... but for once entirely from the eyes of women. The concubines and their roles in the palace, to the courtesans of the red light district, to the servants scrubbing the floors.

- Sign of Affection as the pinnacle of the shoujo renaissance, but the main character is disabled and it's treated with care. And also it's not 13 episodes waiting for them to date, we actually get to see them have a relationship. Spoiler alert, they're kissing by episode 7.

- Dungeon Meshi starting like a typical high fantasy, light hearted, monster-of-the-week cooking show, only to dive into themes around ecosystems and power structures, obsession and consumption. Not to mention all the same genre gimmicks we're used to seeing but subverted. The character thats actually an adult but looks 14 is a dude for once, and he's a divorcée with 3 daughters. The main fan service is a hairy dwarf that just wants to cook you good food. There is a cat girl. She's not sexualized, she just acts like a feral kitten they found on the side of the road. Because that's what she is.

It just makes me really excited, especially when compared to the corporate run media that seems to be taking over everywhere these days. None of the shows I've listed here are perfect, but it demonstrates a trend on stories that's been going on in recent years. Where we seriously think about the unwritten rules we live by and start to question how we might approach them differently.

Hi folks -- we're back with the Chill Valicer Save this week, working our way through the trio's Spring Wednesday! And this one proved to be a bit busier than anticipated, so let's get straight in --

-->First things first – picked up with the gang just bumming around their house at about two in the morning, as they do. As Alice needed Fitness skill to help fulfill her Renaissance Sim aspiration (and thus her New Year's Eve resolution), I sent her off on a feral run, while Victor got to go back to bed for a little more sleep, and Smiler –

Got put on weeding duty. Because, despite cheating the glitched plants from the previous episode to be weedless, the minute I checked the greenhouse, I saw that the weeds had resprouted! I hoped that maybe now they were non-glitched weeds and would go away when vacuumed up, but nope, Smiler once again got stuck in a loop when they tried to weed them. *grumble* And when I tried resetting the weed growth state again later on, the weeds disappeared...and then just grew right back again! What the hell – what’s even the POINT of letting me get rid of the weeds if it won’t ACTUALLY let me get rid of them?? *shakehead*

-->Anyway – once I saw that Smiler was stuck in the loop, I canceled the action and instead had them go lecture Surprise about playing in a trash pile that was next to the garden sink (from when Alice repaired it last time). The cat didn’t exactly know what she was being lectured for, but at least she stopped making a bigger mess! Smiler scavenged the pile for parts, put it in their inventory, then went back to their robotics bench to make more mechanisms and computer chips for that Servo project I’d like them to start at some point (you know, to help around the house and the store). As they were doing that, Alice returned from her feral run, and I had her pick up the mail –

Which contained a giant plush bunny! Their reward for finding all those decorative eggs, I presume! :) I decided it could go next to the knitting basket and rocking chair in the séance room – only to discover the darn thing was not live draggable, unfortunately. So Alice had to go there manually and put it in the world herself. *shrug* I figured while she was up there, she could get some meditation in (helps keep the Fury at a manageable level, after all), and had her plonk her butt down on the stool for a little while (at least, until she started levitating). Not only did she end up getting Wellness level 6 during her little Zen session, she ALSO got a pop-up stating she’d thought of a hilarious joke while meditating and got Comedy level 5 out of it too! Two skills for the price of one, I love it! :D

-->While Alice was getting her chill on, Victor got up, used and Scruberooed the toilet, then popped down to the greenhouse to do some tending (and get stuck in a few weeding loops of his own on those glitched plants *sigh*) before grabbing some honey out of the bee box, picking all the grown over-sized crops (the big mushroom wasn’t QUITE ready), and super-selling everything else because, well, they don’t really need any more fruit, veggies, or flowers JUST at the moment. XD Smiler, meanwhile, got put on livestock duty – feeding the chickens, cleaning the coop, telling them some jokes, and telling Surprise that she was not to play in the chicken feed either, before moving on to clean and chat with Moory. Moory didn’t think much of their attempts to talk about the weather, but did like their joke, so Smiler was able to successfully milk her, yay. We appreciate when the cow cooperates with us!

-->We also appreciate when the Sims decide to be cute on their own – case in point, Victor, having finished in the greenhouse, promptly went over to Smiler after they’d finished milking Moory and made out with them right by the cow shed. XD I then had Victor offer his wrist to a thirsty Smiler (his plasma is their favorite, after all), while I had Alice return to normal after her meditation session and go get the eggs. Once Victor was done being drained, he went over and had a little slow dance with Alice in front of the chicken coop – seems like farm chores encourage him to be romantic. XD Shadow came over and started whining at them for a walk midway through, though, so I had Smiler go over and play with her a bit to keep her occupied. Cute family times are cute! :) Anyway, with the chores done and everyone having gotten their adorableness quotient for the day fulfilled, I tried to have Victor set up the trip to the store –

Only for him and Alice to get obsessed with playing with the clay blob, with Victor insisting on walking all the way to the living room even when I canceled the action in favor of them going traveling. *shakes head* Sims sometimes, I swear..

I made an attempt to communicate with The Thing That Lives At The Pond. Turns out the candle system works great. They were especially pleased to find out they could turn the “yes” candle’s flame purple and so if anyone else tries this, know that if you see a flash of purple it mean “very yes”. Oh, and bring dragon’s blood incense. They can’t smell but clearly they find something about it enjoyable.
