When I say feminism, the response I get is if I hate my father or my brother or just men in general? As if only men are the patriarchs, no they are most definitely the most famous ones, women who suffer patriarchy, become patriarchs too...and I can't hate them either. I hate no one, but the society as a collective (me included)

Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Priyanka Chopra's Fight for Pay Parity
Priyanka Chopra Jonas' journey to achieving pay parity reflects the systemic challenges faced by women in Hollywood. During her appearance on "The View," she candidly shares her disbelief at the acceptance of her request for equal pay. Reflecting on the pivotal role of Jennifer Salke, the female head of film and TV for Amazon Prime, Chopra Jonas raises important questions about gender dynamics in decision-making positions. Would her plea for equal compensation have been met with the same enthusiasm if the studio leadership were predominantly male?
Chopra Jonas' success in securing equal pay not only marks a personal milestone but also serves as a catalyst for broader change within the industry. By advocating for parity, she paves the way for future generations of female actors to demand fair compensation for their talents. As she aptly puts it, "Women have to be in decision-making positions because it changes other women's lives."
This victory resonates with the broader conversation surrounding gender pay gaps in Hollywood. Ellen Pompeo's revelation about her salary disparity on "Grey's Anatomy" and Chopra Jonas' own experiences in Bollywood highlight the pervasive nature of this issue across different entertainment industries. However, Chopra Jonas' success story offers a glimmer of hope and serves as a testament to the power of persistence and advocacy in achieving gender equity.

13 years ago, I chose a new name for myself on a computer screen. What a long road it has been, to seeing it etched on an award. Rest in Power
The photos I am posting are not meant to be disrespectful, but rather a tribute to the Black people whose lives have been unjustly taken away by police brutality and our society that turns a blind eye. As an ally, I think it's important to know who we're fighting for and why. If this, as an ally, makes you uncomfortable, it should. In a better world, we should not know these names for these reasons. However, we do, and we should be fighting to prevent the same fate for other Black people.
These are not my photos, but photos from activist accounts on Instagram such as @ tenderbi and @ feministvoices. The thread that takes up a majority of this post is originally from @REALITIGIRLFRIEND from Twitter. I encourage you to look through their accounts and others for information on the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as spreading awareness.

Liberated from @feministvoice and I feel the same way. It's not a woman's job. We do what we do, we can't expect a woman to keep getting beat because we threaten to hurt ourselves, or we die and of course it's unfortunate because my job, my mission is to help keep as many PWUD alive, but a woman leaves us for whatever reason then this happens to us, it's not her fault, it's not her responsibility to stay because if not whatever happens to us it's her fault, we as men have to take responsibility for our own actions because believe me if it was a women the first thing you hear is, what did she do to bring this on herself. It's really fucked up that when it's a man something happens to, it's the women's fault, but when it's a woman it's, she must have done something to bring this on. Stop the bullshit already.
