I haven't gotten my own grubby hands on it yet
///
and I'm debating on whether I'm going to pick it up or hold off for a switch port/femc edition, I'm WATCHING YOU ATLUS you and your scummy dlc practices (seems like Episode Aegis/The Answer will be remade too but as DLC which is a lil scummy sigh)
///
but one thing I'm really impressed with so far having watched playthroughs of it here and there is the translation and smaller changes to the writing! The script seems a lot more character-nuanced (Junpei and Yukari), generally the flow and timing is a lot nicer and Japanese terminology is properly handled and not given that weird "weeb-ish" effect that the original version + p4 kinda had a bit of a problem with, like changing around honorifics + name usage to "dumb it down" for western audiences.
I still wanna make at least one more femc round before going to reload so I'll still keep to Portable for Femc superiority but the remake looks gorgeous and like a grest remake of the original! I hope everyone enjoys their brain chemistry changing experience in Persona 3~~ (it's not like it's my favorite or anything pff noo where did you get that idea?? HHAHAHAHA)

Round 4: Chara Dreemurr (Undertale) vs. Ken Amada (Persona 3)
Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut
Chara Dreemurr (?):
They were constantly blamed for killing all of monster kind in the no mercy route, despite players choosing to go that route. People ignored that they sacrificed themselves to attempt to free the monsters from the underground.
----
everyone wants to blame their own actions (genocide route) on chara, who is a literal child. i don’t know how to tell you this but you are the one playing the game. it’s about YOUR CHOICES. chara is there is punish you for that, you killed the only family that ever loved them! how could they not be upset at that! also if you don’t mind, here’s a good video essay on the subject
youtube
Ken Amada (11):
y'all are all for "murder and revenge plots" until is a 10 y/o boy who watched his mother die and started to become conflicted after realizing his moms killer is a secretly kind traumatized teenager to the point where the 10 y/o boy attempts to kill himself by giving himself up to assassins.
bro he's 10.
----
ken amada is such an interesting character with the unfortunate circumstances of having little screentime and atlus deciding to ruin his reputation forever by giving him a romance choice in the fem protag route. ken is a child who lost his mother at NINE. nobody ever believed him when he said that she was murdered, and that he saw who killed her. hes miserable, and all everyone around him does is give him sympathy while hes suffering and was forced to grow up before even going into middle school. hes angry and determined to get revenge on the person who killed his mother, and he doesnt even see the own value in living anymore beyond getting that revenge. hes more mature than most of his peers, and is desperate to be seen as an adult.but at the same time, he is still a child who likes superhero shows.
----
OH GOD WHERE DO I START
First there's the normal "The fandom hates kids" complaints of "He's so whiny" "he's so annoying" "oh my god kid just SHUT UP" y'know, the typical fandom stuff that makes you wonder if these people have ever talked to a child in their life
Second, there's (spoilers)...
October 4th, and the ENTIRE FANDOM is calling this kid a murderer.
For context, the moment in question doesn't necessarily paint him in the best light but its still understandable. Your team is going on a mission while Ken and another character named Shinjiro are away. In an alleyway, they have a talk where it is revealed that on that night a year priar to the game, Kens mom was killed in that allleyway by Shinjiro's Persona (Which, by the Rules of the Game Lore, basically means By Shinjiro). Ken tried to tell the authorities, the authorities didn't believe him because Magic Reasons and the death was ruled an accident.
Of course Ken is Fucking Pissed and wants revenge
However, because of Talk, he ACTIVELY CALMS DOWN, and realises "Hey, I probably shouldn't kill someone. Despite them, y'know, killing my mom"
HOWEVER REVOLVER JESUS COMES IN AND RUINS EVERYTHING BY SHOOTING SHINJIRO. AND LIKE, IF YOU PLAY P3P YOU CAN /AVOID THE DEATH THING/
AND EVERYONE BLAMES /KEN/. AND ONLY KEN.
And third (yes, there's a THIRD) IS THE FUCKING FEMC ROMANCE THING. WHICH JUST...SHOULDN'T HAVE EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT NOW HE'S "SHOTA BAIT" BECAUSE WE HAVE TO BLAME THE CHILD FOR THE AUTHORITY FIGURE COMING ONTO THEM 😒

Hello my Tumblr friends! Some of you liked the idea of Postapocalypse!AU, as well as the Junpei design I drew earlier. So I pulled myself together and drew portraits for the entire main cast of characters. I must say that they here are closer to the age of P4AU. It was challenging but fun to come up with designs and backstories for them that overlapped with the originals. Although I still haven't thought through some details… But I hope you will enjoy!
Tumblr media
FeMC/Minako/Kotone
Yes, this AU uses a female protagonist. She emerged from the Wasteland and all she knows is that she had some important mission. She is cheerful and always believes in the best. There are "XXII"-shaped scars on both sides of her head, similar to a brand. She seems to know what this is supposed to mean, but she won't tell anyone.
Status: Unknown
Tumblr media
Yukari
The best long-range power of SEES. She lost her father due to the fault of Mitsuru's father. She was looking for Mitsuru to take revenge, but instead she found her best friend. She can often be bitchy and sometimes too straightforward, but no one heals other people’s wounds better than her. She received a scar on her face from an unsuccessfully broken bow string.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Junpei
He makes bad jokes and swears a lot to hide his insecurities. Creates chaos almost everywhere it appears. He seems rude and ill-mannered, although he is a hopeless romantic at heart. But if you really make him angry, he destroys everything in his path (ask Takaya and Jin, oh no, sorry, no one will ask them anymore). Ultimately, his concern for Chidori allows him to shed his clown mask and show a different side of himself.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Fuuka
A mechanic girl found by SEES in a sand labyrinth. She suffers from strabismus, but this did not stop her from completely restoring Aigis and collecting several more useful items for SEES. Has a phenomenal memory. Probably the only one who never started a conflict first.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Aigis/A.I.G.I.S.
Initially, it was a cleaning robot, on which someone put a yellow wig and a ribbon. It rusted in a landfill for a long time until FeMС found it. Gradually he begins to become interested in the world around him and acquires a desire to find out what a person is and how to be one.
Status: Functioning
Tumblr media
Mitsuru
Official leader of SEES. Several years ago, during a shelter fire, she lost her father and was injured herself. She hides the burned part of her face under her hair. She is cold and difficult to compromise, but always acts as a negotiator between gangs of raiders, trying to extract the maximum benefit. Has many useful connections in Port Island.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Akihiko
Fan of fights without rules. More reasonable and less impulsive than Junpei, but if the two of them are together, then somewhere nearby there is trouble that they got into. Lost his little sister in a shelter fire and still tries to drown out those memories with alcohol. He often misses Shinjiro. Perhaps he was Mitsuru's partner a couple of times, but in the Wasteland no one cares who sleeps with whom.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Shinjiro
A wandering raider that periodically joins SEES and then leaves. Akihiko's former friend. Little emotional. Lost an eye in one of the raider skirmishes. He tends to evaluate people by their usefulness to society, but in the end he admits that he was wrong too often. For some time he was dependent on Strega's help, but later this developed into enmity. Alas, this did not end well.
Status: Dead
Tumblr media
Ken
Practically the “son of the regiment”, he was found at one of the temporary sites along with the body of his deceased mother and taken into the care of SEES. Refused to move to Port Island, choosing to stay in the shelter. Having already seen a lot of things he shouldn't have seen, he wants to become stronger to change the world. Gets close to Shinjiro, reading him as a fatherly/brotherly figure. Nevertheless, he gets very angry when he is overprotected.
Status: Alive
Tumblr media
Koromaru
Good boy. One day he just showed up at the shelter and everyone just accepted it. He warned everyone about the attacks several times, after which he received a collar and his own bowl. A good fighter, he always follows those who go on forays into the Wasteland. Perhaps the only one who simply enjoys life.

P5R: Rebel Girl (A FeMC Story/P5R Rework) Chapter 232: From Now On We Are Enemies
Ren and Akechi had just entered Leblanc. Ren turned the lights on. “So, do you want to start, or should I?”
“Actually,” Akechi said, “if it’s all the same to you, I would like to find the thing I left behind here.”
“You mean this?” Ren said, holding up the letter and envelope.”
“Oh,” Akechi said, stunned. “I see. So this is what we’re doing now.”
Ren nodded. “Unfortunately for you, your 85% deduction was correct. So now The Phantom Thieves know to go after Shido.”
Akechi smirked. “I did mention that was at the time of writing. As of last night, it was 100%.” Ren was confused. “I followed Makoto out of her house when she went to meet up with you. Imagine my surprise.”
“I doubt you were too surprised,” Ren said. “You pegged most of us on that list you gave Makoto.”
“Most of you, yes,” Akechi said. “However, I had not anticipated Lena to be among your ranks.”
“I guess that’s true,” Ren said. “Level with me: Is it because you didn’t want to, or you legit had no idea?”
“Hm,” Akechi chuckled. “To be honest, I’m not sure myself. Both explanations make sense. I am only human after all. But if I had to lean towards one, it would be because I didn’t want to. I mean, a few days after you and her met, Lena’s host mom gets a visit from them. That hardly seems like a coincidence.”
“You know, Lena rejected Eris’ offer to be her host mom’s crusader,” Ren said.
“How interesting.” Akechi remarked. “If I’m not familiar with this Eris person, what would you do?”
“I’d explain a little,” Ren said. “As much as I need to.”
“And if I am?” Akechi asked.
“It gives me confirmation, and we can continue our discussion.”
“Well then, what do you think?” Akechi offered.
“I think you know what I’m talking about,” Ren answered. “If I had to guess, I’m about 85% sure.”
Akechi chuckled. “Well then, let’s make it 100. I did take Eris up on her offer.”
“Hm,” Ren sneered. “I thought you’d be better than that.”
“I think you just don’t understand,” Akechi retorted.
“Enlighten me,” Ren challenged.
Akechi glared. “I have been after Shido for a long time. I’m not letting you take this from me.”
“You wanted to kill Shido for a long time?” Ren wondered.
“Well, sort of,” Akechi said. “I’m not going to threaten his life. Although I have wanted to kill him for a long time, I have since refined my revenge. See, killing him would just leave him dead. I need to make sure that he suffers!
He’s aiming to be Prime Minister? Well then, let him have it. But make no mistake, once he is there, it won’t be him dictating what laws, orders, decrees, or what have you come into effect. It will be me. I have collected enough dirt on him to the point where if he does not do as I say, all of it will be leaked.
Everything I’ll force him to do will be antithetical to his existence. He is a selfish man, but I will make him the most selfless, most well respected Prime Minister Japan has ever had. And he will hate every second of it. He won’t be lining his pockets. He won’t toss people aside on a whim. He won’t be doing something just for his own sake. And with that my revenge will be complete.”
“You know,” Ren said, “we could just steal his heart. Make him regret everything he’s done.”
Akechi nodded. “And if I had such a power, I might have done it a long time ago. As it stands, this is my current avenue.” He paused. “You know, you could just as easily let me handle this. I’ll even exonerate you. Round up some of the people actually involved, and have them arrested. Then we can work together to continue bringing down tyrants.”
“While simultaneously letting two of them go,” Ren countered.
“Two of them?” Akechi wondered.
Ren nodded. “Shido, and Eris.”
“Oh,” Akechi reacted. “I think you may misunderstand Eris’ intent. She hates people like Shido just as much as we do.”
“Ugh!” Ren shrieked. “I thought you were smart enough to know when someone is lying to you! She hates them because she ain't them! She wants the power they have, and she’s using you to get it!”
“How can you be so sure?” Akechi said.
“How can you be so naive?!” Ren retorted. “The past few people she corrupted aimed to kill their targets. She doesn’t stand for justice! I thought you stood for justice!”
“I STAND FOR JUSTICE!” Akechi snapped. “I don’t need some punk thief like you telling me what justice is! I fought my entire life to bring that man to justice, and I won’t let that opportunity be stolen away from me by some wannabe heroes!”
“You’re conflating justice and revenge!” Ren replied. “I don’t know what Shido did to you to make you so blind to the difference.”
Akechi looked at her intently. “You want to know what he did? He took advantage of my mother. As a result, I exist.” Ren was shocked. “He left her with a small child and her reputation in tatters. Her health deteriorated, and she eventually succumbed to her illness. So forgive me if justice and revenge overlap in this case.”
“Hm. Damn,” Ren said. “And I thought I had a good excuse.”
“What do you mean?” Akechi inquired.
“You know how I got arrested? Shido’s the one that set me up,” Ren informed him.
Akechi was slightly stunned. “Heh,” he chuckled. “Of course he did.”
“However,” Ren continued, sternly, “even though I have every right to want revenge, I’m treating him like any other target. He’s just another bad guy who needs to be dealt with.”
“He’s not just ‘another bad guy,” Akechi snapped back. “He’s the worst!”
“You say you hate him, but you’re giving him more praise than I am!” Ren countered. “You’re treating him like he’s something special. I’m treating him like he’s just a face in the crowd. Now tell me, which one do you think would bug him more?”
“Fair point,” Akechi said, “but a face in the crowd could just as easily be the most heinous person on the planet. I know who he is. He is the scum of the Earth. He is the spawn of Satan. He is the worst imaginable person. I’m surprised you don’t want revenge, even to half the extent that I do! He ruined my life, and he ruined your life!”
“Did he?” Ren countered. “I mean, yeah, getting arrested for something I didn’t do sucks. It is not a thing I would ever want to do again. But what happened after that? I came here, I made more friends than I’ve ever had, I started dating someone wonderful. Yeah, the circumstances of how I got here aren’t ideal, but I’m happy with the life I have here.” Akechi huffed.
Ren continued. “They say that living well is the best revenge. I don’t give Shido a second thought. He’s miserable right now because he isn’t satisfied with where he is, and from the looks of it, neither are you.”
Akechi sighed. He looked at Ren intently. “I guess you really don't understand. How could I be satisfied? My life has been one crisis to the next because of that man. I need to make him suffer before I can be satisfied. I guess that makes me seem crazy, huh.”
“You’re not crazy,” Ren replied. “You’re just a little unwell.”
Akechi looked at her intently. “I’m sorry. I know we’re friends, but I have to do this.”
“And it’s because we’re friends that I have to stop you,” Ren countered.
Akechi glared at her. “Very well. It seems like we’re competing to prove who’s side justice is really on. Kind of like how Mozart and Salieri were competing to see whose music would leave a bigger impact. However, unlike Mozart, once I am victorious, I will go on living.”
“Wait,” Ren said. “You think you’re Mozart in this analogy? I’M Mozart! You’ve been preparing your whole life for this, whilst I’m the flashy newcomer on the scene who is doing it better than you!”
“Hmmmmm,” Akechi pondered. “I guess that’s a fair point. Then the difference becomes that the Salieri in this instance comes out victorious.”
“We’ll see about that,” Ren replied. “Don’t underestimate Mozart.”
“Hmph,” Akechi scoffed. “If you do plan on going through with undermining me-”
“I’m not,” Ren said. "I’m undermining Shido.”
Akechi rolled his eyes. “Well, if you do do that, a word of warning: According to Shakespeare, all the world's a stage, and we are merely actors. Well, right now I’m in the director’s chair. I’ll be controlling Shido’s actions, and by extension the actions of all his cronies. And if you try to mess up my perfect production, you might find yourself blacklisted.”
“You know, improv might just be the thing to spice up your production,” Ren retorted.
“Hm,” Akechi scoffed. “I only said that because we’re friends. I don’t want you to get hurt.”
“Well,” Ren said, “to me, you’re already hurting. And I’m trying to fix you, but you just want to writhe in pain.”
“Well, it’s safe to say we have a difference of opinion,” Akechi said. “I wish things could have turned out differently. But alas, we are at an impasse.” He took out his gun. “I could just kill you now; save me the headache.” He put it away. “But I know you don’t deserve it. Instead, I’ll just say this before I take my leave: My revenge needs to be completed. I have worked for too long just to throw it away on a whim. So, if you won’t lay your weapons down for me, then you need to come at this with everything you’ve got, even if it is a little vengeful. I will not let some half-baked sense of justice destroy everything I’ve worked hard for. You need to show me that your convictions are just as strong as mine, or even stronger!”
Ren smirked. “Deal!”
Akechi nodded. “Very well then.”
Justice-Goro Akechi: Rank 8
“I must be going,” Akechi said. He started to leave. “I hope we can one day understand each other again.” He walked out the door.
Ren stared at the door for a minute. She was stunned by what had just occurred, but Akechi was giving them a chance. She got out her phone.
Ren: Did you catch all that?
Futaba: Yup.
Futaba: I gotta say, I do feel for him.
Futaba: All of that, plus being controlled by Eris is a lot. Trust me.
Futaba: But because I know what that's like, I’m just as determined to break him out of it.
Ren: Fantastic.
Ren: I’ll tell everyone to meet up at the Diet building tomorrow after school. Let’s see if we can’t get in.
Futaba: Aye aye!
Ren put her phone away, and walked out of Leblanc. She locked the building once more, and headed home for the night.

pq2 thoughts after finishing it!:
i think. it is a g. game. it is a persona game i will admit!
no but srs i think its good if youve never played a persona game which i assume is why its on 3ds only. it really does feel like discount persona with all of the last three cast thrown in? and some of the gameplay improvements (this game's gameplay aged better than fes and p2's LMAOO) i guess its a compromise to reach fans who've never actually played the main games cause they dont own a playstation console or something.
at the same time it makes no sense for "new fans" to play because you need at least some background knowledge of the prev characters and plot to care.
in my case i knew everything abt p3 and p5, only osmosis knowledge of the plot of p4 so i ended up using the p4 cast the least in my playthrough :( so theres that. not worth playing if u dont care abt the other casts imo
...so we agree the characters are the selling point here, its advertised as a mega crossover and whatever but. people complaining that theyre "watered down" to base traits or even traits they didnt have in the first place are Right LOL except for a scant few characters who get a lot of expansion. but for the most part none of them are themselves (like yusuke... 😔.... akihiko.... aki not as bad as yusuke but they have the same writing problem)
no one expects the characters to rly individually shine when theres so many ofc, the game even pokes fun at the "limited screen time" joke but like. what else is there to this? 🤔 well
character interactions! those were good. everyone expected detective princes meetup to be really great but i loved the other pairs like haru and mitsuru (heirs with distant dads...), and the PQ OC girl with futaba :] (introvert friends!!)(theyre like sucrose and collei in this year's windblume if you go there)
speaking of akechi though. yea he's part of the list of characters that surprisingly did not get butchered and in fact expanded upon in this game. aside from akechi it's P3 FeMC.
others i liked were P5 MC (his dialogue choices are SO out there), shinjiro aragaki, ken amada, yukiko amagi maybe yosuke hanamura and P4MC but their personalities just stayed the same instead of getting possible new insight?
i liked velvet room guys too theyre goated frfr! yes including marie. even i was surprised (probably cause akechi gets to poke fun at her and the twins hdjdhdhd)(cute)
i cant put P3 male MC anywhere cause i will always be biased towards him 😔🫰 (he was great btw)
but the crow character expansion in particular intrigued me and leads me to accept this game as canon like some ATLUS USA reps intended. akechi: stripped away of his obligations is a cunning, introspective and overall respectable young man and the game showcased all of his core traits well. he purposefully isolates himself from the main group and gets called out on it, consistently is the one that makes the most sense in discussions, gets various little moe moments... he honestly seems like he doesnt know what to make of all this forced bonding with strangers but he cant help to indulge anyway. 😭 he's vocal in discussions about their plans but a passive :) face in the background during fun moments until he's addressed or curious. the way he furthers the narrative along like they wouldnt get as far as they did without him i feel. but between all of that he was the main character to me.
the end scene where he seems regretful that he has to leave and go back to his revenge plot.... hurts. because for all intents and purposes we just saw akechi if he didnt have all that baggage and was just allowed to exist as himself. a smart guy with a whole life ahead of him. but he didnt choose that.
😔
oh god that emoji is huge but anyway. FeMC!! ^_^ the problems of toxic positivity being addressed in her arc was great. they really tried to give her as much love as possible without being too happy (persona games tend to make their characters suffer anyway to even things out) and it was great! her writing reminds me of kasumire's mental illness but with less romance tease pandering.
ah yes and the obligatory Persona side game OC... hikari and nagi. honestly wished they didnt exist as much as i liked hikari's thing 😔 it got old and outright cringe man im sorry like surely the devs could come up with something better than this?? way to not explain enlil and mess with the in-universe power scaling too LMAO. 2/10 is being generous!
anyway its a fairly short game in persona standards so i cant really say it's time wasted when i got so many character interaction crumbs..... i guess i lucked out by liking the characters that i do instead of ones that kinda got shafted in this. (except for aki but 😔 i just kinda accepted his blown out of proportions awkwardness outside of P3)
it's..... a 6/10 from me overall! music and velvet room attendants + nanako cameo DLC carried

Sailor Poet: Monika and Sayori Title: Need To Breathe…
"You'll get to breathe when I finish getting mad at you!" Sayori declared, though she did loosen her grip slightly, "I thought you were dead and that I would've never known what killed one of my best friends!"
"You told me that I made your life worse by being in it!" Monika countered, "Of course I cut off contact! If not for MC saying I should try talking to Sailor Poet anyway, I wouldn't have come to you in the first place!"
Sayori paused, releasing Monika, realization dawning upon her.
"MC knows you're Lady Rewrite?"
"Yeah," Monika replied, confused by the sudden change of topic.
"FeMC knows I'm Sailor Poet."
Monika's eyes widened as a similar realization dawned on her. FeMC and MC tended to talk to one another about everything...
Sayori locked gazes with her, and they knew what they had to do. They were going to get revenge on FeMC and MC in the most chaotic means possible.
Meanwhile, FeMC and MC try their best to keep Sayori and Monika's secrets from their respective twin.

Can you do Persona Q3 plot with P1 and P2 characters what Labyrinth theme is to be Art museum or a Library? what you favorite conversation for your idea, What your story plot for PQ3 and Can you make New Character(s) in this story? NOTE: Can you Fanfic PQ
Oh, wow! I'm not sure I have the focus to write a PQ3 fanfic. The Batman one I'm writing is updated every two months 😅
I don't mind sharing my ideas, though.
First, it would be necessary to find a point in the story where every cast is taken from.
The P1 gang would be taken after they realize they had been with the Ideal Maki all this time but before they save the real one.
The Tatsuya Squad (Tatsuya, Michel, Lisa and Jun) would be taken after they recover the crystal skulls but before they confront Nyarly.
The Maya Squad (Maya, Katsuya, Baofu and Ulala) is taken before the Other Tatsuya joins them.
SEES would be taken after Ikutsuki's betrayal (I also want Minako and Shinjiro to make an aapearance, so those two will be from the FeMC timeline).
The Scooby Gang would be from before Nanako is kidnapped.
The PTs (including Sumire and Akechi) would appear before the final fight with Maruki.
Everyone finds themselves in a deserted theme park Disneyland Destinyland style. This place will serve as the labyrinth and provider of games/shenanigans for the social interactions.
Suddenly, shadows/demons start to appear in waves, but a cute girl called Erity takes them to safety in a funhouse. She says she doesn't remember who she is or where she came from (in true Persona Q tradition). Minor conflict and confusion over the whole situation arises but is quickly cleared up. Introductions take place.
The smart ones quickly figure out that talking about the events that take place in the future would wreak havoc in the time-space continuum, so talking about their games becomes a no-no.
Erity shows them that the gates of the theme park are closed and they can't get out.
Erity says that she remembers that in each ride (there are five of them) there is hidden a key. If they find the five keys they will be able to unlock the park's gates and leave back to where they came from.
The only problem is that each ride is infested by shadows/demons with a mini boss guarding each key, so the heroes split up into teams from mixed games to cover more ground quicker (and for interaction purposes).
With a new journey started, the Velvet siblings (sent by Phil) appear to aid our heroes, accompained by the Demon Painter (for game mechanics), Belladonna and Nameless (for social interaction). The Velvet gang takes residence in the funhouse, where the party can rest after a fight.
As they clear the theme park from enemies the heroes will constantly encounter an underwhelming guy in weirdly colored clothing who calls himself their "Ultimate Foe". He has a funny mustache. He doesn't do much apart from minor inconveniences and trash talking each party member he encounters (he calls it constructive criticism) before disappearing via colorful smoke.
The Ultimate Foe turns out to be the god Momus, who claims to have created the theme park for his own amusement and gathered the strongest warriors for a "fun adventure for the whole family". This angers some people in the party. They fight Momus for the final key.
In a predictable twist, Erity turns out to be the true mastermind. Her real identity is Achlys, goddess of the death-mist, misery and sadness. She convinced Momus to create the theme park and let shadows/demons roam free in it. Why? Due to the heroes fighting the evil in the world, she has grown weak. This is bad news for her. To prevent this, Achlys chose to kidnap everyone where they would either die by shadows/demons or remain trapped forever.
Obviously the heroes defeat her (with some help from an offended Momus) and retrieve the final key. Final goodbyes take place and everyone goes back to their timelines with no memores of the events.
This whole thing needs polishing but that's the basic plot. Now, for some of the interactions I would show in the game:
The obligatory talk between the protagonists. Naoya, Tatsuya, Minato, Minako, Yu and Akira talk in a way that makes no sense for everyone else. Maya acts as their translator.
Yuka, Ulala and Yu share cooking tips.
Everyone pets Koromaru.
Some people pet Morgana (aka Katsuya).
Kei, Tatsuya, Mitsuru and Makoto talk about motorcycles (Makoto also shows off Johanna). Yosuke stares from a distance.
Revenge and its merits is discussed by Reiji, Jun, Ken and Akechi. Eveyone agrees that its better things ended the way they did.
Jun and Akira bond over the single fact that they're both Jokers. Clown to clown conversation takes place.
Katsuya, Naoto and Makoto talk about the law system. Dabbles on philosophical grounds.
Gardening time with Jun and Haru.
The Lovers girls (+Eriko) have a talk about the entertainment industry.
Eikichi convinces Rise to join his band (or at least perform together at least once). Naoya offers to sing but he is dismissed.
Kei, Mitsuru and Haru talk business.
Hidehiko, Junpei, Yosuke and Ryuji get into a mess.
Teddie tries to "score" what else is new. He freaks some people when he comes out of the suit.
Maki, Masao and Yusuke have an artistic conversation.
Baofu and Futaba realize they have the same Persona. They become besties from then on and talk hacker nonsense. Everyone fears this duo.
Lisa and Chie bond over kung fu.
The P2 cast freak out after meeting the younger versions of their P1 friends.
Tatsuya and Makoto talk about siblings. Yu gives a speech about family somewhere in there.
Maya freaks out when Tatsuya, Lisa, Eikichi and Jun talk to her like they know her. Remember this is her EP version.
Likewise, Tatsuya gets weirded out when Ulala and Baofu (people he barely knows) approach him in a similar fashion.
Katsuya almost arrests someone.
Fuuka, Rise and Futaba talk about the importance of the navigator in a fight.
I also have other interactions in mind but this post is getting too long.

The Midnight Channel had brought your team another sense of unease. The silhouette of the delinquent was still fresh in your mind. Even after the event where he saved you and Nanako from that creep, his ruthlessness and anger shown on TV and in the Midnight Channel still scared you.
“It would be difficult to warn a man such as he.” Izanami stated, crossing her arms. “The results could even lead to physical violence.”
Tomoe nodded towards her. “A feckless youth like he is bound to get violent when he sees us. If only I was corporeal I would have taught this runt a lesson.”
Jiraiya scoffed at her. “Bold words.”
“Anyway,” Chie interrupted, “he’s really scary, isn’t he? Did you see the news the other day?”
“Yeah, I saw it.” Yosuke replied.
“You mean the special on biker gangs?” Yukiko said. “I saw it, too.”
She then looked down. “She wasn’t like that when he was younger, though…”
When she said that, you all turned to her, surprise clearly written on each of your faces.
Chie was the first to break the silence. “You know him, Yukiko?”
She nodded at her. “Uh-huh, but we haven’t talked to each other in a long time. His family runs a textile shop, and we’ve been a customer of theirs for many years. So I speak with Kanji-kun’s mother from time to time.”
The memory of Kanji saving you and Nanako from that creep resurfaced. You looked over to Izanami and thankfully she understood your wary glance.
Yukiko continued. “Why don’t we go there now? We might be able to talk to him in person.”
“I agree.” Chie said. “Besides, we can ask if anything strange happened too.”
Konohana shivered. “Do you think he’ll murder us when he sees us?!”
Chie slumped. “I’m sure he’ll only murder us. Besides, he probably won’t hurt us inside his own home.”
“Then it’s settled.” Yosuke said in finality. “We’ll go there right now.”
He turned his head to you, looking for confirmation. You nodded.
“If all else fails,” Chie continued, “we hope that our Personas can clobber him using textiles!”
The rest of you except Tomoe (who looked proud) looked at her in shock.
05/16/MON-After School | Tatsumi Textile Shop
The textile shop was an old Japanese building, complete with paper sliding doors and tatami mats. The numerous textiles that were displayed all range from colorful patterns to normal colors. To you, it wasn’t anything special. But for the female Personas, they were ecstatic. Immediately as soon as you entered the shop, Izanami, Konohana Sakuya and even Tomoe made a beeline towards the numerous textiles being displayed. It was painful to have all of you keep your emotions in check when they attempted to pick them up. Even Chie had to choke back a scream when Tomoe picked up a yellow-colored textile.
Trying to keep your expression back to normal, you looked at the woman who attended the shop, only to see someone else talk to her.
The boy was wearing all blue, with a blue cap atop his head with blue hair peeking from below. His blue coat and plaid pants stood out from your uniforms as he turned to see your group. He only gave a little nod as he walked past your group.
“What’s up with him?” Yosuke asked as soon as he was out of the store.
Chie only shrugged. “I dunno.”
“Yuki-chan!” The older woman gasped. Your group immediately turned to her. She was an old woman but she still seemed youthful at heart, wearing a traditional kimono and sitting near the textiles. Immediately you have to bite back a scream when Izanami picked up a piece that was dangerously close to Kanji’s mother.
As calmly as you could, you and the group asked what you needed from the woman. Yukiko tried her best not to worry her by mincing her words but it would ultimately lead to Kanji being pictured as a rebel punk. You thought that this would warrant enough attention for your Personas to be brought back to normal but you see Izanami and Konohana dress Tomoe up in a scarf. At that point, you just gave up.
Speaking of Personas, Jiraiya was the only one who wasn’t as excited as the others. Instead, he looks at the textiles boredly, lingering his stare on the women for a little while before moving on. He notices a scarf hanging near them and he immediately floats over to it. Without thinking, he decided to grab it outright and wear it around his neck. Red did always suited him well and combined with the white butterflies? He wasn’t an insect person but he had to admit the patterns looked so nice on him.
He sauntered to Yosuke, who was away from the group. “Hey, I look good in this, yeah?”
At first, it didn’t register with him. But when he realized it, he gasped and glared at Jiraiya. “Dude! You can’t just wear that thing when one of us isn’t a Persona user!” He whisper-yelled, not wanting to draw attention to him. Still, he decided to humor the frog and looked at the scarf. In that moment, he felt a sense of deja vu.
“This scarf…” He muttered. “Hey, Chie, c’mere a sec.”
The girl turned to him and gasped at the sight of Jiraiya wearing one of the scarves of the store. She hurried to them and dragged Jiraiya down by his scarf so it wouldn’t be obvious.
“The hell is wrong with you?!” She whisper-screamed at him. “Are you trying to cause her a heart attack?!”
“You can pummel him later, Chie.” Yosuke intervened. “But look at the scarf he’s wearing.”
Ignoring Jiraiya’s choking, she looked at the scarf. Like Yosuke, it brought her a sense of deja vu until it hit her. “We saw this inside the TV!”
At that moment, you and Yukiko turned to the two. Jiraiya was down on the ground, trying to catch his breath while Yosuke and Chie sheepishly held the scarf in their hands.
“Oh?” The woman asked them. “Do you want to buy that scarf?”
Yosuke tried to ignore your glare. “No but um… Did Ms. Yamano happen to have a scarf like this?”
The woman tilted her head. “Ms. Yamano? Why yes. It was a special order she placed.”
The team’s eyes widened. Chie took the time to return the scarf where it belonged as the woman continued her story. “She actually ordered a pair, but in the end, she said she only wanted the women’s scarf. It left us with no choice but to sell this one separately.”
Izanami, Konohana, and Tomoe were still blissfully trying out the textiles.
Tumblr media
“… How the hell did you three manage to scrape by with some scarves?”
You stared aghast at the female Personas-each sporting a scarf that matched their clothes and tied to where they liked it: Izanami wearing a black and yellow scarf that replaces her usual white neck scarf beneath her coat, Tomoe with a green scarf that matched Chie’s jacket wrapped around her bicep, and Konohana with a red scarf with pink petals wrapped around her neck.
“Don’t worry!” Konohana said to you. “Izanami managed to get money from you to pay the scarves!”
“She did what.”
Your Persona chuckled when you sent her a death glare. “Consider this as a gift for us women.”
Yosuke said your name. “You can strangle Izanami later but we need to reconsider this entire case.”
The adrenaline from running away from Kanji after hearing his dilemma on going to school after a long time still thrummed within you but you calmed yourself down. “Okay… Let’s figure this out one more time.”
He nodded. “Remember the common points we were talking about? His mom fits the pattern. She’s a woman, and she knew Ms. Yamano. But it was her son who appeared on TV… So what does that mean?”
You pondered for a moment. “Kanji is definitely the target. The Midnight Channel wouldn’t lie.”
Yukiko nodded at you. “That’s right. Maybe it’s similar to my case because of my mother. She fits the criteria more than me yet I was the one targeted.” “Does that mean it’ll be the kid again instead of the mother?” Chie asked. “But if that’s true, then the killer’s motive makes no sense at all. It’d have nothing to do with silencing witnesses or revenge or anything.”
“Y’think we’re on the wrong track?” Yosuke questioned. “Maybe even the first case had nothing to do with grudges or revenge. Or is there some kind of secret in the textile shop itself…?”
“Unlikely.” Jiraiya piped up from behind Yosuke.
“Oh, you’re alive.”
“Can it, woman. Anyway, I did a whole check around the building. I can confirm there’s no hidden passageways or traps or anything in that building.”
“How do you know that?” Yosuke asked him incredulously.
“Dude,” Jiraiya tested the word and you had to bite back a laugh on how uncomfortable he looks. “I am a ninja. The greatest ninja, might I add. I searched the damn place like a madman. I can confirm there’s nothing wrong with the store.”
Yukiko hummed. “Either way, we can’t just ignore it.”
Tomoe spoke up. “Didn’t we hear that runt talk with the hat-wearing boy? Maybe we’ll find our answers there.”
“Oh yeah!” Yosuke said. “It’s his first time going to school after the new year. It would be really suspicious if he just showed up at school out of nowhere.”
“Then it’s settled.” Izanami stated. “We’ll intercept Kanji Tatsumi after school and see where that takes us.”
The idea sounds good enough. But with two loudmouths on your team, you were sure this stakeout would become a disaster.
Chie practically vibrated where she stood. “A stakeout? Oh, I’m excited!”
“Don’t get too excited.” You chided her. “We need to be quiet if we want to get answers.”
You looked at the team, seeing that they’re all in agreement with the plan. “Let’s rest up. We have a big day ahead of us and there’s no telling what’s in store.”
They all nodded. All of you were ready to figure out the case.
05/17/TUE-After School | Tatsumi Textile Shop
Underneath the torii gate by the shrine, you waited patiently for Yukiko to come back. Your foot tapped idly against the concrete, your eyes watching the shop but occasionally fleeting over to Izanami. Her clawed fingers kept fiddling with her new scarf and despite the mask, she looked happy wearing it.
You’ve elected to ignore the hole in your wallet (both metaphorically and physically). “You seem happy wearing that.”
She stopped her fiddling and looked at you. “I am. It’s not often I get to have a luxury such as this.”
Your mind thought back to her memories as a goddess. She clearly was not the real goddess that you’ve read and yet she retains memories of the real one. Hell, even Jiraiya said he had memories of him being a ninja and Tomoe saying that she was in war once. If they’re having deja vu being important figures of Shinto lore, then it doesn’t make sense that they’re here under your beck and call.
Remembering what you’ve read, you decided to ask her. “Izanagi doesn’t bring you gifts?”
She flinched. You watched her with widened eyes. “Did I say something wrong?”
Izanami clutched her scarf and you feared her fingers would leave holes. “It’s-It’s nothing. Just… When you said that name I-I felt so… scared. Yet so angry I…”
Your arm raised up awkwardly, wanting to comfort her but before you could, Yukiko and Konohana came back with drinks. You turned to her and Izanami composed herself like she didn’t have a breakdown.
You have to bring this up one day.
“Here.” Yukiko said, handing you the drink that you wanted. Grabbing it, you thanked her as you uncapped it.
She looked at the shop. “Nothing seems to be happening, which is good. Though we can’t be too comfortable.”
Konohana visibly shook. “You think the killer will come by?”
Izanami comforted her by placing a hand on her shoulder. “If they do, I’m here to protect you.”
“We’re here to protect you two.” You corrected, giving Izanami a side-eye glance. “Don’t worry too much.”
Yukiko blushed lightly. “Th-Thanks… I’m counting on you two.”
She looked back at the store then looked down at her drink. “It would be scary if they did show up… But I’ll do what I can if they do. You all saved my life… I don’t want to be the only one doing nothing.”
You said nothing, not wanting to break her spiel. As if she realized that, she jumped up from her stupor. “Oh! I’ve been rambling again, aren’t I? I’m sorry, I’m just so nervous…”
Without thinking, you punched her shoulder lightly. “Don’t worry about it for the last time, Yukiko. You and Konohana are a valuable asset to the team just like any of us. Don’t start belittling yourself because of what happened in the TV World.”
From your words, you can see the immediate effect. Both Yukiko and Konohana’s eyes shined at your praise and you inwardly gulped. Is this what Jiraiya meant?
“I… Thank you,” Yukiko said your name, “it’s strange. Normally, I’m so confident when talking to other girls and yet… You make me feel like I can do anything. No wonder I’m having so much fun hanging out with you, Chie and Yosuke.”
Thou art I… And I am thou
Thou hast established a new bond…
It brings thee closer to the truth…
Thou shalt be blessed when creating Personas of the Priestess Arcana…
Persona Time
“… You two are ridiculous.”
Tomoe said dryly, looking at her master and Yosuke hiding behind a tree as they scouted Kanji and the mystery boy. If she was alive, she would’ve felt her soul leave her body from how absolutely cringe it was to see them huddle behind a goddamn tree like they were reenacting a comedy skit in a play.
“I don’t know Tomoe,” Jiraiya said, leaning his elbow on her shoulder, “maybe he likes it-”
The pained yelp didn’t deter the teens who were still watching Kanji. Despite that, Yosuke sighed and removed himself away from Chie. “This is ridiculous… Some stakeout this is…”
Chie got up from the ground and placed her hands on her hips. “You think the others are having any luck?”
He shrugged. “If the killer does show up there, then…”
He trailed off, thinking about what he was about to say. If the killer did show up, then…
He suddenly had an itch on his leg. Like he was about to hightail it out of the park and sprint towards the textile store. But he held it back down, for your sake. He knew you were tough, you can make it out of there, right?
“Hey, earth to Yosuke.” Chie said, snapping her fingers to shake him out of his daze. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Huh?!” He stammered, feeling that his face warmed all of a sudden. “N-Nothing! Besides, pipe down, we’re on a stakeout!”
She was taken aback by his voice and scoffed. “Geez, it’s not like we’re close to them or anything. Besides, I wanna ask a question.”
He crossed his arms, not liking where this is going. “Go ahead.”
“How are you with ____?” She asked innocently. “You two are closer than the last time I saw you two.”
He immediately choked and averted his eyes from her questioning gaze. His hand flew to his face to cover the blush as he tried to come up with a response. “Chie! Wh-Where did that come from?!”
“Like I don’t see you going ‘partner this’ ‘partner that’ everytime we go inside the TV World! I swear, I feel like there’s something going on between the two of you that I don’t get!”
He choked once more but before he could respond, Jiraiya swooped in the middle and shoved Yosuke away. “Oh, green lady, the amount of times that Yosuke is hopelessly pining for ____! It’s disgusting really, but I don’t blame him one bit with that body!”
“Jiraiya/Frog!” Both Yosuke and Tomoe exclaimed, one in embarrassment and one in anger.
Chie laughed triumphantly. “So there is something going on! Oh man, I wonder how she’s gonna reject you like Yukiko did with you!”
“R-Rejection already?!” Yosuke screamed. The word felt heavy in his heart but he covered it up as much as he could. “Now you listen here–”
“Hey!” A voice called out. Immediately they could feel fear grip their hearts. “The hell are you two doin’ there?!”
Sad to say, the mission failed.

Any hopes and wishes for pq2?
They were granted when the FeMC showed up. 8U Jk, not jk.
Hmmmm
P3(P) and P4 vs P5. I want the drama, the clashing of ideals. They can work together but still have issues with one and other (I don’t think either P3 or P4 groups should end up joining P5′s because I feel like P3/4 have a lot more similar ideals than P5′s kids). I want them to actually make P5 present it’s ideals and ACTUALLY DEVELOP THEM INSTEAD OF DROPPING THEM AFTER MENTIONING THEM AND THEN NEVER DOING ANYTHING WITH IT AGAIN! *cough*
Minato vs Hamuko. Not in the same fashion above, but I feel like they are different enough to butt heads, and I feel like, while they might share a same core ideal, they might have different views on how to obtain it.
Minato and Hamuko bonding (I want a love hate relationship with them tbh). Maybe they bond over Pharos. One conflict I thought would be cool for Hamuko, is considering how P3P makes it feel like she’s close to ALL her SEES members, she feels personally….betrayed in a way whenever they go behind their back and cause drama (such as Yukari asking Fuuka to hack the Kirijou group). She feels like she’s the glue trying to hold the group together, but she feels she might break at any second. I dunno what Minato might say, maybe something like “Oh I never thought of that tbh….I just felt like coworkers and just let them do their own thing.” Maybe feel bad he’s not as close to the guys as Hamuko apparently is.
Goro/Ken/Yosuke talking about revenge
Goro/Makoto/Haru and Ken having a mind trip over the fact they are all the same age.
Naoto being suspicious of Goro, and Goro being wary of Naoto but trying to play it off (maybe even Souji being wary of Goro too).
Minato and Hamuko being confirmed to not be the “same” person similar to ala Bioshock Infinite’s Lutece Twins. But instead something more like….P2′s Doppelgängers. Ironic since if you perform the character shadow/outline test they are actually pretty easy to identify (unlike apparently Tatsuya and Jun). But yeah just being kindred spirits/souls who happen to share the same fate depending on the timeline (and possible the other still existing in each other timelines)
Hamuko getting a female Orpheus Telos or a female Messiah. (or a diff Ult Persona to Minato, so I guess a fem OT would be the best choice).
Hamuko and Minato being able to perform limited fusion spells (if you are a fan of this duo, you probably like the idea of them shooting each other in the head to perform such a fusion).
Not having any characters perm in the party, aka I don’t need to have an MC in there…Oh looks like as I was typing this MysticDistance confirmed this in the Famitsu article…..sweet!
Anne/Aigis/Teddie blonde babies interacting ;w;
Anne/Hamuko interacting
Group Date Cafe returning
and being able to pair Hamuko up with my ships (from roughly greatest to not as greatest main ships): Minato/Hamuko, Anne/Hamuko, Souji/Hamuko, Aigis/Hamuko, Yosuke/Hamuko, Teddie/Hamuko, Mitsuru/Hamuko, Shinji/Hamuko.
Hamuko having a very important role (confirmed/seems to be hinted at while typing this)
PQ2′s reason for existing being similar to PQ1′s. Aka, PQ1′s reason is cause it helped explain why the P3/4 kids trusted each other so quickly (cause they had their subconscious memories), and also to wrap up who Labby’s mama was. But for PQ2 it’s to set up the next possible arena game, and maybe to reintroduce the Minato Timeline!FeMC as a “new” character.
P5 kids finding out Igor might not really be Igor
Margaret/Liz/Theo (if they are even there) meeting the Twins and being very confused.
More secret bosses.
Edit: I guess Goro talking about his past and telling the P5 kids what he tells them around the boss fight and....well not really “redeeming” himself but maybe deciding to just work with them to take Shido down.
All I can think of right now. XP

Me: Wow, the Persona universe theories are so far fetched that it's almost unbelievable.
Also Me:
I have a theory that (during Junpei's SL in P3P) the person who was secretly taking pictures of FemC/Minako was Kamoshida. Not sure how many years are between P3 or P5, but I can guess MAYBE he used to be a PE teacher at Gekko High (as one of the pics included Minako in her PE uniform).
After Junpei found out who was sneaking photos of Minako, he got into a fight with Kamoshida; in retaliation, he tried to get Junpei suspended/expelled or possibly tried to frame him for the photos.
Little did he know that (during this point I believe) Junpei and Minako were both friends/teammates of Mitsuru Kirijo-- who is now the head of the company that built/supports the school... and did NOT tolerate the fact that someone was taking secret photos of one teammate and trying to pin it on another. She of course makes sure Kamoshida is fired and not allowed anywhere near the school or FemC again. (She doesn't give a sh*t about his former athletic career-- if his actions jeopardize her company's rep [further], she recognizes no fame during execution).
He's pissed. To add salt to the wound, he learns a couple years later that Junpei-- the teen who kicked his a** and spoiled his fun-- is now an all star baseball player, having the stardom HE once had.
Cut to years later. Kamoshida now lives in Shibuya, now a gym teacher at a school with little to no conduct. He meets Ryuji-- the teen reminds him of Junpei in too many ways, so he zeroes in on making his life at school miserable: breaking his leg, ruining his love for track, digging up dirt on his home life... and ruining his connection with the track team when Ryuji stands up to him (living the illusion that it's his way of getting revenge on Junpei).
...
But that's just a theory. A FAN THEORY! ...aaaaaand cut.

Please share the seeds speeches. It'll be nice to see them acting in defense of someone
I’ll probably be refining and editing these before they get actually put into a draft, so here they are in their slightly messy state. Also, please don’t reblog this–as I said, it’s rough and not quite polished or complete.
The basic premise behind these quotes is that some Thing (eldritch, supernatural, borderline immortal) is haunting the FeMC and it has to be slain four times. This is what each of the Seeds say when they confront that Thing on their own.
John pushes a knife sharpener through her lungs so she gradually drowns as her blood fills up her lungs. I cannot pull your sin from you. I wouldn’t even if I could; you are far beyond all help now. Like a cancer it has permeated every part of you; it has oozed through your soul, staining it deeper, darker. And what little of you is left will drain away like water in a sieve, swallowed up in that great, gaping blackness. In the end it will drown you, and I’ll be right here, watching, waiting. I want to see the light leave your eyes. I want to hear you breathe your last breath. I want to cherish the moment you start to rot–and I want you to die knowing that your daughter will be better off without you. With your death, she will be… free.
Jacob hunts her, taunting her. It’s time she knows what it’s like to be prey. She wasn’t your daughter. She was never your daughter–she was your dog. Some mongrel you kept chained up. And any time you felt like it, you just picked up that lead and dragged her close enough to hit, then kicked her back. Dragged her in, kicked her back. Hit, kick. Over and over again. And if she ever had the nerve to defend herself, you hit and kicked harder. Now, I’m not gonna give you a taste of your own medicine. That would make us equals, and you don’t deserve the distinction. Instead I’m going to give you something worse–something you deserve. I’m not here to make a martyr out of you. You aren’t a dish fit for the gods–you’re meat, fit only for a dog.Pick a saint and pray they show you mercy, because god knows I won’t.
Faith take up her role as the forbidding, stern mother (which she already shows in game) as a way to protect the FeMC. You are so selfish–you made her! No girl ever asks to be a daughter. Mothers make us; you name us, raise us, and you kill us and call it love. You call us rotten, ungrateful, bitches–monsters. If that is what we are to you, then that is what I’ll be. You gave your daughter life, and you tried to snatch it back–but you failed. She survived. She’s ours now, and her revenge will have no limits, as I will be its instrument.
Joseph strangles her with his bare fuckin’ hands, his grip never relents, even as she claws at his hands and wrists, trying to get to his face. Mother is the name of God in the lips and hearts of little children–but you are her mother no longer. I am the Father, and she is my Bride.

hit me up with those hamu headcanons, i love hearing everyone's interpretation of her.
well then buckle up my dude
1. sometimes matt and kim reminds me of akiham because of their energy and silliness, but more so kim in their music videos reminds me of hamuko.
2. hamuko is said to be a tomboy, but is dressed pretty femme. i try to keep this in mind when i draw her to add those touches, but honestly i get inclined to draw her as futch/soft butch. like… p3p emphasizes pink for femc, but most of her outfits are orange/warm or adorned with a lot of bows? so for example, i designed this...
3. i generally view hamuko as quiet and mild, and i was stuck with this for a long time, but lately when i do give her more of a personality, i realize that i make her rather boyish… i guess that’s just how it be with player’s influence.
4. speaking of, i’m torn between thinking hamuko in general was quietly overly exerting herself to feel dependable — or at least with akihiko at first the way he treated her like a child without context made her want to troll him for revenge but quickly played herself. i like playing with different scenarios so whatevs
5. i have no opinion in regards to hamuko and minato being siblings. i also have alternate scenarios, including: hamuko being awake with minato’s psyche, and when she falls asleep she becomes minato’s psyche as he’s awake; hamuko being alive in minato’s verse and possibly meeting akihiko post p4a. i feel i have more but i can’t think of them atm.
6. i think she looks good in glasses, so she might wear those from time to time.
7. honestly i feel i mix her up with chie but ??? how i view hamuko feels too right with me and there are differences. also i can’t seem to romo ship chie with akihiko, although i love them together very much too. i do imagine akihiko and hamuko being together, and chie, being akihiko’s best friend, being supportive |D
8. unrelated to hamuko, oddly enough, despite the fact i do ship them, i love the idea of akihiko living alone except maybe with aigis and a dog and possibly adopting. but also — i could’ve sworn i made a post about this but i can’t find it atm — i imagine he eventually meets hamuko later like in minato’s verse like i mentioned earlier, and aigis would understand akihiko’s feelings for her better than he does. i also imagine the living alone part in hamuko’s verse too where there are lots of angst.

Round 2: Nanami Kiryuu (Revolutionary Girl Utena) vs. Ken Amada (Persona 3)
Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut
Nanami Kiryuu:
In a show where major characters regularly engage in domestic violence and sexual abuse, the one character fans hated for decades was the 13-year-old grooming victim who tried to bully her peers to gain some semblance of control in her life. She wasn't even good at it
(Mod note: Please be advised that RGU contains dark themes beyond what has already been tagged if you plan to look into it. A comprehensive list of content warnings can be found here)
Ken Amada:
y'all are all for "murder and revenge plots" until is a 10 y/o boy who watched his mother die and started to become conflicted after realizing his moms killer is a secretly kind traumatized teenager to the point where the 10 y/o boy attempts to kill himself by giving himself up to assassins.
bro he's 10.
----
ken amada is such an interesting character with the unfortunate circumstances of having little screentime and atlus deciding to ruin his reputation forever by giving him a romance choice in the fem protag route. ken is a child who lost his mother at NINE. nobody ever believed him when he said that she was murdered, and that he saw who killed her. hes miserable, and all everyone around him does is give him sympathy while hes suffering and was forced to grow up before even going into middle school. hes angry and determined to get revenge on the person who killed his mother, and he doesnt even see the own value in living anymore beyond getting that revenge. hes more mature than most of his peers, and is desperate to be seen as an adult.but at the same time, he is still a child who likes superhero shows.
----
OH GOD WHERE DO I START

BUT NOW HE'S "SHOTA BAIT" BECAUSE WE HAVE TO BLAME THE CHILD FOR THE AUTHORITY FIGURE COMING ONTO THEM 😒
Mabel Pines (12):
I literally saw a tiktok today about how Mabel is a bad person. She’s 12! Like yes, she has made some mistakes and bad choices, but so has everyone else. And I never see any of the other characters in the show criticized the way she is. Everyone in the show has made mistakes (Grunkle Stan commits crimes practically every episode ffs) but because Mabel is a 12 year old girl and acts like it, she gets the most hate. Mabel deserves to be loved 🩷
----
girl gets so much flack for being... immature and kind of selfish at age 12? like she had whole video essays made on why she is a horrible person who deserves punishment. god forbid girls be silly
----
!!! Spoilers for Gravity Falls last 5 episodes !!!
This has gone down a lot but when the Weirdmaggedon arc was happening, the finale of the series, a big part of the fandom started hating Mabel because she accidentally caused the Weirdmaggedon (basically an apocalypse + bizarre shit like the water tower becoming an eight-legged monster with a giant mouth).
For context, in the episode that starts this arc, "Dipper and Mabel vs The Future", Mabel is really excited to the end of their summer vacation at Grunkle Stan's house, since it will be her and Dipper's 13th birthday and they will enter high school (her idea of high school of course coming from teen movies). But then this whole idea starts to shatter when Wendy tells her that high school isn't like a Disney musical, but it's okay, she will get through this since she will be with Dipper, her twin brother...
Except, that Dipper receives an invitation by Grunkle Stan's scientist brother Ford to become his apprentice after summer ends, staying in Gravity Falls, without Mabel. When she discovers it, she gets really mad at him and in a fit of rage, she accidentally picks Dipper's bag instead of hers and runs off to the woods.
When she gets there, Blendin, a time-travelling friend of theirs finds her and tells her that he has a way of making her brother stay with her, and make the summer take a little more to end, and that he just needed a little thing that Dipper has in his bag. That thing is a dimensional rift that Dipper and Ford contained to not cause the Weirdmaggedon, but Mabel didn't knew about that and gives it to Blendin. Blendin then breaks it and it's revealed that Bill Cipher was controlling Blendin to get the rift and release the Weirdmaggedon. He then traps Mabel in a bubble, starting the final arc of the series.
So, a few episodes later, that bubble she's in is revealed to be a world of fantasy that she controls, and that she didn't want to leave that world, as she was scared of growing up etc.
Context given, A LOT OF PEOPLE HATED HER FOR THIS. Suddenly people started seeing Mabel as just a selfish girl who wanted things only her way, when she was only a 12-year-old scared of growing up without her twin brother (they do end up going back together at the end but still).
The worst part is that apparently the people behind it took note of this, and on the comics that where released after the finale, she is a selfish spoiled brat. I haven't read the comics though so I'm going off what some people said about it.

Loser Round 6: Maria Ushiromiya (Umineko: When They Cry) vs. Ken Amada (Persona 3)
Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut:
Maria Ushiromiya (9):
She's really obsessed with occult and witch stuff and acts inappropriately when her family gets murdered because she was told by the culprit that everyone was going to the Golden Land (a super special witch afterlife where you get whatever you want). She also has meltdowns like any autistic child. Because of this, some Umineko fans say that she deserves to get abused by her mother.
----
People really do be saying that this literal nine year old who's been abused and neglected by her mom for her whole life is evil
----
Some people in the Umineko fandom have decided that she's annoying because she's a 9 year old with autism. Personally I think she's based. She has a hard life but still tries her hardest to see the goodness in everything. She's kind, even feeling sorry for a wilting flower and hoping it'll get better. She's a very smart young girl who just isn't given the proper love a child needs from their parents to thrive. She deserved SO, SO much better than the cards life dealt her. I mustn't talk too much else I'll get emotional but Maria is peak.Best autistic witch girl.

Round 3: Mary (Ib) vs. Ken Amada (Persona 3)
Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut
Mary (~9):
A painting of a girl who was brought to life and wants to become a real girl and make friends :) like pinocchio but slightly more murderous. She can only become real if one of the two real people in her world dies first so she can take their place. In certain endings of the game, she chooses to kill the adult Garry so she and the child protagonist Ib can live together forever in the real world- which of course, means she's the most evil creature in existence and should literally be burned alive, according to the fandom.
