Sepratism isn't hard to idealise

Growing up in segregated societies made it easier for us to focus on self & avoid men (their intent was to control us ,religious based segregation)

Our exposure to males was limited

at most we were exposed to racism ,internal misogyny from women, inaccessibility

It might not structurally possible at the moment to gain sepration

But independence in many areas of life is possible

•Female only staff &wards in hospitals

•All girls schools with female staff

•Female only transport driven by females

•Parks & malls reserved for women

•Restaurants having separate section

•Workspaces having different sections for women & men

•Women only beaches

•Museums, monuments could have seprate timings for different sexes

This all is possible & is already been done in many parts of the world partially

No mean fucking No. Why is this such a hard concept? Another TL;DR post. I am rarely hit on when I go out. I don't expect to be since I'm not stereotypically considered good-looking. But when it happens, it's usually a bit more aggressive than is necessary. I go to karaoke almost every Thursday night if I can. It's sometimes my one day a week to socialize with friends beyond visiting them at their day jobs and support my friend as DJ. It's my time to enjoy people's company and sing. The past couple weeks I've had this one man consistently show up, offering to buy my drinks, sing a song together, etc. Usually I just kind of laugh it off, take the drinks but not drink them, and so on. However, he started getting pushy in his actions. Constantly asking if I'd kiss him, what my number is, would I hang out after karaoke, am I gonna come to his birthday in a few weeks. At first, I would say the whole "no", "I've got a boyfriend", "I don't appreciate that". He doesn't get it. Keeps asking me to ask my boyfriend for permission, that I'm his type, so on. Last night, he showed up again and was making me incredibly uncomfortable to the point my friend had to enact "girl code" and play my partner. But even that wasn't deterring him. HAVING ANOTHER GIRL SAY NO WAS NOT STOPPING HIM. He then started asking if we'd kiss each other or if both of us would kiss him. I left karaoke much earlier than normal because I was unnerved and didn't feel safe. And he got mad that I was leaving before he went on stage to sing! "I picked this song for you, you won't even stick around?" I'm quite possibly going to stop going because I don't feel safe anymore. I'm not comfortable with the position I'm put in while there.
