i feel we don’t talk enough about the very specific type of misogyny that promotes this belief that women are inherently more cold, callous, angry, passive aggressive, serious & unfunny than men are. of course, the patriarchy’s “perfect model” of a woman is one that never speaks her mind, is soft, nurturing, gentle & subservient– and biological/gender essentialists often use those characteristics to claim women inherently & intrinsically posses them– but we also have to keep in mind that biological/gender essentialists very much also believe women to be hysterical & illogical– and while this does oftentimes manifest in a, “men are more serious, rational & cold than women are” way, it also does a lot of times manifest in a, “men are just more chill, women are unable to joke & get offended all the time because they’re so cold & callous & hysterical and just too much drama” way. we need to stop promoting this idea of men being Cool Funky Lil Dudes™. what if women also just want to be cool & chill & funny… hm. what will you do then? this shit also manifests in professional fields, specifically the teacher position– female teachers get shit on so much, get called overly strict & cold– when they literally have to be that way, lest they risk being underestimated & mocked by their own students. lets appreciate our female teachers more. they deserve a huge pat on the back.

my fav teacher gave me a magazine yesterday cus there was an article on there that she thought I'd like and i got home today and i hadn't looked at it yet so i did that about 15 minutes ago

The magazine had one of those stickers on where it says the adress and full name and stuff,,,

Hi :D Welcome!

This is my tc blog (*´ω｀*) hehehe

I’ll post abt more than only one TC here but there will be 2 of them who I’ll post most about. I will address them ‘T’ and ‘E’ (both he/him). And the third one… I’ll address her as ‘O’.

But now more abt me:

fav. subject is mathematics ( it’s such a hate love)

I’m a bit shy can be quite bold tho ( at least I was told so 🤔🤷‍♀️)

I love cats but dogs are nice too

About my tc’s:

T: He has been my Math teacher for the last 2 years. Before that he was my teach in another course (something like computer class)

He’s just a silly 42+ yr old baby girl who is a joy to be around. Can be such a b*tch as well.

Totally dislikes my class ( 9th grade was a rollercoaster, 10th grade started on bad terms and ended pretty good probably gave up on the class)

Z: He has been my Math tutor since I was in 9th grade. (one for like extra lessons for those who need it)

Before that I already knew him since I was in 6th grade where I occasionally saw him.

I see him as a father figure and he has been a great support throughout the last 2 school years.

He is the perfect person to go to if I need someone to cheer me up.

And I guess his humor has rubbed off on me. Now I even laugh at T’s bad jokes since Z always says horrible jokes ( I think they are hilarious 😂).

His age ? Actually no idea 🤷‍♀️ he always says 26 or so as a joke but 50+/60+ is more realistic since he has retired as a teacher.

O: She will be my Physics teacher and home room teacher the upcoming school years. At my school it’s called a tutor ( not the same as Z )

I had her for a short time as a substitute once in 9th grade and that was my best time in physics ngl (didn’t like my current teach).

She is a very kind and understanding teach even though she can be easily agitated during lessons

But outside of her lessons she is always happy to help even offered me help once <3
