Arjuni: The Kuru Princess
Arjuni's name resounded in every corner of Aryabhart, celebrated for her fierceness, bravery, kindness, and unmatched skills. She embodied Vibhatsu and Karuna, destruction intertwined with kindness. Feared yet beloved, she was the cherished princess, the very soul of the realm. To her family, she was the epitome of joy, adored by siblings and cousins alike. Legends whispered that her presence alone illuminated every space with laughter and vitality. Though quiet and serene, her mere existence filled hearts with pride and joy.
The Pandavas and Kauravas shared a profound sibling bond, despite their playful quarrels, especially between Bhima and Duryodhana. They revered, cherished, and respected each other deeply. It was a known truth throughout the realm that any harm directed towards the Pandavas would invoke the fierce protection of the Kauravas, and vice versa. Above all, to incur the wrath of the Kuru Princess, Arjuni, was to invite unimaginable consequences.
The Pandavas were not merely ordinary princes and princesses; they were the divine blessings bestowed through unwavering devotion and penance.
Though Arjuni harbored equal love for all her siblings and cousins, her affection, devotion, and reverence towards Karna, the eldest of the Pandavas, surpassed imagination. Karna, born to Kunti through the blessings of Suryadev during her maidenhood, held a unique place in her heart. Before her marriage to Pandu, the prince of Hastinapur, she disclosed the truth about her eldest son, fearing rejection from her beloved upon learning the truth. Yet, Pandu, a man of profound kindness and love, embraced Karna as his own, regarding him as his eldest with unwavering affection.
Karna, despite harboring love for all his siblings and cousins, adored and loved Arjuni a bit more than the others. He was almost sixteen when Arjuni was born, and from the moment he held the little princess in his arms, she had wrapped her eldest brother around her tiny fingers. Karna was Arjuni's rock and shoulder, and she was his in return. They could understand each other without needing words, representing a sibling bond that ran incredibly deep. Even when Karna was breaking down in grief after losing their father Pandu, little Arjuni provided him a shoulder to cry on, even though her own heart was breaking into pieces due to the loss of their father.
Arjuni revered Karna like a second father and followed him like a devoted cub. Being the eldest in the dynasty, he was the first to complete his education in warfare and politics. He introduced Arjuni to archery, a technique of warfare that never failed to amaze the little princess, whenever Karna was performing simple or intricate tricks for his young protégé. Karna was the one who taught Arjuni the basics of archery whenever he returned home from the gurukul.
While many credited Dronacharya for teaching Arjuni archery—an assertion that holds true, as Guru Dronacharya indeed imparted significant knowledge—it is undeniable that Karna was the one who planted the seed of passion for archery in the heart of the princess.
Not only Karna, but Arjuni was a favorite of all the Kuru men; she was the apple of their eyes. Pampered and doted upon, she sometimes felt embarrassed by their indulgence. Whenever her cousins and siblings went to town or on diplomatic missions, they would bring her sweets, jewelry, and trinkets. Every time her grandsire Bhishma saw her, he would take her on adventures and shower her with gifts. She was the only one who read stories, books, and poetry daily to her blind uncle, King Dhritarashtra, who in return would recount tales of her father Pandu's childhood. Her uncle Vidura would regale her with stories about myths and histories, a subject that deeply fascinated the young princess.
It wasn't just the Kuru men who adored her; the Kuru women loved and cherished her as well. Her mother, Kunti, and aunt Gandhari would always cook delicious meals for her whenever she desired. Dushala, her partner in crime, shared a deep bond of friendship with her. Though Dushala was a bit older, the two, being roughly the same age, were inseparable. They would often visit the town together, mingling with the common people of the realm, earning Arjuni the affectionate title of "People's Princess."
The only one who didn't like her, or any of the Pandavas in general, was Gandhar Raj Shakuni, the brother of Gandhari and the maternal uncle of the Kauravas. He was a vicious and hatred-filled man, who harbored deep animosity towards the Kuru dynasty. Shakuni always sought to manipulate the Kauravas against their cousins and create a rift between them. However, as we know, blood matters and blood runs deep; their familial ties of kinship ran so profoundly that even the gods above couldn't separate the two sets of cousins.
Shakuni especially blamed Arjuni because both sets of princes adored her the most, making her the link that united the two groups. One day, he went as far as to poison the young princess, but was captured in the process by none other than his own nephews, Duryodhana and Dushashana. They were livid when they discovered his intentions and literally dragged the crippled man to the court, throwing him in front of the others. They relayed his cruel and monstrous intentions to the king and the court, inciting great anger, especially among the princes. The princes had to be physically restrained by the guards on the order of Arjuni herself, preventing them from killing the evil man then and there.
Shakuni was found guilty by the sabha. He sought help from his sister, but she denied him, overwhelmed with shame that such an evil man was her brother. Shakuni was executed in the palace courtyard a day after his trial. His execution was attended by most citizens of the realm, who wanted to witness the death of the malevolent creature who had attempted to poison their beloved princess.
Before his execution, Shakuni was tortured by the Kuru princes, with Karna taking a particularly active role. Karna used various poisonous arrows to torment him and shatter his egoistic mind. Ultimately, Shakuni was beheaded by his nephew, thereby establishing the principle that any harm against their cherished princess would inevitably result in the perpetrator's death.
As years passed, the bond between the Kauravas and Pandavas not only remained steadfast but grew even deeper. The princes and princess were rigorously trained in politics and the arts of warfare. They were formidable with weapons in their hands, but none were as lethal and proficient as Arjuni. She mastered all forms of warfare at a young age, especially excelling in archery. Her bow and arrows became an extension of her body. She was called Savyasachi, the only one in the entire realm—and the world—who could shoot arrows with both hands.
Arjuni was feared for her intelligence and unparalleled skills. She and her eldest brother, Karna, were exceptional in archery, so brilliant that even the divine gods were awestruck by their prowess. They were absolute war machines; the sound of their bows struck terror into the hearts of their enemies. It was well known that to face either of them in battle was tantamount to a death sentence.
As Arjuni grew, she married Draupadi, the fireborn princess of Panchala, by winning her hand at her swayamvar. They became the first women ever to marry each other in the realm. Their union was opposed by some narrow-minded individuals, but neither Arjuni nor Draupadi, nor their families, cared about their opinions.
A year passed, and one day Maharishi Ved Vyasa advised the Kuru family to arrange another swayamvar for Arjuni, as her destiny ('bhagya') dictated that she was to marry two individuals. According to Vyasa, her union with these two would change the course of Aryavarta's history. This suggestion initially met with resistance from Arjuni, but after a deep conversation with her wife Draupadi, she was ultimately persuaded.
With Arjuni's and Draupadi's consent, preparations for the swayamvar began. However, her siblings—Karna, Yudhishthira, Bhima, Nakula, and Sahadeva—as well as her cousins, were reluctant to let her go. Arjuni managed to reassure them by saying they could threaten her future husband if needed and that she would spend most of her time with them, which alleviated their concerns.
The swayamvar was finally arranged, and princes and even princesses from far and wide came to take part in the challenge, hoping to win the heart of the Kuru Princess. The challenge was to string a bow that once belonged to Lord Vishnu himself. Each contestant tried but failed to even lift the bow. They were astonished that Arjuni could lift it effortlessly, as she had brought the bow to the tournament and placed it in the middle of the courtyard.
No one knew that Arjuni's ease in lifting the bow was because she was the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, and Goddess Parvati—the Tridevi. Previously, she was Naari, the consort of Narayana, and a partial incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself, in addition to being the daughter of Indra.
Suddenly, the arena fell silent as someone entered. Everyone turned to see who it was, and they were shocked. The person had a dark complexion, shoulder-length black hair, a brilliant smile, and a divine aura. The most enchanting feature was his multihued eyes, which seemed to contain entire galaxies. It was none other than Mathura's dear prince, Vasudev Krishna.
Krishna was, like Arjuni, both feared and beloved in the realm. He was the incarnation of Vishnu himself, and his tales were famous even in the remotest corners of the land.
Arjuni, upon seeing the dark-complexioned prince, felt an unknown magnetic force pulling her towards him. Her eyes met his, and suddenly a miracle occurred. She saw behind him a silvery outline of Lord Vishnu, surrounded by a radiant glow. At the same time, Krishna saw faint outlines of Devi Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Parvati behind Arjuni, enveloped in a soft pinkish light. Their eyes met again, and they nodded softly to each other. Krishna's dazzling smile made Arjuni blush, causing Draupadi to nudge her wife with a teasing grin.
Krishna was Draupadi's best friend, and she knew he was the best person to trust for Arjuni to marry. Although Draupadi had said she was okay with Arjuni marrying again, she harbored an irrational fear that the new spouse might try to disrupt their union. This fear had troubled her, but seeing Krishna there, she was able to let go of those worries.
Krishna stepped up to the bow with a calm and serene demeanor , he first did a pranam to the elders and everyone present there and then with effortless grace, he lifted the bow of Vishnu, stunning the crowd into silence. He strung it with ease, demonstrating his unparalleled strength and divine favor. The bow sang as he drew it back, a melody of power and grace that echoed through the courtyard.
Arjuni's heart swelled with admiration and joy. Krishna, with his divine aura and unmatched skill, had proven himself worthy. The crowd erupted in applause and cheers, acknowledging the new victor, and even the kuru family celebrated in happiness as they knew Krishna would protect arjuni with his life, even though arjuni didn't need any protection but still.
Draupadi, watching from the arjuni's side, felt a wave of relief wash over her. The fears she had harbored about losing her bond with Arjuni faded away, replaced by a sense of certainty and trust. She gave a teasing nudge again to her wife who blushed but still had a beautiful and dazzling smile on her face.
Krishna approached Arjuni, his smile dazzling. Arjuni could see her mother, wife and sister giving her teasing smiles but she just mock glared at them making them giggle. Gandhari was also chuckling softly when kunti relayed arjuni's blushing to her. Arjuni slowly placed the garland around Krishna's neck while the crowd erupted into cheers. Krishna slowly took Arjuni's hand, and they stood together before the assembly, their divine connection clear for all to see.
"With the blessings of the gods," Krishna began, his voice resonating with warmth and promise"I vow to honor and cherish Arjuni, as we unite not just in marriage but in purpose and destiny." Arjuni gave him a wide dazzling smile in return of his words. The kuru family could feel that Arjuni and Krishna's marriage was not just a bond of love but a union that would shape the future of Aryavarta.
As the feasting began, Arjuni's cousins and siblings took Krishna aside to deliver a threatening speech that even made the great lord feel a tad bit nervous. Arjuni and Draupadi, who stood by his side, laughed heartily at the sight of the protective group. Karna was particularly detailed about the tortures he would enforce if Krishna ever dared to hurt his sister, while the rest agreed vehemently. Krishna reached forward and held Karna's palm, promising them all that he would sooner die than make Arjuni cry. This heartfelt promise relieved the group of cousins, and Arjuni blushed a deep shade of red, prompting Draupadi to offer her a teasing nudge.
After the brothers went away, Arjuni and Draupadi began teasing Krishna, noting how even the lord himself had been intimidated by the protective siblings. Krishna pouted sweetly, and Draupadi and Arjuni pinched his cheeks while laughing merrily.
That evening, wedding arrangements were made for Krishna and Arjuni. They performed the pheras together, and Krishna placed the churamani on Arjuni's head, making her smile softly and deepening their divine bond. Arjuni also renewed her vows with Draupadi, forging a soulmate bond among the three.
They knew that their journey together would be one of great adventures and profound connections, a path illuminated by divine guidance and unwavering love.
Even today, millennia later, the citizens of Aryavarta, modern-day India, when regaled with the tales of the illustrious Kuru Kingdom, invariably recall the profound familial bond shared between the two factions of cousins, the preeminent warrior of that era, Arjuni, and the profound love she shared with her consorts, Krishna and Draupadi. Together, the triumvirate of Krishnas indeed altered the trajectory of Aryavarta, transforming it into a realm where harmony prevailed, and each individual was accorded equitable respect.
@aru-loves-krishnaxarjuna this for you! I hope you'll like this! This is the first time I am writing a story like this and posting here on Tumblr lol, so I am a bit nervous haha

Hey Avani! For the Compass Rose Meme could I please have Subhadra and Draupadi please? Their relationship is fascinating and I would love to see your take on it :D x
North
first encounter | (turnabout is) fair play | fool’s gold | forbidden fruit | the female of the species is more deadly than the male
Her first reaction is not jealousy, though some would suppose it so: she might as well envy Krishna’s affection and Arjuna’s love, for Draupadi has a share equal to Subhadra’s of both.
It’s just–Subhadra seems so young, so untouched by sorrow, so unaccustomed to the strain of politics and familial legacy. Draupadi is grateful for this, but at times–Well.
Draupadi thinks of smiles hiding silent judgment, and Subhadra only grins back at anyone who looks her way.
Draupadi sits at the sacrifice, and Subhadra scurries and plays with the children.
Draupadi reads another letter detailing her father’s anger, and Subhadra, when she hears from her brothers, hears only of their love and blessings for her.
She thinks so, in a very few unguarded moments, but the ears of the gods are always open: when she looks upon Subhadra mourning her son with a grief Draupadi hopes never to share, she knows how foolish she had been to covet her sister’s good cheer.
South
(cold) comfort | confession | cloak and dagger |  crocodile tears | charmed life
The palace of Indraprastha is designed for pleasure of every manner; one only has to think of a desire before it is fulfilled. So it should be; so it shall, if Draupadi has anything to say about it.
She settles against her cushions, content. “Who could wish,” she asks Subhadra, “for more than this?”
Subhadra bites her lip; too late Draupadi remembers she has developed simpler tastes growing up in Dwaraka. “Who indeed?” she ventures, however; as bravely as possible, as though looking ahead not at her sister wife, but at some yet-unnamed disaster.
East
stars | songs and stories | (politics/misery makes for) strange bedfellows | silver lining | sea change
“They tell stories of you,” reports Subhadra with no little glee, and Draupadi looks up.
“They have done so since I can remember,” she reminds her sister wife. “I am accustomed to it.”
Subhadra shakes her head, her smile still wide and wicked. “Not these,” she says. “I hear you are blessed to regain your virginity at the end of each year–a gift given to few.”
Draupadi’s eyes go wide. “Oh,” is all she can manage once she regains her composure. “How…how unpleasant.” Then, because Subhadra seems entirely too inclined to shameless mirth, asks: “And what do they say of you?”
Again Subhadra shakes her head, but this time giggles escape her. “Nothing at all, I fear. There can only be one legendary woman in this lineage, after all, and I, my sister, am happy to let it be you.”
West
just in time | joined at the hip | jam tomorrow | juvenile | journey’s end
They are often found together these days: true, they had been friends earlier, and fond enough of the other’s company, but now grief binds them irrevocably. Parikshit has two grandmothers, equally stern and equally indulgent, both equally bent on his ability to rule his kingdom once he inherits it.
They speak of their sons only once. Draupadi looks up with pride as Parikshit finishes composing his first state correspondence, and remarks: “He would say his death was worth it to win us this day, would he not?”
Subhadra’s lips twitch; her eyes remain dry. “So too would my other five sons protest,” she replies, “and they would all of them be mistaken.”
Draupadi takes her hand in silent agreement.

In this universe the battle of Kurukshetra never happens. Pandavas along with Arjuni are married to Draupadi, whereas Arjuni is also married to Krishna.
Being a woman, Arjuni was always criticised and underestimated by her own family members, especially her so called cousins known as the Kauravas, even though she was the best student of Dronacharya and the best Archer in the whole Aryavart.
Hastinapur is faced with a war from the enemy kingdom, Magadha. The Kauravas and Pandavas, forced to work together, were discussing in the court of Hastinapur. Arjuni, being the brilliant strategist she is, tries to put forth her ideas but is put down by Duryodhan.
"Just listen to me once—" She tries again.
"Oh just stop it, dear cousin! You are a woman. Go work in the kitchens or something. This is not your cup of tea! We are men and better than you!" Duryodhan, the evil git, spats out. He even convinces his father, the blind fool Dhritarashtra. "Pitashree! Tell Arjuni that she is not allowed to participate in the war! Women are not made for fighting! They are only good with dancing, cooking and the other womenly talents and nothing else!"
"Of course, Putra, of course! You are right! Putri Arjuni, please do understand. You should not participate in this war." Arjuni scoffed in anger. She glanced at her brothers, who just looked the other way. She seethed at rage. How dare they talk this way about them and underestimate them WOMEN!? That enraged her.
Duryodhan smirked at her. As Bheem sensed his sister's anger, he reached his hands towards her, only for his hand to be smacked away.
Tumblr media
"Don't come crawling back to me then, Bhrata Duryodhan!" She said, her voice laced with poisonous venom. Arjuni turned away and stormed out of the Sabha, angrily.
Tumblr media
The Pandavas regretted their decision of staying quiet. They just made their sister angry at ALL the men in the court, except for maybe her husband. As Nakul was about to follow, Draupadi was faster and she rushed behind her beloved wife. Krishna gave a disapproved look at Yudhishthir and followed behind his Sakhi, Yudhishthir sulking under his brother-in-law's gaze.
Both Krishna and Draupadi rushed to Arjuni's room. Arjuni had punched a mirror, whose shards dug into her hand but she didn't care. Her right hand was bleeding profusely.
"Aryaputri!" Draupadi yelled, tensed. Arjuni stopped with her rage and turned around slowly with anger written all over her face. Draupadi rushed forward and started to pull the mirror shards out of Arjuni's right arm and hand. "...i am alright, Drau."
"You are not alright, Parthavi. Both of us can sense it. Please stop hiding your true emotions, when with us atleast. Calm your anger down, priye, because we don't want to an angry Mahakali to destroy Hastinapur, now do we?" Krishna joked to calm his wife down, which seemed to work. Both the 'Krishnaa's laughed heartily as Kanha smiled goofily.
"I sense something is going to happen and you might have to go to the war, Priye Parthavi." Krishna said again. "Mhm...maybe. But i will never forgive them for belittling us women. Do they not understand..."
"Settle down, Aryaputri." Told Draupadi as she tied a cloth coated with medicine around Arjuni's arm for the wounds to heal. "As Govind said, you might have to go to the war. I mean, no one is a better warrior than you in our kingdom, not even Angaraj. Trust us." Agnisutaa soothed her. Savyasachi finally calmed down and gave a smile to the other two people, who blushed at her charming, pleasant smile.
---------------
As the Kuru heirs got ready for the war, Arjuni just stood there as they took their blessings. Nakul and Sahadev as well as some of the Kauravas, who saw her as their second mother and teacher, apologised and took her blessings. Arjuni being Karunamayi, blessed and forgave them as they didn't have any other choice other than to listen to their older brothers.
She watched as her brothers and cousins left for the war on their horses.
Soon in the evening, she recieved the news of all the Kuru princes being held hostage by the Magadha Raj Jarasandha and Vanraj Putra Ekalavya. Arjuni didn't even bother to do anything or show any emotion as she just walked away gracefully, ignoring all the stares and calls for her. Later, when she was alone, Dhritarashtra himself visited her and begged her to help his sons and her brothers. "Putri! Please heed this request of your tatshree! Please save them and assist them!"
Arjuni scoffed. "Oh please, tatshree! Women are not meant on the battlefield, like you said! Right? That will hurt their male ego if i go there! When they are so egoistic, they should help themselves without my help." She said no more and ignored and her uncle.
But Arjuni being her Karunamayi self, couldn't let her brothers and by default her cousins be hurt or killed, so she decided to go and prepare for war for the following day.
"Madhav, what should i do? I can not even let them get hurt as their sister, but they did so many hurtful things to me. I can not even decide..." Vijayaa exasperated. Shyamsundara put his hand on his wife's shoulder. "Don't you worry, Parthavi. I will be your charioteer, and charioteers are meant to show you the right path. I won't take any declination as an answer!" He said, smug. And she was forced to agree.
--------
Gandivdhari left with her deadly bow, with Krishna as her charioteer. Upon reaching, she immediately starts firing thousands of arrows, destroying half of the Magadha forces. As she performed her dance of Destruction on the battlefield, she faced Ekalavya. Arjuni's trauma from Ekalavya's cut off thumb all those years ago came back. Vijayaa and Ekalavya kept firing deadly arrows with dealier accuracy at each other.
As she tensed, she was enveloped with sweet, flute melodies. It was not seeming like Ekalavya could hear them, so why was she....
Then it clicked. Muralimanohar was doing that!
She smiled at her husband, who smiled back.
Savyasachi then did something which no one could think of. She created an expanse of ice mirrors all around her opponent, who looked here and there, alarmed, as Savyasachi's reflection appeared in all of those mirrors, and she looked more and more deadly in each of them.
As Ekalavya stammered with his movements, Arjuni from who knows where appeared behind him. When Ekalavya turned to face her, she had already bind him with powerful paranormal ropes, and he hadn't even noticed. He then faced a powerful punch in his gut, resulting in him coughing out blood and falling unconscious.
-------------
Arjuni arrived where her cousins and brothers were held hostage, and with quick fluid movements, made each and every soldier on gaurd unconscious. She kicked down the jail gate.
"Arjuni?"
"Jyeshtaa!"
"You!—"
"Shut the hell up and follow me without making any sound. Or else we all will be in trouble." Arjuni said emotionlessly as she freed everyone from their binds.
With her help and guidance, Jarasandha was defeated that day and killed. His body was tore open by Bheem and thrown in two opposite directions, resulting in Jarasandha's death.
------------
From that day onwards, no one belittled her or any other woman and always took her help, with almost everything.
The most shocking was Duryodhan's apology and ask for help from her.
"Hey..uh— Arjuni. I came here to apologise from you. I also need a little help—" as Duryodhan looked at his cousin's face, and was met with a gobsmacked expression on her attractive, bewitching face.
Arjuni checked if she was sick or if Duryodhan was ill by checking his forehead's temperature. She then rubbed her eyes and shook her head, not believing the sight infront of her. She then checked if her ears were working properly or not.
All the while Duryodhan looked embarrassed and Krishna and Draupadi were dying from laughing so much. Yajnaseni nearly fell from her place and Keshav have to support his Sakhi while clutching his hurting stomach from laughing so much. Yudhishthir was chuckling and Bheem was laughing merrily. Even the Kauravas laughed at their brother's poor state.
That was one of the most happiest and pleasant sights the castle had ever witnessed.

Krishna had a foreboding of some upcoming tragedy that'll happen to Arjuni. He just knows that something will happen but he doesn't know why and how and when. He tries to keep Arjuni safe but something does happens and tragedy struck. Even though he's the Lord of the Universe, he isn't able to do anything in the end to save his dear wife because sometimes somethings are not in your hands even though you're the creator cause destiny can change anyday...
Krishna had to leave before the day of the Dyut Sabha as he had to fight a battle with the Chedi Raj, Shishupal, and so he had left.
-------------------------------------------------------
Shakuni's oily laughter could be heard all around the Dyut Sabha, as soon Draupadi was dragged in and thrown on the floor. The evil laughter which came from the mouth of DhritarashtraPutras caused a ringing sound in the ears of the Pandavas, who sat as slaves, shedding tears. Draupadi was bleeding from various places in her limbs and face, though those were injuries were not so deep.
Soon came another, loud scream. The scream of pure pain and fear. It was a female's voice. Duryodhan laughed again. And soon, Arjuni was dragged in too, and was thrown beside Draupadi by Dushalan. Arjuni was harboring major bruises and cuts on her beautiful face, stab wounds on her arms and more wounds on her shoulders, bleeding heavily.
Arjuni refused to cry. She gritted her teeth and glared at Yudhishthir, who sunk under her gaze.
Then came the evil laughter of Duryodhan again. "Oh ho! So the mighty Gandivdhari has finally been defeated, eh? Tell me, my brothers, who should we disrobe first? The haughty empress or the oh so mighty Vijayaa?" He scoffed. "Alright then, i would give you a choice, Gandivdhari. Who should go first? You...or your wife?" The Kauravas laughed again.
Arjuni sat at the foot of the stairs, her body moving with each painful breath she took. She glanced at Draupadi and then back at Duryodhan, unsure of what to do.
Losing his patience, Dusshasan stormed upto Draupadi and dragged her on her feet by pulling her up by her hand, who tried to reciprocate. Dusshasan continued pulling her.
"Nahi!"Came Arjuni's shout as she broke the physical contact between the two. Arjuni stood protectively infront of Draupadi. "D-don't do anything to Panchali! I-i sacrifice myself! D-don't do anything to her!" Arjuni spoke between panting. She was tired from all the manhandling done to her.
"No Aryaputri! Y-you don't have to do this!" But Arjuni didn't listen.
Dusshasan grinned manically as he grabbed Arjuni's hair and pulled her, throwing her on the ground once more. He pulled her up again. Duryodhan laughed, enjoying what was happening. So did the Kauravas and Shakuni.
"Why are you all so silent!? Are your so called Dharma failing you now!? What about your virtues? The quiet of a saint is as much of a sin as the words of a sinner! What happened to you all now!?" But her voice fell to deaf ears.
The Kuru elders looked away, ashamed. No one was even trying to say anything.
Dursaha got up and smirked. He stormed upto the woman and grabbed her waist from behind, convering her mouth with his other hand. The helpless woman tried to shout, yet her sounds came muffled. She was being groped by her own cousins. She was being sexually harrased…
As Dursaha finally detached his arms from Arjuni's body, the hem of her saree was pulled by Dusshasan, while Duryodhan and the rest of his brothers were laughing as if watching a show of entertainment. Tears accumulated the eyes of the Tritiya Pandava, as she was grabbed from the behind again. She felt hands snake up on her neck and below her chest. Why were they doing this to her…
When she failed to pull her saree, she was forced to spin and cover her chest, as she bent down on the ground, to prevent further pulling.
"Putra Duryodhan, stop it!"
"Stop this at once!"
"This is Adharma, Putra!"
"Duryodhan! I am warning you!"
But all they did was scream and shout, yet no one even moved a finger to stop it.
But the pulling did stop, yet the silent sobs of the Gudhakeshaa started, as well as the humiliating taunts.
"Ha ha! Look at that posture! I am sure she would enjoy my treatment!"
"Oh look! The mighty Gandivdhari has fallen!"
"Just look at her!"
"Ha ha ha!!"
"Look at her body! Oh ho ho! Now that she's a slave i would call her everyday to give me a treat!"
"Aww what happened to the warrior princess? Looks like you weren't so strong after all!"
"Pfft! Does she have any self-dignity or any dignity right now? I think not."
"Hahahahha!"
All these comments hurt, but Arjuni didn't do anything as she got up slowly, falling mid way multiple time due to the pain she was bearing.
But then...
"I doubt Vasudev even loves this whore right here. I mean, his dignity comes in question due to her."
"Poor Vasudev. Having to bear such a humiliation in his face everyday."
"Are you sure this bitch didn't lure Krishna into her trap and got him to marry her?"
"Hmm, maybe she did do that."
"His divinity is being tainted because of her."
"Indeed. He doesn't deserve this worthless peice of shit!"
'What....?' Arjuni finally got up. Her being insecure also didn't help what her thoughts. 'No...they can not insult him so..!" But she kept quiet as her voice was not able to come out physically.
"Vasudev should be so ashamed to have her as his wife." Her eyes widened.
"I mean, he is right if he is." She looked down.
"Being with a wife like her...Vasudev is not so holy as he was before marrying this wretch, now."
"I know right? His holiness is in question because of her." Those statements snapped something inside of her like...like her heart had shattered and half her soul had been destroyed...
"ENOUGH!" Finally came the shout of Vijayaa. "You sexually assaulted me, I kept quiet... You humiliated and insulted me, i stayed quiet...but..." Her hair started flowing. "...But you can not insult my Madhav...i won't bear it! I would rather die than to watch him being him insulted!" She spat out, and looked at the whole court, as angry tears made their way again down her face through her silver-cyan eyes.
She gave a small smile, and stood while positioning her hands in a pranam, and closed her eyes. "This whole court...as this whole court is the witness of the humiliation of Indraputri… now this court shall be the witness of her death as well…because she cannot bear her husband's insults or anything at all anymore..." Kunti and Gandhari had came in just then, and heard what the Rajkumari had announced so softly yet so tiredly.
Kunti shook her head, horrified, as she made her way through the door...or tried to...but before she could....
Savyasachi started glowing from the inside for some unknown reason, as electricity coursed through her veins. The course of electricity was visible to everyone.
"Don't, Arju!"
"Please Behena! D-don't die on us!"
"Arjuni di!"
"Jyeshthaa!"
All the calls of the Pandavas fell useless as their sister didn't listen.
As electricity coursed through the veins of Vijayaa, five circles of fire had appeared on the ground around her, as if giving her the energy to kill herself...as soon as the glowing lightning in her in body stopped, she started bleeding through her mouth and cried blood (bleeding through her eyes). The hem of her saree had started to burn first. For the last time, a tranquil smile made way on her face as her body fell limp, her palms still joined yet softer than before, and she fell to the ground, with her saree still burning. She had fell like but a marionette let loose of its strings...
The whole court had been the witness of her death and no one had even tried to stop it...
Draupadi, being the Agnisutaa, the Yajnaseni, was not affected by the circles of fire as she made her way towards her wife, slowly, still not believing the sight in front of her.
Not only her, no...The whole court was too shocked to even say anything. All of it happened so sudden....even the evil Kauravas and the deciever Shakuni were shocked to the core...they hadn't expected...this…
Yojnagandha cradled her dead wife's head on her lap, and cried heavily....
The Pandavas are devastated, the Kauravas are still not believing what happened, Bhishma, Vidur and Drona were overcame by regret and tears accumulated their eyes again, and Karna, not knowing the truth, was also horrified, as if some part of his heart was breaking.
Somewhere in a battlefield, midst battle, Dwarkadhish felt immense pain throughout his body, as if...as if half of his soul had died...
Soul...
Half of his...
...soul...
Half...
Of his...
Parthavi...
His first thought was his wife, his Parthavi. "Baldau...i think that... it is coming true..." Krishna somehow managed through the immense pain. Balaram, still fighting, snapped his head towards his younger brother. Tensed, Balabhadra nods at his anuj, signalling him to go and that he would manage. Krishna nodded back, anxious, and dissappeared from there with a snap of his fingers.
As Devakinandan appeared near the entrance of the Court, he was met with Draupadi's screaming and everyone's horrified faces. Then his multihued eyes fell on his wife, who was lying on the ground, dead.
His foreboding had come true...
Kanha couldn't belive his eyes...
He had thought, that maybe it was a mistake on his part and nothing will happen to Arjuni, that they had more time with them...
He took slow steps towards the two women, and his knees gave out as he fell down beside his dead wife. "...Parthavi? Please...wake up...Priye...?" He gently shook his wife's body, still not believing that she died. "O' Gudhakeshaa...y-you never do this...you are never asleep for even a minute, what happened now...? Please...Parthavi..?" Krishna whispered, broken. He first whisperrd, and then those whispers gradually turnrd into wails and screams, breaking everyone's hearts.
Krishna's tears drop on his wife's face as he cradled her body close to him, he wailed and screamed, gruesomely, not caring what anyone thought of. Draupadi sitting beside him was crying as well. Slowly, he stopped.
"Draupadi...w-what did they do... tha-that the never failing, ever conquering Vijayaa had to...commit suicide...?" Krishna's voice came out rough, too rough. It was never like that...
Draupadi looked broken at the thought of it, and looked at the Kauravas. "T-the Kauravas...it was them...t-they first tried to pull me but Aryaputri intervened, sacrificing herself. Defenseless, all the Kauravas took turns sexually harrasing and groping her and then, tried to disrobe her even. When she..when she tried to protect her honour..." Draupadi paused to take a shaky breathe. "Th-they taunted and badmouthed her dignity and her in overall....but her breaking point was when they questioned your love for her...and badmouted you as well..said that you will be ashamed to have her as your wife and...and that you, your dignity and your divinity are in question because of Aryaputri...s-she..." she breathed in and breathed out again, to maintain her emotions. "Y-you know how she is like... don't you, Govind..? Sh-she couldn't handle your insult and what they said had broke her heart...s-so she k-killed herself...!" She looked down and sobbed.
Meanwhile, something snapped inside Krishna. He gripped his wife's dead body tighter. "...and what about the others?"
"T-they didn't do anything to stop it..." came the answer from the blue-lotus eyed woman.
Krishna's angered breathing was heard throughout the whole court, and it scared the life out of them. "Sakhi..." came Kanha's now grave voice. "Get out of this Sabha with Raaj Maata Kunti and Maharani Gandhari, and every female. Because this Sabha is going to turn into a bloodshed today...they will face the end of my Sudarshan..." and Draupadi obeyed. She wiped her face and got up, carrying Krishna's orders.
After the women were gone, Krishna still cradling Arjuni in his arm, took out the Sudarshan in his other. His eyes glowed a translucent white and he started glowing. Dhritarashtra, for the first and the last time, got the power of sight and the first thing he saw was Krishna's glowing self and his powerful Chakra beheading his sons. He screamed and shouted at Krishna to stop.
"Where had this power of stopping gone when Arjuni was tormented, Maharaj Dhritarashtra!?" Krishna shouted while killing Duryodhan. That shut up the king immediately.
After the killing of the DhritarashtraPutras, Krishna shouted again. "I curse you! You would have no happiness in your remaining life, and would be under torturous conditions! Life would be immensely unfair to you all alive here! And you all would just be helpless puppets of Niyati! I curse all of you here!" He brought his Parthavi's body closer to him once again.
"What had happened to your virtues, your dharma and your morals then?" He looked at Bhishma and Drona. "What happened then, Gangaputra? Wasn't she you dearest granddaughter? And wasn't she your best student, Dronacharya? Why didn't you two save her?" He looked at Vidur. "Do you have a reason, oh Mahamantri?" The three just looked down. Regret and guilt overcame their beings. They regretted their existence.
"What about you, O' Dharmaraj? Did you forget your Dharma, or did you decided to take the path of Adharma? Vrigodharamdhari, what happened to your might then? What about you two, the gift of Ashwini Kumaras?" Dwarakapati glared at them. "Do you have any idea, how much she suffered for you? Arjuni had to suffer so much from her family, which is all of you, always took the blame for you, always took the punishments for you, always saved and cared for you, when her heart broke because of you she only loved all of you more, with all it's shattered pieces, looked after Nakul and Sahadev as their second mother when Bua Kunti was not available, she sacrificed so much for you, how she always looked upto her elder brothers...DID YOU ALL FORGET THAT!?"
This broke the brothers. They regretted everything.
"That you killed Arjuni. That everyday, every hour, every minute, every second, it'll haunt you that you killed my Parthavi!! The Kurukul Rajkumari, the Kulvadhu of the Yadavas, the youngest of the Kaunteyas, the best warrior...you all killed her together!" Krishna's eyes wandered towards Karna. "Karna, you were not a Sutaputra, you are actually Suryaputra..the oldest of the Pandavas....Parthavi, she-...she know the truth, that was the reason why for the past months, since she came to know, she started respecting you... because you are her eldest brother....and you killed her by being quiet!" That shattered Karna. He...killed his sister..? His own little sister..? No...he was just bluffing—
"Mahamahim knows too, and ask Surya Narayan or even Raaj Maata Kunti, or even your adopted parents. Whatever you wish.." Came Krishna's whisper.
Krishna got up, and carried Arjuni's body in his arms and went from there, still crying.
-------------------------------------------------------
Even after thousands of years, the immortal Vishnu avatar was still roaming the Aryavarta, now called India. He was adapted to the modern world now.
It was the time of 2015. He still remembered when they didn't have these modern devices called smartphones...or whatever it was...
Krishna still had his wife's peacock-styled beautiful Chudamani, in the memory of her.
It was a rainy day, and it was only him for now on the deserted streets. Suddenly, and girl crossed him, with her immensely long open hair flowing in the wind, her face facing down and head being hidden under her umbrella. Kanhaiya gasped. She looked familiar...too familiar.
As he stopped walking due to shock, so did she stop. The girl's back was facing him, and her voice...that was familiar too...
She had giggled, and Krishna turned around in surprise, almost letting go of his umbrella. His eyes widened when he heard what she said next.
"I have been waiting for you for years now... Madhav...."
That name...only one person knew that name...
The girl raised her umbrella to show her face, and Krishna dropped his.
Was she really...
"Yes...I am Arjuni, though I go by Adhira now, but I will always be Parthavi, Your Parthavi...My Madhav…"
She really was...his Parthavi...
Krishna wanted to scream and cry because of joy and sorrow.
Adhira dropped her umbrella and embraced the now crying Kanha in her arms. The rain drops danced and the atmosphere became softer because of the union of two separated lovers.
"I won't ever leave you...Madhav...I love you, and i forever will..."

A Father's Anger
When Draupadi had married the Five Pandavas, the Kuru family had to accept it and considered the DrupadKanya as pure, because she was born from literal fire. And if anyone used to raise even one word towards her, then their own Rajkumari would raise her bow and sword at them.
But when Arjuni had married Dwarakadish Vasudev Krishna, the Kuru elders had raised questions on her virtue, purity and dignity. Dhritarashtra, the blind idiot, said it loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Arjuni, how could you even think of marrying a woman, let alone marry two people? Do you know how much this shows of your impurity? We acceptd Draupadi's marriage as she is born from fire. But you...we are doubtful about you!" Arjuni was surprised, yet she had also expected it.
"...I agree, Arjuni. All of us think you should take the Agni Pariksha to prove your pious nature." Agreed Gangaputra Bhishma. Everyone agreed. Even the Raaj Maata, the mother of the Pandavas, Kunti, added her own two cents. "I too, in my opinion, see this as a better option. Because I can't seem to have an impure daughter." Some gasped, yet agreed. Shakuni and the Kauravas smirked and gave manic grins.
Krishna and Draupadi tried to argue but were stopped by their wife. Arjuni, who was looking down, looked up directly in the eyes of everyone present, her own silver-blue eyes being indifferent. "If this is what everyone wants, then i shall agree to this. If i am impious indeed, then i will pass on and attain freedom. And then no one would have to have an impious woman as their family member."
Draupadi tried to retaliate again and Krishna squeezed his Parthavi's shoulder, in response of which Arjuni just smiled slightly and nodded at them. "If you wish to Maharaj, then we can do this today." Her voice monotone.
"Arjuni!—"
"Arju di ple!—"
"Jyeshtaa!—"
"Behena no!—"
"It is quite alright, Jyesht, Bhrata Bheem, Nakul and Sahadev." She gave the slightest smile as she ruffled Nakul and Sahadev's hair. Nakul hugged his elder sister.
"You have already suffered so much for us Di! You don't have to!—"
"Nakul, even mother thinks so." Phalgun broke the hug and carressed her younger brother's cheek. "It is alright my dear. Don't you worry about me." Nakul nodded tearfully, like how he used to when he was a kid and his elder sister used to tell him not to worry when something went wrong.
-------
Arjuni sighed as she stood in between the half-built pyre. She joined her palms in a pranam as she prayed for Agnidev to bless her with his presence on the pyre around her, and prayed for thunder to fall on her.
Not even a minute passed when a large cascade of lightning fell on Gudhakeshaa, Agnidev made his presence known as well by making the pyre burst into flames. And the Rajkumari was soon erupted into flames, her body completey engulfed into fire.
Draupadi stood anxiously, Krishna was frazzled, the Pandavas tensed. Kunti looked like she didn't care. Bhishma tried to mask his worried face. Duryodhan and the older Kauravas were waiting impatiently. Shakuni was scoffing disapprovingly. Dronacharya was also trying to mask his emotions, while Karna and Ashwatthama thought that this was wrong, finally getting some sense into their empty brains.
Suddenly the flames shot up high in the sky, lighting up the area around them and the night sky, while the lightning still cascaded around with the sky being lighted up by their strikes.
And out walked someone gently. No wait...not someone...it was Arjuni...but...
But her form had changed. Her cerulean-silver eyes becoming more beautiful and more like a mixture of a swan's and a hawk's eyes, as well as her eye lashes larger. Her already beautiful form had became more bewitching, more sharp, more mesmerizing to the eyes. Her previously gorgeous ivory-blue saree had turned into a red and white saree, the colours mixed and faded into each other and the hem of her saree being extremely extensive. Her hair, which was previously in a braid, had now opened and had got longer and silkier, the ends of her hair still gently curved like before, and it flowed, spread along a large area, in the wind. And her face...it had turned more beautiful, if it was even possible, that is. She still had her chudamani on her hair and the hair accessory gifted to her by Draupadi to always keep a part of herself with her wife.
As she walked down from the stairs, everyone looked shocked at her. Krishna, though shocked himself, was flustered profusely.
Shockingly enough, Indradev himself appeared after Arjuni got down completely from the set of stairs.
"What is all this that i had to witness from the heavens, Maharaj Dhritarashtra? Kunti, do not even think that I do not have the knowledge of what you have put my divine daughter through!" Kunti shrunk under Shakra's words. "What is all this!? How do you even dare to question my beloved, angelic daughter about her dignity and virtue!?" Indra exclaimed, angrily.
Arjuni didn't want to interrupt her father as the God of Thunder glanced at his daughter and back at the Kurus, who cowered under his gaze. "Do you have any idea about her divinity? She is the incarnation of the Tridevi ! The incarnate of Lord Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi's ansh, Naari! And you all still dare to question her pious nature!?"
Kunti, Bhishma, Vidur and Dronacharya looked shocked to the core, while the blind fool of a King and Gandhari were stammering with their movements, horrified at what their children had put their niece through. The older Kauravas looked horrified, and Shakhni as well. The Pandavas looked surprised, and yet looked like they were blessed to have her being even close with them.
"How do you even dare to even think of such explicit things, you mere mortals!?" Devaraj yelled. "I have taken the decision of taking away my child away from such a family as my heavenly child does not deserve such a preposterous family!" He looks at his daughter but he hears the requests, pleas, and begs of the Kuru family.
Keshav and Agnisutaa rushed forwards, faster than anyone and beged Mahendra to not take their wife away.
"Please, i beg you Devendra! Do not take my Parthavi away from me!" Krishna begged.
"Please have mercy on her husband and wife, Indradev! Do not take her away, please!" She requested.
This was the first time the world had seen the reincarnation of Vishnu, the Lord of the Universe, Dwarakapati, beg someone. But Muralimanohar ignored all the stares.
"Pitashree..." came the soothing voice of the Tridevi incarnate as she touched her father's feet. "Please forgive them. I was the one who agreed to their order. They were only doubtful. It is not quite a problem for me. Please do give me your blessings." Arjuni looked up when she felt her father carressing her head. "Ayushman Bhava, Putri." He blessed his daughter.
Indra finally calmed down. "If anyone else questions my Parthavi's virtue, then they would face the end of my Sudarshan Chakra." Finalised Krishna, scaring the living soul out of everyone's bodies.
"I warn all of you, if you even think of questioning my child or even hurting a hair on her head, you would face the wrath of my Vajra. If one drop of tear even escapes from her tranquil eyes and then this would result the bloodshed of the Kuruvansh and a lifetime of thunderstorms above your ridiculous heads!" And then, after nodding smilingly at his daughter, he dissappeared from there.
From then on, no even tried to question anything irrelevant or try to plan something on Savyasachi, because they are scared of her husband's wrath, her father's rage and herself.

Mahabharata AU—pt.6
Masterlist<– rest of the parts here
"Greetings Maharaj..." Came the voice of Maharishi Ved Vyas.
"Greetings Maharishi!" Dhritarashtra replied, followed by everyone.
Maharishi's gaze swept across the room and then he nodded. He accepted everyone's greetings before stating his goal. "I have only come here due to Vasudev's request. Vasudev, i have made the medicine as per required. Please take her from here and instruct the doctors to apply it the required way." Muralimanohar nodded, finally smiling and lifted Gudhakeshaa in his arms and departed without saying a word.
Ved Vyas was now standing in the middle of the courtroom. "Is it true that my brother cheated in the game, Maharishi?" it wasn't the Maharani's tired voice, it was the voice of a tired mother. "Yes Maharani, it is indeed true. Your brother had made the dice with the bone of your deceased father so that the dice would listen to only his command. The game was illegal from the start." That answer was not to empathize with anyone, it was only used to convey the truth.
Shakuni tried to hide his presence behind his nephew's large body. The appearance of Krishna and Vyas was beyond his wildest dreams. Duryodhan was no different. He was panicked because their plan was exposed, but of course he had no regrets at all.
"Who is Naari, Maharishi? And why did Govind call metion her name and...w-what happenrd with Aryaputri Arjuni?" Draupadi asked, still sobbing yet gradually lesser.
"Because that is the truth, O' Yojnagandha. Rajkumari Arjuni is Naari and Vasudev is Narayana. They were both Great Tapasvi and Tapasvini of ancient times, two lovers who were incarnations of Lord Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi. They were reborn in this age to uphold dharma, as well as to complete the purpose of their incarnation. In the concept of Naari and Narayan, the divine manasvi souled Naari is an eternal beloved of the Most Pure, divine souled Narayan. As per what happened with Rajkumari Arjuni, she just unlocked her full power due to the anger she had bottled up for years."
Maharishi began to tell the story of the Eternal Soulmates.
"Once upon a time, there lived an Asura called Dambhodbhava. Dambhodbhava wanted to become very powerful. So he prayed to Lord Surya. Lord Surya who was pleased his devotion emerged and gave him a boon. However, Dambhodbhava asked for immortality. Surya said that was impossible because every living creature born in the world must die so that the nature remains in balance. Unless there is a destiny that must be fulfilled. Dambhodbhava thought and said: 'My Lord, then give me a thousand armors (Kavach) that will protect my body, and only a person who performs penance for thousands of years can penetrate my armor, and that person will die after penetrating this armor of mine.'
Finally, Lord Surya granted the wish by giving him a thousand Kavach and a thousand earrings (Kundal) on a thousand heads. From then on Dambhodbhava was known as Sahasrakavacha (The One with a Thousand Armours) and he used his powers to do evil.
At that time, devi Murti, the daughter of Daksha, wanted to end the threat of Sahasrakavacha and prayed to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu appeared before her and gave a boon that he would be born as her son and would be the cause of Sahasrakavach's death. Later she gave birth to Narayana. Lord Vishnu had divided his soul in two parts and Devi Lakshmi mixed the major part of her energy with the smaller division, so Devi Lakshmi reincarnated on Earth along with her eternal soulmate.
Narayana and Naari grew up in a dormitory surrounded by lush forests. They are devoted worshipers of Lord Shiva. Their mothers and families also encouraged them to study supernatural powers. The two lovera learned the art of war. They are inseparable. Both of them trusted each other and never doubted the other.
As time went by, Sahasrakavacha started attacking the area around Badrinath forest, where Narayana and Naari lived. Naari went to Sahasrakavacha and challenged him. Sahasrakavacha belittled her and said that no one would be able to defeat him and penetrate his magic armor, but Naari just smiled calmly, Sahasrakavacha looked into her calm, lotus eyes and for the first time, he had felt fear.
The dusky complexioned, bewitching, female fighter and sage had striked fear in the evil doer's heart.
He said nervously. "I can be killed just by doing penance for thousands of years!"
Naari gave a calm smile. "I am well aware of that. I did not do any penance, but my Narayan has done it for me."
Sahasrakavacha took up arms and the fight began. Sahasrakavacha faced Naari's attacks and was shocked. He realized that Naari was very powerful and indeed got a lot of strength from her companion, Narayan.
Sahasrakavacha's first armor broke and he realized that Naari and Narayan were connected from the deepest depths to the shallowest surface of their souls. They are just two people yet have the same soul. But Sahasrakavacha wasn't too worried. He only lost one of his kavach and soon, Naari died.
When Narayan came there, he smiled sadly at his Naari, as he just saw her die in front of him. He closed his eyes and chanted a spell. Sahasrakavacha was frightened when he realized that Narayana had performed austerities for a thousand years and had acquired the Mritunjay Mantra.
And so on, the cycle repeated, until Naari succeeded in breaking through the nine hundred and ninty nineth armor and Narayan had to witness her death for a total of nine hundred and ninety nine times, and his heart broke more than before each time she died. Sahasrakavacha realised he could never defeat the two. He fled and took refuge under Suryadev.
Narayana and Naari went to Lord Surya and asked him to hand over Sahasrakavacha. But Lord Surya refused because Sahasrakavacha was His ardent devotee. Naari was overcame with rage amd cursed Surya that a part of his energy and Sahasrakavacha's soul would become one and be born as a human, and would experienced many misfortunes during his life.
Then later on, Lord Shiva tried to bring out Naari and Narayan's fame throughout the world. To do so, he threw his ultimate weapon, the Pasupatastra at them. The power of their meditation was so powerful that the weapon lost its power before them. Lord Shiva stated that this happened because they were the first jnanas who were constantly in the Nirvikalpa Samadhi stage.
This incident took place at the end of the Treta Yuga. Soon after the Treta Yuga ended and the Dwapara Yuga began, to fulfill the promise of destroying the Sahasrakavacha and to destroy the evil, Narayan and Naari were reborn. This time as Vasudev Krishna and Rajkumari Arjuni."
"We have made a grave mistake!" Said the Mahamantri, Vidur. "Please, do give us advice on what we should do!"
"Just as Vasudev has said, Mahamantri, your next actions will determine the fate of the Kuru Dynasty. I advise you to return the property of the Pandavas treat them well. Otherwise, I can guarantee that a major war will occur."
Should i still continue this? It was supposed to be the last part.

Mahabharata AU—pt.4
Masterlist<– rest of the parts here <3
This time...something happened even more shocking...
Savyasachi had started glowing in yellow light, it was like Suryanarayan had bestowed himself behind her.
Her form had suddenly changed to an ancient, elegant, beautiful yet utterly powerful woman with a silhouette of a goddess sitting on a lotus with four arms and holding lotuses in two of them behind her, as if signifying an incarnation of them. "From now on, i am not one of the Pandavas, i am not a Kaunteya, or even a member of the Kuru clan!" She snapped at everyone present.
Kunti gasped, horrified, while the Pandava brothers cried. The Kuru elders didn't know what to feel and shook their heads in sorrow. "Raaj Maata Kunti, Maharani Gandhari, Panchali, if you wish to save yourselves, then renounce and leave this court room. Because this whole court will drown today…" Everyone's eyes widened in horror or shock.
"I am not a human anymore...but Death..ONLY DEATH! I am the death of all the wicked men present in this unrighteous court! And I curse that....right now! At this very moment!-" "no Arjuni!" She got interrupted by Gandhari. Gandhari joined her arms before her. "Please don't curse, Arjuni! Forgive them! Please forgive them!"
The divine woman ignored the pleas of the Subalaputri. "Duryodhan! You are very attached to the wealth and throne of Hastinapur, no? Well, i curse you! I curse every single greedy men here! All of you would become poor, poorer than beggars! You all would have no food, and would be under so torturous conditions that you would beg to god for death every moment, but your suffering would not end, not until the Almighty himself decides to...That includes Dhritarashtra and Shakuni as well as the Kauravas too..." She looked at everyone with rageful eyes, not caring about any of the looks she was recieving.
"And those who stayed quiet...they would go through grave consequences..." she stated, her voice velvety and grave.
She looked at the dice table, clenched her teeth and flipped it over with such force that it broke into pieces, scattering all over on the lower floor.
Karna had then walked up to her, but she backed away yet again. "I am telling you! Do not even dare to come near me!" Arjuni, still in her unknown form, held out her hand again to stop him in his way. Karna did stop, but said "Arjuni, please, please calm down, please Behena, for your Jyesht...please."
The Kuru members couldn't even comprehend what was happening. First, the Vastraharan attempt of their Rajkumari, then her changing her form to an ancient, slightly blue yet dusky, powerful, exquisite, divine woman and now this? Angaraj calling his greatest rival his sister?
"I am not Arjuni any longer! I am not the person you all once knew!"
"Parthavi..." a soft, melodious, impossibly gentle voice called out. Everyone turned their heads towards the sudden appearance of the godly presence. Duryodhan scoffed, angrily.
Krishna ignored the stares and focused on the other divine presence and walked towards her with benign steps. "Oh Parthavi...you are right. You are only Madhav's Parthavi and Narayan's Naari..." The mention of the names seemed to break something inside of her, because her body had jerked in a way as if she had just broken out of a trance herself. Krishna still continued his way towards her with tranquil steps.
The divine form as well as the silhouette of goddess Lakshmi broke and dissappeared, as if mixed into the air.
Madhusudhan by that time had gotten close to Vijayaa and had embraced her, his embrace providing her the solace she needed so much. Her body finally became tired and she had finally embraced the oblivion she had so wished for, falling unconscious in her Madhav's, in her Narayan's arms.
He was right...she was Madhav's Parthavi...and Narayan's Naari...
