Getting Misty
[Fem!reader x Natasha]
[No warnings! just fluff :)]
âLook at me, i'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree!..â And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud, I can't understand.. I get misty just holding your hand. You say, laughing nervously. Natasha observed your state further, chuckling at your silly light hearted remark. âYou are not helpless, sweetie. This is why I'm here.â she smiled, caressing your cheek as she patched up the last of your wounds while you're lying comfortably in a hospital bed, gentle blankets covering up your exhausted body from dealing with fragmentum creatures all day.
You hold her hand in yours placing a soft kiss on top of her knuckles, feeling your face get rosy. âThank you, Nat.â you looked into her ruby red eyes, they look as soft as a cloud, and warm as the rising sun. or in this case, the warm, dim lights of Rivet Town. she looks at you with the same loving look you have on your face. âAnything for you, dear.â
Walk my way, And a thousand violins begin to play Or it might be the sound of your hello. That music I hear I get misty the moment youâre near. You lay on your side, seeing all the monitors and the IV fluid connected to you. Natasha is just on the other side of the room, walking back and forth and helping out sick patients. You admire her figure from afar. Her soft voice, her gentle touch, her caring nature, her attractiveness, her sweet personality, her- ââove..? Hello..? Jarilo IV to [Y/n}..â her soft voice rings in your ear like a soft ring of a wind chime. She chuckles softly, waving a hand in front of your eyes to snap out of your trance. You come back to see that Natasha is right in front of you, smiling. The heavens must be playing such a heavenly tune by how ethereal she looks right now. âYou made me worried, dear. You just weren't responding.â she strokes your hair and tucks a strand behind your ear. Sighing in relief that you were just talking with your eyes and not your mouth.
âAh.. my apologies. I couldn't help but admire such a pretty doctor.â you blush and close your eyes, letting her touch your scalp for a moment longer, humming at how warm her hand feels. âhaha.. Thank you, my love.â She whispers, leaving a soft and lingering kiss on your forehead. Leaving your side as she returns to tend other patients.Â
You can't see that you're leading me on. And it's just what I want you to do. Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost That's why I'm following you On my own. You feel bad that Natasha is doing all the work now that the clinic has gotten busy since it hit noon. You get up, slowly detaching the tubes from your arm, getting up somewhat wobbly but enough so you can walk. You help put away displayed medicine and materials to their homes, restock clean syringes and gause, alcohol pads and much more. It's not long before Natasha sees you up as she comes towards you â[Y/n]... you're supposed to be resting my love.. Please lie down.â she says sadly, confused as to why you're up while you visibly look like half a dead mummy. âNonsense! I feel fine. I just want to help you out.. That's all. You do so much and receive so little. So I'm doing my part and giving you what you deserve.â a smile draws itself on your face, stocking some cotton balls and popsicle sticks. Natasha let out a soft sigh and smiled, placing her hand on top of yours and placing her head on your shoulder. âThat is very sweet, dearie.. But what would help me so much right now is that you get some well deserved rest.. Your bones need it.â her gaze lands on you.. You wrap an arm around her waist.. âBut..â you protest, âno buts, honey. doctor's orders.â she kissed your cheek, and helped you get back to your bed unfortunately.
When I wander through this wonderland alone Never knowing my right foot from my left My hat from my glove I'm too misty and too much in love
It wasn't long before you were discharged from the clinic. But you stayed anyway. The clinic was peaceful when it was late at night. Nothing but small beeps from nearby monitors. You were laying on a bed with Natasha, just basking in each other's warmth and presence. âYou did a good job today.. Nat.â you muttered, placing your head on her plush chest. She let out a hearty laugh and stroked your soft hair.
âThank you love.. But you did the most today.â her words were uttered softly. âNo⊠all I did was sign in patients and restock supplies.. And did some cleaning.. But you did the real hero work..â
Natasha blushes wholeheartedly, shaking her head âhow about we both did a good job today⊠mm? Even if you did such small things.. They helped a lot..â you grin, never seeming to win when you have conversations like these..
âI guess that's true. So.. does this also help too?â you lean close to her face, and seal her lips with a kiss which she didn't expect. She returns the passionate kiss, both of your hearts beating in unison at how much love and tenderness is being expressed.
You pull back and place your forehead against hers, both of you grinning. âYes.. it helps soo much..â she laughs softly and peppers your face with kisses that never seem to end.
Too misty.. And too much in love~ âI love you, Nat.â you mumble dreamily, finding comfort in her kisses âI love you too sweetie.â she whispers, placing a blanket over both of you and pulling you close in a gentle embrace.

I Think I Love You.
includesâ hawks x reader. minors dni. fluff.
warningsâ gn!reader. keigo is in denial. tooth rotting fluff.
It takes Keigo eons to realize that he loves you.
As intelligent as he is, for every intuitive observation that turns the tides of his hero missions, he isn't the best at analyzing his own feelings. He prefers to put his emotions in a box, to scribble a smile on the lid, lock it with the heaviest brass he can find, and call it a day.
He's handling everything perfectly, thank you very much.
But when he tries to put his friendship with you in that box, you keep opening the damn lid. You keep crawling out, perching yourself on top and blinking up at him. Frustrated, he attempts to shove you back down with frantic hands, using all his weight; but for the first time in his life, it just isn't working quite as it used to.
So after months of coughing and telling himself his chest aches around you because you're such good friends, of explaining he's obsessed with you like you're a goddamn love interest in a movie because you're just so platonically compatible, of practically scribbling your name in his notepad with little hearts around it during commission board meetings, he finally flops face first on his bed and groans.
He's got a crush.
Are crushes supposed to make you think about owning a cozy cabin somewhere quiet together, where he can listen to your breathing without any distractions? Do other men fantasize about what they'd write for their wedding vows at some flower-adorned, ivory altar when they think about their crushes? He hopes they do. Maybe then, he could write this stupid tightness in his chest away as some childish, grade-school crush. That's a lot easier to deal with than love.
Yeah, this is a crush. Everybody gets those, right? He can work with that.
It comes to a boiling point on a too-quiet Saturday evening. You're practically sitting in his lap as you watch some television show he's just a bit too distracted to follow. It's not weird that his arms wrap themselves around your front, and it's not weird that his chin finds its resting place on your right shoulder.
"Oh my god, I love this actor," you nestle back against him snugly. "He's so cute, it's not even fair."
Keigo's jaw clenches.
"Hmm. I don't see it."
Narrowing his eyes, he tries to soothe himself by analyzing the wretched actor's features. He already knows your typeâ he knows you so well, better than anyone could ever hope to, he seethesâ but it helps to remind himself. He's blonde, lithe yet muscular, with a patch of stubble to boot.
Keigo does it better. His arms tighten around you as he places a platonic kiss on your shoulder to ground himself.
The next day, he decides to pick up an extra early patrol shift. He won't be sleeping, anyway.
If Saturday's the boiling point of the kettle that is his emotions, then Sunday's the fever pitch. The screeching whistle becomes impossible to ignore.
You slept over at his place that nightâ which is, again, not weird in the slightestâ so he's greeted by the sight of you when he walks through the doors of his dimly lit bedroom after work.
But this time, it's not a comforting sight. His heart rate slams suddenly, nearly knocking him to his knees.
You're fussing over your appearance in the mirror, putting together the finishing touches on your look for the gala Keigo (should not have) invited you to tonight. Your jewelry clinks with your movements, echoing off the walls of his head and knocking each thought out somewhere he can't reach.
When you turn to meet his gaze, you don't mention the way his mouth is hanging open ever so slightly.
"Oh! You gonna get ready soon? We have to leave inâ"
"Can I kiss you?"
The words spill from his lips before he even has a chance to cover them with his hands, to shove them back down his throat. The bubbles of regret start to well up in him, thrums of panic making him scramble to take it back. He shouldn't, he really shouldn't, this isn't, he's not meant for, you're tooâ
You throw your arms over his shoulders as you honest to god laugh.
His hitched "mmph" when you plant your lips against him melts your heart. Shaky palms find their place against your hips, finally having the permission they've begged for all this time.
"Fucking finally," you sigh.

Headcanons and short drabbles for my BSD Fix-it AU
!Contains Spoilers for the whole DoA arc!
TWs: Mentions of OCD, mentions of panic attacks, mentions of crying, mentions of slight gun violence, mentions of screaming, mentions of heavy injuries, mentions of medical related stuff (p.ex.infirmaries), mentions of chronic painÂ
All characters might be ooc.
Pairings: Shin Soukoku, Bramcraft, at first Ranpoe and implied developing Mushiranpoe,later mentioned Mushiranpoe, Chuusigzai, lightly implied past!Fyozai (itâs up to interpretation if romantically or platonically but itâs written more in a platonic way), implied Tachihigugin, Fyolai, engaged!Suegiku, Montcott
The ADA managed to defeat Fukuchi and obtained the page
Fyodor and Nikolai got away though.
The moment Sigma wanted to shoot Fyodor, Nikolai appeared next to Fyodor through one of his overcoat portals and pulled the other with him through it.Â
It did send Sigma into a panic attack and Dazai too got nervous because of this but as soon as the ADA managed to obtain the page, he got a lot calmer and told Atsushi to write that Fyodor loses his ability on the page, knowing that it not only would send the russian into several existence crises but also knowing that the chance that he would try to erase all ability users would become much lower then.Â
Dazai knew Fyodor for years and he knew how much his ability tortured him since his early childhood. He knew that Punishment plagued him and took over a lot.Â
Fyodorâs ability was strong and was just as intelligent as the one who wielded it so that his ability slowly but surely started to affect his mind a lot wasnât unexpected.Â
When Dazai touched Fyodor for the first time years ago, the other basically melted into his touch after Dazai touched him despite his threats that he would kill the other if he would dare to touch him.Â
The heavy weight of Punishment, the sharp and piercing feeling of the powerful ability raging inside of him whenever he felt threatened as well as its influence on his mind faded to nothing for the first time in his life.
When they met again, Dazai was almost sure that Punishment affected the otherâs mind completely since he had gotten more cruel and heartless but also because he worked so tirelessly on his goal to erase all ability users so now he was almost completely sure that erasing only Fyodorâs ability would stop the other.
He was right. Upon feeling his ability fading away until it was completely gone, Fyodor went, just like Dazai expected, through a whole existence crises
With his ability fading, Fyodor also slowly gained full consciousness over his mind again and fully realized what had happened, even though he couldnât remember events where Punishment had taken over his consciousness nearly completely.
After everything, the russian spent weeks in his bed, not only recovering from his physical injuries he had from their prison escape game but also because his mind struggled to process the fact that Punishment was gone and that he was only Fyodor now. No Crime. No Punishment. No vessel for Punishment. Just Fyodor.Â
He also had to process the fact that he gained full consciousness again and had to deal with all the guilt because of what happened which was eating him up alive for quite some time.
The one who took care of him the whole time was no other than Nikolai.Â
Nikolai who had put his clown attire away by now. Nikolai, who violently shook Fyodor after saving him, screaming at him for not getting out of his mind and for stopping him from being free, screaming that he hated him so much. Nikolai who had held a gun to Fyodorâs head, hand shaking before dropping the gun, letting his friend go and kneeling in front of him, sobbing. Nikolai who slowly learned to accept that he loved Fyodor and who slowly tried to believe that he could be free together with Fyodor.
He knew that Fyodor returned his feelings but he also knew that Fyodor waited until Nikolai had everything sorted out.
And Fyodor did wait. He waited patiently and eventually, when Nikolai was ready and both got more stable as well as used to their new quiet life, living undercover and when Fyodor was physically fully and mentally partly recovered, they got together in one cold winter night.
Their relationship was beautiful actually and it was based on mutual deep understanding and a bond which already started to form when they both met while living on the streets in the Ukraine as young teens.
Dazai was still secretly searching for the whereabouts of Fyodor and Nikolai for nearly two years, despite knowing that it was nearly impossible to find the russian if he didnât wanted to be found, scared that his plan didnât carry out exactly as he hoped that it would but after nearly four years passed, he was almost completely sure that the rat and his clown wouldnât try to start a war again.Â
Sigma and Bram joined the ADA
Sigmaâs entrance actually started with the elevator crashing down and he passed it by staying on Dazaiâs and the ADAâs side, nearly managing to shoot Fyodor, instead of running away or going back to the Decay of Angels.Â
Bram on the other hand, kind of had to stay with the ADA but he actually didnât mind.
Aya begged the agency not to kill Bram and eventually they gave in and gave Bram an entrance exam for multiple reasons, one of them being that he canât be on his own, slashed in half like this but also that if they would pull out the sword, he would have no control over his ability, just like he told Aya so they somehow needed to keep his ability at bay.
After Bram passed the entrance exam and managed to prove his good motives, which wasnât that hard for him since he never wanted to cause a vampire outbreak to happen and got forced into biting people/since he joined the DoA against his own will, Dazai touched the sword, nullifying it, so that they could pull out the sword without hurting Bram any further.Â
With the sword out of him, he was able to regenerate his body in a matter of a few days.
At first he even refused to Dazai touching it, scared that his ability might lash out completely like he had told Aya but Fukuzawaâs ability kept his vampirism at bay and allowed him to control it much better
By now he has a full body again and can make his own decisions again without being bound to anyone but he still has to use a cane since after not walking/not even having a full body for literal centuries he still struggles with walking and kind of has to relearn it.
He also has to relearn how to use his hands for the exact same reasons.Â
However, he can also transform into a large bat again so he usually chills, hanging upside down from the ceiling or hanging upside down on the side of Sigmaâs desk, sleeping in his bat form. (Sigma put a little metal bar on the side of his desk specifically for Bram.)
Sigma and Bram kind of get along pretty well. They already got along back when they were both in the DoA but could barely talk/get to know each other since they barely saw each other outside of the meetings of the organization.Â
Besides this, Sigma was nearly always busy in his casino and Bram was very well hidden and most of the time guarded by Fukuchi in some way.Â
Fukuchi got defeated completely.
The Hunting Dogs had to go under police investigation but after they were proven to be innocent and to be not involved with the DoA, they got a new leader. They couldnât split the Hunting Dogs up since they would die without the operations.
Jounou and Tecchou got engaged a few months after the war against the DoA.
Atsushi brought Bram and Aya to Dazai where he could touch the vampire, nullifying his ability and turning the people who had been turned into vampires back into humans.Â
Yosano saved multiple lives that day since the injuries which some people had before they got turned into a vampire returned shortly after they were fully human again.Â
Upon seeing Akutagawa again, alive, healthy and fully human again, Atsushi thought he wouldnât believe his eyes at first but only a couple of seconds later after standing there like frozen, staring at the other, Atsushi dashed forwards, tackle-hugging Akutagawa with such a strength and with such a speed that he knocked both of them over so that they both fell on the floor.Â
Atsushi hugged Akutagaw so tightly that the other heard he would hear his ribs crack before Atsushi sat up a bit, yelling at Akutagawa for being so stupid for sacrificing himself for Atsushi and asking if if he could imagine how it felt to fight against him as a mindless vampire.
He really tried not to cry but he failed. Miserably.
When he tackle-hugged Akutagawa for the first time, tears where already in the corner of his eyes and upon feeling the other again, hearing him breathe and smelling the familiar faint smell of tea like which the other nearly always smelled, he couldnât stop the tears from falling and it got worse when he was yelling at Akutagawa but that didnât stop him from doing so.
Akutagawa just listened to him quietly (it drove Atsushi a bit crazy to be completely honest)
Eventually Atsushi actually talked himself that much in rage, that he ended up confessing accidentally to Akutagawa which caused him to shut up immediately staring shocked at Akutagawa who looked at him with wide eyes too, before hectically trying to scramble away and get up to give Akutagawa space since he was nearly completely sure that the other was disgusted now but Akutagawa actually grabbed him before he could get up fully and pulled him back so that he lied on top of him again before hugging him, telling him that he felt the same causing Atsushi to start to sob all over again.Â
Akutagawa lied there with a faint smile, slowly rubbing the bag of the other and he would never admit it but he too, had watery eyes
Normally he would have never reacted like this or would have shown such a soft side of him but after what happened, even he couldnât stay as cold as usual
Soukoku watched them with little smiles on their faces, how they continued to lie on the floor curled up together in a tight hug, talking quietly about everything.
Fyodorâs downfall actually started with underestimating Soukokuâs bond and with sending Chuuya to Dazai in order to kill the latter without realizing that Chuuya was already long out of his vampire state.Â
Chuuya was the one who carried Dazai out of the hallway to a safe place, who did first aid on Dazai who was heavily injured from the elevator crash and who guarded him until everything was over.
Dazai managed to snap Chuuya out of the vampire state by nearly making him and Fyodor drown (it was actually part of a big plan c of Dazai which was the plan he would have to use in the worst case. That Chuuya got turned into a vampire wasnât his first plan but it was included in one of his âworst caseâ plans.)
Chuuya punched him hard later for nearly drowning him and saying such things before he âdrownedâ but upon noticing that Dazai was sticking extremely close to him and refused to leave his side the whole time and also upon seeing that he was truly shaken up too (no matter how hard he tried to mask it), he just sighed and hugged his partner.Â
They stayed like that, quietly hugging each other and Dazai basically clinging to Chuuya, holding onto him and hugging him so tightly that Chuuya struggled to breathe for a moment and he buried his face in the redheads crook of the neck for a long time
Later, they would never talk about the fact that Dazai was shaking like crazy during the first time of their embrace but when Chuuya realized it he just slowly started to rub the younger's back and buried his face in the others brown messy locks. They didnât need any words at that moment.
Dazai became even clingier to Chuuya than he was before.
Ranpo and Yosano would stick close together and also stick close to Fukuzawa for the next months, not wanting to get separated for longer than a day.
Yosano would never forget the sight of seeing Fukuzawa and Ranpo lying unconsciously on the ground, bleeding out from stab wounds.Â
She stayed at their side until they woke up again after she had healed them.
After they woke up again, she tried to appear put together and greeted them with a relieved smile which quickly turned into a wobbly smile after she heard Ranpo complaining about his head hurting and about starting to complain about the fact that they didnât listen to him in the first place.Â
He quickly stopped complaining after he noticed that Yosano had gone quiet and after Fukuzawa noticed her teary eyes, he asked her to come to him. Of course she did so and he pulled her into a tight hug.Â
It was the first time in years that Yosano cried.Â
Ranpo started to complain about getting left out so Yosano huffed out a laugh and pulled him into a bone crushing hug too.
While Fukuzawa and Ranpo were allowed to leave her infirmary the same day, the people who had been turned into vampires had to stay for a bit longer. Some of them only woke up days later.
The reason why they had to stay a bit longer was because despite Yosano successfully healing them and despite vampirism getting nullified, they felt worn out and exhausted and seemed to recover much slower. Even after a month the most still had to take things slow since their bodies quickly started to feel worn out and they often felt exhausted from doing the smallest things. After some months went by, the symptoms got lesser and lesser though.Â
Yosano had asked Bram if they could turn into vampires again but Bram told her that this was impossible.
As soon as Yosano allowed people to visit people in the infirmary again, Poe and Mushitarou were next to Ranpoâs bed.
Poe basically refused to leave Ranpoâs side and held his hand tightly.Â
Mushitarou stood next to Poe with a little smile on his face.Â
Mushitarou had started to slowly get along a bit more with the detective but they couldnât really hang out since Ranpo had been in fighting against the DoA with the others while Poe acted as a supporter from the back rows.Â
However, he got a lot closer with the writer, after all, he lived with him.Â
As soon as theyâve gotten the information that Ranpo had gotten injured by Fukuchi and was now being healed by Yosano, Poe nearly fell into a panic hole and it was Mushitarou who carefully took the phone out of Poeâs hand, saying that they would come over in a minute, before he hung up and started to calm the writer down who already struggled to breathe evenly and had shaking hands.Â
He wasnât as good at it as Ranpo was but surprisingly he was able to calm the other down in no time.
Now, standing next to Poe, next to Ranpoâs bed, he did felt strangely relieved that the detective was fine and seeing Poe babbling about how scared he was as well as scolding Ranpo for being so reckless while Ranpo patted the others head and squeezed his hand, telling him to calm down, his heart felt weirdly warm upon seeing them like that.
The ADA actually threw a huge celebration party over two whole days to celebrate their victory over Fukuchi and the DoA. It was an even greater celebration than when they won against the guild
When Lucy finally saw her girlfriend Louisa at that party again, she basically dropped everything she was holding and ran to her, pulling her in a bone crushing hug.
Louisa was a bit startled at first but then giggled and hugged Lucy back, burying her face in the crook of the other woman's neck.
Lucy would never admit it but she did in fact cry a little bit upon finally being able to hold Louisa again and upon seeing that she was healthy and alive.Â
The two would stick close together for the rest of the evening.Â
Lucy also proceeded to kiss Louisaâs scar which she had from Nathanielâs attack, telling her that she still looked beautiful with it.
Bram was able to reunite with Lovecraft.Â
The two of them had been in a relationship back in the medieval era but after Bram got sliced in half and got taken away like a trophy, Lovecraft had been unable to find him again for centuries and when he found him again, he had already been in the hands of Fukuchi.Â
All that Lovecraft wanted, was to free Bram from Fukuchi but he knew that Fukuchi would use Bram against Lovecraft, hurting Bram even more in the process and the last thing Lovecraft wanted, was to make Bram suffer even more than he already had to so he couldnât do anything beside staying close to the vampire and following them wherever Fukuchi took him.Â
The time where Bram had been on the ship had been hell for Lovecraft. He stayed underwater, underneath the ship where he was forced to listen to how Fukuchi treated Bram, how Bram tried to refuse biting people and how tired, hollow and exhausted the voice of his partner sounded.Â
Lovecraft wanted to sink the ship oh 8so bad, dragging Fukuchi down with it and killing him underwater and taking Bram with him, since Fukuchi was defenseless against him there. The world underwater was Lovecraftâs world, his element and a mere human was defenseless against him there but he knew that there was a risk that Bram got injured if he really did so and he didnât wanted to risk that so he was forced to stay underneath the ship, hoping that one day he was able to get Bram back.Â
When Bram saw Lovecraft again, he froze and stared at the black haired man with wide eyes.Â
He was sure that he would never see Lovecraft again, that he had lost him forever.Â
Bram had never stopped thinking and dreaming about the other but he didnât even dare to hope that he would see him again.Â
Lovecraft didnât look any different than he remembered him. He wore different and more modern clothes and he looked more tired and worn out than before but beside that he still looked exactly how he remembered it.
It didnât took long until Lovecraft noticed that someone stared at him and when he spotted Bram, he too froze for a moment.
He only managed to say the otherâs name before ran towards him, using a bit of his vampire abilities to move faster. However, he tripped shortly before he reached Lovecraft due to his legs giving out but Lovecraft quickly catched him and hugged him.
He held him so carefully as if he would hurt him if he hugged him any tighter.
He had always been careful with Bram since the vampire always nearly felt as fragile as a human in Lovecraftâs arms, despite being an immortal being and since Lovecraft was well aware of his strength he was always careful when touching Bram but now he seemed to touch him even more careful than before.Â
Bram however, hugged him as tight as he could, burning his face in the otherâs shirt and closing his eyes.Â
Nobody saw the tears which escaped his eyes. Only Lovecraft could feel them and only he felt that Bram was shaking slightly.Â
Lovecraft on the other hand, was still trying to process that he finally was able to hold Bram again and that Bram was okay.Â
After a couple of moments he buried his face in the others long gray hair and closed his eyes as well. They didnât need any words. It has always been like this.Â
They stood like this, hugging each other for a long time and even afterwards, they would stick together.Â
Lovecraft would always visit Bram whenever he could and they also started to meet up at night again. Usually Bram would fly down to the harbor where he met Lovecraft. Then they would talk for hours again, like they did back when they first met. They would talk and sleep, holding each other. They would dance and sometimes they would just sit somewhere, watching the night sky and remiscene about the old times.Â
Bram often thinks about his kins and his family. After all, he is the only vampire who survived and who is now walking freely around on earth again. He misses them greatly and often he blames himself for not being able to defend them.Â
Lovecraft is always there for him when the thoughts get too dark.
Sigma is allowed to carry a gun with him constantly.
He is also practicing to use his ability more precisely and is training to use his ability in order to overwhelm enemies through flooding their mind with so much information that they pass out.
He often gets paired with Atsushi when they go on missions.
They both spend a lot of time together and they became best friends.Â
 When Atsushi saw that Sigma was alive, he nearly cried. The âdeathâ of Sigma would leave his mind and he mourned about the death of the other, despite not really knowing him so when he saw him again, he couldnât believe his eyes before he ran over to him, telling him how relieved he was to see him alive and well.Â
Sigma was completely caught off guard at first. Nobody ever was so glad about seeing that he was fine. In all his years with the DoA he was merely a replaceable tool and this boy was nearly crying out of relief and happiness upon seeing him again despite not really knowing anything about him.
It made Sigma feel warm inside and his heart felt like it got squished but in a good way. It was the first time he wondered if this is what âhomeâ felt like.Â
Later he asked how he could ever thank Atsushi for his kindness. He showed him back at the sky casino but to his surprise, the other didnât want anything and told him that heâs just happy that Sigma is fine.Â
By now, Sigma, Atsushi, Lucy and Kyouka often spend time together. Sometimes they visit Lucy at the Café, sometimes they go shopping together, sometimes they go and get Crépes together and sometimes they just talk for a while at the office of the ADA.
Sigma and Atsushi both judge Dazaiâs shinegans.
Sigma got together with Chuuya and Dazai some time after the war against the DoA.
Chuuya and Dazai were already a couple for years but after the events in Meursault, they also got together with Sigma.Â
Dazai already started falling for Sigma early into the events of Meursault while Sigma slowly started falling for Dazai after the latter saved them from drowning.Â
Chuuya already started to admire Sigma when he saw Sigma aiming the gun at Fyodorâs head, showing true strength and bravery and it didnât take long until they both fell for each other after meeting too.Â
However Sigma was a bit intimidated by Chuuya at first so it took him a bit longer to warm up to Chuuya.Â
They love each other deeply and while Sigma and Chuuya would die for Dazai even though they would never admit it, Dazai would live for them.
However, Dazai is also still getting used to receiving this much genuine love and affection from two people.Â
Sigma is also still slowly getting used to being treated like a human being instead of a tool/ is still getting used to not getting used the whole time and also to finally having not one but two places he can call home (the ADA and Dazai and Chuuya).Â
During the first time after the war against the DoA, Dazai had to use a wheelchair for a long time after crashing down with the elevator, breaking his legs in several places and breaking other bones as well.
After months, he could walk a bit again and started to use forearm crutches as soon as he could walk for longer periods of time again.Â
Eventually he only used one forearm crutch.
He had to keep using a forearm crutch for years.
After a long time, he used a cane instead.
He already struggled with chronic back pain from a failed suicide attempt where he fell on his back, injuring his spine and since he didnât seeked help from Yosano until months later, the spine healed more badly than anything which is why it now often hurts and cracks, making sitting straight hurt like hell after some time and the serval injuries he had after falling down with the elevator added more chronic pain and his legs couldnât support his weight fully anymore without hurting like crazy until years later. The pain never fully faded though.
He hated needing the help of others but slowly he started to allow it.Â
Kunikida has to practice things like tying his hair into a ponytail, braiding his hair, tying his shoes and writing again because his new hands are still weak and very shaky.Â
It caused him multiple breakdowns already due to feeling utterly useless, especially now that he can neither do a lot of paperwork or use his ability as fast and often as before.
Dazai and Ranpo are the only ones who know about Kunikida struggling.Â
Dazai actually helps Kunikida when his mental health is particularly bad again and helps him to calm down when he finds him locked in one of the toilet stalls in the bathroom of the ADA again, breaking down on particularly bad days when his hands were shaking so much again that he couldnât do anything which required precise hand movements.Â
Previously, Kuniikida would check on Dazai every evening to see if the other was fine and if he had eaten anything. Now itâs Dazaiâs turn to check on his partner regularly.Â
At first Kunikida hated it, but slowly he started to accept the support and help from Dazai.
Dazai, Kunikida, Chuuya and Sigma regularly meet up somewhere during weekends to spend some time together. Most of the time, they just talk about work and about life but sometimes they watch movies together at Chuuyaâs apartment which he shares with Dazai and Sigma.Â
 After Sigma and Kunikida got to know each other through their work at the ADA, they started to get along pretty well and Chuuya and Kunikida got along well anyway. They love to rant about work and about Dazaiâs bs while drinking expensive wine.Â
Sigma sometimes bakes cookies for the whole ADA.
Fukuzawa refused to exchange any of the ADA members with Mori after he found out about the lie he told Yosano.Â
He was furious.Â
He knew that it would have consequences but for now he didnât worry about it.Â
Sigmaâs OCD and his panic disorder which he developed during his time with the DoA got even worse after the war against the DoA.Â
He never told anyone about it and normally he was able to hide his compulsions, his panic and the distress which came from not performing compulsions very well but during the first time after the DoA was defeated, everything got even harder to hide.Â
Dazai noticed him writing a word on a word document over and over again, deleting it before writing it again and noticed how Sigma grew more and more distressed. He didnât confront him about it right then at the crowded office of the ADA but he instead asked him if he could help him with something to snap him out of the thought spiral.Â
At home, he confronted Sigma about it, and while Sigma at first panicked, eventually he told Dazai about it.
By now, both Chuuya and Dazai support and help Sigma whenever his fear and his OCD get too much for him.Â
The Hunting Dogs came personally to the ADA to apologize for everything they did as well as for believing that they were guilty.Â
Tecchou also apologized less formally and more emotionally to Yosano and thanked her again for saving Jounouâs life. After all, they had wanted to execute her so he would have understood it, if she would have refused to help them.
Kenji was thrilled to finally meet this friend Tecchou talked about and he cheerfully greeted Jounou, telling him that he was happy that Jounou was okay and also telling him that Tecchou had been worried sick about him and that he was even willing to place Jounou above justice which was obviously so dear to him. (You must be really good friends then! :D)
Upon hearing this, Jounou just smiled at Tecchou who looked away, a tiny bit embarrassed.Â
Of course Jounou already knew about what happened and he had already scolded Tecchou for nearly 15 minutes for placing him above justice and his mission and for also nearly killing a whole child in his blind rage.Â
He canât deny that his cheeks had been a dark red shade upon hearing this though.
Teruko and Sigma stay far away from each other though and Tachihara keeps a respectful distance to the former casino manager too, knowing that Sigma probably never forgives them for making his casino fall from the sky, killing everyone in it but he understands it.
 That Sigma doesnât even want to look at Teruko, whether itâs because of the guilt he feels or because of the fact that they killed the people he viewed as his family, is fully justified. At least in Tachiharaâs eyes.
The Hunting Dogs now are always there to help the ADA if they would ever need more help with a case or with fighting against an enemy.Â
Tachihara stayed with the Hunting Dogs but he still meets up with the Black Lizard regularly and he actually lives with Gin and Higuchi. Â
Sometimes he meets up with the Black Lizard and with Chuuya at the bar to which they always went to drink and chat for the whole night like in the old times.Â
There is no bad blood at all and all enjoy their meetings greatly.Â
He sometimes misses his time at the Port Mafia but as long as he can meet up with them, it's alright.Â
He couldnât leave the Hunting Dogs either.Â
Both, Port Mafia and Hunting Dogs are like a family to him so he tries his best, to connect both worlds as best as he can.Â
At Home, with Higuchi and Gin, they donât talk about their jobs anyways. There it is just them. No Port Mafia and no Hunting Dogs unless there is really something someone needs to talk about with their partners/unless there is something someone wants to get off their chest.
Dazai still has awful nightmares about the events at the Meursault Prison.Â
Sigma also suffers from night terrors about the same events.
When Dazai wakes up from one of those nightmares again, he usually directly checks if Chuuya and Sigma are still there with him, listens to their breathing and to Chuuyaâs little snores as he calms down.Â
Sometimes he gets out of their bed and goes into the kitchen or the living room where he sits on the couch, staring holes in the air or staring at the ceiling while he tries to calm his racing mind down.Â
Most of the time, Chuuya and Sigma wake up shortly after Dazai left the bed though and grow alarmed immediately, causing them to get out of bed in no time and to search for their boyfriend.
After they found him, Chuuya usually can tell directly what is going on and they comfort him and gently urge him to come back to bed with them.
Sigma reacts much differently than Dazai.Â
He often dreams about the DoA, about Fyodor, about his casino or about falling down from the casino but most of the time, he dreams about the elevator which is crashing down with a rapid speed, with Dazai still in it.Â
Those dreams are often bloody and horrifying and Sigma often wakes up screaming for Dazai, hyperventilating and crying.Â
Chuuya and Dazai always calm him down and are there for him. All three of them are awful at comforting but it works for them.
Most of the time, Dazai hugs Sigma, rubs his back or gently saws back and forth while Chuuya is verbally trying to comfort him and holds his hands, caressing the back of them and assures Sigma that heâs safe here with them and that they are okay.Â
They also help Sigma to calm his breathing again and gently prevent him from tugging at his hair/pulling at his hair since itâs something Sigma does when he is stressed, scared or panicking.Â
They also always let Sigma talk about his nightmare and look out that his panic wonât get worse again.Â
Dazai also always lets Sigma feel his pulse, knowing that this can calm Sigma down more than anything.Â
He always regulates his heart beat to a calming, slow one too to calm Sigma down more when he feels his pulse.
When Sigma feels better again and Chuuya gently urges him to try to sleep again, knowing how exhausted Sigma is after the panic attack and assuring him that they wonât leave his side.Â
They often lie curled up together in one big cuddle pile then, Sigma lying between them and both hugging him.Â
Chuuya and Dazai often quietly talk about everything when Sigma fell asleep again.Â
Dazai always stops Sigma and Chuuya from overworking themselves since both tend to do so due to Chuuyaâs workaholic tendencies and due to Sigmaâs anxiety and perfectionism.
Ranpo scolds the whole ADA for multiple hours that they didnât listen to him in regards to the DoA case and brings it up over and over again.
He basically wonât let anyone forget that he warned them and that they wouldnât listen to him.
The agency is now much more careful with accepting cases and Fukuzawa wouldnât let anyone who was still recovering, no matter if mentally or physically, go on any more dangerous/more shady cases for the first time until they were fully recovered again.Â
Ranpo moved into Poeâs mansion as well and now lives with Poe and Mushitarou.Â
Mushitarou actually got together with Poe and Ranpoe after a while.Â
Heâs the happiest heâs been since quite a while.Â
Aya often visits the ADA after school.
Fukuzawa thanked her and Lucy for their support and their selfless actions to support the ADA during the vampirism outbreak.
Bram only rarely has to go to investigate a case with others. Most of the time he is sleeping somewhere in the office.Â
Now Kunikida has to scold two for sleeping/lazing around at the office during working hours.
Dazai is again trying to get Atsushi to do his paperwork, driving Kunikida crazy.Â
However, when Dazai sees that Kunikida is struggling again, he sometimes snatches some papers from the stack on Kunikidaâs desk and actually does a bit of Kunikidaâs paperwork for him.Â
At first Kunikida told him to stop but eventually he just let Dazai help him. He couldnât stop him from doing so in any way since if Dazai really wanted to do something, there was no way of stopping him and deep inside he was thankful for Dazaiâs help.Â
Dazai shows Bram the most weird songs to exist.
Surprisingly, the truce between the ADA and the PM is still on going but Dazai and Chuuya already agreed to not moving into separated apartments if the truce gets broken, not wanting to give up their life living together and living together with Sigma so soon again.Â
All three agreed that if the truce should get broken, they would move into an apartment which is neither close to the ADA or the PM and which belongs to neither of the organizations.Â
Lovecraft sometimes comes over to meet Bram at his dorm or at the office of the ADA. Especially when itâs bad weather outside since Bram dislikes going out so Lovecraft comes to him instead of Bram meeting him at the harbor.Â
The first few times he came to the ADA, everyone was very weary around him and not even Dazai made any comments.Â
The very first time, even Fukuzawa came out of his office to talk with the guest, ready to fight if needed.Â
By now, they are still weary about him but have gotten used to him just randomly appearing at the office or in the house where their apartments are, especially when itâs raining or storming outside.
It became a normal thing.
Kenji even sometimes offers Lovecraft some tea or snacks and greets him happily upon seeing him, asking him how heâs doing.
During the first time he visited, Lovecraft also told Kunikida that if they should ever hurt Bram or just try to do so, he would destroy the whole agency.
Bram was asleep at that moment. After he found out, he scolded Lovecraft a bit.Â
Bram and Lovecraft love to complain about everything to each other.Â
Lovecraft sometimes brings Bram fruits.Â
Bram loves fruits. It probably has to do with him being able to transform into a bat.Â
After Kenji found out about this too, he often brings Bram fresh fruits, especially when Bram has a bad day, in order to cheer him up.
Sigma teaches others how to play different card games.
Chuuya sometimes comes over to pick his partner up from work when he can leave his work early for once.
He also is always willing to pick one of them up from work if one of them isn't feeling well but the other one is stuck in a meeting.Â
When Atsushi first saw Dazai again, after the latter finally was allowed to leave the infirmary again, he tackled hugged him and hugged him so tightly that Yosano had to remind him to be a bit more careful.
Atsushi refused to let Dazai go for quite a while and cried his eyes out.
Dazai was sitting there like frozen for a moment before awkwardly patting Atsushi on the back, laughing and telling him that he is happy to see him too while trying to ignore the fact that his eyes got a bit teary too.Â
Kunikida and Dazaiâs reunion was much quieter but also very emotional.Â
They were finally able to hug it out too.Â
The whole reunion of the ADA was very emotional.
The ADAÂ isnât framed anymore and went back to their normal routine, even though there are a few changes and even though the war changed everyone a bit.Â
They do take cases again however and even though Dazai warned them that there might be another war against another ability user, they are enjoying their time now and they are prepared a lot better for new battles than previously.

im/pure. (slightly nsfw) livecastershipping (curtis/rosa) drabble a/n: they are aged up, of course hehe
His heart wouldnât stop racing. His hands were sweating, and every time he caught them sweaty, heâd wipe them on his pants. Heâd think to himself âthatâs gross,â he wouldnât dare touch her with hands like that.Â
But he was going to.Â
They had planned it for this evening. And this evening started to come sooner, and sooner. The agreed upon time seemed to travel quickly, it would be here any minute. He kept fidgeting, shaking, nervous. All of it felt wrong to him â the way it was going to transpire, but every time they kissed in the past, he could feel himself wanting more. And finally, with his voice shaking and his cheeks the same color of her name, he told her.Â
âR-Rosa,â he panted and swallowed. He wiped his hands again. They just wouldnât stop being wet. Wet.
She smiled back at him, as she pulled away from his face after their kiss. The girl knew exactly what he had been thinking about; he was the most transparent person sheâd ever met. He never thought much about performing in front of thousands, nor did he feel an ounce of anxiety whenever he conducted interviews.Â
But when it was just the two of them, he melted.Â
Curtis would become absolutely malleable, and he wanted to mold himself to her. The Unova champion was flattered, and although she had also changed the fate of her region, even she, too, would become nervous around him. After all, they would both be each otherâs firsts. In the funniest, strangest, loveliest sensations theyâve stirred in the other, she wanted to experience it all with him.Â
Softly, she dragged her hand over to his, picking it up. âW-Whatâs up⊠Rosa?â He continued to ask, somewhat flustered.Â
âShh,â she gently responded, with a sugary smile. She batted her eyes at him, bringing his hand to her chest. He gulped, his hands and arms still shaking. He had never, absolutely never, touched a girl in such a way⊠but he wanted to grasp. Rosa arched his hand along with hers over her breast, as she brought herself closer to him.Â
Without having to cue him, he began to tenderly kiss her⊠and then kiss her deeply. As their tongues slipped into each otherâs mouths, Curtis summoned a little more courage and brought his other free hand to her hip. Slowly, carefully, he snuck his fingertips underneath the hem of her shirt.Â
As his hand traveled to her bare waist, she released her hand atop his on her chest and used her hands to fumble against his buttons on his pants. They kissed more deeply, more passionately, colliding into the other. He felt the nervousness disappear and the desire grow. At that moment, he removed her hands from his pants and undid the buttons and zipper himself.Â
It was finally his time to make the moves.Â

Some lil facts abt Melina & Jasmine
So you know these hanging terrarium things? Yeah, so a few months after Melina & Jasmine meet, Jasmine notices how often Melina enjoys flying around her room, especially close to the large windows. To help her relax more, Jasmine hangs a bunch of these kinds of things up but leaves some openings to make them a bunch of rooms for Melina to decorate to her liking. Melina absolutely loves them & fills it with all kinds of soft mosses, leaves, rocks, you name it. Maybe human things but idk.
#Felt fluffy today :]#writing prompt#g/t#g/t prompts#g/t fluff#I might draw this later but who knows lol

Some personal writing I felt like sharing, because today has been rather absurd.
**
My nana is dying, and Iâm carving a bath plug out of a drain with a knife and fork. Itâs not even my apartment.
I find a little comfort in remembering this is her exact kind of humour.
Things that almost made me break today:
_âHow is your grandma?â A question from Audrey, over breakfast. Itâs the first time sheâs seen me out of my room in days, the first words that sheâs managed to ask.
_Snow. Not the blizzard, but the way it melted into the wool of my hat and froze ice chunks to my forehead.
_Checking the time on the subway.
_An empty fridge.
_No wall plug for my heat pad.
_Three essays, barely started. Two and a half weeks until due.
_Discovering a doll I made as a child, in the closet of this apartment which is rented by my friend of 15 years.
_The damn bath plug.
        _Imagining my nana would be in fits laughing.
#hope it's cool to share. i realized i never share personal writing.#today has been very absurd not only because of the extreme up-and-down panic-calm-crisis-love mood but also the weather#the entire day was blinding white. i think it snapped me out of yesterday's heavy depression just for a moment.#enough for me to remember to stand up and get a little work done and kiss my partner and write a little.#also my sister was nice to me today. reading her messages felt like getting hit by that snowstorm.#everything plush and fluffy but by the time it touches your clothes you're soaking wet and heavy with it.

even in their relationship with you, they still have their moments of jealousy every now and again
⥠content: zayne/sylus/xavier/rafayel x gn!reader; established relationship; luke & kieran appearance in sylusâ scene; new receptionist in zayne's scene; andrew appearance in xavier's scene; a little silly and a lot fluffy; 0.8â1k words per scene
âââââââââââââââââââââ
ZAYNE âĄ
Every situation requires an assessment to determine the most logical course of action. Zayne embodied this statement in his work, and even in parts of his relationship with you. One such part was when it came to jealousy. In all his assessments, 99% of the time, there was no threat, and, therefore, no intervention required. In any case, if a guy were to approach you in such a way, he trusted you entirely as well to not entertain him. However, as he opened his office door to call you from the waiting room, he was confronted by that 1%.
The new receptionist hired to work alongside Yvonne was young, charming, and far too friendly. Especially towards you. You stopped by quite regularly. Sometimes for your scheduled check-in appointments, and oftentimes to simply visit Zayne during his downtime. That was enough for the young man to recognise you, his energy ignited by your presence.
Zayne could only see your side profile as you stood by the receptionist desk, engaged in a conversation with the young man. You appeared to be all smiles with him today. Whatever story he was telling seemed to be so thrilling. Zayneâs face remained calm, aside from the twitch of his jaw when he clenched his teeth. If anybody had been watching, they would have likely jumped at such a sign of vexation by the cardiac surgeon.
Until that point, he thought he had known what jealousy was. He had read it in books and seen it in TV shows, all of which portrayed jealousy leading to several outbursts and stand-offs. However, as he felt something rising from the pit of his stomach and burning in his chest, he understood that the purest kind of it now flared inside him. It was a dangerous emotion that clouded his mind and, before he knew it, his feet had carried him right to your side.
Mr. Chatterbox regarded Zayne with disbelief at his approach, standing up to properly greet him.
âDoc! What a rare sight seeing you personally greet a patient at the desk.â
Zayne paid only a cursory glance and the slightest nod of acknowledgement to him before his attention was narrowed on you.
âIf youâd like to come in now, Y/N,â Zayne said, his voice smooth and warm.
You nodded. âOf course.â
As you walked, he placed his hand at the small of your back, pulling you closer to him by just a fraction. He turned his head to the side, enough so the young man could see his sharp eyes. Zayne wasnât one for outbursts, so he hoped this calculated display was enough of a warning.
Watching Dr. Zayne disappear with you into his office, the receptionist muttered to himself, âWhy does it feel chillier in here than before?â
Yvonne, a bystander to everything that just occurred, quietly approached her freshly hired colleague from behind. She delt a swift smack on his head with the edge of her palm. He yelped out in exaggerated pain, rubbing at the spot as if she had just given him a bruise.
âCould you be anymore obliviousâŠâ she sighed, shaking her head. Her gaze then turned fiery as she began to scold, âAnd how many times have I told you to stop yammering around patients!?â
At the sound of Yvonneâs voice, he immediately redirected his efforts. Not even addressing his colleagueâs prior criticism, he clasped his hands together.
âMiss Yvonne! How are you doing on this lovelyââ
âFax this, please,â she interrupted, holding a referral letter up directly to his face.
He gave a mock shiver, taking the paper from Yvonneâs hand. âSo cold in this division.â
âââââââââââââââââââââ
âIt seemed like you were making good conversation with our new hire,â Zayne commented, closing the door behind him.
You breathed a laugh. âHeâs quite chatty. I guess itâs good to have someone so energetic working at the desk.â
That sensation within Zayne turned molten, though, you couldnât have known with the coolness of his palm. What would be his intervention here? Maybe he needed to have a stern conversation with the young man, or perhaps he had to be more obvious in his affections towards you. He could never match the energy the receptionist had, so it would be impossible to achieve such a feat.
In his momentary stewing, you let out an uncertain hum.
âTo be honest, he kept talking about himself... it was a little overwhelming,â you confessed sheepishly, rubbing the back of your neck with your hand. âI couldnât be impolite to him, so I just smiled and nodded at whatever he said!â
Instantly, Zayneâs mind cleared. His jealousies dwindled into nothing more than ashes. A part of him even felt silly at how intense he was feeling just a few seconds ago.
Unexpectedly, he rested his head on your shoulder with a sigh. Your eyes widened with confusion before you chuckled.
âIsnât this a bit unprofessional, doctor?â you teased.
âFeel free to file a complaint to the hospitalâs human resource division,â he retorted, not missing a beat.
Your mirth readily turned into concern at the affectionate display.
âBut seriously, Zayne, is everything okay?â you asked, poking at his cheek.
Zayne lifted his head. He seemed to be, surprisingly, relieved. Though, you couldnât figure out what exactly he would be relieved about.
âYes, everything is perfect now.â
SYLUS âĄ
There was nothing that a deathly glare or a good shove couldnât do to resolve Sylusâ jealousy. Warding off any unsuspecting parties was his speciality, especially if it involved them getting too close to you. However, the leader of Onychinus was thrown for a loop when his very own henchmen were sparking these feelings.
âYou are⊠going out with Y/N today?â Sylus spoke slowly, as if sounding out syllables to a baby. âIs what Iâm hearing correct, Luke?â
Kieran not-so-subtly kicked Luke in the shin. Luke stifled a groan. Rather than be on their way to Linkon (and to you), they were here being confronted by the boss. It was an unfortunate slip-up from Luke as they were about to leave, which caused Sylus to sternly halt their exit.
âYes, boss.â Luke replied, trying to stand up straighter with only one good shin.
âAnd for what reason exactly?â Sylus asked.
Luke resignedly sighed.
âThey wanted someone toââ
âHelp clean their apartment!â Kieran quickly finished.
He turned and gave a pointed glare to his twin brother. You better follow along, it seemed to threaten.
Luke began nodding profusely, âYep! Gosh, boss, you wouldnât even believe the mess!â
âThis type of menial work was probably too peasantry for youââ
âSo, they invited us instead!â
Sylusâ henchmen stood there, looking quite proud of themselves and their innocent display. Sylus rolled his eyes at their dramatics. Luke and Kieran could do any task Sylus asked, no matter how dirty, and yet they were quite terrible at lying. Maybe he needed to teach them some skills in deception later. He dismissed them sharply with a wave of his hand.
âGo. Make sure to return before I leave this evening.â
The henchmen bowed, preparing to scurry away, but before they could, Sylus spoke again,
âDonât take your eyes off them for even a second, do you understand?â
They turned back to Sylus and nodded, bowing once again.
âAndââ
Sylusâ continual interruption of their exit left them in an awkward position right at the threshold of his office.
ââthey donât enjoy mopping, so I trust one of you will play the gentleman and take up that task.â
âYou got it, boss.â Luke and Kieran said in unison before finally departing.
ïżœïżœïżœââââââââââââââââââââ
Sylus was planning on sleeping before your date in the evening, but that was completely out of the question now.
Hanging out with Luke and Kieran? To, supposedly, clean? He knew what they had told him was a lie. However, a small, burning part of him was frustrated. If that had been the truth, he naturally would have been the far better partner. With the time you had shared together, surely you had not so quickly found his own company lacklustre in comparison to his henchmen. He could have been in your apartment, with you, cleaning together. Instead, he was in his mansion, alone, and grumpy. Grumpy enough to open his tablet, and switch to his camera feeds connected to Mephisto.
He had asked if his skilled companion could do a bit of reconnaissance at your apartment to confirm what this ragtag trio were doing. As the camera feed loaded, he saw that your home was empty. Internally, he cursed. Mephisto flew down to street level, and, as luck would have it, three familiar people stepped out of the apartment complex. Luke and Kieran were there (wearing face masks and caps that disguised their faces as opposed to their crow masks) along with you.
Sylus sat up in his bed.Â
He followed this trio as they walked to a nearby clothing store. Unfortunately, it would be considered odd for a crow to be indoors, so all Mephisto could do was perch atop a bench in front of the establishment and watch the three of you retreat inside behind the automatic glass doors.
Tossing the tablet aside onto the silk sheets, Sylus crossed him arms. If the thought of not being able to clean with you had made him grumpy, then seeing that he was not invited to shop for clothes with you truly made his blood boil with jealousy. As he attempted to get some rest, he thought about casual ways to mention on this eveningâs date how he could rent out entire department stores for you if you wanted.
âââââââââââââââââââââ
Sylus tapped his dress shoes rhythmically against the floor, awaiting your door to be opened after he had rung the bell. He had arrived at exactly 5 oâclock to pick you up, and although he was always well put together, he put in a little extra effort on his hair this time.
He heard the door unlock, slowly opening to only reveal your head poking out. He cocked his head to the side.
âSweetie, are you trying to hide from me?â Â
âMmm, think of it more like Iâm building anticipation,â you explained with a grin on your face.
Sylus laughed fondly. He leaned his own head against the wall beside the doorframe, turning to look at you.
âConsider me sufficiently anticipated,â he replied. âNow, may I see you?â
You gestured for him to move back so you could give a grand reveal.
âI just bought this today.â
The door swung open, and you stepped outside.
âHow do I look?â
Very little could surprise Sylus; however, you had utterly blindsided him in this moment. You were wearing a dress that Sylus didnât recognise from your current wardrobe. He knew then that the outing with Luke and Kieran had been to surprise him with a new dress for your date.
Flowy, ruby fabric draped against your figure, reaching down to your ankles. His eyes followed the heart-shaped neckline that framed the pearl necklace that rested at your collarbones, matching the accessory in your hair. All this prepared just for him.
âYou look absolutely radiant,â he breathed.
Closing the distance, he snaked a hand around you, toying with the smooth material under his warm fingertips. Seeing how gorgeous you were almost alleviated his earlier frustrations, until he came to a sour realisation.
âThough, I canât help but be⊠annoyed that Luke and Kieran saw this surprise before me.â
You bit your lip. Of course, Sylus had figured out what his henchmen were doing throughout the day. His voice grew deeper as his lips brushed against your ear.
âNext time, kitten, you should invite me to go with you instead.â
XAVIER âĄ
It took very little to spark Xavierâs jealousy, as much as the man himself would want to deny it. Strangers, colleagues, and acquaintances could cause his unassuming appearance to transform into a hostile front if they got too friendly with you. But today was another ordinary workday, so there would surely be no situation where Xavier should feel such a way.
There had been a string of quiet days at the Hunters Association that meant that Team Alpha could finally make use of their office. Namely you and Xavier, who usually were assigned to field missions. Your neglected chair squeaked under your weight as you stretched your body, lifting your arms high into the air then relaxing. Twirling the pen in your hand, the words on page about recent energy fluctuations seemed to swirl in your vision. Xavier turned from his own desk to observe you.
âIâm going to get a drink from the vending machine.â He stood up, the wheels of his chair clattering against the hard floor. âDo you want one too?â
âGreen tea, please,â you replied.
âWarm or cold?â
âCold,â you decided. You clapped your hands against your face, squishing your cheeks. âI need to shock my system to wake it up.â
Xavierâs face broke into a smile. âSounds like a good plan.â
Before he could walk away, a voice called out your name.
âMorning Y/N!â
Xavier narrowed his eyes slightly at the approaching man.
He was tall (though not as tall as himself), with ashy hair precisely tousled to reveal his forehead, and friendly eyes. Xavierâs senses heightened in the same way as they would in a battle with a Wanderer. The unfamiliar man had greeted you with such familiarity. Only two words had been spoken, yet it was enough to irk Xavier. If he had called you less kindly, that would have helped to lower his guard.
To his surprise, the man turned his attention towards him.
âAh, you must be Xavier! Iâve heard much about you.â He extended his hand. âIâm Andrew, head of the Data Analysis sector.â
Xavier stared at Andrewâs hand for a momentâblinking and discerning. Head of Data Analysis⊠Is this some kind of power move? He gave the hand a brusque shake.
âExcuse me, I need to get some drinks for the two of us,â he said, turning on his heel and walking away to the officeâs break room.
Andrew furrowed his brows as he watched Xavier leave.
âQuite elusive, isnât he?â
You shook your head.
âMaybe when you first meet him. But once you get to know him, youâll see just how reliable he is.â
The tenderness in your tone came unconsciously to you, but it always happened when you spoke about Xavier to others. Especially towards those who might misinterpret his neutral disposition.
Small talk continued over the next minute between you and Andrew, until he suddenly looked at you with a slight frown.
âThereâs an eyelash on your face,â he said, pointing vaguely to the left side of your face.
You used your fingers to swipe across your skin, yet Andrew still shook his head.
âNo, no. Itâs right here.â
He brought his finger closer to show you exactly where it was.
The dull thud of plastic bottles falling to the ground could be heard a couple of metres beside you. A blinding light zipped through the air, alongside a gust of air that swept your hair back. Before you could even register what had caused this phenomenon, Xavier appeared between you and Andrew. Your wide eyes stared at his hand gripping Andrewâs wrist.
âXavier?â you called in surprise.
Xavier seemed equally shocked at how instinctually he acted. One moment he had seen Andrewâs hand move closer to your face, and the next he was face-to-face with him.
âI-I donât know what came over me.â He released Andrew from his iron hold. âI'm really sorryâ.
With a small bow, Xavier braced himself, ready to receive the full brunt of anger from the Head of Data Analysis. He shuddered at the thought that this might be reported to Captain Jenna. Instead, Andrew shook his head calmly.
âDonât worry about it.â He gave an understanding smile, observing your worried expression towards Xavier. âIn fact, I do believe this was my bad.â
The abandoned green tea bottles rolled lazily beside the desks, and Andrew picked them up. âIâll be heading off to my office now, Iâll see you two later.â
Handing the drinks to you and Xavier, you both expressed your thanks. As Andrew left, you turned to Xavier.
âXavier,â you spoke slowly, âwhat exactly was that?â
He scratched his head and diverted his eyes from you.
âI saw he was getting too close, and my body moved faster than my headâŠâ
It was hard not to react at how adorably guilty he looked.
What am I going to do with you? You thought, sighing in affectionate amusement.
âI know how it must have looked from afar, but there was just an eyelash on my face that Andrew was trying to point out,â you explained.
Again, you swiped a finger across your face. âI still donât know where it is though.â
Your movements were halted as Xavier gently grasped your wrist. He leaned in close, examining your face. You felt his light touch against your eyelids as he took off the lash.
âYou know, thereâs a superstition about this,â he began, handing the lash to you.
âThey say if you have a stray eyelash, you can use it to make a wish.â
He cleared his throat, the tips of his ears turning red believing his next words to perhaps sound a little childish.Â
âSo, I wanted to be the one who would give you that wish.â
RAFAYEL âĄ
Rafayelâs jealousy would make itself known to you the moment he felt it. Though he would hide it between clever, teasing remarks, it was cute to see how clingy he got when it happened. And there was no better situation to provoke such feelings than at a gala hosted by Flux Arts. Admittedly, it was difficult to get the artist himself to attend these gatherings that featured one of his own paintings, so Thomas had to devise a convincing reason for him to go. That reason, naturally, being you. If you were his plus one, Rafayel could certainly face any battle.
You stood in front of Rafayelâs painting now as he had left you for the moment to speak with Thomas. Even after being exposed to his work many times (both mid progress and completed) they still managed to instil awe within you.
âFascinating, isnât it?â
The voice pulled you back into the room, and you looked over at the stranger beside you. He appeared to be slightly older and was likely a wealthy, enthusiastic patron of the gala.
âYes, it is,â you agreed. âItâs one of my favourites.â
In truth, you favoured it because you were there when Rafayel painted it. From start to finish, he had you at his side. Though abstract, upon closer inspection, one could extrapolate details of a city with glorious towers and vibrant, thriving coral. It held a special place in your heart.
The manâs eyes were glued to the painting.
âRafayel truly is an artist you get once in a lifetime.â
You couldnât help but smile at the sincerity in the gentlemanâs compliment.
âItâs hypnotising to witness the scenes he creates,â he continued. âHe seems to bare his soul in each painting.â
âHe is quite an expressive man,â you commented, breathing a small laugh.
From picking out the perfect outfits to the perfect paint materials, passion infused every part of Rafayelâs life, including in his relationship with you. It was one of his greatest traits you adored about him.
The familiarity in your tone was lost on the man, who believed you to only be an admirer of the artist, and not an admirer of a different sort.
The conversation continued, and you discovered the man to be a professor of history. He had discovered Rafayel through his own interest in ancient civilisations such as Lemuria. You couldnât help but beam with pride listening to the man speak so highly of Rafayel, and the impression his works had left on him. The man soon took his leave, thanking you for entertaining his enthusiastic ramblings.
You were so engrossed that you didnât notice Rafayel with his arms folding behind you. He graciously gave you a few seconds to detect his presence. Though, his frown grew as you continued to be, supposedly, too starstruck from your earlier conversation with that stranger.
He cleared his throat loudly.
You spun around at the familiar voice.
âRaf! How long have you been standing there for?â
He shrugged with as much nonchalance as he could muster. However, anyone with two eyes could have guessed the annoyance on his face.
âEnough to hear the last bits of your conversation.â He strode to your side, arms still folded tight across his chest. âFound interesting company so soon after I left?â
You closed the gap between the two of you with a step, preparing to explain the true nature of that conversation. Not letting you interrupt his sulking, Rafayel continued,
âI need to be more wary. There are too many people here wanting to whisk you away from me.â
As soon as you walked into the gallery arm-in-arm, peopleâs eyes were drawn to the two of you. At his mention that you were the centre of attention, you had dismissed it, saying it was him everyone took interest in.
Tilting your head to the side, you placed your hands your hips, almost as if to say: Are you going to let me speak?
Rafayel quickly conceded, spluttering out his next question, âAnd why were you being so chummy with that stranger, anyway?â
âThat stranger said he was a professor of history specialising in ancient cities, and that heâs been an admirer of your works for a long time,â you answered.
Poking at his cheek with your finger, you attempted to remove his pout that remained affixed on his face.
âI was being chummy because he was complimenting your work! It made me happy to hear that people have such high praise for you and your paintings.â
Rafayelâs pout disappeared.
âIt just made me think⊠how proud I am to have you as my partner,â you smiled. âYou leave a profound impression on people.â
Your words resonated in his head. He stood motionless, with only the slow blink of his eyes.
His lack of reaction made you flush.
âAh, that was pretty cheesy, wasnât it? Iâm sorryââ
The apology stopped short in your throat as you were scooped into a tight hug. Rafayelâs arms wrapped around your waist. A few gala attendees looked over at the young couple with admiring gazes, wondering what could have happened that would cause such open affection.
Rafayel nuzzled his forehead into the curve of your neck, mumbling right by your ear, âJeez, here I was trying to be jealousâŠâ
âââââââââââââââââââââ
#odorawrites#admittedly i thought the jealousy scenes i would write would be more dramatic/high stakes (?)#but when i started to put words on the page i was drawn to writing scenes set in their normal day-to-day lives!#i thought these were still fun hehe i hope this is an enjoyable read <3#love and deepspace#l&ds#lads#love and deepspace fluff#love and deepspace x reader#l&ds x reader#lads x reader#zayne love and deepspace#xavier love and deepspace#rafayel love and deepspace#zayne x reader#zayne x y/n#zayne x you#xavier x reader#xavier x y/n#xavier x you#rafayel x reader#rafayel x y/n#rafayel x you#l&ds fluff#zayne fluff#xavier fluff#rafayel fluff

â SATORU GOJO HAS LOVED YOU SINCE YOU WERE KIDS - HEâS GONNA MAKE YOU HIS ! â
⧠series: call it what you want (part one)
⧠pairing: younger!satoru gojo x reader
⧠summary: satoru gojo fell in love with you from the moment he met you at eight years old. and now, in his twenties, when he sees you again after you move back to be closer to your aunt and your cousin, suguru, he knows â he has to make you his by the end of the summer.
⧠warnings: 18+, nsfw, eventual smut, childhood friends to strangers to lovers, fake dating, gojo is four years younger than you, rich boy!gojo, suguru is your little cousin, very fluffy, slow burn, like they don't even kiss, but they will :), love at first sight for gojo, naoya is your ex,
⧠w/c: 15,285
âNever thought weâd be doing this, did you?â Satoru muttered in your ear, breath fanning hot against your neck, âbe a little quieter, sweetheart, otherwise Suguru might hear us,âÂ
You whine, but his fingers drag against your kiss bitten lips, until the digits slide into your mouth, as his hips rut against yours. And you didnât think youâd ever be in position with your cousinâs best friend â pressed to the doorway of your apartment where Suguru could walk in at anytime.Â
This isn't what you thought would happen when you invited him over to talk. This isn't what you thought would happen when you agreed to pretend to date him. This isn't what you thought about -- but how could you think about anything with the way his breath felt against your skin?
He loved you -- loved you since you were kids, and he couldn't let you go, not like this. Not when he had you.
Not that you even wanted him to.
You didnât think youâd shiver as he pressed open mouthed kisses down your neck, tongue flicking against your burning skin. You never thought youâd want to moan his name, like you had, far too many times.Â
âYou may have never thought about this, Princess, but I sure have,â he presses a kiss to your jaw, the wet sounds your skin slapping together, as he reaches around your body, pinned on your stomach to the mattress, to rub at your swollen clit, drawing a muffled cry from your lips, âfar too many times,âÂ
In fact, Satoru Gojo knew exactly the first time he fell for you. It was the day he first met you.Â
âBe my girlfriend!âÂ
It was less of a question and more of a statement. Â
One declared in the doorway of your room, with flushed cheeks and flowers in hand. And they werenât your cheeks or hands, but your baby cousinâs best friend.Â
The first time Satoru Gojo asked you out was at the ripe old age of eleven, but truth be told he had held this crush since the moment he saw you when he had come over to Suguruâs house for the first time, almost three years ago now.
Your fingers brushed his as you gently took the flowers, âSatoru, you know I care about you, but not like that. Youâre better off seeing other people your own age, ok?â You smiled at him, the same way you always did, a slight pout on his lips as he nodded, saying nothing more.Â
And you knew you were right â there was no fucking question that you were right. He was eleven and you were fifteen â an age gap untenable and unreachable.
But nowâ
âLong time no see,â Satoru said, lips curled in an all too cocky smile that you couldnât believe belonged to the same blushing kid who confessed so earnestly back then, âitâs been too long,â your name rolled off his tongue with a familiarity that was the same but all too different.Â
But he wasnât a kid anymore â far from it. It had been over a decade since you had seen him, as the summer he confessed was the last one you had spent at your aunt and uncleâs home. And you and your family moved overseas shortly after that, and you didnât return until now, four years after you graduated college, for a job offer you couldnât pass up.Â
And you didnât realize that so much time had passed.Â
But he did.Â
âEh? What do you mean you canât help me unpack today, Sugu?â you hold the phone between your ear and shoulder, as you rip open the tape on yet another box you had hauled into the proper room to unpack, âyou told meââÂ
âI told you Iâd help you unpack if I had time. But now, Iâm stuck at work until the evening,â you heard your cousin sigh over the phone, âBut donât worry â youâll have helpââÂ
Youâre too busy trying to rip the tape off as you rip into Suguru to notice the door creaking open behind you, âSuguru, I swear to god if youâre sending a total random stranger to help meââÂ
âNot a total stranger,â a voice says behind you, and your head whips around so quick, you nearly drop your phone, gripping it, âunless not seeing me for years makes me one,âÂ
A mess of white locks and sunglasses tilted downward to reveal a hint of his cerulean eyes that you could never forget â but still, you barely recognize the man that has them. Even if the grin on his lips with the lilting sound of his voice told you that he very much recognized you.Â
âSatoru?â Suguruâs explanation falls on deaf ears, as Satoruâs eyes donât bother to take in your new place, all too focused on you, hands slipping into his pockets, âyouââÂ
He steps forward and plucks the phone from your fingers, âYo Suguru, I told you itâd be better as a surprise,â and you gape at him, as his grin curls wider, âyeah, yeah, I didnât take the phone to have you lecturing me â I get enough of that from my dad,â and Suguru says something that makes Satoruâs cheeks flush, and he hangs up, before his attention returns to you, âso, shall we unpack?âÂ
A few minutes turns into hours of hauling boxes inside and then unpacking them. Itâs relatively silent, surprisingly for Satoru. The silence was a far cry from the boy who couldnât shut up for two seconds, telling you about the test he aced or something stupid that one of his classmates said or asking you about your day.Â
Instead you watch him haul boxes like they were filled with styrofoam and air from the truck outside, and then lift his shirt to wipe the sweat from his face, a flash of his abs shiny with perspiration. Your eyes dart away, suddenly incredibly fascinated with the contents of this box of kitchenware you opened up, cheeks burning, wondering when did the little boy you looked after become a man?Â
âPrincess, where do you want this?â Satoru lifts a box, and you canât see the writing on it from the angle he picks it up.Â
âDo you still have to call me Princess?â The embarrassing nickname your aunt had given you still stuck â the one that Suguru would always tease you with, while Satoruâs decidedly lacked any malice, âmy aunt only called me that because she wanted a girl so bad,âÂ
âIs that why Suguru is growing out his hair now? Trying to fulfill her dreams?â You snort, as you walk over to him, âit still fits you regardless of the reason Princess,âÂ
Youâre close, even with the box providing glancing around the box until you find it scrawled on the box underneath his arm â his veryâŠmuscular arm, veins bulging and muscles tense underneath the weight of the boxâ
âSo this is stuff for my bedroom, you can just leave it on the floor, itâs right over here,â you lead him over and he places down the box, âI think thatâs mostly it, Iâm sorry Suguru made you come down here to help,âÂ
âYou donât need to apologize, I wanted to see you,â and you smile softly, âitâs been too long,âÂ
âIt really has,â and your neck strains a little with how he towered over you, âcan't believe youâre the same little boy I used to babysit,âÂ
And he rolls his eyes, âSuguru would say itâs arguable I could still use a babysitter,â and you chuckle, âIâm not so little anymore, but I wouldnât mind if you were my babysitter,âÂ
Was he? No. No, he wasnât.Â
Right?Â
âStop fucking around,â you shake your head, as you head into the kitchen, âdo you want to wash up, and then maybe Iâll order take out to thank you?â Youâre turning on the faucet.Â
You donât notice the slight pout on his lips, one he schools into a smile as you glance back at him, blinking as you find him shirtless.Â
Fuck. How was it possible for a person to be this gorgeous? Sweat slid down his body, slipping between the dips of his chest and ridges of his abs until disappearing into the fabric of his pants, or somewhere hiddenâÂ
You look away â âIâd rather take a shower. Do you mind?â And you force your voice not to come out a squeak, busying yourself with washing your hands, just so you donât have to look.Â
âYeah, of course, the bathroom is just around the corner. There should already be fresh towels inside,â and yet his steps grow closer, as you glance back, âuhââÂ
Heâs still fucking shirtless.Â
âInstead of take out, can we grab dinner somewhere? You havenât been back to the area recently so itâs a good chance to show you around,âÂ
âYou really donât have toââÂ
âI want to, Princess,â he cuts you off, reaching around you to grab a water bottle off the counter, âget ready while I clean up?âÂ
And you bite your lip, âOkay, okay,â and he grins back, a glimpse of the little boy that beams at you when youâd praise him for a high mark on a test.Â
âItâs a date!â And heâs off, disappearing into the bathroom, and youâre left there, wondering â what had you gotten yourself into?Â
~~~
âSo,â Satoru lifts a spoonful of his dessert â a fruit parfait with a sugar coma inducing amount of whipped cream â and you were almost relieved to see some things about him hadnât changed. How many times had you scolded him as a kid not to eat so much sugar â and he still hasnât kicked the habit. You bit back your chuckle, as he spoke, âdid you get dumped?âÂ
You almost choke on your drink, as you splutter for a moment, before glaring at him.Â
And yet the more they stayed the same.Â
âI see youâre as subtle as you were when you were 11,â you mutter, setting your drink down, as you wipe your mouth with a napkin. Satoru tilts his head, a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips.Â
âSo you dumped him?â He leans back, âI didnât know you had such high standards,â your cheeks burn, distracting yourself with becoming enthralled in the menu â Satoru had dragged you to a hole in the wall barbecue place (after your insistence that you didnât want anything fancy after unpacking for hours).Â
âHow did you know I brokeââ and you cut yourself off at the obviousness of the answer, slapping another piece of meat on the grill, the sizzle punctuated by your words, âIâm going to murder him,âÂ
âWell, youâre in the right place to dispose of his body,â Satoru licks the spoon clean, before sticking it back in the whipped cream, âwhy did you break up with him?âÂ
You shrugged, âI realized he was a narcissistic prick who only wanted me as a trophy,â and Satoru whistled lowly, âIâm done with dating losers. And dating in general,âÂ
âI donât think you should give up on dating just because you had a few bad experiences,â his voice grows soft, âyou deserve to be happy and taken care of, even if you have bad taste,âÂ
And you pout, âI donât have-â and he tilts his head, and you lift a few pieces of meat from the grill onto your plate, tongs clattering slightly as you set it down, âfuck, I do,â you groan, shaking your head, âthatâs why I had to get out of there. Just needed a fresh start you know?âÂ
âSometimes thatâs just what you need,â and your lips curl.Â
âSounds like you speak from experience,â and his eyes flit up to yours, gleaming in the low light of the restaurant, cerulean irises catching the drops of light like comets across his gaze.Â
âDonât know what you mean, Princess,â he busies himself with his parfait, and you scoff.Â
âCome on, half the girls in this place are glaring at me while I sit here, the waitress has been flirting with you, and now they had brought you out the biggest dessert that Iâm starting to wonder if they even serve it here,â he spares a glance around, several gasps from giggling girls who avert their gazes, before his eyes are back on you.Â
âJealous?â You roll your eyes â he wasnât lacking for ego at least.Â
âMore like wondering what a guy like you is still doing single,â and he sighs, leaning back, with a tilt of his head.Â
âYou sure are curious about me,â and his gaze softens for a moment, while he picks at his dessert, scooping the strawberry off the top, âthereâs only really been one person that I really wanted,â his tone grew more serious, lips in a bittersweet smile, âbut sheâs never really looked me like that,âÂ
âDonât tell me itâs one of those things where she rejected you and you have to have her now,â and he chuckles, shaking his head, gaze far too wistful.Â
His words are slow, as slow as the ice melting in your glass, âItâs more of if I donât have her, I donât want anyone else,â and your heart squeezed â would you ever have someone care so deeply for you?Â
âThen why havenât you said anything?â you picked up another piece of meat off the grill, âanyone would be lucky to be with you,â and you meant it â he was blunt, but also kind, sweet, not to mention rich and you flushed as you thought back to his hiked up shirt â good looking.Â
But he only stares back at you, tilting his head â expression unreadable, an emotion you canât grasp before itâs hidden under his gazeâs tempered waters, âAre you included, Princess?âÂ
Thereâs a pause, as you almost chuckle, but your laugh dying in your throat at his expression â that same smirk, but the way he looks at you stops your mind in its tracks â only one word rolling around in your head: what?Â
And your brow furrows, your lips parting in a response you donât have â only questions, ones you donât get to ask as Suguru slides in beside you.Â
âSorry, Iâm late,â Suguru sighs, the moment broken, and you donât catch Satoruâs expression, too distracted by your cousin, âgot stuck in a staff meeting,âÂ
âI told you academia is hell,â you elbow him, and Suguru rolls his eyes, as he shrugs off his suit coat, âwere these meetings the reasons you got held up or are they just an excuse so you didnât have to help me?âÂ
âWho said it canât be both?â And he earns a smack to his shoulder, your attention turning back to Satoru, his gaze fixed outside.Â
âYouâre unusually quiet, Satoruâ Suguru kicks him lightly under the table, ânot like you,âÂ
He looks at you first â and you grasp the emotion he had hid before â what was it? Sadness? Longing? â right before itâs gone again as he slides his mask back on, grinning as he always does.Â
âWhat can I say? The view outside is much better than your ugly mug,â and the two of them begin to bicker, and you lean back in your seat, a smile pulling at your lips, even as you glanced back at Satoru.Â
And now you wondered if you would ever get an answer to your questions. Or maybe, you sipped your drink, it was better not to have it answered at all.Â
~~~
Satoru Gojo was eleven years old when he fell in love with you. It was from the moment he met you.Â
And there hasnât been anyone else since.Â
He supposed it was inevitable in a way â since Suguru was his best friend, and his first, and when his family finally decided to enroll him in school, instead opting for private tutors, for the social aspect of making connections, of course. Because what else was your eleven year old son good for then helping to make future business deals easier?Â
But Satoru made friends with the one person who couldnât help their deals â Suguru Geto, one of the only scholarship students in the entire school. And Satoruâs want to avoid spending his days with servants or on the rare occasion, dealing with his dadâs lecture for getting in another âdisagreementâ with one of his classmates (that ended with that classmate crying after Satoru evaded his punch and kicked him in the shin), ended up with him at Suguruâs place. A lot.Â
Then soon enough, he was spending most of his summers there too. And thatâs when he saw you.Â
âYou said your cousinâs here? Is she nice?â Satoru asked, taking off his shoes, as Suguru shut the door behind them.Â
âShe is, except when sheâs being a pain about homework. And when she gets mad, she reminds me of my mom,â Suguru grimaced, as he walked past him, calling out for you. You rounded the corner, book in hand, and Satoruâs eyes grew wide.Â
âHey Sugu, you brought a friend?â You walked over, still clad in your high school uniform, before introducing yourself, and offering him a warm smile, âitâs nice to meet you. Iâm Suguruâs cousin,âÂ
Satoru didnât know what this feeling was â and he wouldnât until a few more summers passed, and his hormones kicked in â but all he knew was that he would do anything to see you smile like that at him again. And he did â he would spend as much time as he could with you â talking to you about a test he aced, about something funny that happened at school, or even ratting on Suguru about what he was up to (earning him many knocks to the head by his best friend). But every time you smiled or laughed, it was worth it â worth every second he spent counting down the time to summer break so he could see you again.Â
But he didnât know his seconds would run out so soon â and he only learned one random day going home with Suguru, from a snippet of a conversation he had with his mom.Â
âI know, I know sheâs coming next week,â Satoruâs interest hadnât been peaked by Suguruâs conversation until then, because he knew exactly who they were talking about. After all, you always came right at the start of break, and finally he could see you again â and maybe this time, he could tell you how he felt.Â
âI know, I know itâs her last time here so it has to be perfect,â and Satoruâs head snapped back to Suguru, last time? âI will,â and Suguru hangs up, a sigh on his lips, âmy mom is being so annoying about my cousin. So what itâs her last time staying with us? It doesnât mean we have toââÂ
âWhat do you mean itâs her last time?â Satoru kept his tone steady and slow, even as his heart thrummed against his ribs as if it was a xylophone, âshe always comes every summerââÂ
âOf high school,â Suguru corrected him, âshe is applying to university this year â most of them are abroad, and it seems likely she wonât be back in Japan, not for a while,â Suguru continued to complain on their way back to his place, but all Satoru could do was think about you.Â
It was your last summer with him. His last chance to make a move, to be something more than your younger cousinâs friend. His last chance to make you see him as a man, not a kid.Â
He had to confess, his fingers curled into fists, before the end of the summer. He would make you his girlfriend â one way or another.Â
And he did confess back then, Satoru thought, as he picked up a photo, wrinkled and yellowed at the corners, a picture that Suguruâs mom had taken of you and him the summer you had left. A candid of him and you looking at each other â one that Suguruâs mom had slipped to him with a knowing smile and a wink (one that had mortified him as a teenager).Â
He was always looking at you â no matter where he was, his eyes always found your form, a magnet to its opposite pole, and he didnât know how to stop you from drawing him in. It had been over a decade and he still couldnât.Â
He stared at your smiling face, the very same face that had looked at you with a smile fading to confusion this evening. He had gotten so close to asking you â to telling you how he felt â and he flips to the next picture, a scowl on his face as a picture of him and Suguru with his smug smile stared back at him. If only fucking Suguru hadnât interrupted.Â
He shook his head, flipping back to his picture of you. This wasnât the summer and he wasnât a kid anymore. And you werenât out of his reach, bound for another country across the ocean. No, you were here â only a short drive away.Â
And he made a promise to himself â he would get you to fall in love with him, before the end of this summer.Â
~~~
You hate first days.Â
âDid you see the guy waiting outside?â one woman whispered not so softly as you passed by.Â
âYeah looks like heâs waiting for her,â the otherâs lips formed a frown but only to hide her smirk.Â
From the time you were a kid, your first day of school was something you had all the time from your family moving around. You were always the new kid â the one who would be met with wide eyes and curiosity, only to be tossed aside a few days later.Â
But this was a fresh start that you had wanted â a new job far away from where you had started, with new responsibilities â a first day you had looked forward to, until it went so downhill.Â
And it was all your exâs fault.Â
You texted Suguru â is it too early to quit on the first day?Â
He replies, well itâs been four hours, think youâve lasted through one of my dadâs long winded stories longer than that. What happened?Â
You glanced outside towards the front of the building. It was more like âwho happened?âÂ
It was an innocuous enough morning, of introductions, trainings, orientation, and finally computer set up. You were rifling through your paperwork, trying to figure out what sheet looked the least daunting when someone called for you.Â
âThereâs someone looking for you outside the lobby,â you saw a flurry of looks shared and smirks shot in your direction, and when you arrived downstairs you knew why.Â
What. The. Fuck.Â
You couldnât help it. You bursted outside, âwhat are you doing here?â It was your ex â the very same ex who had started at the same overseas company after you both graduated and the one you had. And again, had chosen to follow you here.Â
âWaiting for you to change yer mind,â Naoya tilts his head, hands in his pocket, âand I know you will, because you love me,â he raises his voice to catch the eye of several passerby, and you grab his wrist, dragging him away.Â
âFuck off,â you hiss under your breath, âI told you itâs over, and donât you have a fucking job?âÂ
âDid you forget? Iâm rich, another reason ya canât do better than me,â Naoyaâs lips curl into that same grin, one you knew as charming once, until you saw past his pretty pink lips and glimpsed the sharp fangs behind them, âI took time off. Did ya think it was a coincidence we ended up at the same company?âÂ
You gritted your teeth, âNaoyaââ and he breaks from your grip, instead his fingers dig into your wrist.Â
âAll ya are is me. All that you have is me. And all you will have is me,â he dared closer, breath warming your lips, as he took hold of your other wrist and tugged you close, âthe sooner you accept that, the better, doll,âÂ
âDoll.â The term of endearment you had seen as precious to you. Something you always loved to hear roll off his tongue, the word you had learned to learned to reply to, even more than your own name. The one you regarded with such love had burned, burned until the flames licked your skin and knew what it really meant â a doll with strings, one he was meant to be the master of.Â
âDonât call me that,â you rip your hands away, âleave. Youâre embarrassing yourself,âÂ
âAm I?â He tilts his head, jerking his head in the direction of your building where your offices had a clear view of this, âor am I just embarrassing you?âÂ
You stared out the window for a moment and you knew he was still out there â judging but the way your phone was on the verge of suicide by notification, he was still very much there. And now, all people would know of you is the new worker with a crazy stalker ex.Â
Iâm calling the police, Suguruâs text popped up, whatâs your workplaceâs address?Â
You think I hadnât thought of that, Sugu? You sigh, heâs not doing anything. Heâs on a public sidewalk. They canât do anything to him.Â
Another text: when do you get out? You glance at the time, seeing another two coworkers whisper to each other, stealing looks.Â
An eternity â In another two hours.Â
Iâll handle it. Just wait in the lobby after work. And you frown.Â
Sugu, I can handle it. I donât need you to come down here.Â
You always fought your battles. You didnât need anything else to â or anyone else to pick them for you. Not even your baby cousin â no matter how sweet his intentions were.Â
Donât worry. Iâm not coming down. And you frown, staring at the text, before your phone rings, and you groan as âAssistant Directorâ flashes on the screen. Â
You were so fired.Â
You werenât â as you shut the door of his office behind you. However, he did advise you that this company had a strict no nonsense policy and did want personal drama to be dredged up in the office. And you were given the day to sort out your âmess.âÂ
You scrub a hand down your face, but it wasnât even your mess, and how would you fix it? He wasnât going to listen to you. You sit at your desk, packing up your bag for the day. And your phone vibrates.Â
Come down.Â
You hesitate, But heâs still downstairs.Â
Just go.Â
Fuck. You sling your bag over your shoulder, piercing eyes digging into your back, vultures circling an already dead carcass, whispering still even as the elevators doors shut.Â
And you almost wish they never opened when you see whatâs waiting for you outside.Â
Fuck.Â
You grit your teeth, stomach in absolute knots as if to brace yourself for the complete shitstorm youâre about to deal with.Â
âSatoru?âÂ
Satoru Gojo leaned back against his expensive (likely imported) car, shiny as it was new, sunglasses glinting in the light, but not brighter than the grin he gives you. He holds out your favorite drink, a tilt of his head.Â
âAre you ready to go?âÂ
You glance around, as he places the drink in your hand, âBut what aboutââ
âLet go of me!âÂ
Satoruâs lips curl, sliding his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose, âOh, Iâve gotten him handled,âÂ
Naoya stood between two men restraining him, both in suits, as his face contorted in anger, veins bulging, eyes darting between the two of you, âDo you know who I am? Iâm the heir to the Zenin Corporation â you cannot treat me like this. Iâll have youââÂ
âHeir? Really?â Satoru stepped forward, blocking him from your view, âis that right? I thought the Zenin hadnât decided announced a successor yet,âÂ
You furrow your brow â how does Satoruâ but then youâre being put into a car with Satoruâs arm curled around your waist, as he opens the door and tucks you into the passenger seat.Â
And now you wonât know. At least not now.Â
Naoya scoffed, âAnd who are you to know anything aboutââÂ
âHave you heard of the Six Eyes Corp,â and Naoyaâs eyes narrow, âyou should have because we account for a large chunk of your business. And if that support were to disappear,â he flashes his blue eyes at him over the rim of his sunglasses, âIâd hate to tell them itâs because of this,âÂ
âYou fucking liar, like you could tell anyone anythingââÂ
Satoru chuckles, âYouâre right, I am a liar,â he runs his fingers through his hair, âI donât need to tell anyone. Except my father,âÂ
Naoyaâs sneer fades into confusion, his eyes narrowed, âDonât fucking tell meââÂ
âThen I wonât,â he steps forward, hands slipping into his pockets, âbut if you ever step in her presence again,â he jerks his head towards you in his car, âthen I will, and you donât wanna know what happens if I do,â he steps in front of Naoya, back blocking your view so you donât see him grab Naoyaâs wrist, blue eyes aflame with something far deeper than anger, âbecause it will much worse,â he squeezes Naoyaâs wrist hard making him flinch as he grits his teeth at Satoruâs smiling face, âwho knows? Maybe Iâll break your wrist next time.âÂ
He turns around, waving off the guards, as he makes his way back to his car, sliding into the driverâs seat, smile fading to concern.Â
âAre you alright, Princess?â Youâre watching those people drag Naoya away, his hateful gaze trying and failing to get a last look at you as the guard takes a hand to the back of his head to force his gaze forward.Â
âWhere are they taking him?âÂ
Satoru starts the car, the quiet rumble of the engine filling the silence of his pause, âjust to the proper authorities. He wonât bother you again,âÂ
You bit your bottom lip, eyes burning with tears â and you donât know whether if itâs embarrassment or relief, âIâm sorryââÂ
âDonât finish that sentence,â and your eyes slide to his, a soft smile on his lips, âyou donât have anything to be sorry about. Or to thank me for,â he cuts you off as your lips part, âis your wrist okay?âÂ
You glance down and see the slight redness still lingered, a final parting gift, and your other hand closes over the wrist, âit hurts a little, but Iâll ice it when I get home,âÂ
âWeâll go to a hospital to have it looked at,â and youâre shaking your head.Â
âI donât want to sitââÂ
âThen Iâll hire a doctor to come see you,â and you stare at him, as he rolls to a stop at a red lightâŠis that a pout? âI just want you to be ok, Princess, please,âÂ
You bite back a small smile, and ignore the flutter in your heart, âFine, you win, letâs go to a walk-in clinic,â and you spot his shoulders relax, âbut itâs not really fair when you give me your infamous pout,âÂ
He raises an eyebrow, ââInfamous?ââÂ
âYou used to whip that out all the time on me and on my aunt when you were a kid â it did always work,âÂ
âNot always,â he replies, as he turns into the parking for the walk-in clinic, âin fact, I remember a time that it specifically did not work,âÂ
âAnd when was that?â You tilt your head.Â
And he smiles, âWhen I asked you to be my girlfriend,â and you furrow your brow, nearly forgetting the memory, until it hits you.Â
âOh my god, the last summer I spent here,â you covered your mouth with the tips of your fingers, a chuckle on your lips, âyou were very direct,âÂ
âI could say the same about you,â and you roll your eyes.Â
âYou were a kid. You were way too young for me, you know that,â you unbuckle your seatbelt, âplus now I bet you could get any person you want. Thatâs why I was surprised why you didnât have a girlfriend,â
âLike I said, thereâs only one woman in the world for me,â his eyes find yours, cerulean bathed in sunlight, light catching across his irises, âand only one woman I ever wanted to be with,â
Oh.Â
Oh.Â
No, no, that couldnât be it â you couldnât be her, not after all this timeâ
You blink, âSatoru, you donâtââÂ
âWell our age difference isnât a problem anymore is it?â Your brain is struggling to process, lips parting with no words, âPrincess,â his fingers brush yours, gently grazing your hand, as your gaze finds his again, âwhen are you going to take me seriously?âÂ
âSatoruââÂ
âJust donât say no,â Satoru cuts you off, pulling his hand away, âdonât say no and think about it,â you open your mouth only to waver at the sight of the pout on his lips and you sigh.Â
It was hard to say no, especially right now.Â
âOkay I wonât say no,â you slip from the car, lips breaking into a wide grin, before sticking your head inside, âdonât smile like that. Itâs not a yes,â you huff, cheeks burning and stomach erupting in butterflies.Â
âNot yet,â Satoru says as you shut the door, ânot yet, Princess.âÂ
~~~
âHuh? You did what?âÂ
You loved your aunt. You really did. She and her husband had taken you in when your parents were too busy working to properly take care of you during the summers. But times like this reminded youâ
â-she truly was her motherâs sister.Â
âWell your mother was telling me that you havenât dated anyone since youâve been backââÂ
âIt's only been a month!â You had barely finished getting unpacked, and in fact, you still had at least five boxes still stacked up in the closet, âIâm not interested in dating, Iâm trying to focus on work,â you rubbed the back of your head, ânew topic, please,â as you sip on your drink.Â
And after the debacle Naoya had caused, you needed to â you had put up with the whispers and stares for a few days, but since Naoya had stayed away, the rumors faded with time. Now things had died down for the most part. Except forâ
âHas Satoru still been picking you up?â You nearly do a spit take, but instead you choke down the water, coughing, âeh? Are you okay, honey?âÂ
âIâm fine, Iâm fine,â your cheeks burn at the thought of Satoru â he was always a bold kid, but you didnât think heâd confess to being in love with you all this time. Especially now as a man â and not a kid, âyeah heâs still picking me up,âÂ
When he had confessed to you all those years ago as a young teenager, you had thought nothing of it. Except that it was a crush on his best friendâs older cousin â something that would pass easily with time. You hadnât even thought of it in all these years.Â
But now, you couldnât stop thinking about him.Â
Especially when he kept showing up to pick you up from work. And now you were stirring other sorts of rumors.Â
After he had taken you to the walk-in clinic, he had driven you home, making sure to check if your place was secure enough, and that you werenât too shaken up.Â
âAre you sure you donât want me to drop you off to Suguruâs?â he had asked, crossing his arms, âI could also drag his ass here, he owes me anyway,âÂ
âNo, no Iâm really fine,â you chewed your lip, looking down, âyou sure heâs not going to come back?â and he leans down, forcing you to meet his gaze, as he tilts his head.Â
âSweetheart, you think Iâd even leave your place if I thought there was a chance of him coming back?â he offers you a smile, and you scoff softly, shaking your head, âtrust me, he wonât be bothering you again, not while Iâm around,â and he added, âand Iâm not going anywhere.âÂ
And you didnât know what to do with the promise in his words. Because you knew he meant that â in more than one way.Â
But even so, he hadnât brought up his confession â not once.Â
âHeâs so sweet isnât he? Suguru is always so busy but Satoruâs making time to pick you instead,â your aunt gushes, and you shake your head, your aunt did have a habit of being a little hard on her son, âby the way, would you mind stopping by the house today?âÂ
âWhyâs that?âÂ
And well, how did you end up here?Â
You stood in front of the entrance to a very expensive looking building with a very intimidating doorman, with a large tote bag full of food that your aunt had insisted you drop off. She had given you his address, but by the time you arrived, you realized that you didnât even have his number. And now Suguru or your aunt werenât picking up their phones.Â
Fuck.Â
You were internally debating whether to talk to the doorman or to just go home and deal with this another time, when you heard someone speak behind you.Â
âLooking for someone?â You jump slightly, whirling when you see Satoru, hands in his pockets, a smile on his lips, as he lifts his sunglasses to meet your gaze, âdidnât think Iâd find you hanging outside my apartment building, princess,âÂ
âWell, you show up outside my workplace and Iâll be showing up outside your apartment building,â the words leave your mouth without much thought, as your cheeks burn at the implication, âI meanââÂ
âIs that supposed to discourage me from picking you up?â he grins, âDoesnât sound like a bad deal to me,âÂ
You roll your eyes, before holding up the bag, âMy aunt asked me to drop off some dishes for you. Sheâs worried youâre eating too many sweets,âÂ
He takes the bag from your hand, fingers brushing, as he shakes his head, âI shouldnât have ever told her that I had cake for dinner,â and you snort, unable to hide your giggles, âwhatâs so funny?âÂ
âI can see a lot about you has changed, but your sweet tooth is just as bad as when you were a kid,â and you see him scratch the back of his head, âis your favorite dessert still mochi?âÂ
âYou still remember that about me?â A smile pulling at his lips, and your cheeks burn, but you refuse to waver.Â
âWell, itâs hard to forget you threw up all over the rug when you ate too many,â You bite back a smile when you spot the tips of his ears burn red, as he gapes at you.Â
âDid you have to bring that up?â He mutters, a small pout on his lips, and you snort, as he canât help the curl of his lips, ânow, câmon,â his fingers brush the small of your back.Â
âSatoru, whereââ but his hand is firm as he guides you towards his building.Â
He flashes you a grin as he signs you in with the doorman, âDo you think Iâd let you come all this way without staying for dinner?âÂ
~~~
âDo you want anything to drink?â Satoruâs penthouse was nothing less than immaculate â high ceilings, pristine floors, and an interior designed living space. You swore in some places it was still shiny â and you felt very out of place in your casual wear for the weekend.Â
âJust a water,â you reply, as he opens his refrigerator and you raise an eyebrow at the fully stocked compartments, âwow,â you murmur, and heâs pulling a water and a fancy looking juice out of it.Â
âWhat was that?â He raises a brow, and you stammer a moment, âcâmon princess, share with the class,âÂ
âJust surprised your refrigerator isnât just stuffed with just desserts, sweets, and ice cream,â and he hands you your water, before sitting beside you, spread out on the couch, as he always was.Â
âOh it is, itâs just very well hidden,â and you snort, as he throws his arm over the back of the couch, âI may be an adult but Iâm not going to be a boring old geezer like my father,âÂ
âI donât think I could ever see you becoming boring, Satoru,â you chuckle, and he tilts his head.Â
âIs that a rare compliment from you, princess?â And his grin only makes your cheeks warm, as you roll your eyes.
âMore like an observation,â you reply, as your phone vibrates in your pocket, and you pull it out to check â who would be messaging you now?Â
Oh fuck.Â
âYou ok there?âÂ
No, no you werenât. Because your lovely aunt had given your number to a prospective match, and now he was texting you. A lot.Â
âItâs nothing,â you sigh, shaking your head, putting your phone on âdo not disturb.â You would have dinner first, and then youâd murder your aunt after dessert, âdo you want me to help take out dinner?âÂ
âYou expect me to believe you donât hire a chef to make these sides?â The food was spread out across the table, many of the dishes your aunt had made plated and presented, but along with sides that Satoru had made, âSuguru had made it seem as if the only thing you ever made was microwave ramen,âÂ
âWell jokes on him, I burned it the one time I tried,â he grinned, âbut I did learn to cook, I just never bothered to cook for Suguru,âÂ
âAnd whyâs that?â You take a bite of the pickled radish he had prepared.Â
âBecause Iâm not trying to impress him, am I?â And you nearly choke slightly, as you manage to swallow, âyou should know Iâm so much more than a pretty face, Princess,âÂ
You sigh, âSatoruââ
âHave you thought about what I said at all?âÂ
And you had. A lot more than you cared to admit. Especially after all he had done. Everything he had to Naoya to defend you. And just about him â how sweet heâs been, how protective, how kind, and how youâd like nothing more than to do the same for himâ
ButâŠ
âI have, but Satoru, our agesââÂ
âWeâre both adults. We both graduated. We havenât seen each other in over a decade,â his leg brushes yours as he shifts closer, âare you telling me you donât feel anything?âÂ
You didnât know how to answer that â not when you didnât really know yourself. And you always knew the answer â you knew you wanted to study abroad, you knew you had to leave Naoyaâs company, and you knew you wanted to live here â so why was this the one time you didnât? And why was he the one thing you were unsure of?Â
You bite your bottom lip, âBut, Suguruââ and he scoffs softly.Â
âAre you really thinking about Suguru right now?â he asks, âor would you rather date the guy blowing up your phone earlier?âÂ
Your eyebrows knit together, âHow did you knowââÂ
âWell I know itâs not Naoya, and I heard from Suguru that your aunt wanted to set you up,â fucking Suguruâand your lips twist into a pout, he tilts his head, not bothering to hide his smile, âif you dated me, you could get your aunt off your back,â he muses, leaning against his elbow, âshe always did say I was family, and Iâm not looking to be your brother,âÂ
Your cheeks burn at his words, âSatoru,â
âThink about it, Princess, you donât have to give me an answer now,â but his eyes flicker to your phone, âbut I know youâll find me once you meet any one of these guys your aunt sets you up with,âÂ
You grimace at your phone, picking it up to see the messages from the guy your aunt had given your number to, âfuck,â you murmur, locking your phone before tossing it away, an image of you trapped at a dinner across the most boring man alive. And then you glance up at Satoru, still a smug smile on his lips, and then back to your phone.Â
âWhatâs your plan?âÂ
~~~
âSo, I heard you turned down the boy I gave your number to,âÂ
Your aunt hardly pulled punches.Â
She never did when you and Suguru were growing up â she always knew what the two of you got up to, even if you were both sure she could never find out â she always did. Even the one time that the two of you had snuck out to get ramen on a late night, Suguruâs parents were in a dead sleep â but by the time you both snuck back in, she was waiting for both of you in the hallway. But this time, she wasnât even leading with a wind-up before swinging.Â
And then she adds, eyes narrowing, âHe said you declined because youâre dating someone,âÂ
She was going for the kill.Â
She turns to grab the whistling tea kettle, turning it off, before pouring the hot water into two cups. You force yourself not to bite your bottom lip, the smallest tell was dangerous, even with her back turned, âIs there anything he didnât tell you?â Sheâs placing the tea cups one by one on the tray, as if laying out her pieces on a board only to corner you.Â
Your aunt frowns, âHis mother told me,â great, even better â he was a mommaâs boy, and now you were starting to wonder just how many bullets did you dodge, âare you seeing someone?âÂ
You were beginning to regret this plan â and you donât know why you let Satoru talk you into it.Â
âYou want me to do what?â You stared at Satoru as if he had suggested going diving with sharks, which is not far from what he was suggesting, âtell my aunt that weâre together. No way,ïżœïżœÂ
âAw, am I that embarrassing to date, Princess?â And you roll your eyes.Â
âYes, for me,â and heâs tilting his head, âmy aunt will immediately tell my uncle and Suguru â and I donât know which one of them would kill you first,â your uncle wasnât one for words or conflict, but he had a soft spot for you â and a fist for anyone that tried to come date you without his approval.Â
âEh? Doesnât Uncle like me?â And you snort, the one sided conversations that Satoru had with your uncle that usually ended with your uncle excusing himself to get away from that âannoying moron.âÂ
âHe doesnât hate you but,â you choose your words carefully, âhe doesnât prefer you,âÂ
Satoru scoffs, crossing his arms, âWell Auntie loves me, and I had a plan for this,â and she did, she had quite the soft spot for Satoru, ever since he was a kid. You couldnât exactly blame her â he looked like an angel, even if the words that left his mouth made it seem like the contrary, his fingers brushing against a strand of your hair, âand soon Iâll make you love me too,âÂ
Fucking cocky bastard, you thought to yourself, cheeks burning at the thought of the smirk on his lips, but youâre jarred back to reality as you hear the clattering of cups and spoons. Â
âI am,â you reply, and your auntâs head whips around, the clinking of the glasses cutting through the pause, âitâs new,â you add, as she sets down the tea cups, placing the tea dispensers in each one, âI wasnât sure if I should say anything,âÂ
âWhy wouldnât you? This is wonderful,â she blinked, and her brow wrinkles, âunless itâs that Naoyaââ you flinch at the thought of him.Â
âNo, Iâm done with him,â you wave her off quickly, wrinkling your nose at the thought of that bastard, grabbing the tea cup, the scent of green tea wafting from the steam that warmed your face, as you blew air to cool it off, âitâs someone I reconnected with here,âÂ
Your aunt raises an eyebrow, âSo soon? Is it someone from work?â Again, is the word she implies with the sentence, a sharp tone that nicked your armor.Â
âNo, it isnât,â and sheâs sipping her tea, and you take a sip only to burn your tongue, âbut he is younger,âÂ
âThatâs not a problem if heâs not too much younger â how old is he?â and this was exactly why you hadnât wanted to tell your aunt, it was more of an interrogation than a conversation.Â
âHeâs about Suguruâs age,â and sheâs tilting her head, âSuguru introduced us,â and that wasnât a lie â it was true â both in the past and now.Â
âReally? And Sugu is okay with you dating his friend?â Your aunt may be gossip and a meddler, but she wasnât a fool, your hesitation is your end, âand I assume youâre telling me all this to get me off your case and to ask not to tell Suguru,â she sighs.Â
âAuntieââÂ
âYou know I donât like lying for either of youââÂ
âButââÂ
âNo, I canâtââÂ
âHow about lying for me?â Satoru stands in the doorway, head tilted, a smile on his lips. And your aunt blinks before she slowly puts the puzzle pieces together, a mix of emotions crossing her expression â confusion, disbelief, and maybe a hint of joy, before she settled on a neutralÂ
âSatoruââÂ
He frowns, âAuntie, you know Suguru will kill me for dating his cousin, please,â and then he does what he does best â pouting.Â
And your aunt breaks â with a one hit-KO.Â
âYou must have been blessed by some needlessly annoying god,â you murmur as he walks you back to your place, sun gleaming as it gave off its last rays of light before setting for the night, âbecause I donât know how you still get her to fall for that,âÂ
âI was born blessed,â and you snort, as you catch sight of his smile out of the corner of your eye, âand speaking of which, whenâs our first date?âÂ
âStraight to the point, huh?â You stop walking, hands in your pockets, âSatoruââÂ
âDonât tell me youâre about to launch into another speech about how you canât date me,â he gives an exaggerated sigh, âI could go back to your aunt and tell her how you broke my heart and let her pull out list of aunties who have sons who are excited to meet youââÂ
âAlright, fine, a date, but one thing first,â you step close to him, making his breath catch, pretty blues finding your gaze, the very same he would love to get lost in, before they flicker down to your lips. And he swears you can probably hear his heart beating out of his chest, thumping at the bony bars of his ribcage, and he hates it, hates how you have him twisted around your finger without trying, âPrincessââÂ
You reach for him, fingers nearly about to brush his cheek, his eyes fluttering, before you flick his forehead, âow!âÂ
âI was just going to ask when our first date is going to be, but if you rather I go on a bunch of blind datesââ and heâs shaking his head, rubbing his forehead all the same, âthen do you have any ideas?âÂ
He grins, âPlenty, but thereâs one in particular.âÂ
~~~~
âAn amusement park?âÂ
He sat next to you, driving, hand on the console and you couldnât help but brush your arm against his each time you moved â and you felt as if he did it on purpose.Â
He raises an eyebrow, stealing a glance out of the corner of his eye, âUh-huh, got a problem, Princess?âÂ
âNo Iâm just surprised, we went to plenty of these as kids,â you glanced at him, his eyes concentrated on the road, fingers curling a little tighter around the steering wheel.Â
You had raised an eyebrow at his choice, but now that you were hereâŠit wasnât a bad pick.Â
You hadnât been to one in years â not since your summers with Suguru. The screams in the distance told you there was a rollercoaster not far off, the syrupy sweetness of sugar somehow emanated from every inch of air, and the park was filled to the brim with families and couples.Â
You glance at Satoru, a plain t-shirt and shorts, and somehow he still looked as if he stepped off a page of a menâs style magazine. He looked around, his eyes landing on a vendor selling cotton candy, and you hid your chuckle.Â
âCâmon,â you took his hand, leading him over without a second thought, and youâre grabbing a giant cotton candy for him, made into a flower by the vendor. Satoruâs practically vibrating with excitement, slinking his hand around to sneak the vendor money before you even had a chance, âI wanted to payââÂ
âYou think Iâd make my date pay?â He takes a bite out of his cotton candy, sugar sticking to his lips even as he nearly inhales a petal, âeven the arranged set ups should do that much,â but itâs hard to take him seriously with blue sugar all over his mouth, âwhat?âÂ
You snort, grabbing a wet nap from your purse,âWell, youâd be surprised,â and you wipe his face, fingers cupping his chin, âsome guys are a little immature,â and he stares back, and you swear you see a flush settle over his cheeks, before he turns away to wipe his lips.Â
âNot me,â he mumbles, tips of his ears burning red, and you bite your bottom lip, cute.Â
âShould we find a ride to go on?â he immediately grins at that, offering his arm this time, and you take it, a smile tugging at your lips.Â
Maybe this wasnât so bad after all.Â
~~~
Oh you were wrong.Â
So wrong.Â
âI changed my mind, I donât want to get on,â and before you can leave a hand catches you by the wrist gently, blue eyes judging over his rimless sunglasses, âSatoruââÂ
âItâs just a rollercoaster,â just a rollercoaster? No, it was literally your death. You stared up at the contraption above you, the echoing screams growing louder as the line crept forward â akin to a rickety boat that Charon would wade you across into hell itself.Â
âNo, I canâtââ you shake your head.Â
âCâmon it wonât be that badââÂ
âSo you admit itâs going to be bad,â and heâs biting back a smile, âwhat?âÂ
âI just never really saw you being scared of anything, Princess,â he sighed loudly, âI guess Iâll have to ride it all alone,â but that only serves to make many women (and men) stare at him as if to offer him their company.Â
âYou have options,â and he shakes his head, his hand outstretched as the two of you enter the final stretch of the line.Â
âLike I said, sweetheart, thereâs only ever been one option for me,â and your fingers graze his with several second thoughts, but when his fingers laced with yours, you knew there was no turning back.Â
âI didnât know you could scream that loud,âÂ
You grinned at a shaken up Satoru, throat probably raw and aching as he frowns, face turned away, âIâm not used to the speed, unlike you, from how I heard you drive,â and you bite back a laugh, as he fails to hide his flush from you, his ears burning red.Â
Your chuckle is a badly disguised cough, âAre you pretending to be this way to make me feel better?â You tease, and heâs crossing his arms.Â
âNo way Iâd let myself look so lame in front of you, Iâm no better than Ijichi,â and you raise an eyebrow. Ijichi was a boy in Suguru and Satoruâs class when they were kids â one that Satoru loved to complain about being slow.Â
âYou still think about him?â
âHeâs my assistant,â and you snort at the thought of Satoru still hassling that poor guy.Â
âI hope you pay him well,â heâs officially pouting again.
âI didnât know it would be that intense!â you tilt your head, as the two of you find a corner of the park thatâs not so crowded and riddled with children running amok, and you watch him down a sugary soda drink he had bought from one of the food stalls.Â
âYou act as if youâve never been to an amusement park,â heâs quiet for a second too long, and your eyebrows knit together, âbut SuguruââÂ
âYou guys would go every summer, but it was when I had my prep classes on the weekends,â he runs his fingers through his white locks, âI would have skipped when I was older, but by the time I had stopped caring what my father thought of me, you had already gone to college and Suguruâs family stopped going,âÂ
You frown â you knew Satoru didnât have the best upbringing â yes he had every opportunity at his fingertips, all the money in the world that you couldnât even fathom, but you could count the number of times heâs mentioned his parents on one hand.Â
âI was always so jealous when you guys would go,â he sighed, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips, âit seems silly nowââÂ
âNo, itâs not,â you cut him off, shaking your head, âyou should have been allowed to be a kid,âÂ
He chuckles, a noise that sticks in your chest, âWell, more than anything, I wanted to go with you,â his cerulean eyes find yours, a soft smile on his lips, âthank you for indulging me, princess,âÂ
âWell, youâre the one doing me a favor, right?â you tease, getting to your feet, âcâmon we have plenty of other things to do â I saw a booth with candy apples not too far over thereââ you point, and his fingers are already finding yours as he nearly drags you along, a laugh caught in your throat as you canât help but smile at his excitement.Â
Itâs infectious, you thought as the two of you got in line, Satoru nearly vibrating with need for his sugar fix, and you shook your head, biting back a laugh, just like him.Â
~~~
âYou donât have to walk me home,â the sun had long sunk by the time you both had left, staying to catch a glimpse of the fireworks before heading back, âitâs not that far from here,âÂ
The two of you had opted to take public transport to the amusement park, knowing there would be next to nowhere to park or rather only the middle of nowhere to park. The cicadas were already beginning their symphony, filling the relative silence of the neighborhood now, except for the chatter heard from inside houses or outside in gardens.Â
âWho would carry your loot home?â and he tilts the giant plushie to show his unimpressed face, âyou barely wanted to carry this at the park, even after you begged me to win it, and I did, in one shot,âÂ
And he did, he had won you a giant polar bear plushie nearly as tall as you were in his hands, along with several bags of sweets he had bought on the way out, just to snack on tonight (and you seriously wondered if he ate anything that was not coated in mochi, chocolate, or sugar).Â
âI donât remember begging you â I asked you,â you cross your arms, and you know heâs smiling behind the bear, using the plushie to hide his goddamn smirk, âi did! I just asked if we could try to win itââÂ
âAnd I remember the phrases âpleaseâ and âi need itâ being involved in the conversation,â you felt your cheeks burn, âyou still like these things, huh?âÂ
âWhat do you mean?â and he moves the polar bear under one arm, the bags in the other so you could actually see his face.Â
âYou always loved plushies, you had that one from your parents that you kept in your room with you all the timeââÂ
âPanda, I was very original with that name,â you shake your head, before your gaze turns to him, his sunglasses gleaming on his head in the low light of the streetlamps, âI canât believe you remembered that,âÂ
âThereâs barely a thing Iâd forget when it comes to you,â and you bite your lip, heart squeezing at his words, âyou look like you wanna say something, princess?âÂ
You reached the outside of your apartment building just as night fell, humidity still clinging to the thick summer air. The light of the lobby spilling out into the sidewalk through the glass doors, just as the streets grew quieter.Â
And you do â youâre not sure if you should ask it â a question posed on a precipice of uncertainty that you didnât know if you wanted to step off of. But you know you had to, at one point or another.Â
You could just go inside, brush off his question, and leave the day at that. But a nagging question had wriggled itâs way to the forefront of your mind, and you knew it wouldnât leave your mind until it left your tongue.Â
You chew on your lip, âYou say these things so easily when it comes to me, but how are you so sure?âÂ
And he shrugs, his eyes not leaving yours for even a second, âI just know,âÂ
âBut how?â Heâs shaking his head, stepping forward, until heâs a breath away, your eyes flickering from his gaze to his lips for a split second, your own air caught in your traitorous throat.Â
âInstead of wondering why I feel why I do, I think you should wonder why youâre so unsure,â and his fingers graze your cheek, tilting your chin upwards, his touch sending heat to the far reaches of your body, and heâs leaning forward. Your eyes nearly flutter shut, as his words nearly warm your lips, but no, instead they brush against your ear, âbecause if I was still just that kid to you that I was all those years ago, then why arenât you pulling away?âÂ
Your eyes blink open, as he pulls away, grin on his lips, as he hands you your polar bear plushie, âSatoruââ and you donât even know what you want to say â you want to argue, you want to say something, anything, but nothing comes out but his name.Â
âYou shouldnât let a guy get that close, Princess, especially not twice,â he sighs, lips still curled, âbecause if you let me that close again, I wonât be leaving without a kiss,âÂ
And you could only stare after him as he left â fingers touching your ear he had whispered against, lips pursing, as you huff, cheeks burning as you step inside your building, burying your face in white fluff of the polar bear that looked a little too much like someoneâs hair.Â
âIdiot.âÂ
~~~~
Youâre avoiding me.Â
Satoru wasnât wrong. You were â but not exactly on purpose. Or at least you didnât think so. It had been the third time you had turned him down in the last week. Although, todayâs wasnât intentionally so. You stewed in a corner of the bar, eyes glancing at your phone â what was really an appropriate time to leave a work-sanctioned event without looking completely anti-social?Â
It was never really fun coming to these events alone â but you knew if Satoru was here, youâd actually have a good time. You were almost surprised he hadnât shown up at your place or your work to see you â all he had done is text you. And why did that almost disappoint you?
You checked the time again, met with the notification of Satoruâs message again before you swiped it away out of sight. But he wasnât out of mind. He hadnât been for days. You rubbed at your temples â you hadnât gotten a good nightâs sleep since your day at the amusement park, thoughts spinning in circles and it was all his fault. You had done everything to get him out of your head â minimize contact, not see him, even drag yourself to an event like this â but still, you stared at your phone screen again, the ghost of his words still warming your ear.Â
You couldnât stop thinking about him.Â
Fuck. What were you doing? You took a long swig of your drink, hoping the alcohol could erase some of that night out of your mind. The last thing you needed to be thinking about was Satoru Gojo.Â
âSo whoâs the guy who has been picking you up after work?âÂ
You nearly choked on your drink. Really? You downed your drink, hoping you can ignore the question if you take long enough downing the searing concoction that the bartender had handed you, maybe they would let you off the hook. But as you finish the drink, you only find your coworkers staring back at you still. The hush that fell over this group of women was far too reverent for a conversation about a man.Â
âHeâs my little cousinâs best friend,â you reply, ordering another drink â you were going to need it, and the women exchange glances, fake smiles plastered on their lips.Â
âHeâs not your boyfriend?â and a strange twinge settles in your chest at the question, poking and prodding your tongue to say no, no he wasnât, but you almost didnât want to.Â
âNo, he isnât,â and the women grin amongst each other, âif you would excuse meââÂ
âWait, wait, we just started talking, come on now,â you sigh internally, as they order another round of drinks as they corral you to their table, maybe after this you could finally leave.Â
~~~
âWhatâs got you so down?â Suguru slides into a seat across from Satoru â Satoru who couldnât stop checking his phone to see if you had replied.Â
âWhat do you mean?â he sighs, he shouldnât have sent that text earlier. He shouldnât push so much, heâs already pushed enough with his comment. God, why the fuck did he say that? What if you thought he was a creepâwhat if you thought he was disgusting? What ifâÂ
âYou look pathetic,â Suguru sips his coffee in his hand, scrolling through his phone, âwho is it?âÂ
Satoru sits up, locking his phone, tucking it away as if it would incriminate him â flashing your name across the screen like it was plastered over his mind, âwhat do you mean?âÂ
âIâve never seen you like this, you keep checking your phone â you barely can keep track of it most of the time,â he shrugs his shoulders, âI figured you must have grew a dick and started liking someone,âÂ
âLook whoâs talking â whenâs the last time you dated someone again?â And Satoru catches the crumpled up paper Suguru tosses, âdonât get on your high horse if you donât want the same thing back,âÂ
âAt least Iâm not waiting like a lovesick puppy over my phone,â Suguru mutters, taking another sip of his drink, and thatâs when a phone ringing cuts through the silence â that was your ringtone, the very one he set to know when youâd call â just so he wouldnât miss it, âlooks like your waiting by the door paid off,âÂ
âFuck off,â Satoru mumbled, walking off with his phone as he picked up, âhello?âÂ
âSuguru!â Satoruâs brow furrowed at the sound of your cousinâs name leaving your lips, âcan you pick me up plzââ your words were slurred, sounds of chatter cutting through the background.Â
âPrincââ you hiccuped, a small groan leaving your lips.Â
âYou canât tell Satoru, heâll come here and my coworkers wonât stop asking me about him,â you sigh again, mumbling, âwhy does he have to be soâugh, itâs not fair for someone to be that prettyââÂ
Pretty?Â
His cheeks burned, as he covered his mouth with his hand, trying and failing to bite back a stupid smile on his lips â itâs not fair for you to be this cute. He would have preferred âhandsomeâ or âperfectâ or âyour boyfriendâ â but he could settle for pretty.Â
âAnyway!â You cut his thoughts off, âcould you come get me?â And Satoru bit his lip, glancing at Suguru â he could tell Suguru to get you, he could, but the odds of you letting something slip to Suguruâ- âremember you canât tell SatoruââÂ
âwas really high.Â
âDonât worry, Iâll be right there, and I wonât tell him,â he adds, because you already had.Â
~~~
âHow did you find out where I work?â Satoru didnât know after so many years that there were still new things to learn about you still â and one thing he had learned tonight was that â- you pouted at him, stumbling slightly as he came to a stop in front of your building â you were really whiny when drunk.Â
âI picked you up there, remember?â he lightly flicked your forehead that only made you huff, ânow do you have your keys?âÂ
âDo you know how annoying you are?â And he has to bite back a laugh at your scrunched up face.Â
âI do, sweetheart, but Iâd love to hear you tell me,â you scoff, crossing your arms only to immediately uncross to dig through your purse for your keys, tossing out several things that Satoru catches or picks up.Â
âYou come to my work and pick me up, and act all swoon worthy, and perfect, and you look like thatââÂ
âLike what?â he canât hide his smile this time, and your brow furrows as you pull out your keys, lips opening and closing, until you purse them.Â
âLike that,â you grumble as you teeter on your feet again, before he supports you, and he swore he heard you mumble, âso disgustingly handsome,âÂ
And heâs glad your eyes are half closed and focused ahead, otherwise he knew youâd smack him for the grin on his face.Â
âOi, donâtââ and you donât listen, nearly falling over as you unlock your door, whole body weight leaned against it, but his arm slips around you, holding you up from face planting into your floor, âyouâre gonna break your neck, Princess,âÂ
âYou wouldnât let that happen,â You break from his grip and lean up close, your breath warming his lips, your gaze half lidded, ânot when you love me,â and his heart thuds against his ribs, rattling his lungs and bones alike, âthatâs what you said, right?âÂ
You werenât making this easy, not with your fingers now sliding up his chest, toying with the top button of his shirt, âI didââÂ
âSo are you going to prove it?â And the floor feels as if it slips out from underneath him, and all he feels is you, only you â the brush of your fingers against his chest, the faint scent of lavender from your perfume that your aunt had gifted you, and the caress of your gaze against his lips, the same eyes he could easily lose himself in â if he wasnât careful.Â
But he had to be careful â because it was you.Â
âButââ
âBut what?â it would be so easy to kiss you, when you were only half a breath away, lips parted and gaze asking him to do so, to just lean inâbut he canât.
Not like this.Â
His thumb runs down your lips, your eyes fluttering shut, fingers sliding to cup your jaw, and he leans in â feeling your breath catchâ
But he only flicks your forehead, drawing a soft yelp from you.Â
âIâd like you to remember our first kiss,â and heâs corralling you into bed after that, your body keeling over into the soft mattress, as heâs able to wriggle you under the comforter. Your body relaxes into the plush bed, eyes shut, as your muscles loosen and unwind, while Satoru stands over you, the exact opposite â muscles taut and mind whirring.Â
Fuck.
âYou never make it easy, do you, Princess?â he mutters under his breath, swallowing thickly as he scrubs a hand down his face, âgood night,â his fingers ghost over the swell of your cheek, before turning to leaveâ
And your fingers caught him around the wrist, eyes half open as you stared up at him, a pout on your lips but now for an entirely different, but somehow the same reasonâ
âStay,â one word nearly had him crumble right there â and how pathetic was that? Maybe Suguru was right â he was no better than a puppy at your beck and call â waiting by the door for his master to return. And he almost didnât mind â if you always came home to him. Â
âPrincess, you have to go to sleepââ he could easily break from your grip, fingers wrapped loosely around his wrist, but your grasp may have been very well made of iron with how you had pinned him into place â an entomologist pinning their butterfly in their display.Â
âDonât wanna sleep alone,â a slight whine in your voice makes him waver again, but he had a problem with sleeping beside youâ
He shifted in place, adjusting himself, a somewhat big problem thst wouldnât go away â no matter how many times he thought about Gakuganji in his underwear â especially when you were looking at him like that, half dressed in bed with a pout on your lips and want in your gazeâwant that he never thought would be for him.Â
âPlease?â And thatâs all it takes, his thumb rubbing against your fingers â because he could never say no to you.Â
~~~~
âAre you okay?âÂ
Satoru was never left alone â not since he had managed to wander off alone when he was five. It took several hours and a dozen security guards to find him at a bakery, having his third piece of cake. And when he was brought home, he was told just how many ways that could have went wrong â what could have happened to him, and most of all â how badly it could have made his parents look.Â
After that, he couldnât remember a time that his hand wasnât clutched by a caretaker or escort â from school to home to anywhere else he wished to go. But he never wished to go anywhere, not with a stranger at his side.Â
It was only when he met Suguru that he was allowed to go out without someone hovering over his shoulder. But without warning â warning that if any incident would mean he would be stuck back in his daily life. But that meant when he got distracted in the pastry section of the supermarket â looking for the exclusive mochi he desperately wanted â he found himself alone, with you and Suguru nowhere in sight.Â
âSuguru?â Satoru called, head whipping around, chest thudding as the white noise of the market grew louder. His gaze falls, ears ringing with all that could go wrong, back to the life with no one at his side, only strangersâÂ
âToru?â Satoruâs gaze snaps up, your hands on your hips, your head tilted, âyou okay?â And heâs quickly wiping away his tears, sniffling softly, your hand finding the top of his head, âi got you something,â and you hold out a mochi in front of him, and he blinks.Â
âYou found it?â Heâs blinking and your lips curve into a pretty smile.Â
âAnything for you, Satoru,â your fingers run through his hair, âSatoru? SatoruââÂ
His eyes flutter open, finding you leaning over him, your tousled hair in messy tangles, âfinally awake?â And a soft chuckle on your lips as you speak, rubbing your eye, flinching as you rub your temples, âwhat exactly happened last night?âÂ
âYou mean besides you calling me pretty?â And your jaw drops, biting your lip, âand begging me to stay? Didnât know you liked my company that much, Princess,âÂ
You glare at him, âwell with charm like thatââ you mutter, when it occurs to you, âwhy did you sleep on the floor? And with that?â You point to the polar bear plushie he used as a pillow last night.Â
Not his most preferred bedfellow.Â
Always full of surprises, his cheeks burn, and he only can hope it doesnât show on his face, hidden behind a cheeky smile, âDidnât know you were so eager to share a bed with me, sweetheart,â and you roll your eyes, âI have to warn you, I have a tendency to cuddleââ and you smack him with a pillow, he sighs, âsomeone wasnât too keen on sharing her pillows with me, so this was the best I could do,â
You snort, as you take the offending plushie from him, âDid you do something to him?â
He tilts his head, âEh?â And you hold up the polar bear plush, âwhat could I do to him?â Â
âSomeone did threaten to toss him out into the ocean so he could join his family,âÂ
âI can do a lot of things, but I canât solve global warming, Princess,â and you bite back a laugh, âI was on my best behavior with him last night, even though heâs a shitty pillow,â and you didnât have to know how he had slapped him a couple times.Â
But even so, you bite your lip, looking down as you toy with your comforter, âwhy did you come?âÂ
He blinks, âwhat do you mean?âÂ
âYou could have sent Suguru, but you came, and you stayed, on the floor,â and he curls his lips.Â
âWell what kind of fake boyfriend would I be?â And you roll your eyes, still waiting for an answer, and his voice grows soft, âyou know why, Princess,âÂ
âI do, but I donât,â you murmur, fidgeting with your blanket as you chewed on your bottom lip, âmy coworkers couldnât stop talking about you last night, they kept saying how handsome you are, how wonderful, how perfectââÂ
âShould I be less handsome or perfect? Because donât know if thatâs possibleââ and it earns him another whack with the pillow, but he only catches it, âyou say that like itâs a bad thing,âÂ
âItâs not, but I donât know why after all these years, you still want me,â you sigh, words pushing past your lips, âyou could have anyone, Satoru,âÂ
âIf I just wanted anyone, I wouldnât have fell in love with you,â and you bury your face in your pillow, gaze peeking down at him.Â
âYou say that with such ease, how do you know what love even is? I donât know if I know what it is,â you add, mumbling under your breath, and his eyes canât help but follow the way your fingers run through your hair.Â
âI donât think I need to know when I feel it,â Satoru sat up, dangerously close to you, within reach yet so far out of it, âdo you need to know to see the sky is blue? Do you need to know to feel pain when you burn yourself?âÂ
âDidnât know you were taking philosophy classes with Suguru,â and he snorts, shaking his head, âSatoruââÂ
âLike I said before, Princess, just give me some time,â his fingers reach for you, and your breath catches, before he slowly smoothed your hair out, âand Iâll win you over,âÂ
Your eyes flicker to his, and god, he wanted nothing more than to lean over and kiss you, but he couldnât. He had to be patient. He couldnât push you â he wanted you to want him just as much. He would make you fall into his arms willingly, and youâd kiss him â not the other way around.Â
âWant some breakfast?â your lips curl into a soft smile, the very same smile that he had fallen for time and time again.Â
âYou offering to cook me breakfast?âÂ
âJust wondering what would shut you up the quickest,â and he has half a mind to reply with âyour lips,â but he decides against it, âpancakes?âÂ
~~~
âI can feel you staring,âÂ
Even with your back turned to the stove, bowl in hand as you whipped the batter with the whisk, hoping your laser focus on the pancakes would help you distract yourself. But it did little when you could feel his gaze sticking in your back, spotlights on every little movement â something that wouldnât have bothered you before â but after last nightâ
This was why you never drank.Â
You covered your face with the back of your hand, cheeks burning, as you placed the bowl down, what had your life become?Â
âCâmon you canât just let a guy like that go,â one of the women from work nudged you â you couldnât remember if her name was Kanae or Kanao â handing you a refill of the drink you had gotten, âhe certainly seems into you from the way he looks at you,âÂ
âIf he isnât, Iâd take him off your hands,â Saki slurred, nearly spilling her drink, âhe seems to like you. Is there really nothing between you two?âÂ
âNot really,â you sipped your drink, if confessing to you after over a decade was nothing, âheâs just a friend,â and he was â a friend who was your fake boyfriend.Â
âYou know with how you started, I thought your love life would be a lot more interesting,â Kanae sighed far too loudly, as she took another long swig of her cocktail.Â
âWell weâve talked a lot about what you guys are but we havenât asked how you feel,â Saki grinned, sloppily drunk yet somehow masterful with her questions, âhow do you feel about him?âÂ
And how did you? If someone asked you a few weeks ago, you would said he was just your little cousinâs best friend, a childhood friend â and you wouldnât have thought twice. But now, he has given you so much to think about. Would you be this hesitant if you two havenât met as kids? If he wasnât Suguruâs best friend? If he didnât seem so far out of your league?Â
Maybe. But you were never good at going for things you wanted â or accepting things as they were. Even with Naoya, you knew you should have broken up with him â you knew he was toxic, and yet you stayed â because it was easier.Â
And maybe it was easier to push Satoru away than to face how you felt.
Fuck, you were too drunk for this â you needed to get out of here, âexcuse me,â you manage to slip away into the bathroom, washing your face, leaning over the sink.Â
You held your forehead, steadying yourself against the cold porcelain, fingers digging into the rim of the sink â eyes burning as your head throbs, a wave of nausea pulsing through your stomach. Fuck, there was no way that you could get home alone.Â
You pulled out your phone and scrolled â who the fuck would you call? The only people you knew were your family andâŠ
Nope. No. Not an option.Â
You found Suguruâs number and tried to text, only to find your eyes blurring, and you knew if you sent a message he would be holding over any typos or fuck ups over your head forever.Â
You found his name, your head spinning as you clicked and called.Â
He didnât pick up.
âFucker,â you mumble, trying to hit his name again, your head spinning, and finally someone picked upâ
And then you woke up in bed. A soft groan fell from your lips, knives prodding at every inch of your brain, memory blended and choppy as you drew into consciousness. You were home, your eyes fluttering open to sunlight illuminating your bedroom, a dull stiffness in your muscles that makes you stretch, turning on your side only to be met with a sight.Â
Satoru Gojo. Asleep on your floor, cuddling the plush polar bear he won for you. You stared, blinking, wondering if blinking away the sleep would somehow blink away Satoru too (it did not unfortunately). So you did the only other thing you could think of â take a picture.Â
As you glanced from the image to him, bits and pieces came back â from your drunken ramblings on the phone to the ones in person, your cheeks burning as you buried your face in your comforter before staring down at him. Was it possible to die of embarrassment? You were really testing those limits.Â
But even so, as you watched him sleep on top of the plushie, the only thing you could wonder was why had he stayed? He could have left after you fell asleep, or even before that, there wasnât much you could have done to stop him. But he stayed, even on the floor, rather than anywhere else.Â
âSo?â you didnât need to turn from the stove to know he was grinning, âcanât I enjoy the show, Princess?âÂ
âIf youâre enjoying it so much, how about you become part of it and help?â you offer him a spatula, as he makes his way over, leaning over you, his body brushing against yours, but you ignore it all the same, eyes focused on the task instead on the warmth blooming from his touch, âIâll spoon and you flip,âÂ
The two of you work in silence, as you spoon batter onto the griddle and he flips the pancakes â and itâs only when youâre both just about done that you glance over, and his lips are curled, âWhat are you smiling about?â and he shakes his head, as he flips the last of the pancakes onto the stack, âSatoruââÂ
âI just never really have made breakfast like this before, or had someone make it for me,â he scratches the back of his head, âmy parents always had chefs or maids or someone make me all my meals, and even when I moved out, I always cooked alone or bought my meals out,â he shrugs, as he turned the stove off, âit reminds me when youâd make me and Suguru instant ramen after we came in from playing outside,âÂ
You snort, âYou remember that?â You would get stuck making ramen for the two of them, tossing some seasoning and sauces into the mixture along with an egg, âI always put too much black pepper. I thought you hated it,âÂ
âBut I always finished,â he added, and he did, even if his cheeks were burning red and eyes watering by the end of the bowl. Your lips curl at the memory of him at the age of twelve downing an entire glass of water and spilling it all over the front of himself.Â
âWell I can make a lot more than instant noodles now,â you have Satoru set the table while you start to clean up, turning on the sink. You hear the clink of plates and utensils behind you, as he sets them down on the table, but you can feel his gaze fall over you even as your back is turned.Â
âIâm going to need some proof â there were a few times you almost burned those noodles,â and you pout, turning with your hands on your hips.Â
âOh you want me to prove it now?â You turn, running your finger discreetly up the side of the used mixing bowl, finger full of batter as you walk up to him, hands behind your back.Â
âAnd howâre you gonna do that, Princess?â the corner of his lip quirks upwards, as you step close up to him, and god, heâs fucking tall â and it kind of pissed you off â all these boys shoot up like fucking weeds, but it didnât mean you couldnât knock him down a bit.Â
âClose your eyes, and find out,â he raises an eyebrow, suspicious, but still he obeys â good boy, the praise runs through your head to the tip of your tongue, but you bite it and the words back alike. And youâre so close, you can see his snow white eyelashes fan out against his cheeks, and heâs so unfairly pretty,Â
For now.Â
Youâre so close, you nearly feel his body warmth radiate your skin â and you swear you hear his breath hitch â and it would be so easy to lean forwardâ âPrincess â whatââÂ
And then he gasps when you smear pancake batter down his cheek, a snort leaving your lips as he gapes at you, mouth ajar. He blinks, his hand reaching for his cheek, before he stops when his eyes flit to your batter caked finger, âYouââÂ
Youâre giggling, trying to stop yourself from doubling over at his expression, âWhat? I just wanted to give you a taste of my cooking before you tried it,â and he frowns at you for a moment, before his lips curl deviously, tilting his head.Â
âIs that right?â and his fingers run through the smeared batter, caking his finger tips before heâs stepping towards you, âthen itâs fair, if I make you taste it tooââ and youâre trying to back up, giggles leaving your lips, but he catches you by the wrist.Â
âSatoruââ you whine as youâre trying to squirm away, âlet go!â but he only pulls you close, your body nearly bumping against his â and it was your turn for your breath to catch, cerulean irises stealing the air from your lungs as you drowned in them, âheyââÂ
âJust how much are you gonna tempt me, Princess?â and you should step away, but his fingers around your wrist send warmth blooming down your arm, straight to your chest, and you canât bring yourself to step away.Â
âAnd how am I doing that?â His fingers tug you closer, thumb brushing against the inside of your wrist, before he leans close.Â
âYou know exactly how,â and your glance flickers from his gaze to his lips, and back again, resisting the urge to shut your eyes â but you donât have to, when he smears the batter all over your cheek.Â
âToru!â You stare at him, and heâs laughing, as you grab at him, only for him to slip away, âIâm gonna kill youââ and you move towards the sink, batter covered bowl still inside, âoh just you waitââÂ
But your beeline is cut short by his grip, arm darting around your middle, as he pulls you back. You gasp, struggling in his arms in vain â fuck his stupidly toned arms, âyou shouldnât start something youâre not ready to finish,â his words are said against your ear, but they rush down your body in almost a shudder.Â
His lips are an inch or two from yours, you would barely need to lean to reach them â the words of your coworkers ring in your earsÂ
âWho said I wasnât?â His eyes find yours, his fingers tilting your chin ever so slightly, when your phone rings.Â
You jerk slightly at the sound, your eyes flickering to the name across the screen and see Suguruâs name flashing on the screen.Â
âItâs Suguru,â and Satoru lets go of you, as you make your way to the phone, and you swear you hear him mutter something under his breath, âwhat did you say?â you donât pick up the phone but a few texts come through anyway.Â
âNothing,â he scratched the back of his head, âwhat did he say?âÂ
âHeâs asking if I wanna come over for dinner tonight, said youâre gonna be there too?â And you raise an eyebrow, as Satoru fishes his phone out of his pocket and glances at it.Â
âApparently I am,â you turn on the faucet, cleaning your face off, offering Satoru a damp tissue. âGuess this wonât be the last meal weâre sharing today,âÂ
âGuess not,â his fingers brush yours when taking the tissue, trying to clean the batter off his cheek but only spreads the mess. You snort, as you take the napkin from him holding his face by the chin, âso howâre we gonna play it?âÂ
âPlay what?â You toss the napkin away, both of you taking a seat at the table.Â
âDid you forget?â He stabs a pancake and places it in his plate, âwe told your aunt weâre dating â and that weâre hiding it from Suguru, and you just agreed to dinner with both of them,âÂ
Fuck.Â

Wolf hybrid pack thought you were an innocent little bun, walking through town, bending over so they could catch a glimpse of your white panties, sometimes your skirt would even get caught on your fluffy bunny tail, letting them catch a whiff of your scent.
You always smelled so good, they couldnât resist following after you.
They watched as you plump thighs squished together as you sat down at your favorite cafe, licking an ice cream cone and letting the white cream fall onto your cleavage.
And sometimes theyâd be lucky enough for you to forget to wear panties, such a cute, forgetful little bun.
In reality, every little accident was a purposeful action meant to tease and coax the wolves to finally grab and mount your cute self.
Today you were feeling extra horny, your fingers just werenât enough to satisfy you⊠so you let your juices run down your thighs, running back to the village without your panties.
It was bordering on mating season, and god you wanted to be fucked so badly! Wolf hybrids truly didnât understand⊠they saw you as a fragile, innocent little thing when all you wanted was to feel all their knots fill you up with hot and sticky cum!
So you wander into town, smelling like a bitch in heat. You donât bother with panties, only spritzing on some perfume.
Instantly you were being followed. You caught sight of a pair of wolf ears darting through the stalls, a wagging tail peaking out from behind a tree. The pack was on your tail.
You tried your best not to just bend over and wiggle your bottom right there. It was taking everything you had to ignore your instincts to mate and let yourself be mounted, especially with it being so close to mating season!
After you noticed quite a few wolf hybrids were after you, you settled onto a bench, keeping your chubby thighs open so the smell of your sipping wet pussy wafted through the air.
There were eyes on you from very angle, watching as you lifted your skirt. You put on a show, your soft nose twitching as your played with your fat pussy.
Some of them were getting braver, and the smell of wolf hybrid musk filled your nose. It got you off, seeing all those bobbing red cocks ready to fuck into your pretty little bunny cunt.
Before you knew it, you were being pinned down, your small holes stretched with a fat cock. It made you mewl, your fluffy cotton tail wagging furiously as another cock pressed against your soft lips.
After a while you lost count on how many cocks had entered your fat pussy, how many creampies that filled you up. All you could think about was how good it felt to be a completely helpless little bunny, trapped under yet another horny wolf that was ready to breed you~
It was bliss, being manhandled into another position, being completely stuffed and filled. You couldnât be happierâŠ

MAIN POST | part i. > part ii. > part ii.
You didn't know if it was a blessing in disguise, or a curse. Perhaps a cruel joke the world was playing on you like it always did. Yet here you were again, your knee high fluffy socks skidding across the oakwood flooring of your room, scouring through your closet like a deranged cat looking for something to wear on today's decor run.
"Shoes, shoesâŠI'm missing shoes," digging through the furthest corner in the enclosed space of your closet, you spotted an unopened box on one of the shelves. It was a simple pair of heeled, white mary janes with a heart buckle. You got it 2 birthdays ago but never saw an opportunity to wear them, until now.
Your mother told you that Toji was picking you up at 10:30 am despite you telling her that you would go after lunch.
'He's a busy man. He said this is the only time he's free today.'
"Yeah, of course he is. Always busy doing God knows what." Sighing, you decided on your ensemble for this morning. It was rushed and unplanned, but it would have to do.
Looking at the time on your phone, you saw that it was 10:15. You've still got 15 more minutes left till Toji arrives to pick you up. Letting out a breath, you sat on your bed, shoe cladded toes tapping the floor as your knee bounced, restlessly waiting.
Going over to your floor length mirror, you checked over your choice of outfit once more. It wasn't too cold of a day, so you opted for a knitted long sleeved, off-the-shoulder, cream toned sweater dress that hugged your curves. With its hem stopping just right underneath your ass.
You were debating between thigh highs or leg warmers, but decided leg warmers looked better scrunched down on your ankles with the shoes you opted to wear. You didnât do much with your hair last night since you were only at home, but since you were going out in public today, you felt like doing something with it. Something cute specifically, as you opened your vanity drawer deciding which accessory to wear today. Picking some silk ribbon you saw laying about, you braided it into your hair, sealing it with a rubber band and tying an extra ribbon into a bow to conceal it. And finally, you had your bag. Well, more like bear. The teddy bear backpack you had on matched well with the neutral color scheme. So, you went for it. Honestly, you reminded yourself of a doll. A doll with a pretty face, and a whole lot of problems.
Taking a deep breath, you puffed out your chest. Your confident expression stared back at you, but on the other side of that mirror you felt nothing but anxiety simmering the longer you stood there in silence.
"I might as well wait for Toji outside then." It was no use standing around in your room. The bed looked way too inviting as it only made you think of excuses not to go. You wouldn't let your bed get the best of you this time.
Walking down the stairs, you headed towards the entrance, petting your cat's furry head along the way. Upon opening the door, you were met with the sight of freshly layered snow. It was thin, barely half an inch thick, but it already had you feeling a little better with the anticipation of making a snowman with it once the days got colder. You remember there was a time when you used to do that with Toji.
God, you can't even reminisce about the past without Toji having some part in it.
You desperately needed to figure out how you were going to do this.
Last night was a bust. Not much progress was made besides the fact that Toji actually spoke to you for the first time in years. Not that he had much chance to do so sooner even if he wanted to, with you a couple hours away from home and all. But it was the bare minimum. Right now you needed a plan, and you needed to think of one fast.
Standing against the railing of your porch, you sorted through your thoughts. You're going to get picked up by Toji in less than 10 minutes. You'll ride in his car, pretend that everything's okay because it is, you'll buy whatever this party needs, and if it goes well you'll confront him on the ride back home. And that'll be the end of that.
Easy.
But when is anything ever easy when it comes to that man. Nothing. The answer has always been nothing.
This line of thought has you so deep into your own frustration that you don't even realize you've been ranting to your teddy bear backpack. Murmuring to it harshly, and rolling your eyes like you're gossiping with a friend about the latest dumb thing that happened on Twitter today.
And it's only when you see a black pickup truck from your peripheral vision pulling up, that you stare back at the bear in horror. Mind being snapped back to the present, and feeling embarrassed that you were seen like this. A man was causing you this much turmoil, that you've been complaining to a damn backpack about it.
Quickly putting your bag back on, you smoothed out your sweater dress. You really fucking hope he didn't see that.
Facing towards the driveway you paused. Your eyes widened, already in awe at the vehicle as you saw it more clearly up close.
The last car you saw Toji with was an old, red Toyota truck. It did itâs job, but definitely not without a couple repairs here and there every so often (that you may or may not have checked him out while he was doing so.) So seeing this new, shiny, black Chevy parked right outside the driveway was definitely an exciting upgrade. The wheels were lifted, making the body higher than its original design, and the windows were tinted midnight black, making it nearly impossible to see who was inside unless you stuck a cheek to the glass.
Overall it was big, and intimidating.
Just like him.
'Guess those freelancing jobs paid off then.â
*BEEP BEEP*
Jesus. You didn't even notice Toji had already parked. How long were you just staring at it for? If he started to honk at you, it mustâve been more than what society deemed normal.
Running up to the passenger side of the truck, albeit meekly, you stopped right in front of the door just as the tinted windows were being pulled down giving you a better view of the inside. There sat Toji on the other side, upper body turned and facing towards you with one hand still on the wheel.
Tojiâs eyes almost popped out of his sockets at your appearance but it was quickly masked by a look of amusement.
"You busy daydreaming or what?"
Ignoring his remark, you placed your hands on the edge of the cold glass, peering up at him and around the interior.
âSo, new truck huh?â
"Oh this? Yeah, got it not too long ago after receiving my payment forâŠ.from work."
You squinted your eyes in suspicion, noticing that he caught his words, but you weren't going to question it. No, you were going to let it go. You knew he wouldnât tell you anything anyway, most likely just brushing it off as suddenly being hit with a stutter. He never spoke about his âoverseasâ jobs that he apparently racked up stacks of cash from, and despite him saying it was only freelancing work, you had a hunch it was something a lot shadier than that. You werenât that dumb. Which is exactly why you werenât going to ask.
Choosing to stay oblivious, you gave a compliment instead. "It's nice, Toji. Really."
You were about to open the door to get in and cut the small talk short (and because youâd rather bask in the in-system heating than out in the cold) but it wouldnât budge. It was still locked. Why isnât he unlocking the door?
Instead of unlocking the door for you like normal people do when picking up a person with their car, Toji isn't exactly someone you'd consider normal. Instead, Toji looked you up and down slowly as an awkward silence took over. You stood there rigid, allowing him to unashamedly undress you with his eyes. At least you think that's what he was doing. Heâs being really bold todayâŠdoes he seriously not plan to open this door?!
Your mind was running a mile per minute. You felt exposed, vulnerable, but you kind of liked the attention he was giving you right now. Especially since he hadnât bothered to give you any last night. Not that you blame him. Looks like the effort you had put in, despite being rushed, was working, leaving him dumbstruck. You felt proud that you managed to have him speechless.
Unfortunately, your sudden boost in ego was quickly shut down.
"What the hell are you wearing?" Oh. Talk about anticlimactic.
"Huh? W-what do you mean?"
"I mean," He stood there, a single eyebrow raised, and vaguely gesturing to your form with his hand, "This."
Looking around to see if anyone else was witnessing this, you quirked your head in question. "What about it?"
"I know ya didn't just decide to go out looking like that when it's freezing out here. Go back upstairs and put some real clothes on." He looked at you sternly with a scowl etching onto the scarred side of his lip, arms crossing in front of his chest.
Was Toji actually scolding you right now? The nerve of this guy!
You hadnât seen it right away, but after staring back at him in disbelief at what you were hearing, you noticed his own personal ensemble.
Thereâs no damn wayâŠ
Looking up and down at him as he had done to you just moments prior, you saw that he was wearing an unzipped puffer jacket with a hoodie underneath which was fine, you had no issues regarding that. The problem was what he was wearing below.
This man, who was condemning you on your sweater dress because it was apparently unfit for âfreezingâ temperatures, was wearing shorts and slides. At least he wore socks with it, if he hadnât you think you may have actually gone back home and let him do the shopping himself.
You couldnât help but let out a short laugh, but quickly shut up after seeing Toji wasnât finding this as amusing as you were.
This was crazy.
Tilting your head to the side, you scrunch your nose in disbelief. âYouâre telling me to put warmer clothes on, when youâve got shorts and slides on?â
Toji was quick to counter. âItâs not the same, donât compare it.â
âYeah it is!â
âLook kid, Iâm not gonna argue with ya. Either change your clothes, or stay home.â
Thatâs exactly what you want to do. But you know deep down you canât, you already told yourself you had to sort things out with him. And the first step to that, is sorting this out.
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ - - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
After a couple pleading looks and adamant convincing of, 'I'm not cold!' 'I swear I'm fine. It doesn't even feel like winter out here!'
Toji relented. Letting out a sigh, shaking his head as he told you, 'Fine, whatever. But donât come cryinâ at my feet when your stubborn ass gets sick and your mom gets mad at you.'
Now here you were, seated on the heated, brand new black leather seats of his Chevy after he finally gave in and unlocked the door, letting you in. You spent the trip with your head resting against the palm of your hand somberly, as you watched the scenery of snowy trees and other cars pass by.
The awkwardness throughout the entire car ride was at an all-time high. Higher than what it'd started out with earlier. You were both quiet; your brain a little less. Toji's disappointment regarding your attire was a total blow to your ego. You were just trying to look cute.
Not like it was meant for him anyway.
Is what you wanted to try convincing yourself in order to feel better, but really, you knew it was a lie.
As for Toji, that thought you had earlier about him ogling you? It was right on the money.
But he had to quickly save face by instead acting like a concerned adult worrying about the wellbeing of his innocent, young neighbor. If he was being honest, he didnât give two shits about what you chose to wear. As long as it was for his eyes only.
Yes, he knew heâd hurt your feelings for telling you to go change. He understood that he was being overbearing and unreasonable especially after you brought up his own attire, but you had to understand. He physically couldnât accept seeing you wearing an outfit that barely covered your ass like that in public when he should be the only one to see you looking like that. Yes, he was sick for looking at you that way and he knew that which is exactly why he needed you to cover up. Both so that no other creepy assholes (except himself) could see you that way, and because he doesnât think he could control his thoughts about you for the next couple hours you have alone together. Itâs why he had to shift in his seat a couple times. Though, you didnât notice that.
This game you were playing with him? This seducing thing? With little skirts and shit, yeah it was doing something to him.
Maybe you havenât changed as much as he thought. As they say, old habits die hard.
After about 15 more minutes of unspoken thoughts, you finally arrived at the store.
Why did you agree to do this again? Oh yeah, you didn't.
Unbuckling your seatbelt, you took a deep breath to try and regain your composure. Just focus on the task. Opening the door, you hopped down and out onto the recently snow-shoveled pavement with Toji following suit as he turned off the truck, taking the keys from the ignition and shutting the door behind him.
You could feel Tojiâs burning gaze boring into your back as he walked behind you, keeping a slight distance between you and him but still enough that people could tell that you two came together. Entering into the store, you whipped out your phone, unlocking it and clicking on the notes app filled with a list of things you needed to get that your mom instructed you two to buy. You crossed your fingers hoping you could get all this done quickly and smoothly.
Obviously, life loves to humor you because things did not go smoothly.
Everything was going well at first, you scoured the aisles looking for streamers, fairy lights, pretty napkins, silver and white balloons, and whatever else was needed; putting it all into the basket that Toji was holding, still following you like a sort of puppyâor more like a guard dog with the menacing aura he carried around himself with every step he took.
Walking around youâd occasionally find something that caught your eye, tinkering around with the item for a couple seconds before putting it back down and walking over to the next intriguing thingâlike a snow globe you found of a character you recognized filled with pink and white sparkly snow. You bet your ass you added that one to the basket. That hello kitty snow globe was a need, not a want. How something like that even found its way to a store like this was beyond you, but hey, you werenât complaining.
You even found cute little hats while looking around and managed to get Toji to wear a pair of elf ears while you wore a Santa hat, telling him a silly joke about how he was Santaâs jolliest helper. That only earned you a huff, and roll of his eyes as he took off the ears and pulled the hat you wore down over your face, chuckling as he watched you make dramatics about how you were being suffocated despite being able to breathe perfectly fine.
Interacting like this with him gave you butterflies. Youâd let him ruin your perfectly styled hair if it meant things were going back to the way they used to be between you both.
Everything was going fine.
You were actually havingâŠfun. Which you hadnât anticipated. You were so caught up about feeling like you were on thin ice with Toji, and though you still sort of felt that way, you felt ecstatic that things were beginning to feel normal. Like nothing even happened.
âHmm, looks like the last thing on this list are more scented candles. Thought we already had some? Oh well.â You shrugged your shoulders. You think your own obsession with candles might have stemmed from your mom now that you think about it.
Toji leaned his body over your shoulder, looking down over your list himself at the check marked boxes except for one. You immediately stiffened up, not expecting him to get so close to you, and especially not for him to make body contact with you. You wish you didnât have all these layers in the way. You internally shook the thought off before it could escalate. Now was not the time to be having these touched starved thoughts!
Pulling away from you, but still keeping close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating from his body, he put the basket down next to your feet. âYeah, I saw a couple of those on the other aisle we passed by.â
âOh good! One of us can get it. Stay here and Iâll quickly-â Your suggestion didnât even have a chance to reach the other end of Tojis ears before it got shut down.
âNah, you stay here, and stay put while I grab it. And donât go straying off you understand, kid?â Toji looked down at you, waiting for your answer. Heâd rather not leave your side, especially since he didnât trust that you wouldnât get distracted by something and walk off like a lost mouse-but he tried to reason out in his head that it was only one item. Heâd quickly get it and come back, and youâd still be there.
You werenât going anywhere.
So why did he find it so hard to walk away from you? Must be some type of trauma he thinks.
Nodding your head, with a âMhm! Promise. Not going anywhere. Nope, staying put.â Toji searched your face to see if you were lying but decided you werenât, and began jogging off towards another aisle in a different section of the store.
He couldnât help but have a bad feeling about this as he looked over at all the scented candles, picking up the most expensive looking ones.
âSânot my money anyway..â
Maybe he shouldâve just taken you along with him. Itâs not like it wouldâve caused the both of you any more hassle than going alone would. Shit. Something was gnawing at Toji to hurry the hell up and get back to you. As he briskly walked to the aisle where he had left you, he was met with something far worse than overpriced dĂ©cor, and it had him seething.
There you were, face scrunched up, and looking highly uncomfortable as some random guy, around your age it seemed, was trying to flirt with you.
Keyword: Trying.
Toji didnât know who this guy was but he knew damn well what was happening, and he wasn't going to let it slide. Not on his watch. That he wasn't even wearing.Â
You hadn't noticed Toji's arrival yet. Still preoccupied with keeping calm and trying to ignore this random man that thought it would be chivalrous of himself to make comments about your body. Saying things about how he doesn't know why your man let you out like that, and if you were his bitch he wouldn't let you out his sight.
It's a good thing Toji wasn't there to hear any of that.
What Toji did hear as he was silently coming up behind the both of you, that almost made him run up and deck the guy in the nuts was when he leaned his body down exaggeratedly to look at your ass and said, "DAMN. That's more ass thanâŠ. I've seenâŠ.in a while!"
This prick didn't even know where the hell he was going with that line, but Toji sure knew where that guy was gonna end up if he tried it again.
At this point, you were more than ready to kick this guy in the balls, but you didn't want to anger him. Who knows what this guy has got going on in his head? He's harassing you at a decor store for fucks sake!
Before you were thinking about making a run for it to the direction of where Toji had gone, deeming your situation helpless without him; it seemed like someone finally answered your prayers because the moment you looked back, there he was standing right behind the both of you.
'How did I not notice him?? He's wearing slides for god sake! I should've heard the 'plip' 'plaps'!'
"The fuck are you doing?"
The guy was still leaning down when Toji spoke up. He was about to cuss out whoever this other guy was for interrupting his daily "I objectify women for fun" hobby, until he looked up. There Toji stood, 6'2, built like he was made for war, in his shorts and slides, holding candles, and a look so threatening etched onto his face, you think this guy may have almost shit his pants. If the audible gulp meant anything.
"O-oh fuck. Look sir, I was just admiring your hard work, very beautiful daughter you have here. Didn't realizeâŠSorry." The way he ran away was almost pitiful. Almost. But none of you had any pity for trash.
'Well that was quick', Toji thought. He assumed he might've had to light up this candle he was holding and choke him with it but it seems that wouldn't be happening today.
That's one less crime the authorities could pinpoint on him.
Turning his attention towards you, he asked if you were alright.
"Sort ofâŠnot really. Being objectified isn't exactly the greatest feelingâŠ" Toji noticed the way you hugged your hands around yourself, most likely trying to cover up. Suddenly feeling too exposed for comfort despite attempting to brush the interaction off.
Maybe you should've listened to Toji earlier and changed your clothes to something more fitting for winter weather. Screw looking cute.
Though, the regret didn't have a chance to get very far because suddenly you were being brought back to the present.
"Lift your arms up."
Huh? "Wh- why?" The next thing he did nearly had your heart leaping out of your chest. Taking off his puffer jacket, he nudged your arms to lift up so he could help put it through the holes of the sleeves. After checking to make sure it was on properly, he zipped it up a bit more than halfway and patted you down in an effort to make you look a little bit less like the emo version of the Michelin Man.
"You gonna be okay?" You were still a little surprised at the gesture, especially since it was coming from him of all people, but you answered, "..Yeah. Yeah, I'll be okay."
"Good. Lemme finish paying for all this crap and I'll drop you off at your place."
Leading the way towards the cashier, he placed his large palm over your lower back and kept it there until your goods were paid for, and you were out the door.
Situating yourself on the seats of Toji's car, you couldn't help but feel a smile creep up on you, desperately trying to bite it back. You're wearing his coat.
He put his coat on you.
You think you could die of happiness right now. But, you'll save that for later. That whole fiasco that happened at the store still had your mood all sour. You really didn't want to go home yet. And as Toji began to pull out of the parking lot, you spoke up.
"Toji? I don't really feel like going home yet.."
"Yeah? Aight. We'll stop somewhere, I know a place."
Nodding your head, you mumbled a 'thanks', grateful that he took the hint and didn't try to argue with you or ask any questions. Toji can be empathetic when he wants to be sometimes.
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â - - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
Apparently, when Toji said he 'knew a place', you didn't expect it to beâŠthis.
"Cinnabon? Really?"
"What? You don't like their cinnamon buns? We can go someplace else if you don't want em.âÂ
You paused. Well, now that you were thinking about itâŠ"Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I do like those."
âBesides,â Walking over to the counter to order, Toji got into line, âI remember ya telling me one time that you liked this place."Â
He still remembers something like that?Â
You didnât answer. Instead you followed the nod of Tojiâs head telling you to leave the ordering to him and to go find a table to sit at. Looking around, you saw that all the tables were already preoccupied. Damn. Walking back to Toji, you suggested ordering it to go and just finding some place else to sit at like that wooden bench you saw just outside the establishment, which he seemed to favor far more.
Leaving him to his vices, you exited the shop and went to sit outside on the storefront bench, patiently waiting for Toji to get back with your food. Looking around there was still a thin sheet of snow covering some areas of the pavement, most having melted throughout the day or driven over by now. Yet it seemed as though the temperature had no plans of rising as you breathed out a puff of steam, remaining at its crisp, nearly frosty condition. It felt peaceful.
The few minutes of alone time you had to yourself was the most silence your brain has allowed itself to be in within the 24 hours of Tojis reintroduction into your life.Â
The oversized puffer jacket you still had on made those hours feel shorter by reminding you of just how much "excitement" had managed to happenâyou bet you looked silly as hell with it engulfing your frame, but you couldn't find it in you to care about that at this moment. Especially since it was serving its purpose of protecting you against the cold that you found yourself surrounded by as you sat there waiting.
Leaning back against the wood, you felt something hindering you from going all the way. Your teddy bear backpack. You forgot you even had it on as it was hidden underneath the coat Toji had quickly put on you. Yeah, you must've looked really stupid. Fighting back a grimace and ignoring the fact for your own peace of mind, you went to remove the coat. Leaving it piled behind you on the bench as you took off your bag, placing it onto your lap.Â
Reaching into your bag, you took out your trusty emergency makeup kit. Wouldn't hurt to do a quick touch up⊠Looking over in the direction of the sudden sound of a bell being rung, you peered over to your left to see that it was just someone stepping foot out the shop with a cup of what looked to be hot chocolate.Â
'Hopefully Toji get's back soon.'
Focusing back on the task at hand, you clicked open a compact inspecting the state of the way you looked with the mirror. The sight that greeted you brought out a breath of relief. Not a single thing out of place. But just in case, you patted on a little bit of powder for good measure, and reapplied your clear lipgloss so the cold air could struggle to nip at your lips.Â
After assessing what needed to be assessed, you put your pouch back into your bag and immediately piped up at the sound of the door chiming again. You couldn't help but do a small cheer as you saw that it was finally Toji approaching you, carrying a bag containing your icing drenched cinnamon bun, a hot drink of some sort, and a bottle of water.Â
Handing you your food and drink, you thanked him and immediately dug in once it was within your grasp. Taking a bite, a bit of steam emitted from the warm and gooey bun melting on your tongue, flooding your taste buds with a mix of sweet and nutty spice. Damn, you were a lot hungrier than you thought. But you suppose that's due to having skipped breakfast in the morning. Stuffing more into your mouth, your eyes met Toji's to see him already sitting beside you and looking down at you, snickering.
"Hwat?" The question came out muffled from your cheeks being stuffed like a squirrel.
He looked off to the side for a second, still snickering before he answered, "Nothin."Â
Swallowing your food down harshly, you pouted with your brows scrunched together and took notice that you were the only one eating.Â
"How come you didn't get yourself one?"
He deadpanned. "I don't want diabetes."Â
"RightâŠof course notâŠ" Such a Toji answer, you thought.
It felt a little weird to be the only one eating, but he kept refusing everytime you asked if he was absolutely sure he didnât at least want a bite. It was silent between you two except for the occasional slurp of your drink, and you think Toji noticed it too because suddenly he started conversing with you, catching up a little bit on how the both of you have been.
"So kid, how's the university life been treatin' ya?"
"Hm? Oh uhm, it's been alright I guess." You shrugged, fork still in hand.
"Just alright? Sounds pretty lackluster to me."
"It is." You sighed.Â
"You tellin' me you don't, what- party? Or done those weird cultist initiations you kids do at sororities."Â
"YeahâŠno. I'm too busy actually studying most of the time. I've been to like 2-ish? parties, but that's about it. And sororities? You couldn't possibly pay me to join one of those.â Youâve heard one too many stories of premature deaths being caused by sororities. You didnât particularly feel like gambling your chances. Plus, you werenât really into the whole sisterhood-brotherhood thing, too weird.
As the conversation progressed between your frankly unexciting school life, Toji recalled some neighborhood fiasco that happened while you were away.Â
"...Then this kid's boyfriend starts beating up the guy that tried to take her purse."
"No way! This really happened in our neighborhood? Where like.. nothing ever happens?" To think that a crime had actually happened in the most safest, suburban of neighborhoods that you lived in for your whole life and you weren't there to witness it.
"I'm tellin' ya it was set up to make himself look good. A robbery in broad daylight? In this neighborhood? Bullshit."
"Why does all the exciting shit always happen when I'm not around?" You whined, sighing out your disappointment.
Closing the box to your nearly finished cinnamon bun and placing it beside you on the bench, you suddenly remembered something.Â
"By the way! My mom told me you have a son? How come you never mentioned him to me before?"
And just like that, Tojis brows immediately furrowed as if the question was one he hadn't expected to be asked, especially not coming from you. Leaning forward with a grunt, he rested an elbow on his knee, propping a palm under his chin as he proceeded to look at you with the most dramatically bored expression youâve ever seen on someone's face- one that rivaled even yours.
It screamed, âlet's get this shit over with.â
"You never asked. Besides, why you askin' about him now?"Â
You noticed the way his mood instantly changed after mentioning him but...it was probably nothing right?
Regardless, he didn't seem to be exactly⊠excited at the mention of his son, so you treated lightly with your next words. âWell, my mom is telling me that I should start looking for a good boy to date and she mentioned your son.âÂ
He laughed out in disbelief. âGumi? That boy? Ha, good luck with that. He wouldnât know the first thing on how to treat a girl.âÂ
He couldnât treat you the way I could. Is what he wanted to say.Â
Awkwardly you answered, âWell⊠anyway, I don't think he even goes to my UniâŠI think. So it wouldn't really be an option.âÂ
Toji stayed silent.Â
The sudden uncomfortable silence that took over had you overthinking all over again.Â
What's wrong? Does he have a bad relationship with his son? Is that why he looks irritated? Should I ask? No. He might get more irritated. Shit. Okay, subject change.
Slamming your hands onto your thighs a little too hard in an attempt to calm your nerves, the sound seemed to catch Tojis attention. Snapping him out of whatever trance he was in, and back to his usual demeanor.
You rubbed your arms out of awkwardness. âSooo, yeah. Sucks, I wasn't there to witness a fraudulent act of chivalry right in my own neighborhood."
Toji was thankful you moved on from the topic of his son, he didnât want to think of that little squirt right now.Â
But then it got him wonderingâŠ
"You ever had a boyfriend before?"Â
The question surprised you a little. Okay maybe a lot. You didn't think he'd be even remotely interested in your love life.Â
"No⊠I've never had one." While there was no shame in not having had a significant other at your age, still you couldn't help but feel embarrassed admitting it to Toji.
Toji raised a brow in suspicion. "You sure you're staying clear of boys?"Â
This behavior he was exhibiting was starting to confuse the hell out of you. First he scolds you on your attire this morning, and now he's interrogating you on your love life? He was being way overprotective, almost acting as a parent, and it was seriously beginning to make you feel hopeless.Â
You nodded. "Yes, Toji. I'm not interested in college guys. They don't know what they're doing,"
That answer seemed to be good enough for Toji, but to both his and your utter surprise you continued, "But I've done other things."
Straightening his back up against the wooden bench in interest, Toji beckoned you to continue on. Truth be told, he didn't want to hear you talking about boys. Just the thought of you with some dumbass little boy made him irrationally bothered. But there was one thing itching at him to ask.Â
One thing he simply had to know.
"Oh yeah?"
"Just casual stuff. Nothing serious.."
Toji hummed. It was cute how you were beating around the bush about whatever 'things' you've done. He'll humor you this time around.
"We talkin' the 'clothes on' type of stuff?"
"WellâŠnot exactly.."Â
Your lack of elaboration following your answer made Toji egg you on further.
"Don't start gettin' all shy on me now. Let me take a guess, this has somethin' to do with how you mentioned that college boy's don't know what they're doing, yeah?
And like clockwork, the words proceeded to flow past the tip of your tongue without a second thought.
"Remember how I also mentioned earlier that I've gone to only a few parties? Well at one of those parties, I got left alone by my friends in favor of hooking up with some guys they thought were hot."Â
"Sounds like some shitty friends."Â
You grunted. "Tell me about it. Anyways, here I am, sitting alone on this couch that's thankfully only mildly sticky from whatever wasted student had spilled their drink on top of it, and this guy sits right next to me. We talk, things happen, and we find an empty room."
Toji hums, signaling to you that he's still listening.
Immediately, irritation is apparent on your face by the way your eyes narrow as you recall the memory. "He puts his hands in my pants and this dumbass can't for the life of him find where my clit is and is just rubbing around. Then he has the nerve to ask if I came yet!? Bitch I'm not even moaning!"
Toji nods, intently listening to your rant. Biting back his amusement at your outburst.
"And the same fuckin thing happens again except with a different guy I had been seeing for less than a week. Exceptâget this, he asks me what a clit is. Like are you for real!?"
Taking a deep breath, you tried channeling your nerves. "So that's that. College boy's don't know where the clit isâhell, they don't even know of its existence."Â
Slumping your shoulders, you kicked at the tiny stones on the cement with your shoe.Â
"It's why I've never gone further than that."Â
If you were being honest, even if those guys did know their way around a woman's body, you don't think you could find it within yourself to stick around for it. You already knew what your mind was banging against your skull to say. Deep down, somewhere in the backrooms of your brain, you know it's because of Toji. It's always been him; the man you're still holding out for. Hoping he'd be the one to take your virginity.Â
Whatever. It was a pipe dream anyway. And you definitely weren't going to tell him that.
Speaking of telling himâŠ
âWhy did you tell him all that!? Why did you have to run your mouth!!â
You stammered out an apology. The gravity of what you just up and confessed dawned on you, leaving you a cringing mess from within.
"I-I'm sorryâŠI don't even know why im telling you all this-"
Toji is quick to dismiss the apology. Truth be told, he was delighted to hear that you were still a virgin.
âDon't worry bout itâ. It's nothing to be embarrassed of.
âI mean yeahâŠbut stillâŠâ
Turning to face you, Toji placed his hand gingerly upon your thigh, giving it a light squeeze in what you assumed to be an attempt at reassurance or maybe it was comfort? You couldn't really tell, you just knew that the warmth of it felt nice.
âListen, if Iâm tellinâ you that being a virgin is nothinâ to be ashamed of, then its not. Look at it this way, you ainât a teen mom, something not many can say nowadays.â He shrugged.
He kind of had a point. Though his comforting skills were kind of ass.
âYeah..okay. Thanks for listening then.â
âNo problem.âÂ
You thought after your little rant the atmosphere would return to its awkward state as it seems that's how it had been every time you spoke with Tojiâyet oddly enough, it felt like you had somehow managed to get closer to him by opening up about your struggles.Â
Suddenly feeling a spout of hunger befall you once more, you took the last remaining bite of your cinnamon bun, slowly licking off the icing that had gotten smeared onto your lips.Â
Toji eyed the action intently, internally shaking a head at himself.Â
âThis little minx..â Â but before you could make eye contact he abruptly withdrew his hand, fishing a phone out his pocket and checking the time. Huh, you hadn't even noticed his hand had still been on you.
âIt's already almost 4, think it's time to call it a day.â
With a sound of surprise, you rose up from your seat, closing the box once more as you watched Toji stand up from his own spot, already patting on his pockets for the car keys.Â
You hadn't even noticed that much time had gone by.
âThanks again for the cinnamon buns and of course, for listening.âÂ
Toji only hummed in acknowledgement.
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â- - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
The ride home was spent surrounded by the sounds of muffled radio chatter, ever so slightly noticeable with the engine of the truck at a constant thrum. The sun surprisingly hadn't gone down yet as it typically would have on any other winter day and you made sure to thank your lucky stars for those few more minutes of sunlight.
On the other hand, you couldn't help but feel sad. You didn't want the day to end yet, especially not when progress had been made between the two of you. Then it hit you, progress had been made. While you didn't actually confront him about what had transpired on that faithless day, it was still worth celebrating.Â
Baby steps are still steps after all.Â
And the more you thought about it, it began to occur to you that todayâŠtoday kinda felt like a date. In a messed up sense. To others this would've been a failure of a day, but to you? You were elated.
âMaybe now's my chance to talk to him about what happened back then.â
Sitting up just a little bit straighter in your seat, you turned your head to face Toji, contemplating on the right words to say to him. Just when you were on the verge of starting your sentence, Tojiâs phone suddenly began to ring, vibrating atop the center console.Â
Without bothering to check who was calling him, Toji answered the phone, putting it on speaker. Nothing to be worried about anyway, probably some scammer giving Toji his routine call.
âYo, whatâs up?â
Without a second to waste, a feminine voice practically cried from the other end.
âTojiiii, baby itâs been so long, when are you coming over?? You know I miss you-âÂ
Before this unknown lady could hope to finish her sentence, she was abruptly hung up onâcourtesy of Tojis hand flying to take the call off speaker, fumbling for a good second only to ultimately end the call for good measure.
Clearing his throat, Toji continued to keep his eyes focused on the road ahead. Can't be having you both end up in a car crash right?Â
âSorry about that, that was⊠just one of my old close friends.â
âUh huh. Yaâll must've been real close.â
Toji ignored the snark.
âAnyways, go ahead, what were you saying?âÂ
âIâŠwasnât saying anything.â
Thankfully the call was received just minutes short of arriving at your home. Pulling into the driveway, the truck on neutral, you waited a few seconds to see if Toji would say anything more. He didnât.
Holding back a shaky sigh, you unbuckle your seatbelt and exited the vehicle, opening the passenger side to pick up the bags of decor that you went to buy in the first place.
âWait, let me help ya out-â Toji last minutely interjected as he turned his body over in his seat to face you.
âNo need. I already got it.â Picking up the last bag (thankfully they werenât very heavy), you slammed the passenger door shut. You contemplated giving Toji a proper farewell bidding but with the way you were feeling right now? You didnât want him to see the ache painted in your eyes. Instead, you continued walking down the shoveled path and up the steps to your house, fishing the keys out from your keychain and unlocking the door, closing it behind you.
Kicking your shoes off and slipping some slippers onto your feet, you laid the bags over the kitchen counter letting whoever discovered them first deal with the contents inside as you made your way up the stairs to your room, plopping onto your bed face first.
You nearly teared up at your own naivety.
Holy shit. âIâm so stupid.â Was all you could think of as the booty call Toji had received replayed in your mind. This wasnât any new information on Toji that you hadnât already known about yet it hurt so bad.Â
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â- - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
On the other hand, Toji couldnât help but feel the same way. When he saw you safely get back into your home, he shifted gears to reverse, pulling out the driveway and driving back to his own place.Â
Closing his eyes for a moment, he pulled out his phone from the cup holder it fell into amidst his struggle to end the call earlier and proceeded to call them back.
One ring was all it took for them to answer, and one second was all it took for Toji to cut them off before they could say anything more.
âDonât fuckinâ call me again, understand? Good. Now, fuck off.â Hanging up before she could respond or attempt to call back like an idiot, he blocked her.
Letting out a rather loud groan of irritation, he gripped the steering wheel with both hands in indignation, letting his head fall as he could feel a headache coming on.
âFuck.â
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â- - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
Laying on your bed disappointed, you curled up thinking about the events that transpired earlier. The whole trip felt like an actual dateâup until that call anyway. It was probably the worst way the day could have ended. Your bad luck was unimaginable.
âI need to find myself a four leaf clover or something at this pointâŠâ
Honestly, you didn't want to get out of bed. You wanted to lay down and wilt like a flower that never gets any sunlight. Stuffing your face into your arm, it occured to you that you were still wearing Tojiâs jacket.Â
âMaybe I should stop trying to go after someone whoâll never like me backâŠâ You mumbled to yourself, sitting up and throwing the coat towards the nearest chair it could land on.
Were you really this delusional? You saw the way he was looking at youâyou shook your head, trying not to overthink it.Â
âI guess I had the wrong idea.â
Feeling defeated, you knew if you wanted to continue moping about this, youâd have to do it after a shower; lest you end up skipping your skincare routine leaving you with another thing to sulk about.
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â- - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
You couldnât sleep.
Restless, you tossed and turned trying to find that sweet spot that would have you suddenly waking up to the birds singing. Come the fuck on..! I just want to sleep, dammit!
Grunting, it seemed no matter where you tried to place yourself within the comfort of your sheets and plethora of pillows engulfing you, you just couldnât seem to knock yourself out.
Only one option left.
Slipping a hand underneath the blanket, you let your fingers wander across your skin. Giving each of your tits a soft squeeze under your shirt as you slowly began to relax, sighing in content at a teasing roll of your bud, slowly hardening at your touch.Â
Growing tired of the teasing and beginning to feel heavy with need, you ran a finger down your panties, keeping it firmly pressed against your slit as you slowly raised your hips up and down in tandem with your middle finger, rubbing yourself over the cotton material. You could feel yourself getting hotter, wetter. A small, sticky patch of your own arousal seeping through the garment as you finally had enough, moving your panties to the side and making contact with your sickened clit. You wasted no time in parting your lips with your pinky and index, and letting both your middle and ring finger draw tight circles over your bundle of nerves. Immediately settling into a steady rhythm that was sure to have you quickly coming undone.Â
As your breathing picked up, so did the small whimpers escaping through your lips. You tried your best to stay as quiet as possible, but fuck was it hard when all you wanted to do was mewl out a certain someones name, imagining it was him playing with your pussy like this.Â
Toji.Â
Even just sounding his name out in your head had you bucking your hips against the friction you were creating. His large, warm hand stuffed down your panties, and cupping your pussy from behind while rubbing at the entire expanse of your puffy cunt messily. Fast. Drenching his palm in your juices. Wondering what it'd feel like to have his long, fat fingers plunge into you as your own currently probes at your clenching hole, dipping in slightly only to take it back out. It didn't feelâwouldn't feel nearly as good unless it were his.Â
You felt so close. Your fingers were starting to ache as you exerted them, moving it against your swollen clit quicker than before. It started to hurt, but the feeling of adrenaline rushing through you to finish made your brain block it out, replacing it with the endorphins of white hot pleasure that you anticipated to burst at any minute now.Â
You clamped your legs around your hand, curling into your side like a ball. You wanted to stop, it was too much. But you were so fucking close. Your shaky whines were no longer being held back, eyes squeezed shut and the side of your face pressed against your pillow muffling it as best you could to prevent it from being heard outside.Â
Just a little moreâŠ
Come on come on come on..! Your hand wouldn't stop unless your body reached its peak, only increasing in its pace. Holding your breath, the sound of your palpating heart was deafening as you continued letting out harsh pants.
You felt the familiar feeling of your lower abdomen tightening, coiling up and finally bursting like a dam. Your toes curled up as you threw your head back further into the pillow, unable to stop the sudden cry of Tojiâs name that accidentally slipped out from your parched mouth at the pressure of your orgasm rushing over you like a tidal wave.
Before you could bask in your post orgasmic bliss, Toji bursts through your door. The fucking man himself. In the flesh..?
In a panic, you pull your stiff hand away from between your legs as if it were scalding hot oil, grasping the blanket up towards your chin to cover what youâd just been essentially caught doing.
âHeard you screaminâ my name out, sweetheart.âÂ
Youâd think any normal reaction to being intruded on by the person you were just fantasizing about would be to first ask some questionsâyet there you laid calm as a cucumber, watching as he inched closer to you.
Toji smirked. âDonât start gettinâ all shy on me now. Let me hear you scream my name again for me.â Â
You donât know how he got to you so quickly but Toji was already slipping his hand under the covers towards your pussy, finding it slick and sticky from your high, smearing it all over as he ran his fingers up and down your sensitive slit.Â
Retracting his hand back from underneath, he relished in the way your arousal stuck to his fingers like a spider's web as he spread them out, glistening against the soft lighting of your suddenly oddly hazy looking room.
Fueled with newfound urgency, Toji threw the covers off of you, yanking your body up to stand on the floor as you both made your way towards your vanity, back hitting the edge of it as you steadied yourself against Toji's chest. It was all moving too quickly. Too fast. Before you could stop to process your surroundings properly, Tojiâs large hand hastily groped your tits as his other fingers that were touching on your pussy earlier prodded at your mouth to open. Without a word, you wrapped your lips around them like a good girl, suckingâtasting yourself before he removed them in order to turn you around.Â
Just then, you realized you both were naked as Toji lifted one of your legs up onto the vanity, dragging his wet fingers over his cock as he moved to align it with your dripping hole. You couldn't form a thought. As if on autopilot. Only the unbridled, desperate need to have Toji in you remained. Â
No. Scratch that. You felt your own thoughts before you could form them, as if it werenât your own. It definitely was though. You donât think anyone could too how fucking badly you wanted this man. Now he was finally about to fuck you? You may as well have been the luckiest woman on planet earth.
And as you begin to feel the sensation of Toji's cock about to enter youâconfirming that notion, the door to your room bursts open again.
Wait.
âWake up.â
What? Â
âWake up!â
Is that my fucking cat talking!?
âWAKE UP!â
Groggily opening your eyes, you're met with early winter sun seeping through your thin curtains, casting a hazy glow into your room. You hear birds singing.
âWhat the hell was thatâŠâ Stretching the sleep out of your limbs, you noticed your hand was still situated inside your panties.Â
You closed your eyes, trying to recall your dream. âSo half of that was real?â Well, up until Toji bursted into your room, you suppose. And when your cat spoke up telling you to wake the fuck up.Â
Ugh.
Sitting up, you rubbed your eyes, leaning over the bedside to pull your diary sitting on your nightstand towards your lap. You had to write this shit down.Â
â â ââ â â â ââ â â ââ â- - - - - - - - - - àšâĄà§ - - - - - - - - - -
After jotting down as much as you could recall from the dream without mixing it up with what you were actually getting up to in real life, you left the diary on the same vanity dream version Toji almost dicked you down on.Â
Throughout the day, you couldnât stop thinking about Toji. Hell, your feelings for him increased tenfold just from that measly dream alone. You don't know if it's solely your dreams doing that made you feel like you suddenly had a genuine chance with him but fuck it.Â
You thought about the events of yesterday and recalled when he grasped your thigh. That couldnât have just been nothing right? The way he eyed your lips too as you licked icing off them. He didn't think you noticed, but you did. Of course you did. It was on purpose after all.Â
And the icing on the cake? When you brought up his son, Megumi. You didn't want to assume anything but you could've sworn you sensed jealousy swimming in those green eyes of his. How ironic.
Shit, maybe you do have a chance with Toji after all. All he needs is a little push.
With all the evidence stacked up in your favor, you knew you had to devise a plan.
A plan on how to seduce your neighbor.
You giggled to yourself.Â
âMama chose a thought daughter.â
