Hi! you may have noticed my asks are off which is odd for an askblog! I have learned that there is possibly a raid on askblogs on the 25th of december sending gore (specifically of children) to askblogs

Yes I do!!! Honestly, I prefer tea over coffee, ironic right?

I guess I recall that ... I really like tea because of someone that... meant a lot to me. They loved tea, and knew a lot about it.

Other than that, I guess I prefer more mellow and sweeter tastes.. Coffees a tad bit too strong. Which isn't to say I don't LIKE coffee, I do of course!

So i finished my college semester so I'm going to give a short post that mainly reflects a certain realization among the survivors about a particular fellow toon

Ever since Rodger was delving more into his research on how to make the process of curing a twsited more effective, via the methodology of finding ways to remove exposure to tainted ichor and return the infected to a familiar environment in order to have their mind be more willing to exit a pure fight or flight instinctual response, Scraps had found her yarn stash being consistently borrowed by the detective for stringing up his corkboard... in fact she's seen hints of what it's like once...not entirely but given the amount of yarn being used the craft could guess it was fairly massive at this point.

At least he bothered to ask her for supplies, Scraps has noted the fact that other toons who shared a living space space her and Goob had to come to her for pencils to borrow because any they owned had strangely vanished...of course it was easy to pinpoint who it was considering a certain somebody who also lived on that floor....Shrimpo... that absolute jerk of a toon. Sure everyone knew he was made to be a bully, that was his very role on the show as the program needed some kind of antagonist within it, but sometimes it seemed go beyond simple bullying to genuine acts of bitter spite against other toons. In fact Scraps could remember the numerous run in with the shellfish before he vanished in the whole ichor chaos things... oh the things he said about her and her little brother have tempted her to want to take a few claws to his face... but at that moment she did wonder why in the world Shrimpo would even be needed pencils... from what literally everytoon knows about him he hates everyone and seeming everything that exists, art included, so that can't be it. It's then Scraps remembered some old conversation another toon who was a particulary good friend to Goob, Poppy , had mentioned.. something about him putting thumbtacks in Looey's room.

While she didn't interact with Looey much Scraps could remember he did always seem a little bit...antsy.... when around her claws or when her brother delivered a particulary tight hug, in fact the balloon toon seemed pretty afraid of sharp objects, makes sense, balloons and sharp things wouldn't exactly mix well.... it's it's Scraps mind started to put a few things together, the thumbtacks , the pencils, Looey.

At that moment she realized something pretty grim about one of the toons that she unfortunately shared a floor with... the one who was normally just a verbal bully...but all the evidence made something abundantly clear to the paper craft... and in that moment her self thoughts could only really think of two fitting words for what the missing pencils were likely being used for

So, funny thing.

It took me literally two years to finally pick up Elden Ring despite the Souls franchise being one two major obsessions in my formative years. Of course I’m crushing it like any Souls veteran would, but I’m reminded of how much I love the series, how much I miss the setting and storytelling, and naturally it takes me back here to this unfinished story I had for Alva…

It’s weird to think this blog is over ten years old, that I’ve grown to be a much different person and become what is hopefully a better writer. But it’s strangely comforting to realize the themes I wanted to pursue with Alva years ago are no less different to what I would want read today. Maybe just a touch more mature and realistic, but no less romantic and full of that desperate light pushing back against a cruel, cruel world.

Lots of old friends are long gone, but I see a few familiar faces are still active. I suspect there might be some resurgence of old and new faces come the upcoming DLC too. But mostly, I’m curious…
