But on a deeper level,

I despise them. I hate them. They are such a burden to me. They take up so much space, make something as simple as putting on a shirt so difficult, everyone stares. Amusement, awe, disgust, they still stare. They all do.

They make me a target. Everyone would want the angel’s wings. They look beautiful, don’t they?

At least the angel doesn’t; imagine what happens then.

They feel more of a burden rather than a gift. I love them, but I also hate them so much.

I would be lying if I said I haven’t tried taking them off myself.
