We all know audrey is not actually going to watch over chloé if it requires any mental effort whatsoever so my current running theory is that she will throw chloé in the Rich Kids Time Out City (London) and chloé will end up at amelie’s house having to be horrible siblings with félix. Except félix isn’t like zoe and she cannot push him around. She’s draped across the couchc like “ew get out of my space and also get me some iced lemonade” and félix just rolls over to be closer to her on purpose to annoy her. And is like “one time my dad tried to kill me . but he died first. so i won.” And chloé’s like “wtf” and félix is like “do you want to be in the shakespeare club” and chloé’s like “no gross” but félix just keeps poking her until she gives up and says yes. This is my Vision

the last episode of miraculous ladybug annoyed me so much I need to make a list. some of these points are about the fifth season as a whole.
what happened to the entire thing about cat noir feeling unnecessary and realizing how important he was. like now bug noir is here and cat noir wasn't even in the last episode tf. the show can redeem itself on this point if in season 6 the final fight ends up being seen as a failure because the wish was made and there's an entire thing about how bug noir is cool but ultimately cat noir and ladybug fighting together is way better
what happened to Alya's investigative journalism. I genuinely believe that she could've figured out the alliance rings were being used in akumatizations then come up with a very good theory about gabriel being hawkmoth. like, she's not spending the time on figuring out who Ladybug is or on being Rena Rouge or Rena Furtive so she absolutely had the time and skills. and I feel like if she was keeping up the ladyblog she would've seen enough videos of akumatized villains that she would've noticed that they were getting miraculous powers and that people with more rings got more powers and could've mentioned this to marinette who might've tried to see what was up with the rings in a fight. It would've been fun to watch too, especially if the resistance got involved and all stopped wearing rings.
which brings me to my next point about the resistance doing basically nothing in the last episode. they were busy with Ivan the whole time so they couldn't have done anything. I think they should've figured out some plan to at least start taking other people's rings off and start helping them get to a point where they could help. Also it would've been cool if the entire season they were learning emotional regulation techniques cause if one mindfulness app is enough to basically hypnotize people I think that a bunch of kids going around coaching people through mindfulnes without the app could've been pretty effective at helping people through the nightmares so they don't become so dependent on the alliance app. that could've been pretty cool to see.
and also, if they were doing something like that, they wouldn't have needed to bring in all the fucking superheroes from all over the world that we haven't heard about until now. like, I swear, this is what I'm most angry about. this is the first time in the series that we're seeing anywhere that's not Paris for any significant period of time and it's to find out that there are superheroes everywhere. also also also, is this not the only miracle box left in existance?!?!?!? if the resistance were doing something like what I said above then they could've had a big group of people in paris not getting akumatized and helping fight the akumatized, which would make sense for them to do after everything that heppened with Chloe and her dictatorship just before all of this went down.
Cat Noir/Adrien should've been in the episode. Even with adrien's nightmare being a perfectly valid reason for why he wasn't going to try to escape, Kagami would've definitely been trying to escape her little prison and Felix would've been trying to break both of them out and you can't convince me otherwise. Now, if season six is gonna go down a, bug noir kind of failed actually and this is why cat noir is so important then fine it's a necessary evil, but they should've shown us Felix trying to break him out and adrien still refusing to go or be cat noir.

Making Amends - Forgotten - Prompt 17, Chapter 26
@felixmonth, @stainedglassm
Summary: For Felix Month 2021 - beware, the chapters are not in chronological order^^
When Felix loses a bet with his cousin, he has to make amends with Adrien’s friends. Well, at least this provides a good excuse to spent a lot of time with Adrien’s “very good friend”, a certain designer, who may or may not be described as tolerable … or cute. This may not be so bad. Yeah, not bad at all.

Felix stared at his notes and blinked slowly. Could it really be? He leaned forward and once more read through his checklist and all the details he had jotted down up until this point.
He turned around to look for his apprentice and when he spotted him, he excused himself and walked over to the table he and Mylene sat at.
"Sorry to interrupt. Ivan, could you take a look at this? I can't help myself, I feel as if I have forgotten something," he explained and placed everything in front of the other boy. Ivan let go of Mylene who he had embraced right before Felix had come over. He as well as his girlfriend leaned over the papers, the notebook, and the tablet.
"I can't see anything you might have forgotten. As far as I can tell, you've thought of everything. The venue, the catering, the personnel, the guests," he listed and pushed everything back over to Felix. "I don't know what might be missing. Maybe you forgot something else? Is there any birthday you should have remembered?"
Felix shook his head. There were only very few people whose birthday was important to him on a personal level. His grandparents' assistants took care of everyone important for business reasons and told him when he had to sign a present.
"What about Sabrina?" Mylene suddenly asked. Both boys gave her a confused look. "Sabrina?" he finally probed when she failed to offer any more explanation.
"Yeah, your bet with Adrien, you remember? As far as I can tell, you already did something for everyone else, except for Sabrina."
Mylene was correct. He had mentally put a check behind the punishment for the bet and completely forgotten that there was still one last person. He probably didn't remember, because Sabrina was always around Chloe and didn't seem to have much personality beyond her role as Chloe's sidekick. He felt a bit ashamed to admit, he had unconsciously not considered her as her own person.
"I think that might be it. Thank you, Mylene for reminding me. I shall go and correct this immediately," he announced, packed his stuff and turned to leave.
"Need help with that?" Ivan called after him and Felix gave him a small shake of his head over his shoulder. "Probably, but I really should at least try first. Pray that Chloe doesn't annoy me enough for me to do something reckless. We really need that venue."
***
Chloe Bourgeois was undoubtedly the most obnoxious, annoying, insufferable, infuriating, immature, horrible, despicable, outrageously vile brat to ever walk the face of the earth! At least this was Felix's very objective opinion.
Marinette had been pretty confused when he had stormed into her room and exclaimed, "Calm me down or I'm afraid you'll have to de-akumatize me because I'm done and more than willing to end that scion of a mangy mutt and a hornet!"
Marinette didn't hesitate and only a moment later Felix found himself lying on the chaise lounge with his head bedded on Marinette's lap. She hummed softly and gently brushed with her fingers through his hair. It was a heavenly feeling and Felix felt himself calm down and his eyes closed almost instantly. This was nice. Maybe he should get enraged more often if this was the payout.
For a few minutes, he simply didn't think of anything and just enjoyed being spoiled by his not-quite-yet-but-maybe-hopefully-soon-girlfriend. He planned to officially ask her at the gala after her show. She would have a bit more time then since everything would be over and the holidays would start only a week later. He wished he could invite her to stay at one of his family's estates, maybe the one he taught her horseback riding at. But he realised that she would rather stay in Paris and not leave for several weeks, even though she could use the horse miraculous to come back at any time.
"Do you want to tell me what happened that got you so upset?" she finally asked. Felix didn't reply right away. The sensation of her fingernails scratching gently over his scalp was extremely distracting. "Chloe Bourgeois has to be my most formidable foe," he finally answered, "which I feel insulted by since she's everything but formidable."
"Ah," he could hear Marinette's amused smile in her voice, he didn't need to see it, but he opened his eyes to sneak a glimpse nonetheless, "your arch-nemesis." Felix snorted at that. "Chloe isn't important enough to be an arch nemesis, more like a minor antagonist. She's a nuisance."
"I wouldn't have thought that a nuisance would be capable of getting you this riled up," she teased. But since she didn't stop her ministations Felix didn't mind. "I'd say Gabriel is my arch nemesis. And one day I will deal him a fatal blow."
"No murdering your uncle," Marinette stipulated, but didn't comment on this any further. Instead, she started to gently tug on his hair. "If I'm done with Hawk Moth before you're done with Gabriel, I'll even help you."
"I don't need to murder him. I just want him to suffer and regret everything he did to Adrien, my aunt and my family. I'll get a lot more satisfaction out of that." He didn't want to create a martyr. Adrien would never be free of Gabriel’s ghost if he died too soon, he would always feel morally obligated to do what his father would expect of him.
"So, Chloe made herself a nuisance. How exactly did she provoke your anger this time?" Felix sighed and tried to sit up, but Marinette just raised a brow and he obediently relaxed again.
“Today I was reminded that there is still one classmate left before I can call my punishment finished. I completely forgot that Sabrina is her own person and not simply an extension of Chloe,” he recounted his earlier revelation. Marinette just hummed in understanding and continued with her almost rhythmical tugging. “I went to talk to Sabrina, but thanks to Chloe I had no chance to have a conversation. Sabrina didn’t dare to acknowledge me after Chloe told her to act as if I was not there. In the end, Chloe even said I should do something else for her since that’s what Sabrina would want. And I really don’t want to do anything else for her.”
“Understandable. Sabrina might be the hardest person to do something nice for. Of course, the nicest thing would be distance to Chloe, so both of them can do some growing on their own, but you and I know that that’s not going to happen. And I don’t think Sabrina would call that as doing something nice either.” Marinette lifted one hand and rummaged around in some box on the desk. “But I think there is still something that can be done. And since Sabrina is especially hard, I’ll help you.”
"You will? Thank you! I have no-" Felix had sat up and stopped when he caught himself in the mirror and the strands of hair Marinette still held between her fingers.
"Did … did you braid my hair?" he asked bewildered. Marinette leaned forward and fixed the small braid with the hairpin she had just pulled out of the box on her desk and whispered, "I regret nothing."
***
“We could have met him at your place.”
“We could have. But the probability of Sabrina and Chloe coming here is zero,” Marinette retorted. She took a step back and gave the coffee table in his parlour a critical once-over. After a moment she stepped over to the floor-to-ceiling window and pulled a small side table over, so it would stand slightly to the left while she opened the right wing of the window. Felix observed her pulling the sheer curtain back over the opened half of the window, so it would blow in the gentle late spring breeze. Finally, she turned around and took the vase with the fresh flower bouquet she insisted on buying and placed it on the side table instead of the coffee table. Afterwards, she rearranged the pastries.
“The coffee table looked too cluttered,” she explained when she caught his perplexed face. This made him snort, “Well, you plundered half of the bakery display.”
“Most of that was for your mom and Ines for using your apartment for the meeting. At least a little compensation for the trouble. I know what Officer Raincomprix prefers, after all, he’s a regular at our bakery.”
Felix made the wise decision to not engage any further in this argument. Marinette had promised to help him with his last atonement and he knew how much she cared for details and perfection. And he also knew how she could get a bit snappish when there wasn’t anything else she could prepare to ensure said perfection. He was glad that he was one of the few people she felt comfortable enough around to not mask her nervousness with a grimace of a smile. And a snappish Marinette was still better for her than a spiralling Marinette. He could deal with that.
A knock sounded and after Marinette called Ines, their housekeeper opened the door to let them know that Officer Raincomprix had arrived.
“Thank you, Ines. Please let him enter.” Felix stood up again to step next to Marinette who now had a pleasant smile on her lips. Sabrina’s father stepped into the room and the housekeeper closed the door behind him.
“Thank you so much for coming, Officer Raincomprix,” Marinette immediately greeted him. Felix came up next to her to shake the hand of his guest.
“Please take a seat. Would you prefer coffee or tea or something else?” Felix asked. He fell effortlessly into the role of a host, after all, he had several lessons teaching him etiquette.
“Coffee, please. Black,” the man added after a moment. He seemed a bit nervous and awkward as he eyed the pastries but didn’t dare to take one.
“Feel free to help yourself to some pastries,” he offered the man after filling his cup with coffee. After serving the guest he filled Marinette’s cup with coffee but left enough space so she could fill it with some milk and sugar, although he knew she wouldn’t add the horrendous amount she usually preferred. It was unbecoming to add too much sugar when the drink wasn’t prepared in private.
He filled his own cup with black tea and added a splash of milk.
“You wanted to talk about Sabrina?” the man opened the conversation. He had a croissant on his plate but besides putting it there he hadn’t touched it or his coffee. Marinette paused in stirring her cup of coffee, then put her spoon down and gave Officer Raincomprix a reassuring smile.
“Sabrina is not in trouble, Officer Raincomprix. I asked you here on behalf of Felix.” She tilted her head slightly in his direction and he nodded. “Felix joined the class several weeks ago and on his first day, he lost a bet. The price for losing that bet was to do something nice for every member of the class. The only one, he hasn’t done anything for yet is Sabrina. Since she is always around Chloe Felix hasn’t been able to get to know her like the other classmates, which is why I asked you here. Maybe you could tell him a bit about Sabrina or something that would make her happy?”
The man seemed to relax at that. More than that, he seemed exceptionally excited about the opportunity to talk about his daughter and Felix could easily see how much he adored her. He learned that Roger Raincomprix had raised his daughter mostly on his own. Sabrina’s mother, a woman going by the name of Cecile Morel, was a successful ballet dancer. Whenever she was in Paris she would call, but she usually had engagements elsewhere.
“Cecile loves Sabrina. I know this and I’m sure Sabrina knows, too. But she is also very free-spirited and needs to roam and amaze people with her talent all around the globe. She would wilt away if she had to stay put. It wasn’t easy to tell her to follow her passion, but back then we were constantly fighting and that was even worse for Sabrina.”
"Do you think Sabrina misses her mother?" Marinette asked in a gentle voice. Felix didn't contribute a lot to the conversation. He preferred to listen and think. He probably wouldn't be able to convince Sabrina's mother to stay, going by what her father told them. But maybe it was a possibility to at least bring her back regularly? Although Felix's preferred profession was acting for movies and television shows, he had some contacts in the field of theatre and stage performance. But his idea would take some time. Getting someone a recurring engagement at the state ballet would be hard. Potentially even harder than getting someone a spot on the ensemble. He couldn't decide that. Marinette and he would only be able to use their influence to heavily encourage the artistic director to engage Sabrina's mother more often.
"I think she misses her at least a bit, but she usually doesn't talk about her a lot," the man replied. Marinette nodded. "I can imagine. I had no idea until now that her mother is a professional dancer, but I know that Sabrina would like to join the dance club at school. I once heard her and Chloe talk about that."
Felix noticed Marinette's suddenly stormy look. She had a lot more patience with Chloe than he did, but it still angered her that one word from the mayor's daughter would deter Sabrina from doing something she wanted to do.
Officer Raincomprix nodded slowly. "I am glad she has a friend," he started, "and I also think that Chloe needs a friend. I'm just questioning whether this friend has to be my Sabrina. I just hope Sabrina finds new friends at the lycée. Maybe some friends who won't simply override her wishes. I already know that she and Chloe will go to different schools. That was a huge discussion at home, but the deciding factor was that she wants to study law to become a judge one day."
After that, there wasn't much new information and finally, Officer Raincomprix announced that he had to leave.
"Please take some pastries with you. I have seen Sabrina eye the raspberry vanilla and the honeydew macarons the last time I've seen her at our bakery. Maybe you would like to take a few so she can try them?" Marinette offered, playing the perfect host once more. The man thanked her and packed a few macarons, a croissant and a pain au chocolat into a box. They accompanied him to the door and returned to the parlour to discuss what they learned.
"So, I assume you won't try to get her an internship with one of your lawyers?” Marinette placed a mocha macaron in front of him and arranged the leftover sweets in a way nobody could tell that some were already missing.
“It would have to do something with law, but considering how her father talked about it, I’m led to believe that her reason for pursuing a law degree is a yearning for justice and not the fine art of verbal and psychological warfare our lawyers practise. If that was something she liked she probably would have no issue asserting herself against Chloe.” Felix shook his head. “No, I would like to try to give her the chance to spend more time with her mother. But I think I might need your help for this.”
He looked at her and Marinette sat down and let him know to continue.
“I was thinking that maybe we could invite her mother to dance at the gala after the fashion show. If I remember correctly the artistic director of the Parisian State Ballet is a guest as well as the director of the Parisian Institute for the Performing Arts. Of course, we can’t make either of them engage her or make her take a possible offer. But we could mention to the art director how awed we are by her talent and how disappointing it is that she isn’t performing in Paris more often and maybe the director of the institute would consider engaging her as a guest lecturer.”
Marinette tilted her head slightly and nodded slowly.
“Try to contact her. Ask her if she would be willing to perform at the gala and tell her that of course she would be invited to the silent auction and the fashion show before the gala as well. You can mention that Sabrina and her father would also be invited. If I heard correctly she doesn’t necessarily try to avoid her daughter, she just finds work more often elsewhere. And since it’s already a bit on short notice, this might convince her. If your mother doesn’t want you to use your staff to fly her in or your money to buy her a plane ticket and a hotel room if she wants to stay at a hotel, I know my family would be fine with it. I’m sure you can make all the necessary arrangements.”
She stood up and stretched a bit. “Do you think you need more help from me?” she asked. Felix shook his head and stood up, too. “I think I’m fine and can do everything else,” he told her and pulled her for a half-hug into his side. “Thank you for helping me with this. I would have had no idea how to go about Sabrina.” He leaned over and gave her a small peck on her cheek. The smaller girl looked up at him and gave him a self-satisfied grin. “You’re welcome!” she smirked, returned the peck and then stepped out of his hug to take the two massive plates full of sweets and pastries.
“Now, eat your macaron! I made a batch of mocha macarons, especially for you,” she ordered and left the room. If someone asked him later how she opened the door although both her hands were occupied by heavy plates, he wouldn’t be able to answer. And Marinette would try to prevent anyone from revealing her mysteries.
“Amelie, Ines! Would you like some sweets?” he heard her call as he bit into the mocha macaron and enjoyed the mix of bitter and sweet flavours on his tongue.

I'm going to make this quick
So, I've finally caught up to Representation for Miraculous. I have some thoughts, but nothing like I did with Migration. That one hit a special nerve. Beware for any spoilers for Miraculous S5
Intuition:
Gabriel is ballsy. I do commend him for his risk and seeing the failures, but holy fuck. The whole thing with his afib and the heart beating made me squirm, but only because I suffer from heart problems myself, so it made me uneasy hearing that.
Pretension:
Ok. Feligami is cute.
Revelation:
Boring until Hoaxer, then it got interesting.
Confrontation:
Kudos to Sabrina for taking a stand. Also, short hair Lila is choice. Granted I love short hair on women.
Also, am I missing something, or did Juleka not have a speech problem back in season 1? It could just be me, but I thought she spoke fine at least until the later seasons when she started mumbling everything. Did I miss something?
Collusion:
Leave the fucking pregnant woman alone!! FFS!! I fucking get that Chloe is a brat and is gonna be that way, but Gabriel, leave the pregnant woman alone! Fuck! I nearly fucking cried when she got akumatized after dealing with all that stress of the day. FFS!
Now for the one (I assume) people are really interested in. Revolution:
I fucking laughed. So, yes, I acknowledge that in a fantasy, fictional world that kind of shit can happen. But in the real world and real world logic, there's no fucking way any of that would have happened. It's just like my nitpick with Jagged "just ripping up his contract." In the sense of our world, it wouldn't work. So, I don't know how to take this episode. I didn't hate it, but it did make me laugh with how nonsensical it was. So, it could have been worse.
Overall I didn't hate Chloe. She fulfilled her role well enough. I am more annoyed with Andre though. Kudos for wanting to fix your mistakes, but maybe grow a backbone and punish your daughter? No? Send her off with Audrey? Cool. Whatever.
Another thing I have is the fucking deus ex machina moment for Ladybug and Chat Noir. Fuck that shit. It's painfully obvious and while good deus ex machina moments exist, that wasn't one of them. I would have preferred there was more build up because, to me, they aren't grown up. They are still kids physically and mentally. Emotionally too. Fuck it, all around.
Now for spoiler territory. Representation:
I don't know. It could have been worse?
So, the story of the Agrestes and Graham de Vanillies was interesting, but a part of me wishes we learned in a different way. Or at the very least, not have Felix and Kagami act it out. I wanted to laugh so hard at it because it came off as so silly. Though I do like the idea that Adrien and Felix were literally miracle children. That I do love.
Also, this will be triggering to some and cause some hate, but I need to get this off my chest.
Felix, honey, I acknowledge that being called a monster all your life by someone who was supposed to "love" you is extremely damaging, but I don't think that necessarily make Colt a thousand times worse than Tomoe or any other abusive parents. I know pain is relative and it falls to the perspective of the individual, but I was expecting a lot worse. Again, it could just be me, but I expected so much worse from Colt than just controlling his son and calling him a monster. As far as I see it, Colt just falls in line with all the other shitty parents. Nothing special.
Last thing that confuses me is Chat/Adrien's nightmare. I get it's meant to be a reference to Chat Blanc and the danger he possesses, but why? As far as we know, Adrien would have absolutely no idea about those events, only Marinette. So, why that? I was honestly expecting something to do with him as Adrien, not Chat. But I guess we need to fabricate a reason for Adrien not to tell Marinette the truth and give him trauma. Right? Right?
And wouldn't he still remember it anyway despite the miracle being performed? It's a nightmare after all. That shit haunts you. And the way Gabriel made it sound was that it just bought their worst fears to the conscious rather than dwelling in the subconscious, y'know, as nightmares do. Also, no one tell Juleka, but if I'm reading her nightmare right, Jagged doesn't really love her. I don't care about the birthday episode since all we see is Jagged giving attention to Luka, not Juleka too. But that's just my hot take.
Last thing for Representation I want to call out. Marcaniel canon finally?! Yes please. You cannot convince me otherwise after seeing them away from the crowd, alone, holding hands, and about to do what we all know was gonna happen. First JuleRose, now Marcaniel. Best part of the episode.
This has been a L0tus rant. Have a lovely day.

Akuma Shenanigans
Two Voices In One Head
Marinette gets hit by an Akuma, after which another voice begins to sound in her head, and by the way he argues with her and contradicts, she recognizes him as her classmate – Felix. While his own body stays in a coma-like state, and he can control her body just as much as she can control her own body, Marinette must figure out how to deal with the Akuma without revealing her identity, given that Alya doesn’t understand her hints and can’t help...
Love Akuma (original idea bkdk)
Marinette is hit by the Akuma which causes everyone she meets with her eyes to fall in love with her. She has to only look down, because a couple of classmates whom she has already looked in the eyes relentlessly seek her attention and that is more than enough. She has to temporarily give her earrings to Alya, and while her friend replaces Ladybug, none other than Felix Fathom protects Marinette from pseudo-lovers. After all, he is the only one who for some reason wasn’t affected by her eyes and continues to behave rudely with her, though he doesn’t mind to guard her...
Little You (original idea JayTim)
When this Akuma hits a person, it causes the child they were a few years ago to appear near them. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Felix and Marinette are both hit with that Akuma and they end up taking care of the other’s kid-selves (teen Mari – of Felix-before-his-father’s-death, teen Felix – of Marinette-before-receiving-the-miraculous). And after talking with each of the other’s younger selves, they just might change their opinion of the other, which leads to a change in their relationship...
4+1 trope
Accidental Touches
4 times accidental touches with Felix cause Marinette mixed feelings and once she realizes that she wants to touch him on purpose
In the beginning, it’s just random touches, when she passes papers to him in class, – and she hardly notices it. Once Felix suddenly removes something from her hair, completely confusing her with his actions. One day, he puts his hand to her forehead to jokingly check her temperature, saying that she is delusional, and the other day he just picks her up and takes her out of the classroom as a protest in an argument. But gradually Marinette realizes that now she wants a special, not at all random touch from Felix...
It wasn’t meant for you!
4 times Marinette texted Felix by accident and once his answer took her by surprise
Marinette has a weird tendency to confuse Felix’s chat with others’ and text him instead of someone, whose name in her contacts doesn’t even closely resemble his. Whether it’s a text addressed to Adrien, or information for a bakery customer, or a photo she wanted to send to Alya, – Marinette repeats her mistake over and over again. At first, Felix gets annoyed, then mocks her, but one day his answer changes the whole course of their communication...
The Way I Cry For You
4 times Felix made Marinette cry and 1 time it was from happiness
How many times had she shed tears for him already! When Felix declared that her naive crush on his cousin made no sense and would never work, Marinette cried in resentment. When, after many months of constant arguments with Felix, she realized that she was falling in love with this asshole, – she cried from self-pity. When he suddenly left for London and missed the school evening where she was going to invite him to dance, – she cried from powerlessness to change something in her life. But maybe Marinette hasn’t exhausted all the possibilities as to why she might be crying over Felix Fathom?
Random
Big Prank
Marinette scolds Felix for his pranks on Chloe, Alya, Adrien, and others, calling them child’s play. In revenge, Felix decides to play a bigger prank on Marinette herself, pretending to be seriously injured. Marinette’s reaction is not at all what he expected and reveals to both of them such deep sides of their relationship that they didn’t expect to find...
Bachelor Auction
The school is holding a charity auction and Adrien is too much in demand for Marinette to compete with others for him. She decides to take the one of the guys who remains – after all, the main thing is to invest the money that she brought to charity. But the only one no one wants to buy is Felix, a terrible prankster who makes fun of everyone. Could an unexpected date with him hold any surprises for Marinette other than his endless pranks?
My Amazing Girlfriend
Felix and Marinette are dating for a while now and they thought that everyone knew about it, but when someone in the class makes a remark that Felix will never find himself a girlfriend, Felix replies that he already has one, and no one believes him, – they realize that everyone still perceives their flirting-through-arguments for quarrels. What will they do about it?

Miraculous Ladybug Reboot Explanation
Alright, so i thought about that a summary or short passage about my Au as whole wasn’t enough explanation. Au introduction page was just little so, i wanted to explain more.
What is Miraculous Ladybug Reboot?
Tumblr media
Miraculous ladybug reboot is an Au where its a mixture of the original and the concepts but in my own take/version of it.
Why you made Miraculous Ladybug Reboot?
Am late to the party but, Miraculous Ladybug has been going down hill lately. They continuously ruining characters and milking this series. They think its funny to show Marinette being a creep 24/7. And Adrien clearly have little personality and hardly show him (its really bad now in season 4, though lies show his own screentime.) Worst part, Thomas astruc can’t take criticism and blocks people (am aware some people attacks him for no reason). So i decided to make this that kinda erase the terrible things that happened in Miraculous Ladybug.
About Miraculous Ladybug Reboot
(copied and pasted from Au Introduction page)
14 years old teenage girl name Marinette Dupain-Cheng was once a normal student at Françoise Dupont Highschool. One day, Marionette was helping with parents by cleaning the attic. Marinette found a music box on the floor. She look around, decided to pick it up, and put it in her pocket. Afterwards, she decided to open the box in the her room, finding black earrings inside. She decided to try on the earrings and suddenly a creature came out of the box. The creature introduced themselves as Tikki and explained those earrings. Afterwards, Marinette decided to become a superhero known as Ladybug.
Changes
Both of the main characters getting equal amount of screentime
Tumblr media
if the show was really about feminisms, then they show that woman and man equal. Both strong in both ways doesn’t matter. This also includes screentime.
Removing Marinette's creepiness and suffering.
Tumblr media
(yes am using this picture, still the worst thing i ever seen in this entire show)
Her being obsessive creepy stalker is obviously not ok and teaches kids to think that doing this is ok. So am just going remove that, and keep the idea that she have a crush on him.
other thing that’s wrong if the fact they just keep making Marinette suffer and have too much stress for a teenager. She does too much work for hero, does bakery, babysits and etc. The worse of all is making her guardian. because of all this, she had to tell Alya her secret for emotional support (or something else). Am removing this because its too much stress for teen and it makes me think she have suicidal thoughts and just keeping a smile on her face around people.
Speaking of Guardian...
Marinette will not be a Guardian
Tumblr media
Yea, i see nothing good about her being a guardian. If anything it ruins the outcome of the entire point of love square. Even worst, she’ll just forgot Adrien anyway if she quits being guardian.
Not so much heroes
Tumblr media
Having too many heroes takes too much time with just saying. You can’t really develop all those heroes at all. So i have shorten it out to only 5.
Chloe actually having a Development
Tumblr media
Look idc if a creator makes a character go through Treason arc. However, the way Chloe arc was written, it definitely wasn’t a Treason arc. If anything it looked like a development but the team acting like she never had one.  So am just going to do the bully to antihero to hero arc scenario.
Lila being a part of the main antagonist
Tumblr media
So basically i wanted her to be the one who starts a rival but is truly a villain who secretly hiding something from everyone.
People is not going get akumantized repeatedly as different forms instead some one else get akumantized.
Tumblr media
I rather for the person to be akumantized either once or twice. Not the 100th time. It makes hawk moth look like a joke. So i will make it where Hawk Moth would give up the person after once or twice and attempts to find some one who can be strong enough to beat Ladybug or chat noir.
When Hawk moth defeated, there be another main villain.
Tumblr media
There be 7 main villains in total. All them deals with controlling some one emotion.  Expect for the last one, which is like the “final” boss of the series.
Nathalie being anti-villain but still the antagonist
Tumblr media
I wanted to see if i can write assistant betraying their boss.  At the same time, being evil just for the sake of their boss.  Sorry gabenath shippers.
Some adults being smart for once.
Tumblr media
Can we just agree that most of the adults in this show shares the same braincell awhile all the teenagers are smart? Idk, they just easily gullible to lila’s lie and expel Marinette without any proof or something to know she did it.
There’s not just controlled villains, there’s villains just being villains.
Tumblr media
Not every villain is going akumantized, in fact, there will be villains who just evil on their own. They pretty much attack the city and stuff like akumanzatied villains do. This is so that it will balance out the akumanzations.
The villains usually comes in a certain time. Like day, afternoon, noon, or night.
Specials are apart of the story, the heroes will learn something, and the heroes will later will come back.
Tumblr media
If the heroes going go to different cities, i want them to at least learn something from it.
Unifications would not exist for other kwamis, it will only for 2 kwamis only which its definitely not the ladybug or cat miraculous.
Tumblr media
Unifications are op not going lie. There’s no weakness between the powers or weaken the other. The weakness it have is making the user go out of control if consume too many kwamis. I might be wrong though.
So i will only use it for 2 kwamis only (which is not going be said for right now).
Alya not being a hardcore Adrien x Marinette shipper
Tumblr media
It gets annoying if your bestfriend really wants you and your crush to be together so badly and forces you into uncomfortable spots where your crush is at. Even your friend becomes a hypocrite for a straight minute. I have to erase this so that Alya can be actual friend.
Gay characters that are in relationship actually treated like a relationship instead of a very good best friend thing.
Tumblr media
I just want to them actually feel like they in actual relationship.
The guardians mentor their heroes if they have soon experienced enough.
Tumblr media
I don’t know, wang fu doesn’t really train anyone or be a good guardian for once. Now he’s gone.
Zoe being an secret agent instead of a hero
Tumblr media
Before you call me a zoe hater, i just want to say this. Zoe entire existence doesn’t make sense. She was never mentioned in the show until season 4. Audrey cheating also doesn’t add up either and causes more plot holes. So i made it where zoe is secret agent from new york who was tasked to go France. She lied about being chloe’s half sister (and other things) just so she get near to her mission. Which leads to another villain soon.
Felix not being a cousin nor evil
Tumblr media
I don’t like how they made felix evil at all. It just feels like insult for the fans who asked him to be in it in the first place. So i made Felix Adrien's brother whose not evil but just gloomy.
Stormy weather being a separate entity
Tumblr media
I think it will be cool to see her as a separate villain instead of akumantized one.
Some characters will be either changed or deleted.
Tumblr media
Characters will be changed since it is a reboot thing, however some may be deleted because i either don’t like them, can’t find a way how to write them, or they seem pointless character in general.
Viperion is still exist but in a different way
Tumblr media
i think its best not to explain this one until later
Superheroes (not miraculous heroes) were created by a mage.
Tumblr media
I think is best to not explain this one  either until later
Added things
Species
Tumblr media
There’s going be more species instead of Superhumans, Kwamis, and Humans. It so that the universe can be expanded.
Dimensions
Tumblr media
(lol portals)
Dimensions existed for bigger plot points in the story. It also another way to expand the universe some how. The only way to enter dimensions is by portals or keys.
Types of kwamis
Tumblr media
There will be types of kwamis. Like animal kwami, mythical kwami, dark kwami, hoilday kwami and corrupted kwami.
There will also be guardian for each type.
More types of akumanzation/amokzations
Tumblr media
As i said eariler, there be more villains with more controlling type powers.
Daroness
Tumblr media
Daroness is faraway villain that is owned by Rodrigue. Hawk moth works there as the chairman, making missions for the villains that works for him. However, he doesn’t akumantize people in this place, he does it in his lair instead. Welp, that’s all for now. Thanks for reading :)

Note
So I have an idea for Chloe in the Winx AU! In the season with Mythix and the Legendarium they introduced, kinda out of nowhere, a character named Serena (if I recall correctly) that was apparently Bloom's best friend growing up in Gardenia.
Despite the annoying introduction just springing on us that we're supposed to care about this person and her relationship to Bloom, I was willing to roll with it because she had a neat aesthetic, a cool plotline, and a potentially interesting character arc.
Basically, she could have been a fairy like Bloom, but she was jealous and impatient, and a powerful, wicked force offered her a de that would give all the magic she could dream of. So she took the offer and became a witch.
There's also a character that was established much earlier in the show, Bloom's Human rival, (who I believe is called Mitzi, unless that was only her name in the dub I watched), so I thought, why not combine the two characters?
Have a rival for Marinette established in her normal life from before she even knew she was magic, have her find out magic is real and have Chloe accidently find out as well, and then Chloe becomes obsessed with not only being magic, but being more magic than Marinette, because she's supposed to be better than Dupain Cheng!
And because it's canon (again, apparently, I found this out through the Wiki) that witches fuel their magic through negative emotions and fairies through positive ones, then Chloe wouldn't even be able to be a fairy until she gets over her jealousy caused by her need to be the most extraordinary person in every situation.
Also like every stereotypical mean girl, Bloom's rival had two best friend sidekicks who never really said much, so I'm thinking in this au that's Aurore and Sabrina, but they actually get development when Chloe starts getting redeemed after we're introduced to Lila and Felix, but this is long enough as it is so I won't get into all of that yet.
However, what I will say is while I normally don't ship Chloe with guys because 💅, in this particular case I think the perfect ship is Wayloe, because of the whole plotline in the first season where Brandon and Sky swap names for reasons I still to this day don't fully understand, and Chloe is the equivalent of Stella in this AU in that her powers and role in the group are kinda similar, but her story is different and her addition to the cast is very different and later than the others.
So yeah, Tl;Dr - Chloe and Wayhem are Stella and Brandon.
Sorry for sending such a long ask and I hope you like my idea! I love your art so much!!!!
Sorry for the long wait omg but thank you for sharing!! To be honest I didn’t put much thought into the AU I just wanted to doodle smth to get it out of my head lol. I didn’t really intend for characters in ML to replace or act as the characters in Winx Club but feel free to do whatever you want with this au!! I’m really happy you enjoyed it and again thank you sm for sharing :D I did like reading through this and I’m glad my initial idea sparked some of your own! 🍓💕

Ml prompts (salt edition)
As I promised, this are just some of the plots for fics that I been thinking, a few for a while, others today or this week. Not all of them involve Lila, and even in those she’s not always the focus (Not all of them can be considered ‘salt’ exactly, while others can be labeled as ‘actions have consequences’).
In case anyone want to use them this are the rules (I can made them since this are my ideas):
First of all I want to be tagged for the original idea.
No OOC or bashing of any character (except Gabriel).
No Alya salt unless it’s minimum and only if she’s redeemed at the end. She already gets more than enough hate from the fandom.
Other than that, please refrain of using any of the tropes mentioned in this post:
Max has a crush on Lila, that’s why he keeps believing everything she says (I thought this long before the twitter comment; besides it says that Max’s asexual, not aromatic).
Kim wants to be supporting since she’s his best friend’ first love, even if he doesn’t believe all of her tales (he’s not ruining his chances to become an Olympic medalist following a training regimen that Lila insist ‘was created for my great uncle, a platinum medalist’).
Alix’s getting sick of Lila, if she wanted to hear some self-insert bad fanfic she would spend more time with her brother.
Juleka wants to believe Lila and follows her advices about 'how to be a good model’ until her family intervenes.
After getting several comments complaining of how the Ladyblog’s really unorganized, Alya finally decide to create a side blog (Miracutales) for all the fan-arts and fanfics links her followers keep sending her, and with Nora’s help she spends a whole afternoon fixing her blog. When Lila’s finally exposed the blogger freaks out until her sister comments “Wait, that interview? I send it to your fanfic blog ages ago”.
Lila going on and on to Mylene about a movie actor the other admires, how they’re 'like this’ and that 'I can introduce you to him, he thinks of me as his niece’. Meanwhile the rainbow haired girl’s just nodding with a forced smile while the Italian keep spewing bullshit about her favorite theater actress.
Nino barging into Marinette’s room dragging his little brother, saying that she needed to watch over him on his place since he has a date with Alya. Cue to Alya clearing her throat from the other side of the room, where they were working on a school project.
Lila stole Nathaniel’s sketchbook the day before an important meeting and hid it in Marinette’s locker. Ignoring almost the whole class insistence that she didn’t do it, that anyone could’ve put it in there since there’s no locks, he grabbed her own sketchbook from her bag and ripped it into pieces to everyone’s horror. Marc saw this and he’s akumatized; once it’s all over he still ends their partnership*
*Although cruel, I don’t believe that this is so out of character for Nathaniel. He already has proven to have serious anger issues in Reverser and Evilustrador (While I don’t hold him responsible for what he did under Gabriel’s control, comparing him to other akumas wanting to get revenge of Chloe it’s worrying how much pleasure he seemed to find while tormenting her).
Adrien keep blowing off plans to hang out with his friends to go away as Chat Noir, using the excuse that his father keep adding things to his schedule. One day after he canceled once again, saying that he has a last minute photo shoot, the boys are hanging out in the park where they cross with Vincent. He tells them that he’s the only photograph that Gabriel Agreste trust to work with his son, and that Mr. Agreste was away on a trip for the weekend so Adrien’s schedule was pretty much free until his father came back.
It’s election time again and the Mayor’s opposition has a new slogan: “If he can’t even control his daughter, how can we trust him to protect this city best interest?”
Someone as a joke proposed Xavier Ramier (Mr. Pidgeon) as Mayor. He won.
Felix GV returns and once again pretends to be his cousin. He’s dragged into a photo shoot with Lila; he may be a bastard who hates his uncle and he may be annoyed with Adrien but he still has standards.
With the end of the school year near Alya’s just relieved that since they’ll start Lycée they wouldn’t have to deal with Chloe and Bustier (with her fairytales for assignments) ever again. Until a conversation with Marinette.
“What do you mean we would have Bustier again next year? We’re done with Francoise Dupond! She was your teacher for five years in a row*?! That woman is an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER??!”
*Until Chat Blanc Marinette’s been in Chloe class for five years now, at least four of them with Bustier according to picture’s day. Their class’ in middle school a.k.a three years so…well, that explains a lot about her teaching methods.
Marinette decides to let go of her crush on Adrien (not bashing), and with Alya supporting her choice (even if she doesn’t totally agree with giving up) Rose becomes the new captain of the Adrienette ship; trying to get them together against her friend wishes.
After discovering Hawk Moth’s identity Marinette decides she’ll never be like him and toss aside her dream of be a famous fashion designer. She either finds a new dream or simply opens just a small store away from the spotlight, with sporadic commission for people she’s close to.
At last, I like to call this section’s “Responsible Adults (Are trying their best)”
Marinette doesn’t know every celebrity under the sun, only Jagged, Nadja and maybe Clara. Gina Dupain, world traveler extraordinary, however has a rare gift when it comes to meeting new people by chance without knowing who they are*.
(“I sat beside this guy once in a plane, he was such a charming young man. Here, there’s a pic” “Nonna that was *insert celebrity here*!” “Who?”)
*This in the only kind of celebrity insert I would aprove.
Surprise inspection from the French educational department (whatever it’s called), some heads are going to roll.
Officer Raincomprix at first was happy that Sabrina stopped hanging out with Chloe and made a real friend; then he realized that this girl was even worse than the Mayor’s daughter.
The school nurse accidentally cause an international affair after calling the Italian Embassy asking why the Ambassador’s daughter didn’t have the proper vaccines for all the travels she keep claiming to have made.
After seeing Nathalie faint in the middle of a car drive, a worried Gorilla brings her to the ER. While checking her vitals (she’s still unconscious) a nurse accidentally knocks her brooch out of her coat, and while putting it back a strange creature materialize in front of them.
“Any of you has Ladybug in speed dial?”
One of the Agreste servants (let’s be honest, how else would that place stay clean) discovers Hawk Moth secret lair.
“I don’t get paid enough for this”.

Who will be the next Hawk Moth?
Alright, well there’s a lot of different theories on who will be “the next Hawk Moth”. So I wanted to do a break down on some possibilities (warning: this analysis is REALLY long lol)
Lila
I feel like Lila is very likely to be the next one. She already has a leg up in working with Gabriel (despite not knowing he’s Hawk Moth).
Tumblr media
Even though Hawk Moth hasn’t reached his goal of getting Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculouses, he’s made good progress. With Lila’s help, he’s gotten PRETTY damn close to getting them since she has that deep hatred of Ladybug. Without her, he wouldn’t have had his invasion of scarlet moths possessing Paris.
Tumblr media
Additionally, Lila is pretty full of herself and does just about everything for her own benefit. She could easily grow a bigger hatred towards Ladybug and find out about the benefits of their miraculouses to have her own wish granted.
It’s really difficult to see her as a redeemable character since she has yet to show any redeemable qualities. But, hey, maybe there will be a plot twist where she’ll change her ways.
Chloe
As much as I’d LOVE to see Chloe develop into a better person since we see she is the way she is, I don’t have too much faith in Thomas Astruc’s writing.
Thomas initially started Chloe off as the annoying and conceited bully, then she started seeing the error of her ways, and finally...she was pulled back to square one.
It’s obvious that Chloe is pretty strong. She knows Hawk Moth is evil and has fought off an akuma even when she was super angry with Ladybug. However, Hawk Moth IS a rather powerful man and was able to akumatize Chloe on many occasions. She became his most successful akumatized victim as Miracle Queen. I feel like the fandom doesn’t talk enough about how Chloe managed to get almost ALL the miraculous holders to reveal their identities. (Don’t come for Hawk Moth in saying he hasn’t made a lot of progress - he HAS.)
Tumblr media
The main issue with Chloe is that she can easily be manipulated into doing things for Hawk Moth because she has that disliking for Ladybug, deep down. She doesn’t want to hate Ladybug but obviously it’s been tough since she won’t let Chloe have her bee miraculous, and being Queen Bee is very important to her. Chloe wants to be powerful and heroic to feel good about herself since her mom doesn’t see her as something special (which is awful, I feel so bad for Chloe, honestly.)
Even though the likelihood is there, I really don’t want Chloe to become the next Hawk Moth. In season 4, it’d be nice to see some of her character development come back, and hopefully her and her mom build a stronger relationship now that Audrey has decided to stay in Paris with the family. Thomas Astruc needs to make Chloe better but KEEP it that way. She’s shown redeemable qualities and we know why she acts the way that she does. There’s a ridiculous amount of potential for her to be a wonderful, well-rounded character instead of just the evil bully Thomas makes her out to be.
Felix
So far, we’ve only seen Felix in one episode, but we already have a good idea of what he’s like. He’s very manipulative as a form of coping with his father’s death.
Tumblr media
Felix already has a bit of a vendetta against Gabriel for keeping Emilie’s family heirlooms, and managed to steal them from Gabriel. He also wasn’t very nice to Adrien in pretending to be him and attempting to hurt his friendships. All of those things Felix did just prove he’d make a *good* villain.
Tumblr media
My theory is that he’ll come back for at least one more episode, since he took the wedding rings that were very precious to Gabriel. However, it’s kind of strange to me that Felix hasn’t even been mentioned since his debut episode. So, we will see if this devilish boy makes a comeback.
Adrien
People have had this theory a while back, but it’s just incredibly unlikely at this point.
Tumblr media
Adrien cares deeply about his mom and wants her back, of course. However, we see in Cat Blanc that he tried to cataclysm his own father for what he’s done. He was so hurt by his father’s motives, he triggered the end of the world.
Tumblr media
There could potentially be an episode where Adrien hears his father out and tries the butterfly miraculous out for himself, but Bunnyx would come out of her burrow and shut that shit down.
OR, we know Gabriel is an awful father and he could somehow manipulate his own son to take his spot as Hawk Moth. (But again, Bunnyx could easily shut this down, too.)
Adrien loves being Cat Noir; he’s shown to be the Cat Noir in the future. He has an extremely good heart. So they’ve pretty much denied Adrien becoming the new Hawk Moth, at this point.
Luka
I think this is the most interesting idea I’ve seen on who the next Hawk Moth will be. (I recommend watching Cat Blanc x Princess Justice’s YouTube video analysis on this. It’s really good! I mention some of her points in here.)
Luka is almost too nice of a character. He cares a lot about other people and just sort of lets Marinette take advantage of his kindness, which is really sad, BUT there could easily be a motive we don’t know behind that, or he’s secretly bothered by it deep down.
There’s that theory that Luka knows Marinette is Ladybug. He could be trying to get closer to her to take the miraculous from her since he might know the power the ladybug and black cat miraculous hold.
Or, like I mentioned before, if Luka is bothered deep down by Marinette’s romantic feelings for Adrien, there could be something that happens that pushes him over the edge. We’ve even seen that Luka makes a terrifying villain as Silencer. He was super manipulative and had a lot of good tactics. Ladybug and Cat Noir DID in fact have a really hard time fighting him. Luka is also not the type of person to get angry like that, but Hawk Moth needs STRONG emotion to feed off of. So, considering how powerful of a villain Luka was, there’s clearly some anger boiling within him.
Tumblr media
We also don’t have that much of a backstory to work off of. We’re slowly learning more, but think about it, for instance, we don’t know who his father is. Some people have theorized it’s Jagged Stone but we’re REALLY not sure. So, maybe it’s a motive of his to find his father.
Thomas Astruc made Luka a very likable character, enough so to get most of the fandom to actually like the Lukanette ship. Luka could have been made purposely likable so that the fandom won’t believe that he will be the next villain.
Another good point Cat Blanc x Princess Justice had made was that Miraculous World made a tweet that Miraculous will be introducing a new villain in season 4 - but it’s a character we already know. Lila and Felix are already known BUT they’re also already well-established villains....
Kagami
If Luka is a possibility, so is Kagami. Half the fandom thinks Kagami is great, the other half thinks she’s awful.
Kagami is shown to have a very strong personality (that sometimes comes off as a bit threatening). She’s very blunt about everything, very uptight, doesn’t beat around the bush. Those three characteristics are similar to Gabriel, HOWEVER Kagami has a caring soul and she really wants to be good to Adrien and Marinette.
Tumblr media
So, it’s possible, but unlikely and definitely hard to pinpoint what intentions she could possibly have of becoming a villain. Maybe her mother pinches a certain nerve, or she can’t understand why Adrien doesn’t love her.
Additionally, Thomas Astruc doesn’t cut Adrien a lot of slack, let’s be real here. Adrien’s father is already Hawk Moth, he could switch it to his “girlfriend” being Hawk Moth.
Alya
So, I have a bit of an interesting theory on this since I haven’t really seen anyone else mention anything about Alya potentially becoming bad.
Tumblr media
Despite Alya/Rena Rouge having a strong bond and trust with Ladybug, there’s that possibility she still wants to unveil who Ladybug really is - she still runs The Ladyblog, after all. And of course, unveiling Ladybug’s identity is extremely dangerous. She even posted the museum exhibit to her blog in Feast, which she didn’t realize was dangerous. It shows that she might slip and reveal something that she shouldn’t have.
Or, maybe Alya manages to lose Ladybug’s trust. Something monumental could happen. There’s already that bit of danger surrounding Ladybug and Rena Rouge since they’re such close friends in real life and know nearly everything about each other.
Hawk Moth also now knows that Alya is Rena, and could do something to push her to reveal something on The Ladyblog, therefore turning her into a villain.
Also, Alya already knows SO much of the Ladybug lore. She’s dedicated so much time to researching the lore behind the miraculouses. Also pretty dangerous and suspicious.
Nino
Like Alya, there’s a chance Nino also loses Ladybug and/or Cat Noir’s trust. When Nino first got his miraculous, he wasn’t very good at acting like a different person in his superhero persona. He could easily slip and reveal an something he isn’t supposed to.
He is the least likely possibility, but not completely impossible.
Tom or Sabine
I put these two in the same excerpt because they have about the same amount of likeliness to be the next Hawk Moth (or maybe one is Hawk Moth and the other is Mayura 👀)
Tom and Sabine are both super sweet, but also, we don’t know a whole lot about them. Since Gabriel - father of sweet cinnamon roll hero Cat Noir - is Hawk Moth, who’s to say superhero Ladybug’s own parents couldn’t become evil? It’d create a super interesting dynamic in the plot because it’s like how would Marinette react if one of her parents was Hawk Moth?
I have a stronger theory that Tom and Sabine used to be the old Ladybug and Cat Noir, but still. Don’t put it past Thomas Astruc to trick us somehow.
How would Gabriel fail (or lose his miraculous)?
One last thing I’d also like to analyze relating to this is this question.
Does Gabriel NOT end up ever getting Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculouses? Let’s look over some possibilities:
1) One of the villains he creates or senti-monsters Nathalie creates becomes too powerful and doesn’t give him the miraculouses once they’re captured.
2) He gives up and realizes all he needs is his dearest son Adrien.
3) He gets sickly and can’t fight anymore and passes on his miraculous for someone else to do the job.
4) Simplest answer: His miraculous is stolen.

The Gods AU:
Evillustrator (Part 1)
- Nataniel has a crush on Marinette since she got to the school, but he never got the chance to actually talk to her because they didn't have any classes together.
- He totally draws her all the time.
- During lunch he was drawing a story about "what would happen if Marinette and I were dating " when the bell rang. He ran because he didn't want to be late, but he fell next to Chloe.
- She sees drawings and of course she's jealous, Chloe does her Chloe stuff and Nataniel leaves crying. (Deep down she feels kinda bad tho, she's been in love with the tomato head since they were in kindergarten)
- Nataniel gets akumatized
- Chloe rips a page out of the book for her and then tells Sabrina to leave it somewhere on the floor (she knows how important that thing is to him, that's why she doesn't throw it away)
- Marinette, Chloe and Sabrina have the project together, but the only one in the group who has a problem is Chloe (she's still jealous)
- In the library Chloe orders Sabrina and Marinette to do all the project while she gets her nails done.
- Marinette notices that something's wrong, she asks if she needed to talk and that she could tell her everything. (Like I said: Marinette is more kind and sweet in this au, she believes that there isn't such a thing as bad or good people, there's just humans who are hurt)
- Chloe still didn't tell her what happened, but Marinette convince her to help on something. She only read one page of the assignment and then she said that it was enough and that they should thank her because she almost did all the work. (Marinette it's ok with it, she thinks that it's a progress and with the time she'll get used to do something by herself)
- Evillustrator shows up.
- While Chat noir it's trying to protect Chloe, in the park Felix is waiting for the annoying blonde to arrive so they can start the damn photoshoot.
- The fact that the human is always late to his appointments only made Felix dislike him more.
- The photographer tells him that it's cancelled because there's an akuma and he doesn't want the photoshoot to happened like the last time with Stormy weather.
-Felix is pissed because they just wasted an hour of his eternal life doing nothing but waiting for him.
- Felix sees Chat noir getting out of the school. He dosen't care about where he's going, but even if he dosen't like to admit it he's worried about his love. He knows she is perfectly capable of protecting herself, but she's in her human form. That makes her vulnerable.
- The god knows that's the high school Marinette is going to and if Chat noir was there it meant that the akuma was there too.
- He goes to check on her (he hasn't seen ladybug so that made things worse)
- He sees Marinette running off the school library, but she totally stops when she feels him.
- He wanted to ask her if she was alright or if she needed help, but he sees an open book with the pages full of drawings of Marinette kissing someone else.
- Felix found Nathaniel's sketchbook
Master list

A promise to keep you safe- Lukadrien June Day 1
It’s here! My second @lukadrien-june. I haven’t started s4 but just going off what I’ve heard others talk about, I don’t think I will. Instead I’ll just focus on my love for lukadrien which by this time last year had been a small growing love but is now my top ship of the whole show. Sorry Adrienette, just not really doing it for me anymore, but I still love you. Anyway, back to this month long event. This story was inspired by the k-drama, The Last Empress, which is basically about a normal girl who marries into the royal family. However, she finds out it was all a lie and that the royal family is corrupt and messed up and decides she’s going to bring them down. The head of security is an inside man also hoping to bring them down and the two get closer. We were robbed of them getting together in the show, but you can’t deny that’s where they were going, no matter how that show ended. I hope this doesn’t count as salt towards Gabriel, cause I can see him doing this and Audrey, well I needed a bad guy. Anyway, enjoy. Promise
Luka watched his sister pretty up the gift bag, trying not to think of the reason he had it in the first place. The royal family of France was, well, corrupt. It hadn’t always been like that, or maybe it had been but no one ever noticed because there were actual people who cared who spoke louder. To Luka, it was just the people he had to live ruling over his life. Then things changed.
He’d been on the Liberty about to sit down for a movie with his sister when they got a call no one ever wanted. Their mom, who’d been going to visit a friend had been hit in a hit and run and died. Having to go identify the body was one of the worst things in Luka’s life. The funeral, the Viking send-off she wanted (a safe version), the fear that they’d lose the Liberty and each other had it not been for an anonymous donation for the boat to stay with them and to help with Luka’s emancipation and getting custody of his sister.
During all this, he’d gotten a letter with an SD card. The card had a video, a traffic cam. It showed his mother walking back home when a black SUV suddenly came and ran into her. He watched the driver get out and look annoyed as he nudged Anarka with his foot. That driver was the King. The letter stated that the King’s engagement was used as an alibi to keep him clean and his car had seemingly vanished. If he wanted to help take the corrupt monarchy down, he needed to work at the castle. The only open position was part of the royal Imperial Guard. He’d promised his mom back when he was in lycée, he’d stay out of fights, but he hoped she’d forgive this just once. With a friend’s help, he created a fake identity, knowing the name Couffaine would raise flags with the King, passed the written exam and had been the only person still standing in the physical. He told Juleka to say he’d gone traveling to deal with their mother’s death and stay with her girlfriend if she thought it safe. He’d entered the palace, not knowing how things would go or even who to look for when it came to joining to bring the monarchy down.
Imagine his surprise when it turned out the Crown Prince was the one who sent him the letter.
“Why are you doing this?” Luka had growled, holding Prince Adrien by his collar in the unused wing of the castle he’d been asked to come to.
“Because it doesn’t matter who my father is, he deserves to be punished. I wish I could say he hasn’t always been like this but I know he has. Isn’t it strange that the Crown Prince almost never leaves the castle and neither did my mother after marrying my father?  My father has always been like this. My mother tried to bring him down and she’s dead. I’m not going to stop until I finish what she started.”
So he agreed to help, but he was cautious. For all he knew, the Prince would turn against him. He had quite the team already. Marinette, his personal assistant, whose grandfather had his heirlooms stolen by the King after refusing to sell them. Alya and Nino, Adrien’s PR team. Alya’s younger twin sisters and Nino’s younger brother all had rare blood types and needed a surgery for a simple procedure. Said blood type was also shared with the King and after an accident he had, the blood had been ripped from the kids. The children had gotten sicker and now stayed at the hospital waiting for another shipment. Chloe, who was the daughter of the King’s newest wife, had been insulted beyond believe by the King and treated like dirt. And now him, a person’s who mother was taken too early and the King wouldn’t take reasonability.
It became clear very quickly that the Prince, that Adrien meant what he said. He was good at pretending to be the prefect prince and obedient son, but he’d been collecting seeds and releasing them too slowly. First with the announcement of Duke Felix, nephew to the King was actually his illegitimate son. Then starting to release the questions of what happened to the Queen, starting with leaving clues to her real body.
He could see that doing all this was taking a toll on Adrien. The public was getting distressed and people wanted to point fingers. Luka wanted to help but instead Adrien wanted to focus on getting more information about Anarka’s death. The cover up, the moving of her body to be found else were, finding the missing car, finding out Nathalie’s whole involvement in all this. It started to boil up emotionally for Luka and after nearly taking care of the King himself, he left the castle and sat in front of his mother’s grave for hours before Adrien found him there.
“It’d be so easy to kill him, to make him pay.” Luka said, still holding onto his anger.
“It would be, but I don’t think your mother would want that.”
Luka remembered the anger just releasing at the thought of what his mother would tell him if he’d been closer to killing the King. “My mom was this wild chaos driven person. She came from a proper family and hated it. So when she got older, she went her own way. She raised us with such trust that we knew hiding things from her wouldn’t help us and we never wanted to disappoint her. I used to get into so much trouble with fighting. I guess my empathic ways really had a hard time dealing with everything and I would lash out. She was the one who encouraged me to use my music to speak, not my fists. I was never this weird person or uncontrollable child. I was her kid and she loved me and she didn’t deserve this.” He stared at her headstone. “She hated the cold.”
He hadn’t been expecting Adrien to take his scarf off, exposing his neck to the cold fall weather and wrap it around the headstone as best he could.
“I don’t know if this is enough, but I hope it helps. I’ll keep him from going too far, I promise. We’ll avenge you so you can rest easy knowing your kids are safe.” Adrien promised out loud.
If Luka hadn’t known it then, he knew it now. Prince Adrien Agreste was a kind person, nothing like his father and if the monarchy was ever to continue, would be France’s greatest ruler. He took so much on his shoulders and never said a word about it. So Luka promised himself he’d do whatever it took to lighten the load. Which lead him to now. It was a small thing, but he got his sister to pretty up the bag with a new scarf in it for Adrien.
“All done.” Juleka said, pushing the bag to her brother. “You know, I saw the scarf on Mom’s headstone. Rose said the scarf is actually pretty expensive.”
“I don’t think he cares about that.”
“No, I guess not.” Luka knew his sister worried about what he was doing but with the soft look on her face, he had a feeling she knew he was safe. “I think Mom would have liked him. She would have totally adopted him.”
Luka smiled to himself at the thought of his mom attacking the King just to protect Adrien. “Yeah, she would. I better go. Be safe, ok? Let me know what Rose’s parents say about you going with her to Achu.”
“I will as long as you stay safe too.”
“I promise.”
                                                       _____________
Adrien stretched out his neck. Being ordered by his step-mother to organize the annual bazar was weird. Usually the Queen would take care of organizing it but somehow Audrey ended up convince his father that Adrien and Felix should do it as Crown Princes. Felix wanted nothing to do with it and even though Felix was on his side, Adrien wasn’t about to force his brother into it since he had to announce to everyone who Felix really was in order to forward their plans. He had no clue how his mom had done this every year. Even with a bases of what to go off, it was a lot of work. Not to mention Audrey was monopolizing all the Queen’s staff that could help him with this. He was worried what she had in store for him and if his father would care for a few moments like he usually did.
A knock on the door interrupted his break. Hoping it was Marinette with more info he needed, he called for the person to come in. He was surprised when he saw it was Luka.
“What are you doing here? I thought you had the day off?”
“I do. I had to go get something.” Adrien then noticed Luka was hiding something behind his back. He raised an eyebrow at the bodyguard, who only smiled before pulling a gift bag from behind his back and placing it on the table.
“What’s this?”
“Open it.”
Adrien was usually cautious when people gave him gifts as a fault, but he knew he could trust the people in his group. So he opened the bag and pulled out the deep blue scarf. The colour reminded him of the colour Luka used to have in his hair.
“You kept my mom warm and I know she’d ring my ear if I left you to get cold.” Luka explained.
“You didn’t have to do this.”
“I wanted to.” Luka plucked the scarf from Adrien and slowly wrapped it around his neck as to not startle him. “It looks good on you.”
Adrien pressed his face into the scarf, hiding his blush. He wondered if it said something that he didn’t flinch as much with Luka putting the scarf around his neck as he sometimes did with Nino throwing an arm around his neck. Maybe because they had the chance to interact more or maybe, when around Luka, Adrien just felt things he thought he wouldn’t feel.
Luka just had a way of getting past a person’s walls.
                                                   ___________
Luka tried not to feel rage. The royal family just didn’t give up. Audrey had practically ordered Adrien to take care of the annual bazar and then dragged Chloe and Felix – The Forgotten Royals as she played them up to be – to a photoshoot with the King that ran over into the bazar, leaving Adrien the only member of the royal family to attend the bazar. Audrey came down with a sudden illness.
The auction had been going on, still no sign of Chloe, Felix or the King when they reached the final item. An antique clock from the King’s collection. Luka watched Adrien talk about the clock, his hand on it when he yanked it away with a sudden ‘ouch’. He watched as he joked to the crowd about how metals retain heat and to not place the clock in direct sunlight. Luka remembered trying to understand how an antique clock, that had been out of the sun, could be hot. Unless there was something inside radiating heat. It what felt like snapshots, he’d warned Adrien, thrown the clock away and pulled Adrien to the floor as the bomb inside exploded. To see Adrien unconscious, blood dripping from the shallow cut on his neck, though at that moment, it looked much worse, it scared him. He barely even recognised the King as he picked Adrien up to get him to the medical wing. He wasn’t sure how long the concern the king held would last. Adrien didn’t stay in the medical wing long once he woke up. He demanded to stay in his room while he recovered and once the doctor set up his IV bag next to his bed and gave him a dose of pain killers, Luka was told to stay with the Prince and watch over him.
Luka knew as head of the guard for Adrien, he had paperwork to fill out for the incident, but he couldn’t move. He realised he was starting to feel stifled in his suit and stood up, hoping to duck out to change but stopped when something grabbed his hand.
Adrien looked up at him with lidded eyes, eyes that screamed fear laced with pain. “Don’t go, please?”
Dropping back down onto his chair, Luka held Adrien’s hand, using his other to wipe the tears that escaped the green eyes. “I’m not going anywhere.”
Those same green eyes locked on the one scratched Luka had gotten. He felt like such a failure for not keeping Adrien safe, for letting him get hurt worse than he did.
“You’re hurt.”
“It’s just a scratch. Just focus on getting better, ok?”
‘Get better so I don’t go crazy and kill either your father or Audrey. I haven’t decided yet.’
Adrien gently squeezed Luka’s hand. “Promise me you won’t leave?”
Luka pulled his hand away enough to link pinkies with the Prince. It didn’t matter that they were adults, this was how he swore things.
“I promise, I won’t leave you.” he pressed a kiss onto the interlocked pinkies and watched the tension leave Adrien.
Adrien made promises to him and his family and this was one Luka would keep forever.

Making Amends - Game Night - Prompt 11, Chapter 21
@felixmonth

"No."
"Please, Felix?"
"No! Non. Nein. Ne. Nej. Nem. Nah-ah!"
"Pretty please?"
“Which language do I have to choose for you to understand, Marinette? This is non-negotiable. You have a tight schedule! And I will not cut back on your time for sleeping and eating just so you can play some video games!”
Felix was frustrated. Why would she not understand? She had so many responsibilities and he tried to give them all equal attention. It was hard enough to plan anything as it was, considering every plan could be destroyed by Hawk Moth in the blink of an eye. He didn’t need her going around and taking on more work or making more promises to help, like she did this time.
Marinette just wanted to answer with some claim why it was so important that they played Max’s game - seriously, the boy was a genius, why would he waste his time on video games? - when the akuma alert interrupted them. He jinxed it, thinking about Hawk Moth, didn’t he?
“This is not over, yet!” she promised as he just pushed her to the next hiding place without delay, making sure they were seen together. That way and since they spent a majority of their time together anyway nobody would question where Marinette was. They would be seen together going into hiding at the start of the attack and after the attack. Everyone would think they spent the attack together and should anyone ask, he was prepared to swear they had been together all the time.
An hour and a half later they were in Marinette’s room. He was checking the reservations for the gala and made sure everything was fine. Chloe had thrown a tantrum and declared she would not partake in the “roll-your-sleeves-up stuff” the organization of the gala entailed. He wasn’t surprised. Well, Marinette, the walking miracle that she was, had convinced her to join the mask making event, but decorating a ballroom? With her own hands? Who would consider this preposterousness? She might chip one of her nails or get dust on her hair! Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!
Felix warned her that if she didn’t contribute to the gala, he would make sure she would fail this year and he would ensure that Bustier and Damocles wouldn’t be able to do a damn thing about it. It worked. Chloe offered the ballroom at her dad’s hotel and as a prize for the silent auction an all expenses paid weekend at one of the luxury suites.
He only told Marinette what Chloe offered, not how he convinced her. Marinette would only beat herself up over it. He knew she would only ever act like this if Chloe actually posed a threat for her friends. but this way, Marinette had been happy and excited. She thanked Chloe in front of the whole school and the blond had blushed furiously, almost like a traffic light. Then she had huffed and stormed away, dragging her ginger haired friend with her.
“I swear, if I could shoot her back to Italy, I would!” he heard his friend hiss. Silently lamenting Marinette’s and his acquaintanceship with the annoying pest that was their resident classroom lair he stopped what he was doing. Marinette had been angry since she had come back. not too angry, not enough to attract an akuma, she kept her emotions under impressively tight wraps. But it was still more than her normal annoyance when dealing with Rossi.
“I mean, you probably could, but you don’t like to abuse your power,” Felix reminded her. He swiveled on the chair to watch her pin parts of one of the dresses to a mannequin. “What was it again, she did this time?”
“Poor André!” Marinette complained only giving him a short glance.
“He was re-akumatized. She just couldn’t keep her trap shut and wailed how his ice cream wasn’t remotely as good as that of her aunt who had an ice cream parlor in Naples and had learned from the greatest masters. Or was it her cousin? Whatever, I don’t care which probably imaginary relative she was talking about. And even if it was true, since that’s the kind of story that’s hard to check, why would she act like this? What did André do to her? Why would she want to make him feel bad?”
Felix listened to her rant for a while. “Well, to be honest, André’s ice cream isn’t that good. It’s too sweet. The only reason people are drawn to it like they are is the superstitious belief that it tells you your true love. What a ridiculous idea.”
Marinette slowly turned around and threateningly pointed with her pin at him.
“Alright, alright, I’m sorry,” he chuckled, his hands raised in surrender. “André has the best ice cream, even better than any ice cream parlor in Naples. Happy?” Marinette snorted very un-ladylike and continued with her work.
“Oh, by the way, Max is coming over soon,” she mentioned casually.
“I thought we already talked about this? We agreed, you don’t have time for-”
“No, you agreed. I said that this isn’t over yet,” she corrected him and he could almost hear her evil grin. Oh, he would not like this! Somehow, somewhere he had made a major mistake and now she would make him pay for it. “It’s true,” she continued, “that I technically don’t have time to help my friend Max, who is also Adrien’s friend, by the way, with his game. But if there is no one else willing to replace me as a test player, I will have to help my friend.”
Yep, he really did not like where this was going.
“I won’t be much of a help, video games aren’t one of the things I have much experience with,” Felix deadpanned, hoping he might be able to convince her that this was a terrible idea. He was willing to help Max, but why couldn’t he help him by scouting a tech lab for him? Or an internship with the special effects or after-production team at Graham Films? Or something like that.
“Oh, I know. You’re rubbish,” Marinette, his friend, he had to remind himself, grinned in some kind of sadistic glee. “You have no interest in video games, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help. And since you volunteered, although in quite the roundabout way, I must say, you could tell him what he might have to change to appeal to a wider audience. People who aren’t already interested in fighting games, you know?”
He wanted to tell her that he had not, in fact, volunteered, when her argument registered. That actually made sense. Damn it!
“Fine, I will do it!” he relented with a sigh while Marinette cheered. “You are an evil genius and one day, when you will take over the world everyone will blame me, because I didn’t take the chance to stop you,” he groused in a slightly dramatic way and slumped resigned in the chair.
“Aww, I know, you will be my most loyal minion and as such I will reward you, don’t worry.” She walked over to him and ruffled his hair. When he batted her hands away and tried to rearrange his hair she just cackled, imitating an evil overlord. Or overlady.
Secretly he enjoyed their banter. It distracted Marinette from her anger and showed him his mischievous partner in crime. Some disheveled hair was definitely a price worth paying. He was also pretty sure that her other friends never got to see this side of her. The thought alone made him ecstatic. This part of her was for him and him alone. He had a relationship with her that allowed her to be like that, something nobody else had. Since they moved to Paris Felix had realised how much this meant to him, how important it was, that he had this special thing no one else could have, not Adrien, even should he ever try to look like him again and not any of her other friends.
The soft ping from Marinette’s phone indicated that she received a message that put an end to their bantering. “Max will be here in a few minutes. I guess it’s time for you to go down to the living room and set everything up.”
Before he could protest she had already pushed the chair to the hatch and opened it for him.
“But-”
“I will listen to Jagged’s new album on my headphones, so don’t worry about the noise,” she declared, demonstratively putting in said headphones. Felix sighed and climbed down the stairs. Great. He had no idea how to “set up” everything.
His gaze wandered to the kitchen. Well, he probably could prepare something to eat and to drink, right? What was the appropriate beverage and snack for video games? Tea and pastries should be fine, right? They were always the safest choice. There was no one who didn’t like tea and pastries, as far as he was aware.
He had just removed the infuser with the tea leaves - if he could avoid it, he always prefered real tea leaves over bags - as someone knocked on the door.
“Coming!” he called and set the tray with the baked goods, two tea cups and the teapot on the table in the living room area.
Max and his robot friend were on the other side of the door.
“Hi,” they greeted each other awkwardly. Felix stepped aside to allow him to enter the apartment.
“Can I take your -,” he trailed off when he realised that the boy didn’t wear a coat or jacket, not that much of a surprise since it was pretty warm outside. He only brought a bag he had already set down by the door. “Nevermind. I have prepared tea and pastries, please feel free to help yourself to some. Markov, I’m regrettably unaware of your preferences. Is there something I could offer you?”
He wasn’t sure whether he should be glad that Marinette wasn’t there. With her, he probably wouldn’t feel the need to be this formal, on the other hand if he still was, he would never hear the end of it.
“Tea and pastries? Wow, Marinette really wasn’t kidding when she said you weren’t a gamer.” Max gave him an amused smile. “Well, there was a 98.57% chance of her being correct,” he mused. Markov agreed and then turned to him. “Thank you for the offer, but I am fine.”
“I don’t think I ever played a video game for longer than an hour, so I am not sure how much help I actually can be. Although I can’t comprehend how my choice of catering clued you in to this,” Felix commented as he served the visitor and himself some tea. “Do you wish to drink your tea with sugar, milk or a slice of lemon?”
Max shook his head. “No, thank you. There is nothing wrong with tea and pastries. It’s just not what people usually consume when playing games. But don’t worry about that. I think this actually makes you a perfect test player for the tutorial. I’m so glad Marinette could convince you to help. Markov is here to record the test, so I can later analyse it and work on the problems. Is that alright for you?”
Felix had frozen and could only nod stiffly. A tutorial? This sounded as if it had always been the plan that he would cover for Marinette. Damn, she really was an evil genius!
“So, she said, she would convince me?”
“Yeah. Everyone in our class is obsessed with the UMS series and since the mechanics are similar, they can’t really help me with the tutorial. I need someone who has never or rarely played a fighting game before. Then Marinette had the idea to convince you to help, because you don’t really like video games, so you probably wouldn’t have played any UMS title too much. I’m really grateful that you agreed, especially because you don’t like games, your input will be invaluable!” Max rambled on and started properly setting up the console and his copy of the game.
“Yeah. Of course I would … agree to help with this,” Felix murmured, but bit back any other kind of sarcastic remark. It had all been rigged. He had known that she pushed him into volunteering when they were in her room, but he had no idea that had been her plan the whole time. Even her comment about appealing to a wider audience had come at exactly the right moment. He had to agree but he didn’t have the time to think about the implications.
Max started the tutorial and gave him a controller. The instructions on the screen should explain everything else. At some point Marinette’s parents came and prepared dinner. He called his mother to inform her he would stay for the night, since it was Friday and they could stay up late. The Dupain-Chengs had additional guest mattresses and he had some stuff here, so it was no issue. Since he moved to Paris, he had spent so much time at the Dupain-Cheng home, making sure Marinette kept to her schedule and didn’t forget to sleep and eat and take a break now and then, it wasn’t really a surprise for his mother that he would stay the night. He only had to promise her to be home for lunch on Sunday, so he could tell her all the juicy details - whatever details she was thinking about, she probably would be severely disappointed. Max already had come with his bag full with everything he needed. For him the game night had been planned after all.
After the dinner Marinette joined them. She was done for the day.
“So, how is my favourite minion doing?” she grinned. Max’s gaze wandered between them for a moment before he visibly decided that he didn’t want to know. Felix had to agree. It was better this way.
“Pretty good actually. He might not like games, but he’s a fast learner and I’m honestly amazed how easily he remembered all these combos.”
Felix felt how Marinette leaned against him, her head on his shoulder and looked down. She gave him a wicked grin and had this mischievous glint in her eyes he just adored. “Great!” she exclaimed. “So, which one of you can I annihilate in the game first? Any volunteers? Or would you like to try to go against me as a team?”
Did … did Max just pale a bit? He and Markov exchanged looks.
“Markov, please remind me that the end boss should be an inconspicuous sweet designer who is actually scary as hell.”
“Duly noted,” the little robot assented.

Sheltered Hearts: Chapter 1
The New Student
Previous  |  Next
Felix took a deep breath and knocked on the door to his new classroom.
To say he was excited would be the biggest lie he had ever told. He doubted that the six months since his last visit had been enough to make his cousin and his friends forget what he had done, and he was eager to get all of the glares and mocking whispers over and done with as soon as possible. With a heavy sigh, he reached for the door knob in annoyance, but was surprised when the knob began to turn. He grimaced in anticipated annoyance, already expecting to be greeted with the bored eyes of a teacher who’s lesson he had interrupted. However, when the door opened to reveal a familiar dark-haired girl with bluebell eyes, he was more than surprised to be greeted with a bright smile.
“Oh! Hey Felix! Madame Beaulieu is out on a quick bathroom break.” Marinette did her best to put her best attitude forward. She could tell that he was wary, with his tense shoulders and both of his hands clutching his bag strap, so she held back on trying to shake his hand. “She should be back soon and you’re more than welcome to take a seat at her desk until then. Or,” she began as she smiled up at him. “As the class representative, I’d be more than happy to introduce you, if you’d like?”
Felix was at a loss for words. He hadn’t expected Marinette to be the one to greet him, much less to do it as kindly as she had. Especially when she had seemed so upset with him last time. After all, wasn’t she the one he had hurt the most? Felix frowned as he pulled himself out of his thoughts and nodded in acceptance to her offer.
Marinette smiled even wider as she stepped aside to let him through the door and guided him to the front of the classroom. “Attention everyone, we have a new student!”
Marinette’s excited voice was something he wasn’t prepared for either, causing Felix to focus on her as she addressed the class. Did she actually remember him and everything he had done? Because she was way too relaxed and happy if she did. He ignored the way Chloe made a snarky comment and how Adrien’s friends groaned in annoyance and instead, focused on the way Marinette turned to him with bright eyes as she introduced him. Her voice was soft, yet it held enough strength to it to be heard above the murmurs of the class.
He was surprised to find it quite comforting.
“Hey Felix!”
With a reluctant sigh, he turned away from Marinette and faced the rest of the class to find Adrien waving to him.
“Hey,” He greeted monotonously. Unlike his cousin, the spotlight was the last thing he ever wanted.
“Oh my gosh!” Felix winced in annoyance of the high pitched voice and looked up to see the brunette it belonged to. One look at her was all it took for him to know that she was trouble. Her voice was too sweet and there was something about her eyes that he didn’t like. It was as if she had seen him as a stepping stone to her imaginary throne as she ranted about how similar he and Adrien were. He tightened his hold on the strap of his leather bag as a chill ran down his spine.
“Wait!” Felix recognized the girl with glasses from his last visit. “Are you related to the Graham Production Company?” Recognition settled into her face as she connected the dots.
“That’s my mom’s company.” Felix watched the class grow in excitement and immediately regretted his promise to his mother. Did he really have to spend one year in this place? Sure, he’d get to transfer back to his old school for his last year of school, but one year here already felt like it was an eternity away.
“Oh Felix!” The teacher walked in with a smile on her face as she thanked Marinette for taking over. “Sorry I missed your introduction. I know everyone is probably dying to get to know more about you, but unfortunately we have to get back on topic since we have an exam tomorrow.” She nodded in acknowledgement as she took in her students groans while searching the classroom for an empty seat. “I know, I know, I’d much rather get to know our new student as well but we have other things to do. Felix, you’re more than welcome to take a seat next to Marinette while we review.”
“Thank you.” Felix turned to follow Marinette and was surprised to find her subtly glaring at the brunette from before. He realized then that the brunette was hanging off of Adrien any chance she could and he was reminded of Marinette’s confession towards his cousin. The confession he had deleted. ‘Guess six months really wasn’t enough time to change some things.’ When she noticed him staring, she threw him an apologetic smile and that was when he noticed it.
Marinette had soft, gentle features, bright blue eyes, and with a smile like hers, it was easy to mistake it for genuine. But in that moment, which had only lasted a fraction of a second, he noticed that her smile didn’t reach her eyes. Instead, they hid a certain exhaustion and pain that despite him not knowing her that well, he could tell that they didn’t suit her at all.
“That’s your seat,” Marinette began as she pointed at the other seat in the middle row, effectively pulling him out of his train of thought as she stepped back to leave him enough room to squeeze by. He slid across the wooden bench and set his things down just as the teacher began to review, but he was far more intrigued by the girl beside him who began to focus on the lesson as if he weren’t there. She wasn’t being rude, in fact, he felt she was being quite polite in trying to respect his space. He was grateful for that, he didn’t need to add to the curious glances he was still getting, but he wondered just how much of her kindness was an act.
At lunch, Marinette smiled brightly up at him as she invited him to sit with her, probably out of courtesy, but Felix wasted no time in accepting the offer. When they sat down at a table by the window, he found himself realizing just how bright, energetic, and friendly Marinette could be. There was no doubt in his mind that there was something bothering Marinette, and if you removed that something, she was genuinely happy and full of life. He let her do most of the talking as he ate his food in silence, offering input here and there, but he mostly listened to her. Everything felt relatively warm and peaceful, until the brunette showed up.
Marinette fell quiet, her voice getting caught in her throat as she set down her fork, she had lost her appetite. She wanted to tell Lila to go away, but she had lost the energy to do that long ago, and instead focused on looking away, taking in the view of the window to her left. Just a few more months. That’s all she had left to endure before she could finally get some peace.
Felix immediately took notice of how quiet Marinette had gone, when moments before she had been talking about the most trivial of things with such excitement. ‘So this was the something.’ Lila introduced herself to him with an obviously fake smile that didn’t light up her eyes the way Marinette’s did, and he found himself genuinely annoyed by her company. Her voice felt flat to his ears, lacking any warmth and life, sounding more like a rehearsed script than an actual conversation. One by one, her lies began to spill from her lips and he mentally thanked Adrien and his friends for showing up and cutting their conversation short before he could say anything that would start unnecessary drama. He finally understood Marinettes attitude towards Lila, and when he turned to look back at his desk partner, he was surprised to find her looking at Adrien as if he had said something that upset her before excusing herself from the table with her belongings.
Felix noticed the way Marinette’s eyes had lost their vibrancy, becoming cold, hurt, and uninterested. With a wipe of his napkin, Felix wordlessly stood up and grabbed his things as he made his way to her side, leaving everyone shocked and a certain brunette seething.
When he caught up to her, he found Marinette muttering to herself as she looked through her purse and cleared his throat to alert her of his presence. She seemed scared for a moment, quickly closing her bag and turning to face him in embarrassment.
“Oh hey! Sorry about leaving like that, I suddenly remembered I had some work to catch up on.” Marinette was flustered and didn’t know what to do. She had just barely managed to hide Tikki and had sputtered the first excuse she could think off. With a deep breath, she calmed herself down enough to form a coherent thought. “Actually, I’m not very good with being surrounded by a lot of people right now, and since there is still an hour left to lunch, I was going to go work at a nearby café.” Marinette tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she adjusted her textbook. She didn’t actually know what to do with her spare time but she was too riled up to be surrounded by the others right now.
“Then we better hurry so we have enough time to enjoy our coffee.” Felix was surprised by his own words but he simply adjusted his leather book bag as he draped his coat carefully over his arm. “So, where to?”
Marinette was dumbfounded by his quick invitation to join her so she laughed as she smiled in silent gratitude, she never did like being alone. “Right this way,” she turned on her heels as they made their way to the café just across the street.

Moonlight trap
Felinette, Felix/Marinette
Ao3
Part 1. An ancient legend says
Marinette was walking along the beach.
The night was young, but the stars have already filled the night sky. It was getting dark very quickly here.
Marinette just needed to think about how to behave herself in a current situation.
When they decided to come to rest at Adrien’s family summer house for a few days, the company was suppose to consist only of four of them: Alya, Nino, Adrien and her — Marinette.
She dreamed for hours and even days spent with Adrien the whole week before the trip. What a sea of opportunities it could provide to her!
And why would Gabriel insist that they take Chloe with them?!
Now the first day was already over, and Marinette didn’t even have a minute of alone time with her just-a-friend-whom-she-wanted-to-be-more!
Alya was chaterring with Nino all the time today. She was very excited to be here, and it seemed she totally forgot she was suppose to help Marinette to win Adrien. And Marinette didn’t want to annoy the happy couple.
And Chloe... though she wasn’t as rude to Marinette as she used to be, but she was constantly hanging around Adrien, so that Marinette didn’t have an opportunity to implement her plans the whole day.
Or maybe she had...
Marinette saw a figure sitting on the edge of the pier with their legs dangling down, looking at the water. The Moon was bright and she could easily recognize Adrien’s blond hair tousled from swimming.
She thought that everyone have already went to sleep when she was leaving the house. But it looked like he left before her. And this was perfect — her opportunity to spend some time with him — just the two of them!
Marinette sighed resolutely and headed for the pier. Alya would be proud of her.
“May I join you?” Marinette asked softly, standing next to him.
Adrien turned sharply to her with a look of surprise on his face. He clearly didn’t hear her steps because of the noise from the waves.
“Uhhh...” Adrien was narrowing his eyes at her.
Marinette couldn’t see his face well enough to understand, why was he thinking for so long. Maybe he wanted to be along and she was disturbing him?
“Sure.” He said finally, and returned his gaze to the sea.
Marinette sat next to him. She hoped she wasn’t to invasive or anything like that.
“Tonight is really warm.” She said. They were both turned towards the water, and it was easier for Marinette to speak. “Even with the sound of the waves, the wind and the spray of the surf, this place seems so peaceful.” She sighed.
“It’s like a conversation with a see, that you really don’t mind to have.” He agreed thoughtfully. “The sea always speaks without interrupting or interfering with your thoughts. Kind of an ideal partner for a dialogue.”
Marinette turned too look at him. She never heard such deep philosophical reasoning from Adrien before. It felt different tonight. Like he was opening to her without really opening.
And it felt good. As if she could be open as well without turning herself inside out because of her feelings for him.
For a while they were just sitting in silence and looking at the sea.
“Whenever I come here, I feel like myself.” Adrien said thoughtfully, without turning to her. “No pressure, no boundaries, no city noise.”
“Yeah.” Marinette sighed again. She knew how much pressure Adrien’s father was putting on him. “It’s good to relax for once and just to... exist.” She said, feeling grateful to the night for being able to share this peaceful moment with him.
“When I was a kid, we used to come here with my mother, my aunt and my cousin.” Adrien said after a bit of silence. “We used to spend a lot of time here, on this beach.”
Marinette was listening attentively, afraid to ruin the moment. She knew that his mother had disappeared several years ago. Adrien rarely mentioned her, and usually with sadness. Tonight he seemed more in thought then sad though.
“My mother told us a lot of stories. One of them was repeated especially often.
“You miss her, don’t you?” Marinette asked.
“Uhhh...” Adrien turned his head to look at her. He knitted his brows as if was looking for something on her face, as if trying to read her expression.
Marinette understood her mistake immediately. It must be a painful topic for him, and she was destroying this special atmosphere they had. He is probably thinking, why would she ask him such an obvious question...
“So what was that story about?” She asked, trying to change the subject and hopefully restore that warm freeing mood they had just now.
Adrien looked at her for another moment, then turned back to the sea.
“It was a legend.” He said. “About one soul divided in two.”
“Can you tell me the story?” She asked, not sure if she was going overboard again.
He turned to look at Marinette again and opened his mouth as if about to say something. But when their eyes met, he seemed to change his mind.
“Sure.” He said at the end, and closed his eyes, slowly turning to face the sea again. He sighed and began to speak.
“An ancient legend says that long ago
A loving couple used to share one soul.
God watched them over but got either bored,
Or drunk, or moody. So he took his sword
And played an evil trick just for a laugh:
Each soul was mercilessly sliced in half.”
His words sounded slow and profound, making the old story seem like it was coming from the deep past.
“He tossed out bleeding halves around the globe...
Then, satisfied, put on his sleeping robe,
And went to bed under the Heaven’s dome
Just leaving poor men’s souls to bleed and roam.”
Marinette was listening with her lips parted. Adrien opened his eyes and continued, looking far away.
“Since then, the orphaned halves have roamed the land
So desperate to hold their true love’s hand.
Yet, husbands search for wives to no avail
Pursuing what turns out a false trail.
So do the wives. Despite the endless tries
The longing halves remain unrecognized.
How can that only matching one be found?
Where should one look? They’re scattered all around!..”
He paused, as if to wait for an answer to those questions. But only the waves were whispering around them.
“So that’s the fun the mocking God has had.”
Adrien went on with a sigh, as if he felt the same pain, that was being described in the story.
“The yearning halves keep choosing wrong and bad.
Their tenderness is doomed right from the start;
As soon as they connect, they fall apart.
Can’t stay united and end up detached,
For they are strangers, utterly mismatched.”
This time he fell silent for a long time. And just when Marinette thought the sad story was over, he looked up at the stars and resumed speaking.
“However, when a soul that once was one
Succeeds in overcoming what‘s been done,
Its pieces following the proper way
To find each other, merge... So will they stay.
Together. Happy. Flawlessly united.
Free of God’s power. Perfectly delighted.”
Marinette was looking at him with her mouth open, feeling goosebumps running down her spine. It probably wasn’t even about the story, but the way he told it. So sensual and heartfelt his voice sounded. Marinette never heard him speak like that.
Turned out this trip really was an opportunity to know Adrien from a new side.
This Adrien seemed so much deeper, as if he had been replaced. And although Marinette was already crushing on the sweet and nice, light and always smiling Adrien, she fell in love with him again tonight, with this deep and mysterious, profound and brooding Adrien.
“Wow.” She finally said. “This is... amazing.”
“Well,” he smirked. “If you believe in this kind of stuff, I guess it is.”
“Don’t you?” Marinette raised her eyebrows in surprise.
“I guess I believed it once.” Adrien sighed, and looked away. “But not anymore.”
“This is sad.” Marinette commented. “But it’s still fixable.” She smiled slyly, then an evil grin spread on her face. “To make you believe again, I just need to shake you up a little.” Marinette said, and before Adrien could understand her plan, she pushed him to the water.
She didn’t even know, where she found the courage to do that, but she didn’t have much time to be proud of herself...
Adrien’s eyes went wide, but before falling from the pier, he grabbed her hand, so they end up in the water together.
The shore was close and it was shallow in that place, so Marinette didn’t worry about their safety. She knew that Adrien was an excellent swimmer and she moved well in the water herself.
“Hey!” She protested playfully, splashing water at him. “It was you who needed shaking, not me!”
“What gentleman would I be, if I left you along on the pier at such a beautiful night!” He laughed splashing water at her.
“Oh, I see then. So it was a gentlemanly behavior?!” Marinette was giggling in the water.
“At its best, indeed.” He was smiling back.
They were joking and laughing, slowly moving towards the beach.

Chloe Bourgeois: A Defense
You know who the worst villain in the show is? That’s perhaps debatable - It might be Gabriel, the neglectful/abusive father, or it might be Lie-la, the unprintable word of a character, or perhaps even an argument might be made for Felix, little as we’ve seen of him.
Do you know who is NOT the worst in the show? Chloe.
To me, Chloe started out as a spoiled daddy’s girl, the foil to Marinette’s bad luck and hard-working personality - almost more of a foil than Adrien at times. And I didn’t love her, but I didn’t hate her. Sure, she was annoying, but then we got to know the reasons. And yes, I can already hear the haters, but I found her reasons and backstory compelling.
First of all, she comes from a broken family. Her mother doesn’t even know her name, is barely ever there, and doesn’t pay attention to her when she is. Her father’s a high-ranking politician, but that doesn’t diminish the fact that he is going through the trauma of losing a loved one, not to death, but just because he was essentially told “You’re not good enough”. So of course, in order to to prevent it from happening again, he gives Chloe everything she wants in order to keep her happy - and keep her there.
Secondly, we’re never told how long Monsieur Bourgeois has been Mayor, but it’s quite clear that between her high-society parents - distant though they might be - Chloe has developed a personality she shows to others, e.g. The Paparazzi. Unfortunately, a natural tendency toward authority has been corrupted, and she’s been doing it for so long that she’s no longer able to distinguish her “public” persona and the one she might have had underneath. Not only that, but she’s built up this persona into what she feels she must be, or else everyone will see how much she’s been faking and for how long. (This is a real thing that a lot of teenagers do, especially in middle and high schools where insecurity and peer pressure is very present.)
Here’s how I see it: Chloe is a fourteen year old girl who is neglected by one parent and given everything she wants out of fear by the other one. She dreams to live up to both her mother and father, but she doesn’t know how yet, so she just copies one - her mother - as best she can. And because she’s around other young people and those “beneath her”, she gets what she wants almost every time. No one likes it, but no one really knows how to stop her, either. Until Ladybug comes along and clearly doesn’t like her. Chloe just doesn’t know how to take that in, especially since she’s clearly denying her own part in the onslaught of akumas (seriously, she makes Hawkmoth’s job 600 times easier, especially in the beginning). So of course, she insists that she’s right and she refuses to believe that anyone, especially her idol, could not like her.
And now we get to the superpowers. We know from the Queen Wasp episode that a lot of her insecurities come from her mother, and that she became Queen Bee first to impress her. However, as she gets the Bee Miraculous more (and recall, Ladybug doesn’t give it to her lightly) she learns to take responsibility for her own actions as any young person would - by admitting it and waiting for those in authority to help her fix it. It takes something egregious, such as Madame Bustier or her father getting akumatized, to get her out of her own bubble, but once she realizes that there’s more to life than just throwing a temper tantrum and getting what you want, she’s able to put her own wishes aside and do what needs to be done.
Chloe’s a spoiled girl, but she’s learning to take responsibility, something she never had to do when younger since she could just call Daddy and get it all her way. But she knows how to be kind when she wants to, and she clearly doesn’t enjoy causing pain to the people she cares about, such as in the “Felix” episode when she sends a message to Adrien assuring him that she’s still there for him.
So yes. She’s annoying and wants her own way, but I can forgive a lot of character flaws, because She Is Fourteen.
Let me repeat that. She Is A Fourteen Year Old Girl. A Child.
And this is why I’m so angry at Gabriel in the S3 finale. Because he uses the legitimate anger and sadness of a CHILD and manipulates her into doing what he wants her to do, then leaves her with the mess to clean up and everyone hating her. I am so, so hopeful that this will be a character arc akin to Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender, where there must be a backtrack before there can be a redemption, because of all the characters who were classified as “villains” in the show, I think Chloe deserves it.

Be Careful What You Wish For
Author’s Note: This was based on a Tumblr story I found out about Adrien betraying Marinette in using the wish, Marinette lost her mum but get together with Damian after being with Adrien in the new timeline. I decided to go to a plot bunny I had where the wish the Agrestes make was not worth it.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng couldn't believe what just happened; her partner Chat Noir had messaged her saying that he had found a clue as to who Hawk Moth was and was surprised to find it was the Agreste Manor. She wondered if this meant that Gabriel Agreste could have been Hawk Moth and found a way around the limitations to become the Collector.
Tikki had told her that she had a bad feeling about this but Marinette felt that she trusted Chat to know what he was doing.
She met up with Chat Noir and they went inside to be faced with Hawk Moth; however Chat took her by surprise and had taken Earrings. She was stunned as Adrien took off the Ring to reveal that he was Adrien. Her partner who was annoying with his flirting was really her crush?
And he had to be under an Akuma's influence; no way that he could really betray her.
Right?
Marinette was stunned as Adrien was taken aback to see Ladybug was Marinette but then gave them both to Hawk Moth ignoring the pleas of Marinette, Plagg and Tikki. The Kwami's please became more angry as Adrien addressed Hawk Moth as his dad.
Hawk Moth taken them and used the incantation and wished that his wife never suffered whatever it was that happened to her. Marinette saw a huge glow and suddenly saw the area was a huge fashion studio and she was now in fancy clothes.
There were the Ring and Earrings on the ground and she had taken them, the Kwamis were more than happy enough to explain. "The Miraculous in order to use the wish needs a huge sacrifice, it might not be just a life but life changed and the end results might not be favourable to the wishes of the wisher. If the wish is not specific enough, we both are able to bend the reality change even if we don't have control over the details. We don't know what happened but just wished that life was better for you and life worse for your enemies. You deserve it Marinette." Tikki told her and Marinette was stunned.
She was asking then how about Adrien and Plagg was furious saying "who cares, he made his choice and he wasn't that good a partner to you anyway. I admit that I didn't rein him in when he was being selfish and throwing hissy fits about you not wanting to go out with him. I tried to talk him out of allying with his dad when he revealed to him but he made his choice."
Marinette was stunned and went upstairs and found that the manor was actually now her family's?
It seemed now the Dupain-Chengs now owned a successful catering company that Tom had started with his father Roland. She found to her surprise she was a popular girl at her school and was apprenticing with a fashion company. She was seen as an up and coming fashion star and loved for how much of a sweetheart she was.
Her friends in class were still her friends (plus Sabrina who didn't have Chloe in her class) and she found to her surprise that she had Luka as boyfriend. She was terrified that Luka had his mind and feelings altered thanks to the magic but Tikki laughed it off saying the magic can't force someone to like anyone (if it was wished it would be more like mind control and Luka wouldn't be acting like himself), all it did was remove any obstacles to get in between them as Luka liked her anyway.
She noticed that she did not have Adrien, Lila and Chloe in her class and looked them up. Lila it seemed was doing what she did in one of her schools and was caught with her truancy and trying to use lies to bully people who called them out but no one really willing to believe her.
To her shock she found that Chloe was in an American juvenile centre, apparently in this new reality Chloe's father failed to win the election that made him Mayor thanks to a scandal when it was revealed his was embezzling money from his hotel for his campaign funds and his slanderous accusations against the running Mayor. Audrey Bourgeois took Chloe and left with the schools and authorities in the US not tolerating her attitude.
But to her shock she saw that Adrien was somewhere in hiding with his mother Emilie out of France. Apparently here Gabriel was caught as the head of a huge criminal cabal and when he was arrested the charges were numerous and he was now serving several life sentences.
She was stunned and couldn't help but feel sorry for all of them but Tikki had told her that it just meant she was a better person than them. She considered using a Wish to put everything back to how it was but they warned her that they might not be able to control any prices made and she decided to just accept the new reality as it just is.
She found her family being as nice and loving as she knew them even if they were a little busier than they had been. But she found the man who had been Adrien's bodyguard and chauffeur was now working for her family and he joined in on video game nights with Marinette and Tom.
While Paris had news bulletins of a new Superhero called Lady Catbug. The Kwamis smirked to themselves not having told Marinette that they made it so her former tormentors would be punished with the memories of the previous timeline...
Adrien Agreste hated the look of betray of his Lady when he had to betray her but it was for his mother and his family. He was stunned to see his good friend Marinette had been his Lady all along but had to keep going forward. His father had finally revealed himself to be Hawk Moth. He was stunned and confused and wanted to use attack as Chat Noir. But he explained to him that all this was to bring her mother back who was in a dangerous state.
He dealt with time to himself to think this through and despite Plagg's warnings not to trust him he felt that he had to. His father had said they were going to make sure she was never gone and thus the Akumas never happened. He would be allowed to start school at Francoise Dupont and start his friendships all over again.
Plus not that he knew that Marinette was Ladybug, he could come to her and they would be able to start their love together. It would be perfect, plus since his father would have no more use for the Miraculous... He would give Marinette the Earrings and they would be Ladybug and Chat Noir, superhero couple of Paris.
It would be all worth the betrayal he would have to do...
His father made the wish and suddenly he saw he was in the home of his mother's family the Graham De Vanilys. He saw his mother Emilie but she looked like a wreck and he found he had no other friends than Felix.
He learned to his horror that his father was in prison as a criminal mastermind and in shame his mother took them to London and ditched the Agreste surname. This wasn't supposed to happen, his family was supposed to be full again...
Gabriel Agreste was stunned when he finally found out that his son Adrien was indeed Chat Noir and decided to use it to his advantage. He had sat down with him and explained to him that he was Hawk Moth. His reaction was to be expected but he managed to explain in full and convinced him to set a trap to get the Ladybug Earrings.
To think one of his hated nemeses was his own son all along. However it worked out and he didn't bother hiding his glee when Adrien done his part and gave them both to him. He savoured the moment as he made the wish and was anticipating being able to hold his dear Emilie again.
He fell down with a thud as he found himself on stone floor and in a small prison cell in dirty prison robes, he was confused to his surroundings and looked in the mirror and saw that he was a mess. He had began ranting wondering what was going on only for the guards to bang the cell bars and yell at him to shut up.
As he felt the hatred coming from all guards and prisoners in the next week, he could only wonder how on earth did this go wrong.
