genuinely though, what was the impetus behind that initial letter to detective tav? did the dark urge expect them to figure out the murders faster? was durge that upset that they were doing a crummy job?

Dark Urge: Sceleritaaaas, why hasn't the detective figured out it was me yet??

Sceleritas Fel: Forgive me, master, but... Was the purpose of these slayings not to whip the city into a frenzy of terror? Why would you wish to be caught?

Dark Urge: I don't, I just... I thought they cared, you know? I'm putting in all of this effort, and this detective isn't even meeting me halfway. :(

Sceleritas Fel: Ah, worry not, master! I'm certain your deductive playmate just needs the proper motivation. I shall pen a letter to get the skull rolling, as it were.
