He said, abit awkwardly. Feixiao smiled and jumped onto him, hugging him tightly, much to his surprise. Jiaoqiu also joined in while Moze simply patted m/n’s head.

"She's working, Dove." Jiaoqiu said while finishing cooking today's lunch.

Suddenly, little [Name] was getting fussy for a reason unknown to Jiaoqiu. So he asked :

"Whats happening, birdie ?" The foxian said while slowly putting a hand on [Name]'s head, patting them.

"Dada not here, Papa out... Why Always me 'n you, Ma ?" The little one asked with a sad look on their face.

Little drops of salty water started to form in their eyes, and Jiaoqiu decided to take [Name] in his arms, before explaining.

"My baby, Papa went to buy some food, im sure he will be back soon. As for Dada, she's working. But youre a smart one, you know that already, right ?"

Jiaoqiu's heart suddenly breaks as he hears little sniffles and feels droplets of water on his shirt.

"Why are you crying, sweet one ? We're all here for you. Althought Ma is gonna make sure they learn their lesson. We cant keep our little one sad, hm ?"

Jiaoqiu suddenly feels [Name]'s arms around his neck, hugging him back.

"Youre safe with us, little one. We love you."

Recently, during my usual sessions when I just think my otaku things, I was thinking about HYV found families and how they are just so good????? Like fr????

It's not something I've really thought about consciously a lot, but after a conversation with a lovely person on this site, the only and only @chadchadsonthesnail, I just realized how cool they are.

So for today's post, I just wanted to go through HYV found families and my little thoughts about them :3

Cynonari found family is one of the sweetest things. A head canon from a fic I read (interlude: tightrope ballet by lillithwrites on AO3, part of a awesome series by the author but it does have a miscarriage TW so read at your own discretion) of that Collei was super wary of Cyno at first, but as Tighnari and Cyno's relationship developed, she grew to love him as a father, grew to feel comfortable with her

I've talked about Yaoqing trio found family but like we can't stop talking about it? Such a good found family that's been through so so much yet traumabonded. The way that they're so interdependent but in a good way, not in a toxic way

House. Of. Hearth. Do I have to talk about them? The silly beans? Ofc I do :3. Lyney and Lynette being so protective of Freminet, Lynette and Freminet taking care of Lyney when he overexerts himself doing shows, and Lyney and Freminet cheering up Lynette when she's sad

Baizhu and Qiqi are another good example of found family. I honestly don't get why people think Baizhu is abusing/neglecting her, he's trying his best while suffering himself, and Qiqi is as happy as she can be
