i personally dont believe they tried to object to anything theyve recently done, cc or this. i wish people would stop acting as if theyre literal slaves. theyre in a good position in the company and the industry at large.

I definitely don't think they were against any of the collabs they did, but unfortunatly there's still a lot of people who live in their own bubble and don't check the world news, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know what companies are being boycotted.

Most kpop idols stay silent about pretty much all social and political topics, most can't even say outright what their own beliefs are. However there are idols who do speak up - Fatou from balckswan, BM from kard, Suho from EXO to name a few that I can think of. Can it potentially cause consequences for them? Yes. And they still did it. Until a few days ago people weren't event asking kpop idols to speak up, mostly fans were asking companies to divest from working with zionists.

It's pretty obvious 3racha like puths music and were happy to collaborate with him and judging by how many stays didn't know anything about what puth had said in the past, I don't think 3racha knew either. BUT there's is no way they don't know now. When skz were on stationhead today a lot of stays commented about Palestine and the boycott, even tho comments were going really fast, it was very noticeable. Will they stop all the promotions? No. Will jype release a statement? No. They're just going to keep on promoting this collab, remixes will be realesed soon, they're sending this song on radio and performing it on 15th, and that's only what we know of. I kinda feel like even after the promo period they will still perform this song, maybe at the festivals, maybe even on upcoming tour. Also they're spending a lot of time in ny right now so I'm afraid this is not the only weird move that we will see from them, cuz if this song is sort of a pre realese for the album then idk what kind of an album is waiting for us. I hope I'm wrong about that, but i guess we just have to wait and see

HI RIN 💖 here with some treasure starter pack videos JSDFJHB so this one is long but it will help you learn names and is a really good introduction to the guys for sure, and it's from jikjin era so mashiho and yedam are still there (they left the group a few months after that promo cycle). during that time they also did a human idol theater ep and a series with blip which are also great ! they have a lot more typical variety content earlier on / closer to their debut, but i think if you'd prefer to go with something more recent with the current member lineup, i recommend their silenceofidol episode (amazing showcase of their team energy, it's a delight) .

if you enjoy groups' own variety content, i always recommend watching treasure map ! i'm biased but it is my favorite of all types of shows like this haha and that's partially how i ended up ulting treasure. it starts predebut and goes for like a year and a half; they rebooted a different version of it for when they were on tour this year but it's not the same lol we're all hoping that they bring back the original format with a new season since they seem to be pushing more traditional promotion with the upcoming comeback.

I watched the Mark Oshiro interview and noted down the rrverse-relevant passages for y'all

(I would rec watching the vid in its entirety if you have time to kill; Mark is super charming and thoughtful, just like I remembered them from their "Mark Watches" days, and says a lot of interesting stuff abt writing and the publishing industry in general)

– Rick had the full outline ready: major arcs & themes figured out already

– there’s stuff in the outline Rick had been planning for years, he had it sitting for a while

– Rick sought Mark out specifically, then Mark was asked to “audition” by writing the first 3 chapters that would be later seen by various ppl including some of the Disney publishing ppl. Mark decided to tweak/change some stuff. Kept 90% of the outline changed a 10%. They felt they needed to figure out/visualize things that weren’t in Rick’s outline, that were left unspecified there (the way Mark talks abt it, it feels like it’s mainly worldbuilding/lore stuff they are talking abt). Mark says Becky Riordan was very helpful with this, she knows the canon deets better than Rick.

– Rick wanted Mark to write first draft bc even tho the story is Rick’s, he wanted it to be told through an authentically queer perspective, with the nuance and sensibility that he as a straight man doesn’t feel capable of understanding/conveying.

– There’s things in the final draft that Oshiro decided to leave to Rick bc they felt Rick knew the characters better

– Oshiro talks abt the reactions of the ppl who have read the quasi final drafts and how one of the Disney editors said the book was for rrverse fans “like Spiderman No Way Home was for spiderman fans”, meaning this is a book that respects the identity these characters have built through the prev books and the history they have while still managing to take them somewhere new, which is exactly what Mark was trying to accomplish, and which they say “Rick is deeply thoughtful about. He cares a lot.” – Mark wanted to give these characters their due and also (said in a lighthearted but also clearly committed & passionate manner) make the gayest Percy Jackson book ever published

– talks a bit about an upcoming horror YA book of theirs and calls it “the fist dual pov book I’ve written”. The book comes out march 2023, it seems likely Mark’s started working on this before the solangelo book so… probably means nothing re: whose pov solangelo is told from?

– Mark thinks Rick has the ability to inject levity in extremely dark moments without lowering the intensity/stakes, which is essential when writing for middle graders while still wanting to take the story to emotionally challenging places, but very few authors can do it as well and as effectively (I AGREE)

– there’s a scene in the solangelo book where Mark kinda wrote themselves into a corner bc it was too scary and they realized it might not fly for the intended readership “and then I thought of the silliest way to deflate the terror” and they are very proud of that bc they feel they captured the quintessential Riordan tone. Bc the PJO books are great and complex and telling important stories etc but quote: “they’re fucking weird as hell” too.

– Mark actually only started reading the saga in 2018. Read them all in a week and was like the Lady Gaga meme. At the time they feel like they were only missing TON (if this was 2018 they were missing TTT too so either they are misremembering the year they read them in, or that they were missing TTT too). They reread them all when TON came out, and twice again last year.

– “the best time to start reading Percy Jackson is always.”

– They know it’s cheesy but their fave char from the moment he was introduced was Nico, and there’s a big reason for it that Mark can’t talk about bc it’s stuff that is in the solangelo book. It’s plot spoilers. Mark will be free to say it when the press tour for the book starts. (This seems contradictory tbh but it is how Mark explains it)

– They like Annabeth and Grover a lot

– “My favorite surprise character that at the beginning I was like ‘ehhhhh’ and at the end I was like ‘I would die for him’ was Apollo.”

– after reading series 1 Mark was like how are there 10 more of these where can this story possibly go, and then Rick did “a thing” (no spoilers) in series 2 that made the narrative world bigger, and then he did “another thing” in series 3 that concerns the character of Apollo, “and Apollo grew on me so much”, he goes “from the most annoying character on the face of the planet who judges everyone around to ‘all of these demigods are my children and I will murder for them’, it’s just incredible to watch that whole thing happen. Which means I also love Meg, and I love Meg’s growth too”

– there’s another character too that Mark loves and feels deserved the spotlight so they put them in the new book. “We don’t talk abt them enough” (Mark’s kinda joking as they say this, tho the love feels sincere)

– Mark’s godly parent would be Hades whom they liked in the PJ books but also always liked in general and share an aesthetic with

Requested by anon: Hey could I request a Wanda maximoff dating a famous actress x fem reader who's her girlfriend for three years and Wanda watches her movies and shows and absolutely loves it even tho at first she didn't get her love for acting but now she does as she sees how happy you are with it? And maybe y/n is in an interview and the entire avengers are watching and they ask abt Wanda and what's it like being her girlfriend and if she misses her when she's on missions and y/n is flustered a lot,just fluff!

“Tony did what?” you’re gasping for breath, trying to contain your laughter as Wanda tells you about her day.

“He lit his sleeve on fire. He didn’t even notice until one of his robots was spraying him with a fire extinguisher.” You’re wiping tears from your eyes as someone knocks on the door, entering before you can respond.

“Miss y/l/n, we’re ready for you in makeup,” a young guy with a clipboard tells you and you nod.

“I’ll be there in a minute,” you wait for him to leave before picking up your phone from the couch next to you and taking it off speaker. “Alright my love, I gotta go.”

“Noooooo, I don’t want you to go yet,” Wanda whines and you can’t help but share her feelings.

“I know. I miss you too, but I just have a few more interviews to finish up and then I’m flying home tomorrow night,” you promise and she sighs.

“Fine. I really can’t wait until you come home. The team is having a viewing party for your interview tonight,” you laugh at the thought of the avengers taking time out of their day to watch you talk about a movie they’ve all heard you talking about since you auditioned.

“Way to make me nervous,” she laughs and you can almost hear her eye roll through the phone. “Okay, I really have to go now. I love you so much, I’ll call you in the morning.”

“I love you too. Break a leg tonight.”

“For my next guest I have two time Oscar nominee and leading lady of the upcoming movie, Phantom Zone. Please welcome, y/n y/l/n!” you hear the crowd applauding and you take a deep breath before walking out onto the stage. The lights are bright and the only thing going through your head as you wave to the audience is “Please don’t trip. Please don’t trip. Please don’t trip.” You really don’t need to take Wanda’s wish of good luck literally and end up on crutches. Luckily you make it across the floor in one piece and greet the host before sitting down.

“So y/n, you’ve come a long way for such a young actress. Why don’t you tell us a bit about your new movie,” the host starts and you go back and forth with the normal questions. With this being the second to last day of your press tour you’ve lost count of how many interviews you’ve had. You could answer these questions in your sleep, so you go through the motions until the host throws you for a loop with a more personal question.

“So y/n, you’ve been seen spending quite a bit of time in New York with a certain witch. Care to comment on that?” the host asks and you chuckle. You can feel your cheeks heating up and the knowledge that your face is bright red on live television only makes you blush more.

“What do you want to know?” you shoot back and he laughs, glad that you didn’t refuse to answer.

“Why don’t we start with how you two met,” he suggests and you nod. You’ve never commented much on your relationship but after three years you and Wanda decided you’re alright with the world knowing a bit more about you.

“It was a bit over three years ago now, I was staying in New York between filming seasons of Walking Dead. I was in central park enjoying the weather and Wanda just walked right up to me, I freaked out a bit. I was meeting my favorite superhero, it was quite a shock. She had no idea who I was at that time which was a nice change of pace. She was beyond lost so I helped her find her way out of the park and the rest is history.”

“She didn’t know who you were? You’re kidding, right?” he asks and you laugh with him before responding.

“Trust me, I was a little shocked too. I try to stay humble, but I was also a cocky nineteen year old. It was a week before the Oscars and I was nominated for best supporting actress. I thought everyone knew who I was. Don’t tell her I told you this, but her having never heard of any of my movies was probably a really good ego check for me,” you lean in as if it's a secret and he pretends to zip his lips.

“Your secret is safe with me. Though if she’s watching this, I am not responsible.”

“Oh she definitely is. I talked to her earlier, they’re having a viewing party at the Avenger’s compound,” you say and his eyes widen.

“The avengers are watching my show,” you can’t tell if his shock is real or not, so you try to hold back your laughter as you nod. “Does that not intimidate you even a little?”

“I mean no, not really. Trust me, when Wanda introduced me to the team I thought I was gonna pass out, but after you’ve seen them scream at each other over a 2am monopoly game in their pajamas the intimidation wears off,” you say with a smile.

“That would definitely make them seem less scary. Has Wanda seen your movies now?” he asks and you groan.

“Yes. She made me watch them all with her. Don’t get me wrong, I love the stuff I was in. If I wasn’t in them I’d probably binge them on repeat, but something about sitting in a living room watching yourself on a screen is just awkward. I love premiers even watching it in theaters can be fun, but I don’t enjoy watching them alone. That one scene in walking dead made her cry though. I was pretty proud of that acting, plus the zombie makeup was fun,” you’re referring to when your character was killed off a few seasons back. The fact that you were able to make her cry over “your” death while sitting right next to her was pretty cool. “She goes to all the premieres and viewing parties with me now, so she sees it all.”

“I can see how that could be uncomfortable, but I’m glad you made it through. Now you better not break her heart, that team of her’s will come after you,” he says and you roll your eyes.

“Oh please, I would never. I’m gonna marry that girl one day,” you say and the audience  let’s out a collective “awwwwww.”

“On that note we are unfortunately out of time. Thank you so much for being here tonight, Phantom Zone is in theaters October 18th!” The host calls. You wave at the camera until a crew member yells clear, then you say goodbye to the host and make your way back to your dressing room. Little do you know as that’s happening Wanda is sitting on the couch back in New York, cheeks bright red and a smile on her face. At your final words she makes a decision. It’s time for the ring in her nightstand to leave the drawer and go onto your finger.

Also I thought of this. That how you made rose to be the perfect woman but still getting rejected. I mean like I know she was an ass to the OC but like the society made her like the perfect woman knowing every colour of the beige thread from the famous fashion company…. The way u brought out her character was so beautiful that I don’t know why but I am feeling a bit sad for her. And let me tell you it doesn’t happen often that I feel sad abt someone else other than the main characters.. Thinking about her future like being sneered by the other Victorian people for getting rejected and stuff like that makes me feel sorry for her.. Also the end scene the way you wrote it I can actually literally picture it.. every single move. Every single word is like engraved on my head. I felt so sad when the story ended that I had to check the rest of your works. 

And hence  After reading MOTh I started and completed Bloom and it was sooo awesome. Like how does your mind work. The story was awesome. The small pieces where Joon compares the OC to the succulent, tells abt the stars was soooo beautiful and soo like joon. I loved it soooooooo muchh.. please do continue that story. I was literally hooked on these stories instead of studying for my exam… I honestly never thought that joon will be an agent of nia and not the foxes. It was so shocking. The way u can write the stories especially the character development is just amaaazziinng…

180316 ‘harry styles live on tour’ in antwerp - ok SO i went to one direction’s concert in 2013 and this was the first time after i ever saw one of them back on stage and it gave me honest to god chills, the entire concert gave me such good vibes and i experienced it with some really good friends and we both cried when harry sang medicine, all in all 10/10 experience and i would definitely go to another concert of his

180430 niall horan ‘flicker’ world tour in brussels - CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE NIALL okay this entire evening was amazing, i study in brussels so it was easy for me to get to the venue and the vibe throughout the entire concert was hands down perfect, everybody was dancing to the upbeat songs and everybody cried during the slower songs, it was a one of a kind evening and i loved every single moment :(

180701 ed sheeran and anne marie at rock werchter in werchter - ok so there were a shit ton of people there to watch ed sheeran bc it was on a festival site and on a sunday so a lot of people could come, not to mention it was well above 30 degrees celsius that day and i sweated my ass off, BUT hearing him sing live was a gift in and of itself, his voice is truly something else and i knew the words to each and every song of his and i cried so hard when he started singing i see fire because i’m a huge tolkien fan and my friends thought i was v weird. and anne marie’s vocals were on point, girlie can sing like damn. also, getting home from werchter was total shit but the concert was 100% worth it.

181013 bts ‘love yourself’ world tour in amsterdam - here we are again at the ziggo dome, five years later. hands down my favorite. concert. ever. i remember waking up at ass o’clock in the morning because of nerves (trying not to wake the other ppl in the room bc my friend & i slept in a shitty hostel) so i spent the entire morning on twitter with major butterflies in my stomach because holy fucking shit after almost five years of stanning i was FINALLY GOING TO SEE BTS LIVE, so my friend woke up at 8:30 and then we got dressed and walked around the city center of amsterdam before getting breakfast at 10:30 and then we took the tram towards the ziggo dome and we were there by 12pm, which okay we had seated tickets so totally not necessary but anyways, we cringed a lot at v cringy armys, we saw a lot of armys with these cardboards that read “looking for tickets” and it nearly made me cry, walked around the interior design mall next door bc we had to kill time, went to the media markt and played a game and won a poster and a keychain, ate lunch in a place called booven, walked around some more before joining the queue at around 5:30pm. we were SO nervous. both of us talked w the armys in front and behind us, we made some friends, and then it was time for the security to check our tickets, we were both really scared that we wouldn’t be able to get in bc we both bought our tickets through resellers but everything went fine and once our bags were checked and we were really inside the venue we just started jumping around bc holy fucking shit it was gonna happen. it was really gonna happen fuuuck what the fuck okay. put our stuff in a locker and went to find our seats, went back to the hallways again to charge our phones, said goodbye abt 30mins before the concert started to go to our respective seats (not too far from each other luckily) and saw that there were like 7 front row seats still free. texted each other, “if 10mins before the show no one’s sitting there we will”, agreed and 10mins before the show moved to the front row. counted down. seven minutes. sang the songs. five minutes. screamed. two minutes. heart beating so wild. one minute. i’m about to fall out of my fucking chair. five. shaking. four. crying. three. about to die. two. screaming. one. music comes on and lights go down, i swear my heart stopped. everybody was screaming so loud and then suddenly they appeared on stage and it’s like the entire fucking universe has aligned bc my seven angels are RIGHT THERE i’ve never cried like that before i swear. the entire concert was just filled with so much love. them speaking dutch!!! them singing. them being them. me nearly fainting. it being so fucking hot inside the venue. the thrill of sharing that moment with thousands upon thousands of other armys. i just. miss it so much.

190301 a.c.e ‘to be an a.c.e’ world tour in brussels - i didn’t really know a.c.e all that well prior to the concert, i had heard of them and knew one of their songs cactus, so i researched and listened to most of their music and i was really impressed and the concert really helped to get me into them more bc they’re all so so so cute!! when i first started listening to their songs i liked byeongkwan best (he is now my bias) and during the concert, between their songs, i think donghun was talking and byeongkwan was looking in my general direction so i shoot him a finger heart and he saw and he smiled and HE SENT ME ONE BACK!!!! bro i legit died right. there. amazing concert, 11/10 would recommend

Shiro’s disease is a slow moving thing, but impending. He still has a few years before it starts to physically affect him, but Keith knows how quickly time moves (and how uncertain the diagnosis can be) and so, as such, he’d forced Shiro to come up with a bucket list for the upcoming summer.

The list goes on like: get married to Adam. Connect with family in Japan. Solar eclipse.

So Keith is like okay. This is doable. Cheesy, but like aren’t all bucket lists?

The wedding is small. Takes place in June. Keith asks his friends to help him pull it together after cracking when he realizes he can’t do it on his own. Allura is a godsend and who knew Lance would be so good at this stuff, too? Hunk takes care of the food. 

Adam and Shiro are able to take their honeymoon in Japan to connect with Shiro’s grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins. Keith stays home bc he can’t afford to not work for two weeks. Plus, he’s got a road trip to plan.

Lance finds out what he’s doing and helps and keith. He’s has a massive gigantic overwhelming crush on this boy since the day they met (tbh lance probably had a gf or somethin). And lance has been SO GREAT abt the wedding and now w/ the plans for shiro’s road trip and his walls are down. and after a while Keith is just like “do you wanna come?”

Lance is like :O !!!?????? “What isn’t this a family thing?”

And Keith is like SHIT ur right so he’s gotta be like “I invited hunk/pidge/allura/romelle too” even tho he didn’t.

So Lance is like “COOL! i‘ll come ! sounds fun!!” and then keith has to quickly invite all of their friends too before that gets outta hand. Lmao

He starts to hang out more w/ Lance to plan the trip together and he’s Living. Lance is so cool and funny and Keith is so happy lol.

One hot night in July they’re half drunk on the beach and lance is like “Okay, so why are you doing this stuff for your brother?”

And Keith explains that Shiro has a disease that will eventually start to affect his motor abilities, so he’s just trying to make sure that Shiro gets to do all of this stuff while it’s still a lot easier for him.

They’re a lot closer after that. Lance tells Keith about his personal life a little bit more. Opens up about his family. Maybe invites Keith for dinner one night or something since his fam is still in Japan.

Shiro and Adam come back with Lots of gifts and stories and Keith has never seen them HAPPIER which makes him happy bc adam worries a lot and shiro is shiro - always seems to be in trouble, doesn’t worry enough, generally a disaster etc.

It’s August! road trip time !! 

They take 2 cars: adam’s and allura’s. Leave from Vague Somewhere on the west coast. maybe they spend the night in vegas lmao

Day 2: grand canyon. More specifically, ziplining over the grand canyon. Hell yeah.

Day 3: Colorado Springs. Spend a few days here bc Mountains are beautiful and camping is romantic ok lots of hiking

Day 7: long drive to St. Louis. Sleep.

Day 8: tour the arch before heading south to the huzzah river where it’s less crowded. Rent a vacation home on the river.

Day 9: fun river activities. FLOATING. Everyone but lance gets a sunburn lmao

Day 10: drive up to St. Clair for Prime Eclipse Viewing. It’s hot as balls but the eclipse itself makes Keith get all teary eyed because he’s feeling a lot of things abt the view and the trip and his brother and especially lance. Lance probably kisses him. Finally.

Day 11: more river fun. more kissing. Last day. (maybe they go to a cave? There are lots of them in the area lmao)

Day 12 + 13: drive back home (long ass days lmao and they take turns driving)

Adam and Shiro go back to their teaching jobs in the next few days. Everyone thanks Keith and Lance for planning it and everyone agrees they should do something like it again soon.

Keith ofc gets in touch with Lance like asap. “I miss you” he says even though they just saw each other earlier.

Felix Rosier is unnaturally nervous when he knocks on your door; your neighbourhood is lively and full of young children playing in their yards, cars passing by to find a free parking space, and animals running around for a more secluded place to nap in. It is all a stark contrast to his home - wrapped up in solitude - as yours is the epitome of rowdy British life. He notes your muggle neighbours watching football on the telly from where he stands; the window is open and they are screaming profanities and cheers alike. The sky, golden and rosy, casts a dim glow on the world. His hand, holding a carefully picked batch of colourful flowers, sweats. He overhears some teens rave about an unfamiliar punk band. Felix Rosier, in all his glory, has never felt more out of place. He looks posh and feels ridiculous. Perhaps he should just leave?

This ongoing train of thought, more of doubt than anything, promptly stops when you swing the door open, your small frame draped over by a black Russian scarf with ornaments and flowers adoring its back. He inhales sharply at the sight, his lips, much to his displeasure as he can no longer hold his cool façade, quirk into a smile. It is the same gift he had sent you many moons ago, when he was touring Russia with his family. He figures, due to the two of you exchanging letters every week for years now, that it would only be natural, if not a bit forward, to bring back a souvenir. Though, Felix could hardly help himself. The scarf simply reminded him of you, and he had no choice but to purchase it. But…now that he thinks of it, thinks how beautiful you look wearing something he gifted, something that he very clearly indented you to wear, everything that he saw in Russia, everything ringing true to beauty – paintings, statues, a little flowers – always reminded him of you.

“You made it.” You beam, stepping aside to let him enter your humble abode, though not missing the chance to eye the pretty flowers in his grasp. You blush lightly, already anticipating as to when he will give them to you. You momentarily rack your mind for where your mother hid all the vases. “The rest are in the garden.” You say as you close the door with a soft click.

His eyes stop wandering around your humble palace – it is more muggle like than he had expected, but somehow it makes it all the more cosy. Magic is a double sided coin, after all. Some, like his parents, and many other pureblood families chose to view it as a tool of power, manipulation, and calculation. However, the more humane ones, like your family, like you, use it to enhance the human aspects; the soft aspects, per se, making the lights not as glaring, or the washing machine not as loud. Again, he feels alien to your world, but is strangely content with being a part of it.

You walk past him, most likely to lead the way, but he grabs your wrist and you promptly stop. Curious, you turn to him. Blasted nerves, got the best of him again. He would rather do this here, alone, with you. He does not want probing eyes. Your friends are a favourable bunch, you had insisted on it, but he is much older than you, and this is awkward enough as it is. The two of you had only really become close in your sixth year, when he was stressed from work and you of upcoming graduation, curses, and Jacob being back. You had always been a pupil to him, but now…It would be hard to imagine you in that same image. He does not wish to, either.

“(Name) (Lastname),” Felix addresses you formally, as if to give a grand speech. You refrain from snorting. His look of refinement soon shifts to careful admiration, “Or simply… Mon Petit Monde [1] .” Your heart swells in your chest and you grin; he lets go of you to take out his wand. Whispering a few spells under his breath, the flowers he had been holding swirl and turn and link to one another to make a crown that, after floating in the air for a few short seconds, slowly lands onto your head, “Congratulations on completing seven dangerous years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and only losing a handful of House points I could complain about. You have been, and continue to be, an outstanding witch, trusted friend, and loving woman. “He never breaks eye contacts as he says this, “I am immensely proud of you. And…I love you.”

“Oh, Felix…” You pull him into a tight embrace, “You absolute…you…sweetheart! The distain for other is just a facade, isn’t it?”

“…Sure.” He replies awkwardly after a pause, and you snicker.

Standing on your tippy-toes you kiss the side of his lips, whispering, “And I love you, as well…” Grasping his hand firmly, with no intention of letting go, you say, “Come, I’ll introduce you to my friends. Also, Jacob wants to meet you.”

“Should I be worried?”

You look him dead in the eye, “Only if you have something to hide.”

“Just your many misbehavings and foolish adventures during your first few years at Hogwarts. Oh, and your embarrassing love confession.”
