Jip is a Dutch veterinarian who is looking for a job change in a country that is not her own. She is fleeing from her past and needs a fresh start. However, nothing has prepared her for Thranduil King, who owns a ranch not far from her veterinary clinic in Pendleton, Oregon. He can't stand her at first, until she shows him that she won't let herself be bullied by him. Everything changes for both of them from that moment onwards. Unfortunately Jip carries a tonne of insecurities and suffers from a very low self-esteem. Thranduil manages to help her deal with them, though with some difficulty. For the first time in a long time, they both seem to have found the kind of happiness that has been a stranger to them both, until Jip's past catches up with her and it will cost her and Thranduil dearly. But dealing with the past is not as easy as they think, as they will find out. There will unexpected surprises around many corners and a few twists along the way. Will Jip and Thranduil ever find their 'happy ever after?' There is only one way to find out.

Ok so I’m sure by now it’s safe to say that like half of y’all are here cuz of the Lumberjack thing and are curious to see what I’m gonna put out next. 

I have lots of other ideas, because I have lots of other kinks. So. I may or may not write more were-dude stories. 

but if I DID, uh... likely candidates would be: 

-military (marines, navy, maybe super-soldiers or something like that)

-wrestlers (the beefiest and horniest of college athletes)

-cowboys (because why the fuck not) 

-fratbros (ready to fill your belly with booze and baby)

When you only want happiness for them, even if you can't be the one to make them happy. When you feel comfortable with them and you don't mind falling asleep, because you know they'll still be there when you wake up. When you find yourself laughing at their jokes, even when it isn't funny. When every love song suddenly seems real and applicable. When you wake up smiling for no reason and assume you must've dreamt of them. When you think to yourself, "Aren't I lucky?" just to have them in your life. When something happens (whether good or bad) and they're the first one you want to tell. When bad things in your life don't seem so bad just because they're in it. When you find yourself visiting them at work on your way out of town, even though it's completely out of your way. When you find yourself doing something you don't enjoy or never had time to learn because they love it and want to get you into it. When you write super-long paragraphs about how much they mean to you and how glad you are to have them in your life. And most importantly, when you can't even think of being with anyone else because you're so content. Am I forgetting anything, @irishpony?

This whole time I was in fear Worried that I was the problem Listening to all the things I'd hear And not knowing how to solve them I wanted to fix all that was broken But I couldn't no matter how hard I tried Again and again the same words were spoken "I'm tired of knowing you lied" I wasn't the only one It wasn't only my fault But only I was put in the sun Only I took the salt I feel like I was decieved I feel like I was betrayed Especially all this time I believed I believed you would have stayed What was I missing What did I need to fix Why weren't you listening When I was breaking like sticks Holding together what never was mine Putting together pieces that never fit Bending my back and breaking my spine For reasons you would never get And still I worried and constantly wondered How things could have changed But now I'm thankful I'm no longer under The spell you had arranged Because I had this constant battle in my head Over what was false and what was true Telling myself you were the reason I wasn't dead But really my only problem was you Now I'm happy and I don't have a worry I'm making joy my own Finally writing my own story And feeling like I'm at home
