ITS ALL CONNECTED ITS ALL FUCKING CONNECTEDDDDD I FEEL INSANE#stares at my corkboard with strings. punches wall#the water weakness is not as stupid and disjointed as everyone thinks and i have to prove it.#the disconnect between the west and JP in terms of acceptance of the water weakness lore is fucking insane#there's a video from a edutainment quiz youtuber in JP. not a splatuber mind you. that talks about osmosis and how it connects to inklings#the canon explanation mind you. this video has a million views!!!#a million fucking views!! its a video for casuals!! everyone knows inklings canonically die in water and the reason is related to osmosis!!#meanwhile if you bring up the concept of inklings dying in water on the western side with hopes to theorize according to canon lore#and i will. present the dev interview that outright confirms the reason is related to osmosis.#u know what happens. um actually they only die in fresh water! um no they dont die in water they just cant swim! DO U KNOW HOW INSANE I FEE#jp side has been speculating on how the osmosis thing actually works on inkling biology for years#and the english side cant even get over the hurdle that the water weakness is like. real undeniable canon#like i get that info is less accessible here. as i will prove. in my video eventually.#but holy fuck it makes me crazyyyyy when i actually do present stuff and ppl cover their ears anyway. this has happened a lot.

Sometimes I remember how In the helluva/hazbin universe heaven and hell just don’t have any remarkable distinction other than set dressing.
Technically heaven is no different than hell other than it’s aesthetics and the people that reside there.
What level of capitalism is this???

What do you think is the point of all these Guest Speaker gigs that Harry keeps doing? Like the book deal summit for example. Does he get paid or is it comped by some agency or organization that he represents on that day for that cause? Who are his agents? He isnt particularly bright, so what the motivation of the event organizers when they invite him?
This particular event, for example, had other more famous, legit speakers. It's been going for a few years and it's not like they need Harry for publicity. So the only one who benefits here is Harry and his wannabe influencer brand. With that in mind, do you think he pays the event managers to get a slot, any slot where he can speak and be seen long enough to get a People magazine article out of it?
I recently glanced at the Archwell impact reports for 2023 that came out and according to those there were no costs on record for fundraising activities at all. There were however event charges and management charges filed under "other costs". Could this be payments to agents who arranged these gigs? Or the costs producing this content that then goes into magazines and other media that they collaborate with? (It wasn't called as such in the report)
Another interesting part in that report was that nearly all their projects/grants were for Afghan women centres. Nothing about Harry's causes veterans/disinformation. So anything that Harry is doing for that is clearly being paid for by someone else, if not he himself (which is hard to imagine).
Invictus pays for the veteran related gigs but where does this online safety and misinformation related work get him money from?
Im pretty sure they are making money from somewhere, at least Harry is but where from?
What do you think is the point of all these Guest Speaker gigs that Harry keeps doing?
Money and exposure.
Like the book deal summit for example. Does he get paid or is it comped by some agency or organization that he represents on that day for that cause?
He's paid for it. His travel is either comped by the organization hosting the event or written off as a business expense for tax purposes.
Who are his agents?
He signed with the Harry Walker Agency in 2020. I don't think he's there any longer because he isn't on the website; however, Meghan is still listed as a Harry Walker client.
I'm guessing now Harry does everything through BetterUp.
He isnt particularly bright, so what the motivation of the event organizers when they invite him?
Exposure and publicity.
Harry by himself (aka no Meghan) is actually a pretty desirable 'get' in the motivational speaker community. He's more likable than Meghan, he actually has the title and the royal blood, and his press coverage is pretty decent and actually has a far reach.
I recently glanced at the Archwell impact reports for 2023 that came out and according to those there were no costs on record for fundraising activities at all.
Fundraising costs wouldn't be in an impact report. They're in the tax records.
There were however event charges and management charges filed under "other costs". Could this be payments to agents who arranged these gigs?
Actor's agents, managers, and teams get their fees from the actor's pay. So for instance, an actor with an agent, a manager, a publicist, and a lawyer has to pay them first before anything goes into his pocket. The agent might take 5%, the manager 8%, the publicist 4%, the lawyer 8%. So the actor's actual take-home pay for the gig is only 75% of the salary he was quoted on his contract.
I know absolutely nothing about how talent fees for motivational speakers work, but I assume it's similar; the booking agent would take their "finder's fee" out of Harry's pay.
Maybe someone else can chime in here.
Or the costs producing this content that then goes into magazines and other media that they collaborate with? (It wasn't called as such in the report)
Could be. I'd have to see their annual budget to be sure, because an impact report is only going to go into general expenses to appease stakeholders and donors.
Another interesting part in that report was that nearly all their projects/grants were for Afghan women centres. Nothing about Harry's causes veterans/disinformation.
Harry's causes don't work through Archewell. He does that work through other organizations.
So anything that Harry is doing for that is clearly being paid for by someone else, if not he himself (which is hard to imagine). Invictus pays for the veteran related gigs but where does this online safety and misinformation related work get him money from?
The online safety campaign is being spun as a mental health crisis, which is BetterUp.
Misinformation/disinformation is the Aspen Institute. Harry is a member of their Commission on Information Disorder. (At least as of 2021, he was.)
Im pretty sure they are making money from somewhere, at least Harry is but where from?
Speaker fees, investment income from their trusts, and their content deals. Harry is also making money from his polo games - his appearance fees for polo are supposed to go to charity but I wouldn't be surprised if he takes a cut for his pocket and keeps any cash prizes that come with winning. When Meghan is also at polo, she is also likely charging an appearance fee to be there (if the rumros from Summer 2018 still hold true).
Meghan is also making money from her merching of clothes and accessories (the brand pays her to be photographed in them). She is also likely taking cash from her paparazzi photos (she tells them where to be and in return, they give her a cut of their sales).
And a few of us have discussed it here before, but I'll say it again: they're also probably making money from scraping the data of website visitors to Archewell and Sussex Royal and selling them. It's a profitable (if not very ethical) business in tech these days. (So you should always assume that not only is every website you go to is scraping your data and selling it everywhere, but your info is all over the deep web and in Chinese and Russian hands.)

(In relation to ur ask reply) Allso plumbers and electricians having totally different jobs i think. Or im over thinking lol
I mean, they're similar in terms of being highly skilled blue collar professions that are necessary to keep modern infrastructure from falling apart. Otherwise, they are different fields of expertise.
But "plumbing" and "punching dragons to rescue mushroom people" are also totally different jobs, so I don't think Mario suffers from a lack of versatility when it comes to dabbling in various fields of knowledge.
Also, he does have an electric company according to a background sponsor of Mario Kart, so there's no telling what all this guy is capable of.

Some answers for @sleepyfan-blog :3
Also while I’m at it idrk how many questions anyone may have but feel free to ask away!!!! My inbox is always open :3 and I love love love yapping about this stuff 🫶
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello hello yes yes :3!!!!! So I’ll have to tread lightly around some things as there are bits and bobs that are story beats later on but there are a few things I can answer now!
1). Emps brother :0?!?!?!
Emps is 100% human (or well- as human as an immortal perpetual can be anyway) while I do really like the theory I’ve seen floating around that emps could have become/trying to prevent from becoming a chaos god bc belief is a strong thing in the 40k universe this isn’t what is going on in this au ^^! While I can’t say too much, as I’m trying to decide if this will be discussed later in the story or if I’ll just make a little ‘lore corner’ about this sometime in the future, emps is connected to the other chaos gods in a way they (emps and the chaos gods) have decided to label as siblings but emps has some different stuff going on with his situation making him more of a sort of step brother to them :)!
2). TEDDIES?!
The R&R adventures are real and do exist! They’re things that are indeed really happening & and emps isn’t just imagining it!
Malca-bear “speaking” to emps is mostly just him coping with the loss of malcador in his own private means bc he’s a big freak man who’s emotions and coping methods are whacked to the warp and back (/affe)
And yes UwU he does have bears of all his sons (+malcador) in various states at various times(most of his 21 son-bears are fine! What little damage they may get from an upset emps is very quickly repaired at his— sobbing— request, two of them however he has sealed away in a place even his most trusted of individuals don’t know of.) The last panel for ‘the chaos reveal’ is mostly just a fun little eye catcher thing but I wouldn’t put it past an extremely overwhelmed emps to rip it to shreds and then go sobbing to his custodes to pretty please fix his bear (the custodes are the only ones allowed to know about the teddies) and sobbing and crying until he was fixed, at which point he would profusely apologize to the little bear. I think for most of his sons (loyalist) who were lost to the heresy he hasn’t touched since and they sit in pristine condition on a shelf kept sparkling clean with likely custode upkeep set to a higher standard then the emperor allows for himself, his rebellious sons got a bit of scolding and then subsequent apologize they received the same treatment of tenderly being put up and tended to. His ‘still remaining son’ bears definitely are also kept in very good condition don’t get me wrong, he just has less qualms with cuddling them or having little make believe sessions that big E might find very embarrassing if I plastered all over got all to see 👀🤭🤭🤭🤭

Ah the pain of wanting to commission but not able to use the payment methods mentioned.
If you’re implying Paypal is what you’d use, it’s a platform I’m overall untrustworthy of. I will probably return to it in the future regardless of my feelings since it’s widely used for international transactions, but right now, I wasn’t really willing to upcharge any clients just to cover the fee Paypal forces business transactions to have.
With that being said, anyone who wants to use Paypal is still welcome to message me if you’re alright with an additional few dollars added onto the price. I’m just not officially writing it into my comm post as of now.

Y'know, we've been experimenting with Noodler's a bit more, and honestly we think that the talk about the smell as a sticking point has been overstated somewhat. We might be biased by our own background, but we think a lot of the reason that it's so overstated is because it's being encountered by people who have never been on a farm before and are unused to the scent.
We like to have opinions on things. This post is on your dashboard for two reasons - one, we've been using this Charlie pen for something like two-three weeks now, and thus have gained enough experience to be comfortable making statements about it, and two, like every review we've seen online and also the one person we talked to about using Noodler's immediately hit us with "oh but the SMELL" and we honestly didn't find it that bad.
We have, for reference, a Noodler's Charlie pen (came free with Baystate Blue), and a few bottles at this point. Noodler's is a brand that, at least for us, stands out due to affordability (guy making them apparently has previously stated that he takes pride in how little money he makes off his ink, and we checked and they're legitimately the cheapest ink even when compared to clearance inks) and the ridiculous amount of properties they bake into inks (waaterproof, forgeryproof, flourescent, "bulletproof", freeze-resistant - there are a good chunk of these that bind to the cellulite in paper, and Baystate Blue specifically is known for staining pens and such). Its pens are made with a vegetal resin that is cheap, biodegradable, and known for its smell. We also had one guy bring up the inks having an odor.
While the pens are where the "smell" note came up most often, we find that it's honestly... less bad than billed? It's noticeable when you put it up to your nose, but leaving it out in sunlight for a few days, as most manufacturers recommend, definitely does make a difference. The immediate smell is best described as putrescent - it reminds us a bit of manure, which is definitely something some people will have less tolerance for. With exposure to sunlight, it mulls into something more akin to a rich fertilizer, which we personally find somewhat pleasant, though YMMV on that.
This pen smells more when it has been used often - body temperature and sweat will get it smelling stronger, and it may stick to your fingers for a few minutes. Putting it down before writing again will get it back to its neutral state - and with the specific pen, doing this every now and then is a good idea anyways, since the Charlie Pen when eyedroppered can have excess flow if the hand's body heat causes the air inside of the pen to expand. This is probably a dealbreaker to some - we don't blame them, if so! This is an acquired taste, for sure, and we feel that a lot of our personal view on this particular manufacturer works the same way as
The chemical smell on inks is something that we'd definitely agree with with some, but not all - we have a sample vial of Noodler's Black Eel, and it has enough surface tension that it acts more like a simulation of a liquid than an actual liquid. It smells sharply artificial, like silicone condensed into a liquid. It is intense and distinctly unnatural and honestly it's a really fun substance to play with partially because of this. Other inks, like Southwest Sunset (3 oz bottle, obtained a few months ago by now), are significantly less... pronounced? There's a chemical smell, but it certainly isn't noticeable unless you stick your nose right up in there. Honestly, we think that unless you're getting a lubricant ink, it's nothing to worry about.
If we paid fifty dollars for this pen, then we might consider these complaints to be... hmm, more significant? The Noodler's Charlie Pen we have was free, and writes better than a $50 pen - and we do mean legitimately free, we checked the price of the ink and it adds nothing to the price to add the pen. Things like Noodler's Flex pens are ten bucks below the next most expensive thing and much prettier. Your mileage may vary, of course - we have a relatively sensitive nose, but we also grew up in the middle of fuckass nowhere and had more than enough time to get used to the smells of livestock and animals, whereas we could easily imagine that someone who didn't grow up on a farm would be shocked and disgusted by the smell. But it's a free pen, we like "biodegradable and sturdy", it functions better than our more expensive ones, and... honestly, we kind of think the resin is worth the price of admission.
This post does not necessarily have a purpose - it is, mostly, us sharing our opinions on something, and you should take it how you will. Most sellers recommend that you leave the pen out in sunlight to sap the smell, and we noticed that it was more or less gone when our of use after about a week and a half of that. Our $0 Charlie pen has a significantly better flow than our $25 Pilot Metropolitan, and a less scratchy nib. We feel like if it works it works - you may want a less strong-smelling pen, or a pen that doesn't need to be left out in sunlight for a week. Though we, of course, can be more than caught up in form, we tend to vastly prefer function over looking fancy, so this has become one of our most well-used pens over the past little bit.
So we aren't just obliterating your dashboard - here's a picture of the moddle, and of our foster kittens serving as our backdrop for our Charlie pen. Do what you will with this information. Also, to our loyal followers, thank you for continuing to attend our blog posts as we slowly descend further into the madness of fountain pens. We refuse to buy anything that costs over $100 without a job and at least a few years sunk into the hobby, but Fountain Pen Day has given us a handful of sales good enough to get spendier pens that would otherwise be out of our price range, so you will probably be hearing about those soon enough.
