jack is glad they're away from the headquarters, from the noises and the prying eyes. he's used to having all eyes on him because well frankly he's a jedi and also he can't die or at least doesn't stay dead for long and he heals faster than the others; very few know about his unique ability but everyone knows about his jedi abilities and that's the way he likes it. he peers into his own bottle and takes a couple of big gulps and can only silently hope he doesn't get the hiccups or choke from inhaling too much air while drinking.

there are so many rules he is breaking just by being here with hondo. but he's on break from the front line so it's only right he gets to use his break as he so pleases. jack leans back as well, wanting to lean against the pirate king but decides against it, just in case he'd be against it. he stretches his legs out in front of him and stretches his arms up and over his head before lowering his arms and placing one on hondo's shoulders. jack glances over at hondo's pet and grins at it before leaning his head back. "this is a nice place."

        “Hey...”

           Her voice was little more than a whisper, delicate fingers reaching to cup a copper-bearded jaw, and brush shakily through it.  There was no blood, not yet.  Blasters and lightsabers both cauterized to an extent.  It would come, perhaps.  Perhaps...

       “This was not...your fault.”

           Fingers shifted to is neck, shaking growing worse even as the woman shifted - agonizingly, in so much pain she wished to scream - to rest her head against his shoulder.  Only there did she allow herself to whimper, to breathe in the comforting scent of Obi-Wan’s cloak and tunic.  She coughed, and crimson settled on her lips, the metallic tang of iron filling her mouth.  But she remained there, curled delicately against him.

       “Pr-promise me...you will not blame yourself, Obi-Wan.  It’s not your fault.  Alright?”

           Without waiting for an answer, she lifted her head.  Her vision spun, but she reached for her fading connection to the Force, to meet those stunning blue eyes.  To settle in his arms more comfortably.

       “Kiss me?  I think I’ve earned it, by now.”

           A flicker of her glibness, a flash of an exhausted smile as her energy bled away, and she delicately wiped crimson from her lips.  She would miss him so...but joining the Force was not a bad thing to look forward to.  Especially not if she got this one kiss first.

god yes he does like being stepped on. so far i’ve beaten the jedi knight, smuggler, and sith warrior main stories and i’m a lil ways through imperial agent and sith inquisitor but i love me my malavai and just wish the og squad could at least react to more in the new stories

[SACRIFICE]: the sender cups the receiver's face tenderly to distract them, right before shoving them out of the way (to safety) and facing an attack alone in order to buy the receiver enough time to escape.

the whole plan had gone belly-up from the start-- even when it was supposed to be fairly straightforward, a simple in and out recon job. droids and agents of the empire alike had caught sight of their group almost immediately ( something maya felt guilty about for merely tripping over her own two feet ), and maya wanted so badly to drag kallus back with her so that their entire group could get back to the ship.

but he holds her face in that special way he always did when they were alone-- and her brain stopped for just long enough for him to push her. it was a small enough push, however, that she was still able to try and fight back to get to him again, despite the way hera and kanan both tried to drag her back with everyone else.

BECAUSE i can't stay still or have too many fandoms in one blog, i still have many blogs, just not as many as i used to. i typically follow my mutuals from everywhere ( allows to also catch replies i'd miss by not being on the right blog too ), but depending on who i follow you with you don't have to follow back.
