on one hand, eiffel had many, many more pressing things to worry about by then, but he has no idea how close he came to finding out what was in box 953. he almost told lovelace the story. all that time, she could've solved the mystery for him, if only she knew.

on the other hand... eiffel is very genre-savvy and (usually) has really good gut instincts. he makes a lot of startlingly good assumptions - and some really, really off base ones. in the same way he accuses pryce & cutter of being aliens... don't you wonder what he thought was going on with box 953? large mystery box, really cold, sounds like there's a "heartbeat" inside, "reserved for douglas eiffel"? he must have thought about it. especially after everything that comes up about clones, and making new bodies, and making new humans. the logical leap there based on sci-fi genre conventions would be wrong, in this case, but he doesn't know that. i'm sure the thought crossed his mind (and he decided he'd rather not think about it.)

Hi, so, I just found out that apparently, overhaul killed and brought eri back to life, MULTIPLE TIMES, and I was wondering if that would have any long term effects on some of the aus more centered around her, or around magic, because imagine if instado of an oni, she became a revenant in convergance event, but, like, on many levels, because he killed her many times, or in the Geist au, she could interact with ghosts because of her many deaths, or maybe have some dormant poltergeist abbilities?

You know, I was already aware of that fact--I bring it up when I point out that when Nighteye ordered Togata and Midoriya to let Overhaul take Eri, she technically does not survive this--I hadn't really factored it into any AUs.

I'm probably not going to have any undead in Convergence Event, but having her connected to ghosts in relevant AUs might be interesting
