Trump Administration/Cult spreading misinformation.
Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene are actively spreading anti-immigrant disinformation about the perpetrator of the attack in New Orleans, who was born in the U.S. and is an army veteran. Source of this information: https://www.wdsu.com/article/new-orleans-terror-suspect-jabbar-acted-alone/63323348 Jabbar has been confirmed Dead. Trump’s administration is fear-mongering, just as they have done…

Amazon-Owned 'Ring' Wants to Report Crime News - The Atlantic
Amazon-Owned ‘Ring’ Wants to Report Crime News – The Atlantic
An Amazon-owned firm is hiring editors to push local crime news to its users.
Is this journalism? I say not.
Yes, there is legitimate reason to be concerned about crime. Yes, covering crime is a central theme in covering local news. It is important but this is not that.
This to me is more a marketing strategy based in leveraging fear to drive sales of a device that ostensibly can protect you…

Making America Screwed Again by bringing back pre-existing conditions. Fear is the game plan. Authoritarians, which includes most GOP Legislators & everybody who voted for this turd, believe that Society must run on FEAR. They believe in their hearts that if we take away the slave-whip-of-fear the whole of Society will collapse. Without fear no one would work in a land of plenty. No one would go to the barn to milk the cows in a snow storm, no one would harvest the food, no one would go into the sewers to make repairs. No one would serve in the military. Starvation, anarchy, and cholera would follow. We’d be invaded by all the countries Imperial Corporate policies have wronged. The election of a black President was a harbinger of an Apocalyptic collapse. To these fear mongers Trump is not a lying sack of horse manure. He is doing exactly what they want and what he in code words implicitly promised them. He promised he’d make the American Public FEAR again. He’d make the 75% fear the gun toting 25% of Right Wing militia and the predatory alpha males that run & staff the Corporations, Legislators and Institutions. Bring back fear of Hell for breaking man’s customs. No more Politically Correct or Me Too or BLM or DACA. No more taxes wasted on Medicaid, SNAP or Vets Administration or pay for “loser” POWs. No more Unions or dreaded Union dues or strikes. No more taxes wasted on Public Schooling, Child Labor laws, Medicare or Social Security Work or Die! Then burn in Hell for all eternity because you are not one of the pre-chosen Saved. The Fear Mongers won’t go down without a fight. The didn’t in 1861, they didn’t in 1941, they didn’t during the 1960s. We need to brace ourselves and be prepared to fight for this Country that is built on a trust in mutual interdependence. A Country whose history demonstrates that fact-based debate can result in solutions that promote the Common Good. Fuck the Fear Mongers. What they do in the next few short months we will undo in the years to come. And we will make sure that their short chaotic tenure in office is remembered as a warning to future generations

this is going to be an unpopular opinion
and i’m used to those.  me being the contrarian that i am, i almost look for ways to differ from the crowd.
but let’s be real here.
protesters shut down a donald trump rally.  i’m of the mind that this was wrong.  just because you don’t align yourself with another candidate, doesn’t mean you get to deprive other americans the opportunity to hear that candidate speak.
it sets an awful precedent.  if the right wing put their mind to it, they could easily disrupt leftist rallies if they use the same fervor that the left used to shut down trump’s rally in chicago.  would leftists like getting their rallies shut down by right wingers?  probably not.  there would be so many “thinkpieces” denouncing the protesters that shut down their precious rallies.  we’re unfortunate to not see this undeniable double standard play itself out in our election campaigns.
here’s the thing.  i would never vote for trump, but i don’t understand the smear campaign behind him.  if you don’t want him president, that’s fine, but don’t act like you need a specific process just to deal with the thought of trump being president.  we’ll be fine, just like we always have been when republicans are in office.

Fearful people can not be free because they simply don’t want to be. Fearful people fight for walls, fight for bullies, fight for censorship, fight for tribalism, fight against their own freedom, fight equality, and when they shoot, they shoot to kill. The fearful are much less apprehensive of waging war, appealing to force, and depending upon authority. Equality does not come without freedom and freedom does not come without equality. Those who value freedom and equality are hypocrites to allow fear to dictate their actions and thoughts.

Hey fear mongers!
Another alarming headline World Net Daily, I have hit the breaking point with your alarming emails  A day doesn’t go by without messages like the one above showing up in my email. Like the boy who cried wolf, you have set off my fight or flight mechanism one time too many. I looked for an “Opt out” link on this email, to politely request you take me off your email list, but there was none. This…

If you're a Christian American who bashes Muslims, or any other faith that isn't Christian, you cowards need to be the ones kicked out of this country.
You preach your love for the "constitution", but you can't even follow it.

Crepé LaBouche's Creepy Letters to Celebs: The Westboro Baptist Church Picket
Crepé LaBouche’s Creepy Letters to Celebs: The Westboro Baptist Church Picket
Truthdig.com
Dear Westboro Baptist Church,
I arrived for my date at the grave yard and was surprised you were there to escort me. Did my date send you? At first glance I didn’t know if the signage was appropriate for a first date. Nonetheless I had my black on and my veil. Quiet tears streamed down my face as I approached the casket that holds my beloved. Through my haze of tears I read “God…

I literally got interested in the occult after watching Supernatural too much. It's a pretty sad reason, but I'm glad I did it.
who cares if it's a sad reason?
the only time I get annoyed when it comes to the tumblr pagan community mixed with supernatural is when people think it gives them almighty knowledge on subjects from the show. I know many people who have gotten into arguments because a supernatural fan believed they understood enochian, without actually understanding its history and place.
as long as you're researching and learning from cited sources (when it comes to speaking as an authority, and furthering your own knowledge), then it really doesn't matter what sparked your interest in learning from those sources. it only becomes a problem when you herald the original (fictional) source as fact. just like AHS:C claims that witches can only be born with magic is quite obviously not based in any fact.
and you shouldn't remove someone's eyes and give them to your not-daughter unless she explicitly gives you the okay because being blinded gave her a second sight and she was too awful of a character to see it before.

I got into the occult after watching those tinfoil hat documentaries about the illuminati (they kept talking about Aleister Crowley) so I quickly forgot about that thedelusional crap and starting reading about magick/ My point is that is a really embarassing story to tell and no one gives a sh*t about HOW or WHEN you got into the occult,it's not a trend or something to show to your buddies,it's a very personal journey you take
exactly.
I really started enjoying the concept of magic in a modern sense after reading the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott. which is, uhhhhhh, eight years ago? maybe? but I still was inspired by fiction, just like most were.
it's so silly to sit and say "no, now it's too late for you to be inspired, you are unwelcome". this obnoxious hatred of people who enjoy media and want to actively understand its source when it comes to magic is ridiculous.
