Ahh, see my dear Friend Anon, this is a nuanced spectrum- but I'll do my best to break it down as I see it:

Scared and Horny:

Claude - has enough common sense to be scared, but definitely hot-blooded enough to be horny about it. A beautiful balance, frankly, though he may tease you about how wild you were.

Raphael - soooo close to qualifying for the "just horny" category, but he is a sweet boy and still wants to check to be sure you're alright (mentally, emotionally, physically) after the battle.

Ignatz - soooo close to qualifying for the "just scared" category lmao. However, as you all know, I see our boy Ignatz as very repressed and very kinky, and seeing you be so powerful and passionate definitely stirs some part of him.

Ferdinand - practically the poster-boy for "scared and horny" tbh; he feels sheepish about it, but he just can't help how your strength and force of will arouse him.

Seteth - also strangely close to the "just horny" category, not that he wants to admit it; seeing you like this really awakens something primal in him from far in his past. Still, his concern for you is ever-present and ultimately pushes aside how entrancing you look conquering your foes so thoroughly.

Lorenz - oscillating wildly between worried for you and worried for every person around you. Definitely impressed, don't get me wrong- he appreciates battle prowess. But if you're really going berserk, he's worried.

Dedue - while he's likely right there beside you in the fight, he worries about seeing you get particularly aggressive. He's seen what bloodlust has done to the other most valued person in his life, and never wants to see you go too far down that path.

Ashe - it's not as though he can't stomach violence, he just feels that there's a certain responsibility and necessity for rules of engagement when it comes to combat, hence his proclivity for chivalry. Seeing you completely lose yourself worries him, and he'll want to be with you and hold you and make sure you're okay as soon as he can.

Just Horny:

Hubert - I feel like this is more or less self explanatory lmao. Though he does still hope you'll be rational and not do anything unnecessarily risky while eviscerating your foes.

Caspar - again, an obvious choice. Honestly, I think Caspar wants to fuck after just about every battle you two come back from, provided neither of you is hurt too badly.

Jeritza - this is the most obvious one so far lol. Though, when he's more 'himself,' he does silently worry about you sharing in his bloodshed and provoking the Death Knight part of him.

Felix - honestly, it's probably even fiercer than Hubert or Caspar; the lust he feels for you in the heat of battle is both primal and nearly spiritual. This is about his whole life philosophy, after all. After a particularly tough and gruesome fight, he wants nothing more than to absolutely ravage you (and might need to be talked down if he has wounds to attend to first)

Outliers:

Linhardt - ideally, he is not present, as the sight of you "going off" on an enemy is likely to involve waaaaay more blood than he's comfy with. He'll definitely tend to you afterward, and wryly scold you for going overboard (secretly, he was super worried when he heard from your comrades of how ferocious you were out there)

Dimitri - he's in different categories depending on where he's at in his arc tbh. Feral Dimitri is obviously just horny about you diving into the bloodshed with him, while "redeemed" Dimitri has some measure of restraint about it

Yuri - it's more like "amused/impressed and horny," tbh. Though he never looses his head about it- he's still keeping a close eye on you to make sure nothing goes awry. But he won't deny that he enjoys watching, nonetheless.

The next opportunity he had he just asked you how did you feel about yourself. His tone was filled with concern and it'd make you feel guilty to lie.

He knows it's not in his power to tell you how to feel, so he just wanted to know how to make it better. He'd do honestly anything to boost your confidence.

He believes in you, but he will let you take your time. He wouldn't shower you with too much compliments to not overwhelm you but he isn't shy to praise you when you achieve something great. That way you can't really say that it was undeserved.

Balthus

Okay, no. He's not letting you say what you want to say to the end note. It's not about not wanting to listen to you but just the first sentence of you thinking you're not good enough was enough for him to listen to.

After all he's not going to let anyone insult his partner, especially if it's you saying all that stuff.

Main difference is that he doesn't knock that out of your head literally. He just makes extra sure to give you all the right attention.

Words of affirmation just won't stop. Whatever you say will be corrected because for someone so smart you have a habit of saying some really dumb things about yourself.

He’ll never touch you if there isn’t a good excuse as to why so it could not draw negative interest from others to you.

How he met you: He met you after the war and through work. You had shown to get good results and get things done quickly, and that is why Edelgard assigned you to work alongside Hubert. There was a mission that Hubert couldn’t do alone even if he said otherwise. 

Hubert is wary of you even if Edelgard hand-picked you for this job so he kept part of his attention on you during the time both of you were together and that’s when Hubert began to fall.

Why does Hubert like you: Proud and dignified, knowing your value, and never thinking of lowering yourself to others, but neither do you come across as disrespectful or haughty. You are good at any job given to you and quick to finish it perfectly. Hubert finds all of this so refreshing that he can’t help but sigh in peace or be seen with a relaxed, peaceful smile near you. Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Anyone would just think that you’re simply friends, including you, while Linhardt himself might think otherwise. He is the only one who would notice that he treats you differently while everyone else thinks he is behaving as normal. 

The way he treats you differently: He'll want to spend time with you by either doing things or relaxing in each other's company as he rests. Linhardt will help you with work, not that he won’t complain but he won’t let you stop him from doing it. Even if tired, Linhardt will find time to spend with you, not wanting to go a day without at least talking to you once.

How he met you: You were his deskmate in the academy. He had no real opinion of you, seeing you as just another classmate who happened to not bother him. But Linhardt did notice that you would glance at him often during class, however whenever class ended instead of you going to bother him, you would disappear. Linhardt never saw you out of class, it was almost as if you were a ghost. It did pique his interest.

Why does Linhardt like you: You came across as shy and quiet which is what he thought you were always like until both of you grew closer, discovering that the real you, around close people Linhardt notices you laugh at some of the oddest things and when you get excited, you tend to talk faster and with your whole body. You are a ball of energy that Linhardt can’t understand how you have so much of it in you, but he enjoys it.

Casper wants to show off his skill in battle. Casper knows that he has a habit of rushing into things and not using his indoor voice usually which he’ll try to fix around you. How he met you: He only met you because he ended up saving you on the battlefield where you were cornered by enemies. Casper was able to save you and only got a thank you in response as you never told him  your name despite Casper telling you his. The second time he met you is when Casper saved you again by catching you from falling down a hill. 

You’ve caught Casper’s attention a few times because you almost seem to be in trouble and in need of saving. It didn’t take long before he worried that you were a danger to yourself and Casper decided to stay by your side to protect you.

Why does Casper like you: Casper realized that despite being clumsy, you are rather skilled on the battlefield and possess another talent. But you dislike having the pressure of responsibility on you, attempting to hide under the radar to avoid it. He doesn’t understand why you do it, although he’ll never question you about it. Both of you are opposite when it comes to personality and that might be a good thing. Casper’s personality has a habit of making you come out of your shell which he adores, wanting people to see the true you, while you help him calm down and slow down, telling him that life isn’t a race.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Everyone notices it, probably even you. Ferdinand will ask you to be part of things, invite you to places, and openly admit that he wants to spend time with you. It’s both sweet and embarrassing.

Despite basically growing up at each other’s side, Neither of you became friends until both of you entered the academy. You’ve always caught his eye at times, not that he was sure as to why, assuming it was due to curiosity, but after becoming friends, Ferdinand realized it wasn’t curiosity and he wanted something deeper.

Why does Ferdinand like you: You are hardworking and fast when asked to do a job, everyone isn’t aware that you do it to get the job over with quickly, “the sooner you do it, the sooner it’s over'' is what you told Ferdinand once. Ferdinand learned that people don’t know how loyal to a fault you are, and that you are the type of perfectionist that if not done correctly will bother you or you prefer to just not do it at all. He is the only person that knows you are sentimental and how you look when blushing, a sight that Ferdinand has thankfully only seen. He finds you to be adorable.

༓Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: He wouldn’t in either pre-skip or post-skip, never feeling like you should be with him because Dimitri believes that he isn’t a good person. It would be hard to have others talk him into confessing and even if you confess him first, Dimitri will be unsure of what to do. 

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: People can tell even if he tries to hide it, not that anyone would ever make a comment about it, especially to Dimitri after the post-skip. 

The way he treats you differently: Unknowingly or not, Dimitri will always seek you out, just wanting to talk and be near you. People can tell he is more relaxed and less guarded around you. Dimitri is protective of you, especially on the battlefield where he will kill anyone that comes near you. Dimitri is soft and will end up grabbing your hand simply to hold and keep you by his side. 

How he met you: Both of you met in the pre-skip, but never talked until post-skip. You, during pre-skip, was the child of a blacksmith and often brought all of your parents' recently made weapons to the armory and Dimitri saw you sometimes run by. He met you after you took over your parents’ business and became a blacksmith. 

Dimitri’s strongest memory of meeting you officially after you became a blacksmith and where you ended up yelling at him for breaking your good quality weapons. It was the first time in a long time that Dimitri was scolded over such a trivial thing

Why does Dimitri like you: He enjoyed being around you, felt a little less like a monster and a little more like a man, and during the time together, Dimitri didn’t look to the past but to the present and future with you.

༓Sylvain Jose Gautier Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Sylvain wouldn’t tell you for either two reasons, first is the fear of rejection and the second is not wanting to open himself up. If he did confess it was an accident, otherwise you will have to confess first or force it out of him.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Even if Sylvain doesn’t tell you that he loves you, it’s a little noticeable when paying attention to how he treats others compared to you.

The way he treats you differently: He’ll go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and will be the first to know something is wrong. Sylvain wants to be the first person you go to for comfort. He will flirt with you, and go out of his way to make you smile and want more, however, Sylvain will back away if he feels that you are attempting to get closer.

How he met you: He has known you since childhood where the first encounter ended up with you punching him because he made your friend cry. Sylvain kept an eye on you after that, curious about where a kid learned to hit like that.

Why does Sylvain like you: You don’t see the appeal of having crests and why it’s needed to affect the importance of someone. From his first encounter with you, he knows firsthand that you aren’t afraid to stand up for people and are rather protective of loved ones. You are someone that Sylvain can’t help but awe at, especially when you show off confidence. It might be odd to say as well that Sylvain finds it attractive when you win against him in a fight and show off a smug smirk in response.

༓Felix Hugo Fraldarius Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Felix wouldn’t see a need in confessing if there was nothing that made him feel like he should. He was fine with the current relationship you both have, not that you are even sure what it is. 

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: People who know Felix could tell that you are special to him. Felix was almost different around you, softer, less aggressive in speech and behavior, and more calm. Even he noticed it, not that Felix cared to do anything about it because it bothered no one, and he wanted you to only see this side of him. 

The way he treats you differently: Felix would always offer to help whenever a problem showed up, small or big and even if it was an inconvenience for him. It also went without saying that he is protective of you as well. Felix wanted you to feel safe and protected, especially around him if possible. He saw no problem with getting injured if it meant you didn’t.

How he met you: It was during the academy years when he noticed you who caught his eye. You were bubbly and friendly, and seemed like the type of person who would easily tire him out, and as such Felix had no interest in getting to know you but he could never take his eyes off of you.

Why does Felix like you: Bubbly and friendly, and someone that can bring a smile out of Felix. He, himself, isn’t sure why but around you Felix acts and feels different, relaxed and composed and as if not angry at the world. Felix feels the most happy when he is with you.

༓Ashe Ubert Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: It would both depend on the mood settling and how strongly he feels towards you. But it’s doubtful because Ashe would be stuck in his head about whether you would be interested in someone like him or chicken out at other times. He wouldn’t mind if you confessed his first, might even be relieved as it takes the anxiety off of him.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: It’s hard to say because Ashe is naturally a kind and thoughtful person to everyone and he doesn’t treat you any differently. Ashe gives off a house-husband vibe to anyone that sees him next to you.

The way he treats you differently: He would make you handmade snacks and reply with a smile that he felt like you just needed some, no real reason. Ashe will share and talk to you about his favorite books, and even about his dreams and anxieties. Ashe will be so soft on you that it’s incredible. He will want you to get along with his siblings. He will also want to practice his fighting skills, and might even learn some medical knowledge in case you get injured.

How he met you: He saw you a lot around Lord Loanto’s house because you were best friends with his son, Christophe, and usually ended with Ashe watching you in curiosity. But he didn’t talk to you until both Lord Loanto and Christophe forced him into doing it. His little siblings got to know you before he did.

He almost always saw you laughing freely and goofing off with Christophe but didn’t talk to you until both Christophe and Lord Loanto’s death when you reached out to him which Ashe accepted because he knew you loved them like family as well. After that, you guys got closer, enough that you would help him and his siblings when needed. The day he heard you got injured on a battlefield where Ashe wasn’t, he felt sick to his stomach and desperately needed to see you where Ashe helped you get better, and that’s when he knew about his feelings.

Why does Ashe like you: It was around after the death of both Christophe and Lord Loanto and when you stayed by his side is when Ashe started to realize the depth of his feelings for you. Ashe thinks you are kind and thoughtful, and he knows how people can mistake that for being foolish or weak, but Ashe is the only one that knows the truth about how clever and intelligent you are

༓Dedue Molinaro Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Dedue would not as he feels it would make you uncomfortable by having a man with his background be in love with you. He’ll still have feelings for you, but will never act on them nor confess unless you do first.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: No one besides Dimitri can tell, Dedue is also aware of his behavior towards you and knows that he shouldn’t do this because it will end up hurting both of you - him for rejection and you for having to deal with a man like him. Dimitri is quick to shut down that mindset.

The way he treats you differently: He is gentle and more talkative around you, wanting to know you better and listening to your voice. Dedue will offer his help all the time even if it’s not needed, and he will always protect you - on and off the battlefield. Which ends up with you taking care of his injuries, usually ending up with both of you blushing, quite adorable.

How he met you: Dedue has seen you often, specifically either in the greenhouse or planting flowers. However, neither of you talked to each other until Dedue saw firsthand you getting scared by a cat that jumped out of nowhere and made you trip over an empty flower pot in surprise.

Why does Dedue like you: Dedue felt genuinely peaceful around you and never felt awkward if there was silence between you. He didn’t realize how he felt towards you until Dedue both had a panic attack when you got injured badly and when he accidentally almost called you by the nickname Petal affectionately.

༓Claude von Riegan Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: He would but do it in a way that sounds like he is half serious and half joking, tricking you a little into being the one to confess first because of that. Claude will apologize with a smile if you point out his trick, but it’s hard to tell if his apology is genuine.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: His friends and loved one will notice, and everyone else Claude will be more careful of behaving, cautious of what people would do with the information of Claude being fond of you.

The way he treats you differently: Claude will go to you first for thoughts and ideas on his plans, always wanting to hear your thoughts and make you part of big choices. He will not miss a chance to be playful or flirtatious towards you, it might even end up with you lightly smacking his arm in response because of it. Claude will take you flying on his wyvern, either to your delight or horror. He will show off his skills, brain or brawn, or something else, if he has the skill, he is going to attempt to impress you. He might even try to teach you how to use the bow if you don’t do archery. Also depending on where he is going without you, Claude will come back with small gifts.

How he met you: You are a personal guard that his parents assigned to him after he left for the academy and even then you stuck by his side. Claude didn’t have an interest in you, only knowing the benefits of coming with you. Or at least before you punched a student in the face after they made a racial comment about him.

Why does Claude like you: Claude has fun teasing you. His favorite was watching you run around in panic when he would disappear from your sight. You were so businesslike and serious about your duty that Claude couldn’t help but attempt to get under your skin, something that he was successful at.

༓Lorenz Hellman Gloucester Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: It depends on pre-skip or post-skip and your social status. If it was when Lorenz was in the academy, he might not if you weren’t a noble but if you were, Lorenz would without a second thought. He would regardless of your social status after post-skip where he realizes that social class doesn’t matter. 

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: People can tell that he is fond of you but mistake it as friendship rather than romantically while Lorenz, himself, is in denial of such behavior.

The way he treats you differently: He will brag about his nobility status and won’t understand why you would get annoyed if he kept doing it all the time, but he would try to stop or do it less around you. Lorenz doesn’t want to do anything that might make you dislike him. He will help you with work, invite you to parties or invite you to tea drinks, and often gift you with flowers. It does go without saying that he will flirt with you, maybe even a bit more hardcore than with others.

How he met you: It was because his parents thought it would be a good idea to pick him as a future partner and you were one of his future partner options, not that you wanted that, Lorenz would later learn that your parents did it without permission.

Why does Lorenz like you: He has never met someone as rebellious and reckless as you are, and sometimes it surprises him. He has never had a noble like you, and despite Lorenz saying how a noble shouldn’t do that, he can’t help but take hold of your hand when it’s reached out to him as you plan to sneak off somewhere. You are such a free spirit and breath of fresh air, and Lorenz wouldn’t admit it but he would do anything that you asked of him if it brought out that mischievous smile of yours.

༓Raphael Kirsten Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Raphael would in the most eye-catching but cute way possible, like confessing to you loudly while holding a bouquet of both flowers that you like and that reminds him of you.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: People can see how much he likes you and find it adorable, almost too cute in a sweet sickly way.

The way he treats you differently: He is so sweet and tries his best to show how much he cares about you. He will compliment your cooking and will help you with shopping and picking things up. Raphael loves when you laugh and will find ways to make you laugh. Raphael enjoys being physically affectionate, specifically hugs and he is just a big teddy bear around you. He will also show off his muscles and battle skills and will try his best to not get hurt much so you won’t worry.

How he met you: He was helping with moving heavy food boxes that others couldn't lift when he met you. Other cooks told Raphael that you're one of the young cooks in training. But all he could really think about was how good you smelled from cooking, sweet like honey.

Why does Raphael like you: Raphael finds you to be rather cute like a small rabbit or little mouse as you tend to shy away from some people. He knows how sweet and thoughtful you are, and how openly you laugh with him. Raphael's feelings for you deepened when you made a free birthday cake for his sister when he wasn't sure if he could afford to buy and order one on time for her. Raphael is hopelessly in love with you.

༓Ignatz Victor Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: He would while being a little shy about it right before saying something romantic like a switch was flipped. 

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Yes, it would almost be amazing if no one could tell, especially when they see how romantic and gentlemanly he is

The way he treats you differently: He is beyond gentlemanly and polite while saying the most romantic and heart-racing words as if it's a normal and casual thing ever. Ignatz will give you his coat if you’re cold and anything else if that’s not enough. If you want to hold hands he will go further by placing kisses on the back of it while staring directly into your eyes. Ignatz will at some point have made an art piece for you as well.

How he met you: He met you at a craft store, looking for paint supplies where both of you talked for a good bit about the different styles of art, not realizing until after he left that you are the owner of the store.

Why does Ignatz like you: The first thing was about your knowledge of art and how comfortable it was to talk with you, not feeling so anxious about people knowing he paints. Ignatz liked the way your eyes would light up when a subject you loved came up and how when you became passionate enough you would talk with your hands which ended with you knocking stuff over at one point. Ignatz respected you a lot and hoped that you felt the same way before realizing that you also felt a different way when you were the one who asked him out.

༓Seteth  Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: He wouldn’t think about it because of how busy he is, Seteth enjoys just being around you. The only way he’ll end up confessing is because of Flayn who is beyond excited at the idea of him falling in love with one of her favorite people.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: It’s impossible to not notice how different he treats you. People are almost jealous because he gives you more freedom than anyone has ever seen, a thing that makes Flayn a little jealous as well.

The way he treats you differently: Less strict by a lot, you could probably do something like dropping coffee on him and Seteth will state how common it is to make mistakes. He will become fiercely protective of you like Flayn and depending on how reckless you are might end up destroying his nerves from how anxious he’ll become. Seteth will also find time in his day to spend time with you.

How he met you: He knew of you, a famous child book author and one of Flayn’s favorites, but didn’t officially meet until you stopped by the church and explained how you are here to read for the children. Seteth thought you were a good person and that was it. He had no plan to talk with you until Flayn begged him to get your signature, she was too shy, and during it, both of you ended up talking.

Why does Seteth like you: Seteth found it to be quite enjoyable, he liked it the most when you would laugh. Sometimes both of you would seek the other out to have another talk, able to talk about a subject for a long period. He would often ask questions to get to know about you and Seteth would try his best to answer your questions. He will also catch notice of how you behave around Flayn or the children, especially when reading to them which would bring a smile to his face. Flynn also talked his ears off about you as well.

༓Hanneman von Essar Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Hanneman would, but the way he goes about doing it can depend on the situation, if it is during a peaceful moment he will go about it a little romantically while if it is during an anxious moment, Hanneman will reveal his feelings to you in a blunt manner.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: He is polite and composed around you, unlike how Hanneman is around Manuela. He is sweet towards you, sometimes seen with a small blush whenever talking to you. Hanneman has gotten tired of acting like a young schoolboy.

The way he treats you differently: It will vary, he'll be such a gentleman to you and even romantic at times but is quick to become stiff if pointed out. Hanneman wants to show that he cares for you deeply but the past between you two can make it feel awkward.

How he met you: You were introduced as his future mentor in the past, before Hanneman left to go to the academy, and as such he spent a lot of time around you. The relationship on the surface was professional and strictly coworker appropriate. The truth is that both of you came to care for one another and couldn't help but desire to be together, and when you did, it didn't last long since Hanneman was planning to leave to go work at the academy while you decided to stay instead of go with him, and the relationship ended.

Why does Hanneman like you: He doesn't like you, no, in fact, Hanneman loves you deeply but because of what happened, he isn't sure if you would want to be more. He loves how intelligent you are, and how focused you'll get on something

༓Cyril  Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Cyril will confess in the most casual, unromantic way possible. He just isn’t sure how to go about it, he didn’t want to be seen as a kid for asking for help from others.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: People will notice how more open he is around you, freely showing his emotions. It’s a pleasant surprise.

The way he treats you differently: He will push off on doing his work later just so he can spend more time with you. Cyril is still a busy bee so don’t expect either of you to be lazy around the day, even on dates. Cyril will be physically affectionate if you desire, otherwise, he won’t see the appeal in it. His love language is quality time, just wanting to be with you, not caring if you guys do anything together.

How he met you: People would say you grew up with each other, not that either of you spent time together. You were the child of a knight in Cyril’s mind while he was just a boy. It is too serious for his age to be what you thought, and both of you usually ended up having arguments. When each of you got older, the fighting happened less and less and ended up enjoying being around one another. It wouldn’t be surprising if you guys were seen together throughout the day usually.

Why does Cyril like you: You are hardworking when it comes to your job, friendly and understanding when it comes to your friends, and beyond stubborn when it comes to arguments with Cyril. Maybe it is because he has known you since childhood, but you are one of the few people he feels comfortable with, and doesn’t feel the need to show off his skills to become acknowledged as an adult.

༓Jeritza  Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Probably wouldn’t if not talked into it or if you don’t confess first. But even if he didn’t, Jeritza wouldn’t want you to get with anyone else and silently threaten anyone who dared to think so.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Yes, simple as that. He will like to stay by your side be it at parties, just places in generals, or on the battlefield.

The way he treats you differently: One is that he enjoys being by your side regardless of probably wherever and becomes more talkative when it comes to you. You are one of the few people that don’t annoy him and make Jeritza immediately want to kill. The big major one is that he will share or give you his sweets which if that doesn’t make you realize how he feels about you then you don’t know him that well. Jeritza will also kill someone without question if you ask him to, and maybe even if you don’t. Jeritza might not do many things that one would see as romantic or make you seem special, but he is going to try his best.

How he met you: You guys officially met when Mercedes introduced you as a good friend and usually end up spending time together after Mercedes suggested it would be good for him to make more friends and you were a good person to start with.

Why does Jeritza like you: He will be at peace and relaxed when around you. You are gentle and give off a motherly aura, and never question why Jeritza is the way he is, instead just giving a smile. He isn’t sure why but one of his favorite things about you is your touch, specifically hugs, as it feels like you have wrapped him up in a blanket of warmth and love, and he can’t help but crave it.

༓Yuri Leclerc Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: Only if he is in a situation where he is 100% sure you feel the same or in an area where there aren’t many people in case he is rejected. Yuri won’t put himself in a situation where he isn’t sure if he won’t win.

Do people/you notice if he treats you differently: Some people might, mainly his friends or classmates, but it isn’t that different from his usual behavior.

The way he treats you differently: Will up his flirt game with you, almost straight up seducing you by how he’ll be a tease with his touches and talking to you in a low whisper, only for your ears. He will quickly back off at the first sight of discomfort because even though he acts like that, Yuri does genuinely like you and doesn’t want to upset you. Yuri will let you do his makeup if you want and do yours if you ask for the same. He is protective but will make sure you don’t know that because his method of protecting you is usually threatening other people and might do it with a smile.

How he met you: He met you when you were surrounded by some thugs who noticed that you’re a little too nicely dressed to be out in the lower town area at night, and Yuri ends up saving you. Afterward, Yuri tells you to go home, insulting you a little because you were being reckless, especially for a noble. Yuri made sure to safely follow you home. 

After the encounter with you, Yuri discovered you are the child of the man that he is meant to destroy their life. He didn’t plan to meet you again, but when he saw you at a noble party, where Yuri uses his social status to get into it, he couldn’t help but ask you for a dance.

Why does Yuri like you: Yuri finds your snarky nature to be amusing, it adds to the fuel of his desire to mess with you. He likes your curious nature but hates when you get into harmful and reckless situations. One of the reasons is that he isn’t sure if he’ll be there to save you all the time. In the beginning, being around you made him feel like a regular guy and not a sinful man. You feel at home and it’s been a long time since Yuri felt like that

༓Balthus von Albrecht Would he or would he not confess to you, and why: He would, seeing no reason as to why he shouldn’t. Balthus doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable but he will want to let you know where he stands and what he wants from this relationship. Balthus will give you time to decide on what to do, yet he’ll act like he didn’t just confess his feelings to you a few days ago.

Do people/you/ notice if he treats you differently: His friends will notice that Balthus is more friendly and often wants to hang out alone, but anyone else might have difficulty telling because he doesn’t treat you too differently from others.

The way he treats you differently: Friendly and honest, and will tell you that he enjoys spending time with you more than anyone else. He is protective of you, not wanting anyone of bad nature to come near you but he will not baby you nor hold you back. He’ll be there for you, but always let you have your freedom. Balthus will get you gifts randomly if he sees something that you might like, instead of using the money to pay off his debt.

How he met you: If it wasn’t for the fact that Balthus felt like gambling, he never would’ve met you. You were one of his opponents in the game, a dangerous foe, and someone who won all of his money. Instead of showing off or being rude to him, you invited Balthus out for a few drinks since you had just “earned some new money”

Why does Balthus like you: You were kind to most people but had no problem with cracking someone’s skull if they deserved it. You are neither a sore loser nor a smug winner, usually just into gambling for the fun of it and meeting people. You are very free in life and Balthus is attracted to it, almost drawn to it like a bear to honey. Balthus can see himself wanting to spend his life with someone like you romantically and if he couldn’t, Balthus would still simply be happy with being your friend so long you were in his life.

Hilda squealed when she first saw you, immediately dragging you into her room. 

She tried sprucing you up, but you didn’t really get it as she eagerly showed you different outfits and makeup

Tried to get your attention by waving her hands dramatically in front of you

She was pretty surprised when you opened up to her about why you weren’t interested

From then on Hilda decided to give you some tips on how to do your hair and such

She also gave you advice on clothes to wear, if you were still insecure. Something that won’t cause you to overheat, but is light and long enough to cover up your arms and legs.

Overall she was pretty open as soon as she learned about your circumstances and very willing to help.

Claude: 

 He had accounted for the possibility of you betraying him. Your disappearance had not been something he took with ease, yet the lack of contact or declaration of death for so long had him thinking 

Emotions are fleeting...the human mind was complex. Your loyalty was never something he wanted to question but he could never put his complete faith in you 

Even when you stood at his side protecting the crests, befriended his people, treated him as a true partner...he just couldn’t completely put his faith in you. Not with so much on the line 

 He wonders if that’s where he went wrong. Heavy rain clouded his sight but the sound of your voice rang dominant across the field. As you stand at Gronder with your weapon focused on his friends- your friends; Claude could not help but momentarily reminisce over the times you instead showed him your smile. The one that temporarily alleviated the weight of his dreams and expectations from his shoulders 

He would be the one to get it back. The professor had already converted other students to their side so there was a chance 

One you didn’t want, as you aimed at their head with tears pricking your eyes. He dismounted his wyvern instantly 

“Was it all a lie? Tell me...is this what you want for your home (Y/N)? Come fight with us” He slowly begins his approach, but the words die out as you attack him this time 

 A shrill battle cry is all he hears before he watches an axe lodge into your side. He’ll never hear the answer, but he didn’t need to. It finally clicked

His brows pressed in further as Lysithea gasped at your fallen form. Before he would have killed to know more about the hidden experiments going on in the empire, but not like this. They’ll come to collect the body before Hanneman can conduct any research, but he’ll give them more. Much more 

Raphael: 

Raphael doesn’t like to think on the battlefield. It’s not that he enjoys pummeling people without a glance, but if he looks back then he won’t look foreword. He’s confided in Ignatz many times after being scolded for running ahead, but when thinking can cost you your life he prefers not to waste the effort 

 Especially because he takes longer to process complex emotions and thoughts compared to the others. He trusts them to be tactical while he uses his muscles to save the day

Back in the day he had a perfectly reliable head to think for him. He cleared their path and they took care of all the important business. The classic ‘brains and brawn’ duo that no one would expect to ever find genuine interest in one another. Aren’t they stereotypically supposed to fight and be at each other’s throats? Not in this case 

“Haha! THAT WAS GREAT! Nice Job (Y/N), I hope today’s menu has meat because you need brain food and I need to feed my muscles!” 

 You knew Raphael and how to predict his movements, and he had complete faith in your judgements. Even at the monastery you both made the most efficient team to do chores  

 Instead of trying to change him, you worked to match his pace and became his partner. On the field and in life. Raphael knew he didn’t have to second guess with you at his side, and he felt what he wanted to feel.

He loved you. Your brains, your laugh, your heart, your cooking no matter good or bad...you. It was an emotion that came easy to him.

Though sometimes he berated himself for not thinking. Sometimes you’d get in trouble if he broke equipment or did something else out of line. Yet you remained patient and calmed him down at the same time.

It was difficult to adjust to fighting without his partner. He essentially had to relearn everything through experience, but he had full hope that you’d come back 

That hope clouded his judgement when he saw you conversing with the professor at Aillel. He was so overcome with joy that he mindlessly pushed aside enemies to get to you without actually examining the scene

His fury took over when the professor’s sword went straight through your stomach.  He tackled them to the ground and it took both Lorenz AND Hilda to pry him away. 

“You idiot! They’re the enemy!” Hilda shouted at him as he settled down. He couldn’t process it. They wouldn’t hurt their family, him.

 Yet, they wore red. Red that grew darker as their blood seeped in 

 Ignatz: 

“Can you paint my portrait?” You asked him one evening long ago. After a particularly grueling training session with the rest of class he had snuck off to sketch the trees by the market. The year was young and he still wasn’t too familiar with all his classmates 

You were new and he had took to your appearance instantly. He could replay your introduction mentally over and over. Your smooth words, slight bow, and the way your feet glided effortlessly to the closest seat you could get to the window. He was of course too shy to approach a new student since he wasn’t the social sort, but luckily he did not have to do much. 

You took the liberty of following him to his painting spot. He was flustered at being found, but you merely plopped at his side and began to eat your lunch. Where you had it stashed beforehand? He still doesn’t know 

 He had never been more aware of another’s presence, and his art showed it as the paper crinkled in his grasp. Yet somehow you seemed enamored at the picture forming on the page, so much that you asked to model 

He grew anxious instantly and decided to head back for his own meal. With no given answer you had left the topic behind, and from then on he began to find you nearby often. From acquaintances to friends, and from friends to ‘lovers without definition’. No confession was ever spoken but he knew you made decisions easier, life joyful, and the rest of his peers agreed as much as he. 

He drew that portrait. He drew it over, and over, and over, and over because he refused to forget your face. He would remember you and fight twice as hard to make up for what you couldn’t give. He swore that to Claude and everyone else when you were pronounced missing in action.

 and now? His eyes glisten as a body fitted under a white tarp lays yards away. You hadn’t tried to harm him but you were healing the enemy. It was decided that you were not with the Empire, but instead travelling through and became swept in the battle. Perhaps you didn’t know? Perhaps you simply decided to help whoever needed it no matter their side? 

He clutches his bow to his chest. One arrow, and you were down. He didn’t know 

He didn’t know but the pictures would never let him forget. The pages never felt the same from then on 

Lorenz:

It is a nobleman’s duty to protect the weak, the poor, the sick; yet, there must always be distance.

A nobleman must always carry themselves with a sense of professionalism. They must not display weakness, and a true leader is born of being able to separate their personal affairs from that of those they govern. 

 One day Lorenz will be the head of the Glouscer territory, and soon the Alliance as a whole if he has his way. Death must not phase him and he must be willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of his people

He follows the laws of a noble. He knows them on paper, but not in practice. 

 Only as he grew during an age of dispute and fighting did he begin to learn that actions differ from voice. All that he pledged as a young man held no meaning, because gradually he began to realize that he is not the most fit to govern Fodlan. He was incapable of completely tossing aside his personal desires or making the best decisions with certainty. Yes, he was well educated and would make a great right hand

Yet the title of leader would never be his. Why? Because he is a noble by definition 

The professor was a noble by heart. A true leader who let actions speak for them and selflessly protected the entirety of Fodlan instead of one singular portion.

 Lorenz is a noble in name, but in nature he is a man. He is a solider, a son, a friend, a politician...a human. One not immune to temptations or the grievances of loss no matter what face he may display for the public eye.

 There was a soul he once found vibrant. They were a mere commoner yet full of dedication. He placed a barrier around them immediately, one he was not allowed to cross no matter how tempted. They did not fit the criteria he sought

 Yet the night of the ball he allowed “them”  the curtesy of a dance. Their warm hand on his own, their body held tightly in his embrace, and lighthearted small talk being tossed between quips about their poor dancing skills 

They left his mouth dry as he bid them farewell to their next partner. He allowed the barrier to resurface as he went his own way

“You must rethink this (Y/N). How could siding with the empire lead to any promising future/ They will kill us all and then themselves in the process! Please, join us” 

“Spoken like a true noble, Lorenz. This social hierarchy has divided people for too long and you would realize that if you’d only look beyond Alliance borders!” 

If only he had grasped their hand longer- listened. They were the first to show him a world beyond his bubble, if only he popped it sooner. 

 Hilda:

You really annoyed her in the beginning. The way you carried yourself like some kind of prophet, or how you’d question everything the professor taught. Was it so hard to just do what was needed and move on? Even with something as simple as weeding the courtyard you always had to add your own two cents

It was like always being under analysis. She got that enough from Claude and didn’t need two people trying to read her. On many occasions she tried to gain traction over you, but somehow her efforts never bore fruit 

For a try-hard you were very accepting of her shortcomings. So long as what you were tasked with got done, the performance of others was never a secondary priority 

If only she could be that carefree about other people’s opinions. Maybe then living would be easier? 

Perhaps you were what she wanted to be? Satisfied with who you were enough to question the world around you while remaining secure with what you had 

Someone with the ability to step beyond your comfort zone and make your own decisions. Respected, knowledgeable...loved for who you are. Maybe that’s what drew her to you and lead to her envy forming into adoration 

and that adoration being trampled by sorrow 

“I still love you so no hard feelings, okay? I can’t back down” is what she told you. It was a taunt, but she did not expect your smile 

“Of course. I’m glad you’ve decided to show your backbone, just think of this as a spar like old times”

The casual talk did not fit the clash of blades that followed. Nor did it suit the battle roaring nearby 

A spar- just like old times. It was a familiar battle but this time her axe did not halt before delivering the deciding blow. 

Her hands shook as your body fell, yet you still appeared at peace despite the gash adorning your back. Perhaps you knew this would be the outcome before the day even began

Hilda did not cry, but asked for you to be buried on alliance soil. If anything she owed you that curtesy

She would never forgive you. Not today, not ever. 

How dare you choose to side with the people who killed the captain? He never did anything to anybody, and if you chose to betray everyone than Leonie would return the favor

She decided that any history between you two was nonexistent the moment you lifted your weapon. Mercy was a word you forgone long ago when instead of defending Garreg Mache, you slaughtered it’s inhabitants 

She thought you felt the same as well. Yet, fate always liked to twist in ways to hinder justice 

She watched from a distance as the professor approached your fallen form. They had insisted on trying to sway her old classmates, but she scoffed at the mere thought 

What made them think traitors would be good allies? Did they want to be stabbed in the back like their father?...like the captain 

She ignored the sting in her chest as you swatted their hand away. You had some nerve to reject their kindness and it pissed her off. She wanted this entire situation to simply end but- 

Her feet moved on their own

“Why are you such an idiot? Were you always this irresponsible?” her words cut deep, clearly shown by how you turned away. She could only grit her teeth at the stubbornness and reach for her lance 

You made your choice, and clearly it was up to her to deliver justice if no one else would 

So she did what she’s always had to do, the brunt work. With one swing it was over and you were just another count among the others 

She doesn’t know if the captain would praise her for remaining strong or scold her for remaining indifferent 

Lysithea: 

Everything always boils down to one thing: people cannot be trusted. Each and every time Lysithea has allowed someone close it has blown up in her face 

and somewhere deep down, she knew this situation wouldn’t have ended any differently. The world always found new ways to crush what she cared for 

The only question that remains is how much longer will she have to endure? How much longer did she have to fight? 

because now she had to fight for two. She had to find a cure or die trying 

During the battle for Garreg Mache many had been taken prisoner. She hadn’t the empire to conduct unethical experiments; maybe torture, but nothing like what she was witnessing. 

It was a fever dream one couldn’t fathom, but the mindless husk killing without remorse kept her in reality. What had they done to you?

She noticed the white hair in an instant. One of her worst fears had come to life seeing you at the death knight’s side, but the way you hadn’t even flinched when she called your name made her terrified 

Not even a whack of thoron could snap you out of it. She began to lose hope...were you even there anymore? Is this what they had planned for her if she didn’t flee?

“Say something you jerk! Don’t tell me you’re letting some petty magic keep you grounded, fight it!” 

No matter what anyone said it did nothing. When moral dwindled the only solution left was to free you through other means 

The death knight escaped after you fell. Next time...next time he would die at her hand. 

Lysithea instantaneously moved to further her research after your burial. Not for herself, but to find out if you were gone long before they found you. She needed to know if your death was peaceful, if you could see that she tried 

If you would forgive her 

Marianne: 

“This is Nova. I have to leave for a mission, would you watch him for me Marianne?”

 Bright blue eyes bored into hers as she gingerly took hold of the bunny. It’s fur was soft, well groomed. She took notice of how it snuggled into her arms as if it feared no human. Marianne knew instantly that the animal was well loved and cherished. The though made her almost refuse the favor in fear of hurting it, but her classmate’s insistence wasn’t something to fight. 

  Despite her warnings (Y/N) never listened, and at some point Marianne gave up on pushing them away. Their company was appreciated yet she would never say it, and the cuddly creature in her arms truly proved their trust in her 

 She could only nod in agreement as they skipped off to prepare the bunny’s necessities to bring to her room. Marianne hoped she could care for the animal properly, and that nothing would happen to it

She worried for the wrong reasons, as (Y/N) never returned home. They were sent to face Solon and avenge the death of the Professor’s father. Marianne was asked to remain and help in healing injured soldiers from the most previous confrontation. 

·If she knew that would have been the last time (Y/N) would show up in her room, she--no, she wouldn’t have done anything. She may have tried to convince them to stay home but Marianne knows she would have not confessed anything

  Not that she valued their friendship or that she worried for their wellbeing. Not that she was grateful they trusted her with Nova, or that they help her care for her horses. She wouldn’t have even thought it. 

 She didn’t think of it afterwards either. Her fondness for her deceased friend wouldn’t have been noticeable at all if not for the bunny. Despite everything she cared for it as if it were (Y/N) themselves. 

When she sees a familiar figure take charge at Gronder, time freezes. She remembers the bunny sitting in her dorm without an owner. She wonders how abandoned it must have felt to never see it’s best friend again. She feels for the bunny because it’s how she felt.

Without thinking she shoots a blast of magic their way and watches them crumple on the floor

Dorothea gives Camilla hugs, you can't tell me otherwise. By Camilla hugs, I mean if you are shorter than her, there's a good chance you a get a face full of titty during a Dorothea hug. She loves to wrap her arms around her s/o's neck when she hugs them. So please please PLEASE hug her often. She will give you kisses on the cheek regardless of if you are in a relationship or not. (Dorothea reminds me a lot of my one friend so that's where her inspiration came from.. I love you Rosa)

Petra can and will give bear hugs. Your back will most certainly crack everytime she hugs you. If you are her s/o, they are still just as firm, but she will loosen her grip if you ask. Gives you plenty of kisses on the shoulder.

Caspar.... oh boy. He gets over enthusiastic about everything. Will try his hardest to pick you up. Might take hugs as a competition if you try and hug him tighter. With an s/o, he calms down a little... but only a little. Will pick you up and twirl you around -- he will also do so in public.

Linhardt's hugs are very gentle, and he may lean on you a lot. Always one-armed regardless of who you are. May give you a peck on the forehead if you are dating.

Bernadetta will almost never initiate hugs. If you hug her without warning, she will scream, and ask that you please ask her if it's okay to hug her first. If you are her s/o, she'll ask for hugs often. If she's feeling anxious, or down, hug her. It makes her feel better when someone she trusts wraps her in their arms. She feels safe. (Bernie is another one inspired by a friend)

Dimitri tries to be gentle, but with his strength, his hugs are more firm than anything. If you ask him to lift you, he will. As his s/o, he will only hug you if you ask him. He doesn't want to hug you unprompted, in case he loses control of his strength and hurts you. Boy loves cuddles, please hug him.

Dedue does not like hugs. Will only hug you if you are his s/o, and if you are in private, because he doesn't want to damage your reputation.

SWEET BABY BOY ASHE LOVES TO HUG!!! You don't even need to ask to have a hug, he will give you one if he senses a not good emotion. With you as his s/o, he'll wrap himself around you and bury his face in your neck. Will give you tiny kisses on the nose.

Ingrid isn't great with hugs, but they're decent. Firm and reassuring, you will feel safe. As her s/o, she'll hug you if she's worried about you. Sylvain will chime in and say "Oh hey y/n, Ingrid was worried that you might have died while in the training grounds," and she'll shove him before giving you a quick hug. She's already lost one person she loved, and she doesn't want to lose you.

Mercedes gives mom hugs! So soft, so gentle, so loving! If you're her s/o, she'll hug you from behind all the time. Definitely the type to put her hands over your eyes and tell you to guess who.

Annette will tackle you into a hug regardless of who you are. Very sweet and enthusiastic hugs! She's also a human furnace, so that's an added benefit.

Sylvain's the type to give really warm and brotherly hugs to his friends. Might pick you up a little if you're shorter than him (tried this with Felix once, and he almost lost an eye). If you're his s/o, it depends on how he's feeling how his hugs are. If he's in a good, lovey dovey mood, he will hug you from behind and give you little kisses on the neck. If he's feeling down, he'll just flump on your shoulder and wrap his arms tightly around you. Will not let you go until he's reassured that you love him.

Felix will only give you hugs if you hug him, even then they're quick. He'll wrap an arm around your shoulders quickly, and give a light pat on the shoulder. He always gives an annoyed huff afterwards. If you're his s/o, he'll hug you only in private. If he's cold, you're his go-to method of warming up. Won't admit it, but he loves to hug you.

Claude will either give really silly hugs or sweet hugs, no in between. Will randomly pull you into a hug and trap you there for a while. Does this with all of the Golden Deer, especially Lorenz because it bothers him so much. As his s/o, he'll peck your forehead during kisses. Will tickle you if he feels like it. Will pick you up and spin you. Definitely initiates hugs with pinches on your side or tugging at your wrist. Sometimes makeout sessions result in hugs.

Hilda gives the strangest hugs. Both lazy yet tight. As her s/o, she'll give you kisses on the neck/cheek/nose/lips. Cuddly hugger.

Lorenz is interesting. Ask him for a hug as a friend, and he loosely wraps his arms around your shoulders, drawing you into his chest for a moment so you get to inhale his very strong cologne for a few seconds. As his s/o, he'll try his best to hug you in a gentlemanly way. Will kiss your hand before pulling you close. One arm goes around your waist and the other is around your shoulders so that he may tilt your head up and kiss you if he pleases. Please tell him you like his cologne.

Ignatz gives very sweet and gentle hugs. Like Ashe, you don't really have to ask. It's his natural way to go about making someone feel better. As his s/o, he gets shy when hugging you. He wants to, but you make him nervous because he finds you absolutely stunning. Very sweet kisses on the cheek.

Raphael gives bear hugs regardless of who you are. You wanna sit on his shoulders? Heck yeah, come here buddy! Will definitely lift you up if you're shorter than him, which you most likely are.

Marianne's hugs are a blessing. Very sweet and gentle, and rare. If you are her s/o, she loves it when you give her tiny pecks on the forehead.

Lysithea will complain about friend hugs, but she'll love s/o hugs (will never admit it). Will stand on her tip toes even if you're the same height as her.

Leonie is a lot like Raphael -- big strong bear hugs. If you're her s/o, she'll give quick hugs with quick pecks because she's a tsun.

Rarely a public thing.. he’s worried people may talk if you seem too close to him! Little gestures like hand holding in private are rarer at first but he comes around to it! Firm grip and calloused hands... warm but not sweaty.

If you can ever convince him to do it.. well its a firm grip, maybe a bit tight... and I kinda imagine him with cold hands lol

I don't think it says o nthe rules list so I'm going to ask. Is it alright to ask for non relationship scenarios with no reader involved? For example, could I ask for headcanons (or a one-shot) regarding Claude and Hilda trying to act as matchmakers for the rest of the 3 houses cast (because it feels like something they'd do)? Golden Deer Matchmakers

Honestly this ended up as a one-off comment Claude made. Just a joke about how he and Hilda would do better at pairing everyone up than themselves and Hilda took that seriously.

Lysithea, being so young, is a harder choice until Hilda brings up the idea of Caspar. Lysithea wants to be a grown up so bad and neglecting her own happiness that Hilda is just like, “Caspar can show her that it’s okay to have fun too! And maybe she can help him not be an idiot.”

Claude jokingly suggests Ignatz and Leonie together as an “opposites attract” type of thing, but honestly it works somehow? Ignatz is always in his head and unsure of being an artist while Leonie is blunt enough to tell him to just go for it and chase his dream.

Hilda is definitely coming up with a list for Marianne, but Claude stops her. Just tells her that Marianne is fine. Because he’s seen the quiet conversations she’s had with Dimitri and how close the two of them have gotten. That’s a precious thing that Claude thinks should be left alone. Of course, he’s definitely teasing Dimitri later though.

Hilda makes a face when it comes to setting up someone with Lorenz. Sure the guy isn’t terrible but he’s obnoxious. Claude makes a joke about leaving him with Ferdinand and Hilda ends up agreeing. Claude on the other hand, has seen the secretive looks of Lorenz and Dorothea and so he has his own strings he’s pulling with that.

Hilda states that Raphael and Bernie are cute, which confuses the crap out of Claude. She’s scared of everything and Raph is a pretty big guy. Hilda tells him that she knows what she’s talking about and is already planning something for Bernie to cook since the way to Raphael’s heart is his stomach.
