Odin

He's extremely dramatic about it. Your love may as well be a curse because he's aching each time you're not close to him.

He usually says something under his breath. Almost like he's practicing his lines before he asks you in his Odin way to be affectionate- which he is doing actually.

His tone, face and gestures are so dorky you can't believe how lucky you are to be on the receiving end of his lines.

You are his chosen one. And your mission is to love him and let him love you. Whenever you hug him, whenever you kiss him- he feels like he's in paradise.

Claude

Sometimes he's straightforward, sometimes he tricks you into giving him affection- it really depends on his mood.

His tricks are corny, and a lot of times you saw it coming before he could finish his hyper specific questions and requests. But it's not like you can complain about getting hugs and kisses from him.

When he manages to get you off guard though he's so proud of himself. He can't help but smile at your reactions.

And when he's straightforward about it he asks in the sweetest way imaginable. After all, he can't help but want to kiss such an adorable lady before him!

Sylvain

He's always been casual with affection. It's natural to him to be immediately close to a girl that caught his eye.

You- of course- are different from his past girlfriends but in this regard only one thing is a bit different. As odd as it sounds, he's much more respectful to your boundaries than any other girl. So he holds himself back a little even if most of it is reflex at this point.

When he needs your affection he'd hug you from behind and whisper to you to pay attention to him in a way so silly, it's adorable.

He's not the jealous type, but he definitely is very needy. He has to feel you close, you could say that he needs it like his next breath but that would be taking it a little far... Although he did say that once or twice.

Takumi's been busy of late. Which is understandable, he is a prince afterall. But it's more so than normal. You'd be able to catch him in between down time to spend some time together but the most you've gotten of late is a passing glance, an apology for not being able to stand near you longer and a fleeting farewell.

You do wonder when the business of it all will end, but you've not had much time to ponder on it either. Always something needing to be done, and not wanting to add to Takumi's workload any further you jump on any extra task you can do hoping to be able to get some time together soon.

Although it's possible you might have taken too much onboard. Given how the next time you pass each other, Takumi halts completely, stopping you in place. "You look tired." His brow furrows in concern. "You don't need to work yourself so hard."

"Says you! When is the last time you had a break?" He grimaces at your words. "I just wanted to jump in and help that way we could spend more time together." You let out a sigh. Knowing there's probably not much that can be done, the tasks keep piling up and the hours in a day dwindle.

"You know I'd do anything for you right?" He says, placing your hand in his. "If you think we aren't spending enough time together just say it. I'll make time."

"We're not spending enough time together." You repeat to him and he nods.

"I'll meet you at your room later. And we'll do something."

"Do you mean it?"

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't." You smile at him, and he mimics the action. "I'll see you later, I promise." With that he lets go of your hand and carries on in the other direction. You do the same, hoping that the day doesn't drag on too long.

He enjoys the festival quite a bit, his eyes scanning the various stalls for something nice. Now and then he does check to make sure you’re not being followed, enemies can be everywhere during times of war, after all, but he keeps a smile on his face to not worry you.

Yukimura is happy to hold your hand as you both walk, if you allow him. Being close to you is something he enjoys. Especially since the festival is crowded so this lets him make sure you don’t get separated.

He takes you away from the crowd when it gets closer to the firework show. Just because he wants to find a nice, quiet space for you both to enjoy it.

I've been getting my bf into Fire Emblem: Fates and like I might probably wanna write for it.

I'm thinking 1st gen x reader or corrin and then 2nd gen x reader (sorry lmao I cannot get behind dating the 2nd gen ppl as corrin).

But also since I've been getting back into FE I've also been thinking Awakening, Echos, 3 Houses, and Engage (basically any FE game past 2012). But since FE Fates is my favorite I'd probably do that first. I've played all 3 branches of it like countless times too so I think that's my strong suit.

Summary: It's just a subordinate reporting to their superior after a successful mission. What else could possibly transpire?

“I trust it went well?”

“Yes, Lord Iago.”

The subordinate nodded as they looked at their superior in the eye, who was about a head taller than them. He exuded an imposing aura as he donned a gold headdress and mask that contrasted with his long black hair. Dark robes with golden accents and a large cape with red feathers augmented his air of superiority. It was attire fit for only a high-ranking Nohrian official such as himself. The dread mage looked more formidable under the torchlight in the secluded and dark corridor of the castle where both individuals were present.

“I was able to lure General Akira and his forces into the Woods of the Forlorn,” the subordinate continued to report. “They did not know the terrain well, and their movements were hindered considerably when they encountered a swamp. I was able to end them right then and there.”

“Hah, what a pathetic end for those arrogant Hoshidans! Very good, I knew I could rely on you.”

The subordinate waited for Iago to give more orders or dismiss them. It was nerve-wracking to be in the presence of such an intimidating man, and they wanted to leave as soon as possible. The subordinate was not blind to many of the… unsavory deeds Iago had done for His Highness, much less his arrogant attitude toward those he perceived as lower than himself. Though it was for the kingdom, the fact did not make the subordinate feel more comfortable in the man’s presence.

The discomfort heightened significantly and the subordinate’s heart started to race when Iago’s eyes narrowed and a frown started to form on his visage. Gods, what was it now? They did everything he ordered with the appropriate efficiency and succeeded in every area! The subordinate did not want to be the main target of his severely harsh reprimands… and perhaps severe punishment.

“You were wounded,” he stated rigidly. 

The subordinate looked down. There was a scar around their torso, which was not there before their mission in the Woods. A troubadour was able to heal it, but it would take some time for the scar to appear less conspicuous. 

“A minor mistake,” the subordinate replied hesitantly. 

Unexpectedly and much to the subordinate’s heightened distress, Iago strode until he was in front of them, no less than three feet. The subordinate could feel their heart thundering heavily in their chest. To add to the absurdity of the situation, Iago reached out and put a hand on their scar! 

“Lord Iago, y-you-”

“Hush.”

Green energy protruded from the dread mage’s hand and the subordinate felt a warm sensation on their skin. Once Iago retracted his hand, the scar was no more.

Since when did someone such as himself care enough to do such deeds for a subordinate such as them?

“There. Clearly, the healer wasn’t skilled enough if they couldn’t make a scar like that disappear.”

The subordinate was momentarily speechless before gaining a further grip on themself. They still felt flustered from his touch.

“Thank you, Lord Iago,” they said a bit weakly, eyes staying on where their wound formerly was.

The subordinate thought they couldn’t get any more flustered, but it turned out, they could. Iago suddenly gripped their chin and forced them to look him in the eye.

“Try not to be so reckless next time, hmm?” Iago expressed in a slightly sultry manner (although the subordinate could be imagining that despite the dread mage holding their chin, right???). The subordinate could feel a bit of his warm breath on their face. “I would hate for my best subordinate to be rendered… broken and useless. I have no use for such inadequacy.”

He then released the subordinate’s chin, much to their relief. They unintentionally let out a small breath of relief.

“You are dismissed,” Iago finally uttered. With a flourish of his cape, he turned and sauntered down the hall, eventually disappearing into the shadows.

With their attention no longer on the nonexistent scar, the subordinate gently touched their chin.

A part of me wants to say his string would be that of the highest quality silk, but another part of me thinks it would be something rough. So I am going with Sisal rope that had a blue silk layered on top of it. The silk has gotten torn over the years which show the rough rope under it. Just a little something to show the wear and tear of his health.

Regardless both materials suggested show off his status as a prince. Sisal rope has historically been used in royal navy's. Dimirti can be both rough and smooth in his affections, which i think his string would suggest. But no matter what, he is there to weather the storms of life with you by his side.

Inigo/Lasow: (this is one is short because jnjgklsgbf i don't have a ton to say)

RIBBON. This man's string is a light pink, thin ribbon, perfect for dancing shows and no one call tell me otherwise! No matter what world he is in, it is his mother's love that has taught and carried him to you. He'll think back on his father and how happy he made his mother, and want to be that man for you no matter what.

In truth, I think the string for him his more then just for his love for you, it is the love for all of his family.

It was a faint moment but one that he would think back on constantly for many reasons. The closeness, her touch, her voice...

His typical... Problems with clothes embarrassing as they were found their way to his head.

It wasn't anything too noticable, he just got something small caught up in his hair, he had no clue about it.

That is until he felt Corrin's hand on his head "What are you doing?" He asked, masking his embarrassment by her gesture.

"There was a loose string in your hair" she showed him the evidence and he thanked her for her help.

"By the way, I had no idea your hair was so soft" she commented justifying why her hand lingered for a moment longer, but he couldn't think of a response in the moment.

Ryoma

He wanted to make sure Corrin feels welcome and comfortable in the new situation.

So, any way he could he tried to comply to her requests. Even if she wasn't asking for much he was happy to provide anything.

One time she asked him to take off his headpiece just because so far she had only seen him wearing it. The difference wasn't anyhow big but it satisfied her curiosity all the same.

Without even thinking about it, she ran her hand through his hair. It just seemed like the right thing to do at that moment.

Ryoma didn't comment on it, but Corrin said "You look quite different, but still handsome" her tone was polite, yet her words surprised him a little and he ended up thinking about it later.

"still" handsome? So normally she also considered him handsome? Was she really just being polite..? But he quickly recognized that he should perish the thought of going deeper into this...

Jakob

He had the busiest day possible. And he was quite the mess despite not trying to show it. But of course for his lady he acted like nothing was wrong in the slightest!

She however, noticed how the ribbon in his hair got loose. So she decided to fix it for him.

He was surprised when he suddenly felt her touching his hair. But before he got to ask, she explained everything to him "I fixed your ribbon" her smile was truly to die for...

"My deepest apologies for the trouble, my lady. Next time... Could I ask that you tell me about it instead? There is no need to trouble you with something so trivial..."

Later on he'd find himself thinking about it. Was it just him or did she actually keep her hand there for longer..?

a - absence, what do they do when your gone? do they get lonely easy? how long does it take for them to start missing you? 

Camilla will always tell you that she misses you the moment you leave the castle gates. And while she does mean it. Sighing to herself about how unfair it is that you have to work so hard elsewhere without her, or vice versa if it's her who has to go, that's all it is for short periods of time. Huffing and sighs, while she counts down the sunrises and sunsets until you reunite.

For longer periods of time, she writes letters. If it might be months before she can see you again, she'll write you a letter everyday, even if that means you might end up with four days worth of letters in one go. Each one detailing her day, and how she wishes they were there beside her to experience what she was.

Every letter starts off with: "To my dearest,"

You're an absolute mess. Cold sweat sticks to your skin, you had practically crumbled to the floor mere moments ago. Camilla didn't waste a moment rushing straight to you, cradling your face in her hands while checking your temperature. "I need a healer, now."

She calls out and the sound of footsteps darting away from the door follow. Her face is contorted in worry as she tries to examine you herself, unable to decipher any visible ailments. Her concern growing as you breathing fell into heavy pants. She retracts her hands from you, only momentarily to help you up off the floor.

Only for you to plea for her. "Please touch me again," your eyes are round and soft, almost cute enough for her to give in to your request right away.

"Sweetie, is that what you need? For me to touch you?" You nod feverishly. While part of her still isn't convinced that it's going to fix whatever ailment has befallen you, she still presses her hands against your skin, waiting out for a healer to arrive and officially tell her what's wrong.

s - staring, do they stare at you? how often? how do they react when caught? what do they do if they catch you staring? 

You're simply adorable. Camilla tells you so all the time, she doesn't hide her affection for you. Let alone when she's gazing at you from across the room. "It's almost a wonder that not everyone stares at you, you're simply the cutest thing!" Is her response if you question her stares.

She also finds you so cute when you stare at her. In fact she's overjoyed that you are! Feel free to look at her as much as you like, after all a lot of the time she's spent getting ready for the day is wondering if something she did would catch your eye.

"Now, now no need to be shy!" If you're quick to avert your gaze upon being caught, she's quick to beckon you back to look at her. Even if you find her methods slightly embarrassing.

i. yes, i am very happy to write stories featuring mlm and wlw & any couple/identity that would be requested! if i just write something or if the request is not specific then i will write with more neutrality towards gender but with feminine presentation, but i am willing to write any specifics regarding gender/identity. ii. i would also say that i am not comfortable with writing lolishota myself & related content (i will write significant age gaps, but nothing with young children in terms of that). i'm sorry i'm not too specific for other than those things, but anything else is up to discussion and/or i will make it clear if i am comfortable writing with what is requested.
