Sigurd seemingly ? forgot the pledge he made with Quan and Eldigan but tbh I would put my money on Sigurd having only momentarily forgotten in the heat of battle, running around helping villages and trying to save Edain, living up to his duties while his father and their armies are gone. Then Quan and Ethlyn come riding in, with Finn as their only knight, and both of them can only think about helping Sigurd in his hour of need despite what's going on in the world right now. He really places a high value on his bonds. Of course he married Ethlyn because he loves her, but it's certainly an added perk that Sigurd is now his brother-in-law too. Anyway, I just think he's Neat and I love him
