Alfred 

-Alfred would be so pumped! He would pull you into a hug as soon as you handed it to him.

 “Wow these are so nice! I feel so loved! Though I feel a bit bad that I haven’t gotten you anything yet.” 

-He eats all the chocolates immediately. He does mention that the chocolates that have a floral notes are especially tasty. 

-To make up for his lack of a present, he tries to take you on a run so you have to get him to let his stomach settle before he makes himself sick. 

-Later, he gifts you a large and beautiful bouquet of Firenese flowers as thanks. 

“Thank you, [Y/N]. Though these beautiful buds will one day will 

Diamant

-Diamant would look quite stoic as he gracefully takes the chocolates from you.

-He sneaks a bite of one of them and hums as he savors the taste of it. He mentions that the grape flavor reminds him of some of his favorite dishes. 

“You are quite skilled in making chocolate. Perhaps I should hire you personally to make chocolate for me.”

-He blushes at his own words. 

“Obviously you mean more to me than just making sweets tolerable. What I mean to say is thank you for the gift. It is very lovely that you considered my tastes so carefully.”

-He offers you a polished and cut gemstone set in a bracelet made specially for you. Though he wouldn’t say it, it took a lot of effort to get it crafted from the gem he mined personally for you. 

Alcryst 

-Alcryst would be so confused. He wonders if someone dared you to give him a gift.

 “I’m so sorry that you would even have to waste this precious chocolate on me.”

-Once you explain that you made them specifically for him and put a lot of love into making them, his eyes get wide.

”I’m so sorry if I was insulting your feelings. How rude of me! I just never thought you would give such a lovely gift to me of all people. Even if I had really hoped you would find it in your heart to offer it to someone as lowly as me.”

-He quickly opens them to eat a few to show his appreciation. He picks out the flavors exactly and asks how you made them. He might not actually try to make the chocolate himself especially since he doesn’t often eat sweets, but he wants to show he really does appreciate the effort you put in for him.

Griss

-Griss would look oddly disappointed as you hand him the box of chocolates. 

 “What’s this? Chocolate? I’m not about that sweet stuff, babe. You know I like something more... substantial.”

-When you tell him that they are for him to give to you as rewards as you dish out his real present, a wicked grin stretches across his face. He seems extremely pleased at the thought.

- He pulls out a necklace with a small empty vial as the pendant. 

“I thought we could at one more event to tonight. I even know exactly where you should carve me open to really fill that thing up.”

Mauvier

Mauvier at first would be concerned at the chocolates that you present to him. 

“I can’t accept these, [Y/N]. I’m afraid that I do not enjoy them all that much. Please gift them to someone who will truly be able to accept them wholeheartedly.”

-When you explain to him that they are specifically filled with apple and nut milk pie filling, his serious expression melts. 

“Forgive me for jumping to conclusions. These are especially thoughtful. Would you like to eat these with me? There is a particular hill I think that would make a fine place for a picnic.”

-He does have a gift for you that he crafted himself, but he’d rather give it to you once sitting among the flowers looking out over the beautiful scenery. 

Pandreo 

-Pandreo would take the chocolate and immediately start praying for thanks that you would give him a beautiful gift like this. 

“Bless you, [Y/N]. May your kindness be returned to you ten-fold.”

-He of course invites you to his Valentines party in return. Normally he would go around to other people, but even in the crowd, his attention never leaves you. 

“I can’t wait to party with you till the sun comes up, [Y/N].” 

-During the party, he sings you a song that he wrote specifically for you.

Characters: Alcryst, M!Alear, and Gregory.

Alcryst

First of all, he's very shy and nervous as we all know he'd always say things like. "You can do better than me." WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT ALL!! Give this boy all the affection, love, and reassurance because he deserves it!

I feel like it would be a while before he started calling you any nicknames. However, when he does I can see him calling you princess, darling, my angel, and my love.

Of course, you call him nicknames as well such as my prince, darling, handsome man, prince charming, and Sir-Loves-A-Lot.

I feel like Alcyrst would be nervous before and even after you officially have a relationship with him. Citrinne and Lapis are his wingmen or wingwomen in this case. They both love and support you both and want nothing more than to see Alcyrst happy. :)

Alcyrst just loves to cuddle with you although he might be too shy to ask for cuddles. He wouldn't bring it up, especially at the start of your relationship and instead would wait for you to mention it. But when he gets more comfortable except to cuddle this boy a lot!

M!Alear

I mentioned cuddling with Alcyrst but with Alear? You might as well be cuddling this boy all day! It's like you mind tho you love cuddling up to your sleepy dragon prince!

Of course, you know this boy's love for animals knows no bounds! After every battle, he'll look around the area to bring back any animals to the Sommiel. This can range from Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, and even Sheep!

You would also be one of the lucky ones to revive an Emblem Ring from Alear! (Whoever that Emblem Ring is up to you!) Alear knows even in battle if he can't protect you the Emblem Ring will.

Of course, since you're in a relationship with Alear that means you also know Sommie! Of course, when you first met Alear you noticed how Sommie followed him around. You found it to be completely and utterly adorable! Of course when Sommie warmed up he'd also follow you around!

Of course, you know how kind Alear is he's the sweetest boy you've ever met! Maybe even too kind can't let people take advantage of his kindness. So just like how he protects you in return you protect him as well!

Gregory

Of course just like Alear and Alcryst Gregory also loves cuddles! Of course, Gregory loves things that are soft and cuddly. So expect to be surrounded by a bunch of plushies while you cuddle!

I feel like Alear Gregory would also like animals. Dogs, rabbits, and sheep are all animals I think he would like. It's a good thing Alear brings back so many animals to the Sommiel. It means animals are never too far away and of course, he loves to hold and cuddle Sommie!

Gregory can be somewhat time and shy especially when first meeting him. However when getting to know him more it's like he's a different person! It makes you happy to see him this way as it shows how much he trusts you.

Of course, you know how much Gregory dislikes pain. It's understandable as no one likes to get hurt. So in battle, you're at his side ready to protect him from danger! Of course, he'll do the same Gregory hates getting hurt but hates it even more when others he cares about get hurt.

Having known Gregory for a while you knew he had a real talent for making outfits! Of course, you would be more than willing to try out any outfits he made. Of course, he'd also make outfits just for you! <3

Notes: This one is kinda short sfkljfd but. Alcryst is def my fav from engage... I care he so much.

“You know I adore you, right?” You sighed contentedly, snuggling closer to the man who held you with trembling arms. You opened one eye to peer at his face, to find poor Alcryst had his eyes tightly shut. “Alcryst?”

“S-sorry.” Often his first word when he says anything, so you aren’t surprised. “I’m just… trying not to ruin this for you. But I’m so nervous…” He peeks open an eye on his own, gasping softly as he sees you looking up at him in his arms. “I-I know you like laying with me… but I’m afraid if I move or speak I’ll mess up.” He explains hastily.

“How can you possibly mess up cuddling?” You ask with a giggle. “I’d be more impressed if you managed to do that.” You added.

“Oh, _____.” Alcryst sighed softly. “You just make me so happy. I want you to feel as loved as you make me feel but I can’t help but wonder… why me?”

“Why you?” You gasp at him. “Alcryst, please. It’s only ever been you.” You add in softly. “I feel so… safe with you. You make me laugh and smile and even now, just relaxing in your arms… I feel so giddy and happy and secure and loved.” You sigh and lean in, kissing his cheek. But you stay close to him, lowering your voice before speaking again. “I just found myself loving you before I knew any different.” You whispered.

“But… someone like you with someone like me?” Alcryst lowers his voice as well, his forehead resting atop your head. “It makes no sense…”

“Makes perfect sense. As long as we love one another, what is there to question?” You ask him.

“I…” He stops himself. “You’re right, huh? As long as we love one another…” He leads off.

“There you go!” You laugh softly, adjusting softly. “I know it’s just in you to worry… but always remember I love you. I love you so much.”

“I love you too.” You can feel the way his lips turn into a smile atop your head. A moment later, you can feel him pressing a kiss atop your head as well. “You make it easier to relax… I feel like with you, it will all be okay.”

“I’m glad.” You giggle softly. “You inspire that same kind of confidence in me, you know?” You yawn gently after your words, but continue to speak. “I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without you by my side.”

“I doubt that.” Alcryst frowns softly. “You shine so bright, that’s what drew me in. I thought, if I could have a little bit of your light that maybe…”

“Maybe what?” You move so you can look to his face, eyes wide.

“Maybe I could be just as dazzling.” He sighes and shakes his head. “It’s kind of silly thinking back but… I can’t help but feel I’ve grown as a person, being with you. Even if I’m not as bright as you… I think I’m still shining.”

“Alcryst…” You smile softly, glad to hear him praising himself. “You’re brilliant, you know that? I’m glad I could be there to take you higher.” You sigh in content once more, cuddling closer to him and closing your eyes. “No more contemplation though, okay? Let’s get some rest.”

“Of course.” He moves gently, as not to disturb you, but holds you just as close. “Rest well, beloved.” Your chest tingles as he says the words.

“You too, my love.” You can’t help but smile. This glee might keep you up a while longer but it was worth it, knowing Alcryst felt a little more comfortable as himself.

This fe dlc is giving me some much needed drama and angst😅. Imagine accidentally being separated from Alear and everyone else and running into the other alcryst. Turns out, the you of this world and alcryst got into an argument and you died during the war before you could both make up. So seeing you again, he vows to do all he can to keep you close, even if he must kill that wimp of lookalike claiming to be him. Sorry! I'm in a really angsty mood right now

Ahhh don´t apologize, I´m really eating up all these thoughts because they´re delicious ones indeed! The drama and angst is killing me but that´s why I love it!

I really do want to write something like that sometime in the future, you can´t expect the yandere writer to not jump at the chance when I´m handed an alternate universe evil self of a pathtetic babygirl.

God I can just imagine it, you being lost and confused in a familiar and yet different world, when you come upon what should be a familiar face. The person in front of you looks just like your dear lover Alcryst but you can immediately tell that they´re not who they seem to be.

And yet, his reaction upon seeing you is instant. He´s shocked and confused. He thought you were dead! He never had a chance to make it up to you and he has been grieving over you ever since.

So to now see you standing right in front of him? You can´t possibly expect Alcryst to let go of you. He had already done that once before and it absolutely broke him. He refuses to go through the same feeling of loss once more.

You can try to explain yourself as much as you like but he simply doesn´t care that you´re already dating someone else, a different version of him no less. So what?

That person that dares to stand by your side is so weak. Evil Alcryst would not hesitate at all to simply get rid of this other version of himself. He has waited long enough, all he cares about now is spending the rest of his life with you.

when you stumbled upon his hiding spot Alcryst couldn't stop himself from screaming. he was very rightly startled, and you seemed confused at his startled scream.

reaching out for him Alcryst did his best to curl up into himself, but nothing happened other than a quick tap against his arm and hearing you say.

and with that, you darted away from him, with a smile on your face, arms stretched out as if you could somehow fly away into the sky. all while alcryst watched the distance between the two of you grow.

to see you standing amongst those who newly joined the ranks of Brodia's army did something to his heart. you standing there, in the army's coat of arms, a smile on your face, shoulder to shoulder with the soldiers painting a wonderful picture of merriment that made his face feel warm.

"do you see someone you know?" his father's voice pulls Alcryst out of his thoughts, he can feel how his face flushed at the question.

They hate manual labor, love frilly and poofy dresses and use looking cute to get what they want/get out of doing their duties, they're very verbally affectionate though and make sure to properly thank people who help them

Griss

-Griss doesn't really understand you sometimes.

-He loves when you give him tasks to do. Though they might not be as enjoyable if he isn't getting hurt during them, he loves that you are super appreciative of him. He feels useful and that

-However, the praise, that confuses him. No one has ever really expressed their love for him. It almost doesn't make sense that you would say such kind words. Sometimes it even unnerves him, but he does take the words to heart.

-Jealously is obviouly a problem when you give anyone a task that he feels he should be doing for you. Even the most menial task should be is honor and duty. He feels that any strife from doing said task should be his and his alone. However, he does see merit in sharing pain so if the person you ask will be very miserable doing the task then he will approve.

-He absolutely admires how conniving you can be. He really respects that.

-The frilly and poofy dresses make him laugh for the most part. He kind of wishes you'd wear something more normal sometimes. Though his definition of "normal" is something more like Zephia's outfit or his own.

Alcryst

-Alcryst would absolutely be willing to do anything you told him to do. No matter how trivial or how much you should be doing it yourself. There is no need for you to convince him, in fact he feels that he should be apologizing for not knowing what you needed before you said it.

-Though he is a prince, he really doesn't understand why you would pick him over anyone else. In his head, he doesn't really feel all that special, especially compared to his brother.

-However, he is really happy that in spite of everything you would pick him.

-Sometimes he might be confused on your preconceived notion that how you want to be treated is exactly how the royals are treated.

-He thinks that your outfits are quite unpractical for battle, but he does think you are very pretty in them!

-When you start praising him, his whole face gets flustered. He tries to deny all the things you say, but he is so honored that you think so highly of him. He is also worried that he will let you down, and you'd stop praising him. There is just no winning on that front with him.

He is sooooo good!! This man needs a hug!!!

-As a ball of anxiety, Alcryst has a bit of trouble sleeping in general. He often lies awake thinking about the day and all the things he has wished he had done or said differently.

-He is a totally silent sleeper. Its almost like his fear of being a bother to anyone translates to even when he is asleep.

-Which is why when you ask to cuddle him and take a nap, he doesn't know what to do! He has to go through his normal

-You will probably have to tell him he is doing a good job cuddling and then just fall asleep before him before he will even think about relaxing.

-A kiss on his head or cheek while intertwined will get him so flustered that might try to squirm away to hide his blushing face.

-He needs to be the little spoon or huddled into your chest to really be comfortable and go to sleep.

-Obviously if you ever give Diamant a casual hug, Alcryst might feel as if you'll never want to touch him again because he thinks his hugs would never compare. Obviously, you will just have to reassure him that he doesn't need to compare himself to his brother.

-If anyone asks him, he thinks you are the best cuddler in the world.

Playing the engage dlc and my god I'm going crazy over Evil Alcryst. I knew this would happen but my brain is still positively rotting

Makes me think of a what if scenario where reader, who is normal Alcryst's s/o, got brought along into the fell demon world. And evil Alcryst I that world is also in love with the reader, though he has slowly been getting obsessed with them because the one in his world did not reciprocate his feelings.

And now he comes face to face with a different "him" that is so weak and pathetic, but still managed to win over your affection somehow. You're standing right by his side. Why can't you do that with him? What does he need to do so you're all his??

He obviously wouldn't hesitate to kill his other self right then and there and steal you away from him
