Es el mayor de 5 hermanos y hermanas, frutos del esfuerzo de una familia proveniente de un pueblo perdido entre las montañas imponentes de los Andes, hijos e hijas de la tierra, el desierto, las estrellas y la Virgen. Aunque, a sus 27 años el fervor de su fe flaquea ante los obstáculos que, a su juicio, poco se condicen con la misericordia del Dios que alguna vez creyó conocer, sigue encomendandose ante la figura de esta Madre en aquellos momentos de necesidad. Una Madre que representa a la propia y a su abuela, y que incluso en la distancia lo acompaña en la forma de una pequeña medalla de oro colgada de su cuello, tan importante para él como su propia familia.

Su camino con el arte comenzó esculpiendo. Una tarde, esperando el furgón que se supone lo llevaría, junto a sus hermanos y hermanas, de vuelta a las montañas, vio a un hombre recoger un poco de tierra y, agregándole agua, crear una especie de pasta que iba transformando con sus manos. Y Ángel, siempre tan sociable, no dudó en acercarse para averiguar más. A partir de entonces, en solo un par de meses y ante las miradas reprobatorias de su madre y abuela, que entendían que este nuevo interés podría significar, en el peor de los casos, también la pérdida de sus tradiciones, y en el mejor de los casos, sólo de la energía y vigor de uno de los muchachos, cambió la venta de hortalizas por la de pequeñas figuritas. A medida que fue desarrollándose, también lo empezó a hacer su arte. Por cosas de la vida, y por su propio ímpetu, se encontró a sí mismo luego de unos años viviendo en un pueblo turístico a un par de horas de distancia de su familia. Comenzó vendiendo pequeñas postales de los paisajes que tanto le llamaban la atención a las decenas de gringos que día a día recorrían sus calles. Por el día, retrataba escenas cotidianas, calles, casas e iglesias típicas, ocasionalmente también animales de la zona en montañas, lagos y salares reales e imaginados. Y por la noche, intentaba vivir sus sueños, en la medida de lo posible, como recepcionista de un pub en la zona bohemia del pueblo. 

En general, para los niños y las niñas de su pueblo, las opciones al volverse adulto son casi tan limitadas como las carreteras que los conectan con otras localidades. Por supuesto que existen y están ahí, pero sus caminos de tierra y curvas pronunciadas en medio del altiplano hacen que navegarlas no sea comparable ni de cerca con una moderna autopista en los valles centrales del país. Por este mismo motivo, es que el primero de sus hermanos en probar suerte yendo a la ciudad no fue él, sino Miguel, quien le seguía en edad. Miguel, siempre curioso, decidió que el infinito del desierto no era suficiente para contener sus ganas de saber y de entender, y se fue de casa con un par de mochilas al hombro, y de la mano de su mejor amigo, Ángel. Aunque diametralmente opuestos, ambos siempre fueron dos caras de la misma moneda, en sintonía de maneras diferentes. Miguel, la mente de las operaciones, y Ángel el corazón que las llevaba a cabo.

El cambio, por supuesto, no fue fácil. Pasar de vivir en una casita de adobe en medio de un gran terreno tan lleno de hortalizas, como de animales, como de la vida misma que entregaban los Ururi con sus distintas travesuras, a una pequeña habitación en la pensión de una antigua conocida de su padre fue… curioso, por lo bajo. Lo bueno es que solo les tomó un par de años habituarse, quizá no del todo, pero lo suficiente como para poder pasar de ese lugar a un departamento para los dos. No era la gran cosa, para lamento de Ángel, que siempre había tenido grandes sueños de grandes salones en la gran ciudad, pero les servía. Era funcional. Era cómodo. Y era, aunque no en las escrituras y quizá sólo de forma temporal, de ambos.

Miguel tendía a recluirse, tímido, su único gran amor conocido por Ángel habían sido, desde que tenía memoria, los libros. Su abuela siempre lo felicitaba por lo quitadito de bulla, porque Miguel no daba problemas, porque apenas y se notaba. A veces, incluso, era como si no estuviera ahí. Por lo tanto, cuando aquel domingo por la mañana Ángel se escabulló por la puerta de entrada del departamento intentando no hacer ruido, de la mano de otro desconocido de fin de semana –algo, al parecer, costumbre ya en estas alturas–, y no vio ni escuchó a su hermano, no se extrañó para nada. Tampoco se extrañó cuando, a las 3 de la tarde, y despertado por el hambre que sólo provoca una noche de estas características, no lo sintió ni en la cocina. En su mente las explicaciones eran varias, en su mente Miguel estaba caminando por alguno de los senderos en el cerro, o buscando material en una biblioteca alejada del centro, o trabajando en algún barrio entrevistando a alguna señora para alguna de sus investigaciones… En su mente, la idea de que su hermano se podría haber perdido sin dejar rastro no era una posibilidad.

Winter Hollis, our George Sear, is looking for their exes!

They’re a witch/utp, and are said to look like Michael Cimino, Joe Locke, Justice Smith, Lorenzo Zurzolo, Mason Gooding. You do have to contact Christian @copernicusxgalileo before applying!

So these are three different roles. The first is Winter’s ex-boyfriend.  They were together for awhile, and things were going well, but Winter thought he was cheating and then cheated on him in turn. But his boyfriend wasn’t, and when he found out, he dumped Winter, who then tried to do a forgetting spell on him that backfired. Now Winter doesn’t remember doing that, and his ex is the only one who knows.  This character has to be a witch. The next is the guy Winter cheated on his boyfriend with.  It can be anyone - someone who knew that Winter was in a relationship, someone who didn’t know, someone who genuinely liked him, someone who just wanted sex, someone who may or may not still be interested. We can talk about this part of it. And the last character is the guy Winter thought his ex was cheating with. It was just a friend, but I think it could be a really interesting dynamic having Winter and this guy somehow encountering each other and trying to deal with the repercussions of everything that happened. Both of these characters can be either witches or humans.

it's not a coincidence i chose yeji for andromeda and hyunjin for sirius (if u don't know, these two are by no means related in real life but they look so much alike and they even share the same last name, so they could be lost siblings). i do think that andy and sirius looked alike and that's what made them even more fond of each other, the fcs were sent by the gods themselves
