the way JD25 is the everyone’s here of JD games (which while I’m VERY annoyed with them reusing coaches I know it’s likely because they lost a lot of their budget. So I won’t whine too much).

It feels like I’m sitting at the airport holding a sign waiting for my favorite coaches to get off of a plane. Currently waiting for the sacrifice coaches and the Y2K coaches. Because they’re my faves. Sacrifice coaches for storytelling potential and Y2K coaches bc they look pretty. Also I’m An Albatraoz bc I want that plot with Tyler and Lauren resolved soon.

now to come up with some funny airport signs

I wouldn’t say, personally, that I’m annoyed with them reusing coaches because I enjoy when older maps/coaches get a revamp (like Toxic)

and, like, you all have widely different opinions, and i think it's beautiful (i saw someone having a breakdown due to choso's death, someone hoping that something good will happen soon -related to the recent leaks, etc), and i'm here vibing, thinking that if you were all put in the same room, something would happen

i hope that gojo isn't alive or anything, because, damn, we're not in one piece, when someone's dead, someone's dead

like, i like choso a lot, but it was obvious he was going to die, like a good amount of characters in jjk (i'm still a nobara-is-alive believer tho, maybe my worst belief yet)

like, people dying without achieving their life goals is something big in jjk and all, so the "they still had things to do, they didn't deserve to die!" people, i feel them, but that's what you learn about their death

lol yeah, the fandom in general is sure a sight to behold right now 😆 although usually people tend to be more civilized in person. I mean, here we're all on our own blogs ranting into the (quite busy) void, so of course you wouldn't say all of that to a person directly.

Same on Gojo's death. Despite all the possession and reincarnation going around, usually people stay dead when they die. Sukuna & Co. reincarnated, but they are new characters to us, we didn't witness their death and were emotionally invested in it. Naoya also returned as a cursed spirit, but he didn't last that long. The only one who really came back from the dead was Yuuji and he paid a heavy price for that.

And I think Gojo's death was actually good, the problem with it was the lack of exploration of Gojo's character post-unboxing that would make the message of ch 236 more fitting. But he was satisfied with what happened, so I don't see him coming back on his own. Would cheapen the whole scene in the airport. Speaking as a Kenjaku fan, sometimes your faves die and you gotta accept that. Even if it wasn't quite satisfying, better that than the plot bending around this character to bring them back.

Hobie's an ipad baby!! 🤣 Like he's so used to moving around that he's the kind of guy who walks along the aisles and bouncing his leg until he gets his mind stimulated, give him an ipad (he hates them btw) and after you play his fave movie he's occupied for a while until he gets jittery again. The only thing keeping him sane is you with your knees touching and holding his hand the entire time.

Also the guaranteed thing that would keep him still is you sleeping on his shoulder, he won't move an inch like a cat has fallen asleep on him. He'd eventually sleep and before he knows it you've landed at your destination. He'd be complaining while grabbing the bags overhead saying "we should've just web swing next time" and you go "even over ocean water?? Like how?"

I have a big Ask about becoming drained by the kpop life (Anon added a lol, btw). I thought I would put excerpts here and respond. The Anon is aiming this at all fandoms.

there seems to be this constant wave of complaints, entitlement and overreacting to every damn thing. Either it's a conspiracy and the company their fave group works at is trying to sabotage their faves or complaining that the company is over working their faves not taking into consideration what that artist is capable of being able to handle or discussions they may have had with their agency, overreacting that their fave isn't being treated equally, counting how many lines their fave gets, how much camera time, if their fave is sick or hurts their ankle, back, finger, leg, hand, arm, it's catastrophic and they act like it's RIP city and people are crying and talking about how scared they are, if two members get along and like to spend a lot of time together then that automatically means they're crushing on each other or in s secret relationship.

And:

The misogynists, the homophobics, the akgaes, the sexists, the ageists, the constant mobbing at the airports, the having fits about their faves dating or getting married and still plotting shit against those who dare live their lives just like everybody else on the planet deserves to do. All of it, I just don't want to see it. And as much as I have muted and unfollowed and blocked, the shit still gets through. I want to stay up to date on what my favorites are doing but I don't want to see the stupid shit. Those of you who have managed to not be exposed, mad props, but it hasn't worked for me. I need some advice because I am worn out by fans, not the kpop groups themselves

First, I don't believe the people who I see commenting and Ask-ing etc who say "wow I don't get how you see all this stuff wow I never see it." These people are either liars who want to make you feel crazy (gaslighters, lol) or they're only going on Tumblr and just got here so they haven't seen it yet. YET.

All fandom experiences have pieces of what you describe Anon, but it's Kpop fandoms that are the most extreme. And this is because it's driven by teens and mostly young girls. As much as people want to be the exception to the rule, the majority of people in these fandoms are still kids (up to 25 yrs old). Beyond kids, you have a lot of people of different ages with unhealthy fixations. I mean, how many "army" have you met who say their only happiness is BTS? I don't at all judge those people, but we have to be honest in saying that's not in the realm of healthy mindsets. When you put your happiness in people you don't know, that's a huge gamble.

A lot of people are fixated with online fandom community because they're filling in a void in their life; it can be a hobby (probably reasonably healthy) or it can be the person's reason to keep going. That's why you see such extreme reactions. When you're 12, everything is the end of the world. When your entire life is Baekhyun, his sore throat is gonna be the height of anxiety to you. Again, I'm not judging this; different strokes for different folks.

So what advice can I give you? Perhaps just to understand why it's happening and take breaks from it when it's not adding to your life. I mute people a lot. Basically, I put them in time-out. Even on DM too (oops secret's out!). If someone is crying about something I find infantalizing and a detriment to my life, I close it off and move on; I come back when/if I have time for that. I tend to unmute people when I can't remember what they did that was annoying. It works well. I can always re-mute. And this saves the block drama.

The easiest fix tho? Close Twitter, Tumblr, IG, etc and do something different. Watch a movie. Go out with friends. Or, watch a concert to remind you why you're really here. My "fangirling" is mostly in private, where I get to watch Taemin and SHINee concerts whenever I feel like it, by myself or with family and friends, and the only person whose opinion matters in mine.

Recently I watched SHINee World IV with my mom. She adored Jonghyun. Just gotta say that. ;)

i was working on some art today and i thought i would throw on an episode of MASH that i "don't really feel much about" so i went with goodbye radar part 1 (sorry if that's like, your fave episode) BUT as i was watching it a few things occurred to me

im not proud of this but radar in his uniform doing that thing where he acts tough is kind of [eyes emoji]

im also not proud of this, but my shipping goggles slipped from their place on my forehead and fell over my eyes during the scene where radar and 'his gal' say goodbye at the airport. they're out of time and about to be separated by an ocean, but they have a genuine connection and are instantly attracted to one another and don't want to lose that. so when they realize they actually don't live that far apart, he says"let's find each other when we get back home" and she says "i promise" and then they have the most painfully brief of kisses and he boards the plane and goes. it's a good scene and the acting is solid and that's why i prefaced this with 'i'm also not proud of this' because i was taken out completely by how well i thought the dialogue would've fit trapper and hawkeye. who are are mere 250-or-so miles apart in the states. ugh.

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas)

MASH goes to Twin Peaks!!! I will write it someday, it's just going to take a long time, because I want it to be plotty and I struggle with that. I've never wanted to write a crossover before, but I've been excited about the possibility of doing this one for a long time.

Dreams and Follies and even Trick or Treatment give themselves over to a Twin-Peaks-ing of things. Dreams especially I mean... DREAMS. To say nothing of the Trapper/Hawkeye, Dale/Harry parallels... so much there.

10. What work was the quickest to write?

i banged out basically all of my shorter drabbles in one sitting with minimal looking back, so probably one of those 🤣 but five minutes and love the way you wear that also came out super quickly! i actually wrote five minutes entirely on a plane/in an airport so..... lmfaoooo

11. What work took you the longest to write?

well the obvious answer is LDOMLT 😵‍💫 i plotted the thing back in april (april!!) and i cannot manage to post more than one chapter a month just because of how much concentrated effort it takes to put each part together. i think only @haliiimede and @monimonimoon know how much i stress about every little thing down to.... quite literally the tiniest details that probably none of y'all care about 💀 but i'm a PERFECTIONIST 🔪

the other longest-in-progress work i have is still not fucking written sfhidurgkjfg but i have had a taehyung strangers to lovers oneshot set in nyc outlined since fucking MAY 👹 ..... my goal is to write it and post it (belatedly) for his birthday so 🥺 look for it in like... january ???

yes, this black and white disembodied still life of yoongi's hands (THE RINGS) is one of my favorite pictures of his hands, ever. it's the perfect accent of the jewelry (THE RINGS DAMMIT) the veins, the mic placement. this is erotic photography and no one better tell Bang PD.

once again, the accessories make the shot. this flower ring is such an unusual choice for a man like yoongi and yet somehow fits the aesthetic perfectly, don't you think? there's even something a bit sexy about the bandaid on his thumbs (a nail-biting incident? perhaps)

i promise you, there is a hand in this pic. i'll just give you a minute to find it.

ngl i just was both wishing someone would ask me this and praying no one would, bc even tho i think i prefer pran’s style personally, pat’s clothes just have such personality, they’re so much fun it’s so hard to choose. which is why im glad you asked shirts specifically bc my fave pat outfits are usually either 1) he just looks rlly hot or 2) he has on an awesome shirt, so here we go. i went for a two two split on novelty tshirts and hawaiian shirts and then threw in a wild card at the end lol

5. ep 1 lucky shirt- i told myself i wasn’t going to go off emotional connections for this but i just couldn’t help it. this shirt being in the pilot trailer just makes it so personal to me, like i remember watching the first ep and being like omg it’s the shirt, and that’s when it hit me that bad buddy was finally finally happening. but apart from that I love how baggy it is and with the shorts, how much of a child like feel it gives, bc as much as clothes can tell a story, going from this childish lounge vibe ep 1 to some of the fits he wears in ep 12 shows so much growth, it makes him feel so much more grown up at the end and i love that

4. ep 6 beach chat shirt - this kinda feels like a cheat bc it’s not exactly the shirt that caught my eye in this scene, it’s just that he looks rlly fucking hot, like for me this is one of the scenes where he looks the most breathtaking. but apart from me being a hoe, I still adore this shirt, esp the pops of orange. i love how the speak to the story as well, with these orange flowers blossoming against the beach background just as something is finally blossoming between him and pran

3. ep 3 tim hortons tshirt - i don’t rlly have any deep reasons for this one, i just rlly like the shirt, how fun it is, the writing on the back, the giant ass cookie on it, it’s just so random in the most pat way. and i know we’re supposed to be talking about shirts but these ripped lil demin shorts are one of my favorite pat staples, plus his flip flops it’s just so quintessential pat i adore it

2. ep 12 sending pran to the airport shirt - this is my wildcard, bc i just rlly like this shirt. the blue is such a good colour on him and the lil splashes of other colours are so fun but in a subtle way. his looks in ep 12 to me feel like he’s picked up on some of pran’s more understated stylings, swapping from his random tshirts and funky hawaiians to something more minimalist and grown up, but i love how this feels like a mid point between the two, so neatly styled and crisp looking but with these fun pops that are so pat i just… he looks so good here. i don’t know pran got on that plane

1. ep 5 fight scene shirt - again, like for my pran picks, who’s surprised. this shirt is an icon. it started a beautiful trend of pat getting feral in hawaiian shirts and for that i will be forever grateful. and like the other hawaiian shirt i love the pops of colour here for the pineapples, im sure @dribs-and-drabbles could tell you something wonderful about what these pops of yellow represent but i can’t say anything intelligent here bc im just too enamored with this entire fit

i would do some final shoutouts but honestly pat has too many awesome novelty tees and hawaiian shirts to list, his wardrobe is a serious point of envy. so ill shout out some personal faves that i feel are less talked about which are the ep 8 stripey polo he wears to bring pran breakfast in bed bc my headcanon is it’s pran’s shirt bc the stripes and interesting collar with contrast lining just speak to his styling so much, and the rainbow tie dye shirt at the end of ep 6 bc what other way to celebrate the gay awakening a finger lick can give you than a shirt that fucking loud. he looks fresh out a pride parade and i love it for him
