Hello I am hoping you or one of your followers can help me. I've tried googling the answer but I am only given the same picture or articles that only use the same picture while talking about the matter.

What the fuck does the city of Petra actually look like? I realized I've only ever seen that one picture of the facade and the treasure urn on top. But never a city. Is the city inside? It seems to be in a narrow path. Is the favade an entrance and there is a valley on the other side?

I don't know why I'm having trouble with my google searches on this matter but I'm guessing its got something to do with their algorithm.

The city itself hasn't been inhabited for thousands of years, so you're not gonna find much beyond ruins.

talking about Raiden's story quest + the 2.1 archon quest

Ngl but I actually really like her character? I know it's incredibly different from what we first saw with her, but I really like her almost childlike wonder-

It makes sense for her to be reacting all this way after being holed up in her plane for centuries and, while it doesn't excuse her actions, it paints her on a believable light.

I know that it's not something very popular with others, many because she's been made into a "good guy", but its also good to remember that all of the Archons have had similar times like what we have experienced with the Raiden Shogun, whether it be past or present. This is also somewhat of an attempt made by her to really embrace the changes that have happened and if she were to have the personality she's exhibited as the Shogun, I don't see a believable conclusion that results in her accepting change as a a reality.

The Shogun represents her own stuck views from a time long ago when she was hurt and mourning and utterly lost on what to do. But Ei herself isn't the Shogun. This really lets us see her as a character apart from the favade that she's been living under in fear of change and in fear of eternity. Especially because we know now that the Raiden Shogun was originally not one, but two people.

Going back—her story quest and the reveal of her true thoughts and nature really allow for her to make the transition into the aforementioned changes and also close up her story quite well!

That being said, there always are imperfections, those are without a doubt. But in the sense of moving the narrative of the story forward and such, I'm rather satisfied.

Reference P1, P2, P3, P5 & P6 Continuing the story of the development of my current project..... Once I recalled the Palace of the Winds (a favade for women to sit behind) I became fascinated by the beautifully carved stone windows -jali - and started to test our different ways that I could incorporate a lattice work screen as the boundary or restriction that would be included in my work. The facade seemed to be an extreme form of restricting women and keeping them hidden. I particularly liked the photo that I’ve included in this post of people being viewed through a screen. I looked at the different patterns used at different times particularly those used during the Moghul empire (1526-1857) in India during which the Moghul rulers used the skills developed by the Hindu stone carvers combined with geometric Islamic designs. One of the first ways I explored creating a facade was using the laser cutter on different materials - papers, fabrics and plywood. To do this I worked with Martin learning to adjust an image in adobe photoshop and illustrator and then setting up the laser. I found that I was able to slightly distort an image to create a less defined geometric image which I liked. I also found that I liked the burnt effect achieved on one sauce of the paper or wood (not on the fabrics).
