okay so for jewelry, i wear a ton of it. i have 4 rings that i always wear (one i got from my trip to salem, so that's one of my favorites), a rose gold hoop in my nose, i've got an industrial bar in one ear and a cartilage hoop on the other. all in all i've got 4 piercings in each ear (i have a pair of rose gold starburst studs, a pair of rose gold virgo constellations, a pair of rose gold hoops, and then 00 gauges that are rose quartz). i also have a necklace i wear that's got a cute lil dagger on it. i would say my favorite piece of jewelry is probably my engagement ring bc it was handmade for me by a local jeweler and has a beautiful emerald stone in the middle 💚

my favorite meal to eat is also my favorite meal to make which is street style tacos, baby. mexican food is my FAV.

and my favorite thing to bake is chocolate chip cookies, but i have a few special ingredients i use that elevate them to a whole other level. i usually make them around the holidays as lil treats. i actually love to bake and usually make my friends and family homemade birthday cakes. :)

2. reading (another obvi) - teen nanami would probably like those very long and complicated fantasy series and perhaps would like crime/thriller novels. But I feel maybe as nanami gets older he likes to read more literary fiction.

1. comic and manga collector - loves seeing his collection grow over the years and loves sharing the stuff he has with his friends for them to enjoy also

I've gotta do some more writing for my fav because I love him so much and he deserves more, just in general. NSFW included, because I would do THINGS to this man and I know some people would too, so Minors DNI.

Big appetite, but he's not picky. He'll eat pretty much anything you give him with little to no hesitation. Trying to do some baking and you're not sure if you added too much sugar? Rice cakes bc you know the drill, 35 cals each yum yum, I usually pair plain rice cakes with greek yogurt and a few of these stevia-sweetened dark chocolate chips!

Diet Arizona Green Tea! Tbh just any diet drinks, but this ones a personal fan fav! 0 cals, as all drinks should be <3

Shirataki noodles! Tons of fiber, only 5 cals, and filling! Make sure to look up a good way to prep them! I usually boil and stir fry them before eating them!

Boiled eggs! 78 cals each, but still super good for you <3

Teas, teas, and more teas! Theres a tea for everything from metabolism speeding to sleep aid, drink some tea!

Greek Yogurt! This isn't a revelation I've figured out by myself ofc but still! 100 cals per cup, and super healthy! Plus its a great substitute in a lot of cooking!!!!

Canaloupe! 19 calories for a WHOLE wedge! A whole medium sized canaloupe is 180 cals!

Pickles! 7 cals each and suuuuper yummy imo <3 cucumbers are also a major safe food of mine I have them almost every day for a snack!

Soup!!!!! Tomato soup has around 80-100 cals for a whole bowl and its so yummy imo!!!!

Casabella peppers! (yall know those little peppers at in-n-out?) 10 cals each, literally any peppers are my favs, but my friends love to go to in-n-out together with me and I always love getting a diet coke and some casabellas to munch on <3

Chicken! Just in general! 120 for a whole chicken breast is the best thing ever <3

Almond milk! I've always been lactose sensitive so I've never genuinely had regular milk, plus almond milk is 30 cals per cup and full of calcium which is super important for hair and nails!

Miso Soup! My dad's made this stuff for me since I was a wee little kid, its just one of my favorite foods, period! When i found out it was only 50 cals per cup I was absolutely THRILLED

Healthy Choice power bowl microwaved meals. Oh my goodness absolute godsend! 170 for a whole DINNER!!!! Super filling, high protein, literally just put it in the microwave and bam omgggg its so nice to have these when I need them <3

Strawberries, Watermelon, blueberries! Oh my! <3

Low cal versions of my favorite meals! I've been experimenting with a bunch of low calorie recipes of different stuff and they've all been great! A quiet birthday party (V x Reader fluff)

"Happy birthday, Wanderer," V woke you up with a kiss and a smile, a soft chuckle escaping him as he watched you yawn and stretch.

"Thanks, V," You mumbled, turning over and pulling the covers up to your chin. "Now lemme go back to sleep..."

"Yes, please!" You replied, a wide grin spreading across your face. Though you were tempted to ask since when did V learn to cook, you decided to let it go and get ready to celebrate your special day.

After eating breakfast, which you most certainly enjoyed, you and V withdrew to the living room to relax. While most would be out goofing off with their friends, having a great, big, extravagant party, you liked to keep things simple; you only wanted to spend your birthday with V.

The two of you were sitting on opposite ends of the couch, books in hand, quietly reading for some time, not a word was exchanged between the two of you for several hours. While this seemed cold, it really wasn't; you two were capapble of just enjoyng each other's company without talking.

Before you knew it, the afternoon had flown by, and now it was time for dinner. Being the loving gentleman he was, V suggested taking you out to dinner at your favorite restaurant, which you readily accepted. At the bustling restaurant, while waiting for your food to arrive, V decided to give you the present he'd gotten for you, all wrapped up in a cute pink box with a glittery bow.

"I'm glad," V laughed, pressing a soft kiss to your lips as soon as you were done jumping up and down and giggling with excitement. At that moment, the waiter came out with your food, prompting the two of you to stop what you were doing, return to your seats, and after thanking the waiter, eat your meals. Once you were done with dinner, you two went home, where V revealed he had Nero and Dante help him bake ane decorate a cake for you. For whatever reason, they decided that the best cake for you was a ridiculously large one with 3 inches of frosting, several large, extremely sugary fondant unicorns, with the words "Happy Birthday" written in what seemed to be strawberry jam that someone had tried to dye purple with food coloring, but failed to mix it properly.

Despite its flaws, it was a beautiful and delicious cake that you enjoyed, mostly because V had poured his heart and soul into making it for you. Though others would say your quite little birthday party had been a bore or a bust, you thought that it could be counted as the best birthday you'd ever had.

OKay so! Since fragile!reader was in a coma for like a really reallyyyy long time, it means Dottore didn’t really have anybody to cook for him. 😭I’m glad we all agree this man probably can’t/couldn’t cook well, so you were the one always cooking his meals before you got sick. And sure ! Maybe you did teach him a few recipes but they won’t taste the same! Or how he wasn’t able to enjoy the sweets you would bake for him before whenever he would stay up working on his experiments in your dorm. I Can just imagine that while you’re in your coma, he probably tries baking/cooking so that when you do wake up from your coma, he can treat you to perhaps some food he made. Would it be burnt? Obviously…but I feel like whenever he does have free time and you’re baking/cooking, he would try to help you instead of Zandy helping you. He probably shoo’s the child away LMAO. Yup yup, do NOT let Dottore cook 😭 It will not go well. The first time you let him cook dinner in the dorm was also the last time. From then you tried to teach him some basics so everything he knows is from you, but even still it's not the best... only the bare minimum. So Zandik had always left the kitchen stuff to you which he had no problem with. He never admitted defeat... but in this particular skill he had to.

But he only realizes the extent of his ineptitude when you're not here anymore. I feel like his lab wouldn't even have a kitchen a first lol he only got it put in since he knows you'll want to cook when you wake up from your coma. And even though he gets it for you he avoids the room like a plague because it somehow reminds him of you cooking in that cramped dorm kitchen from long ago.

Until finally after a long period of time and no signs of you waking up Dottore bites the bullet and tries his hand at your forte. Truthfully he never understand why he wasn't good, he thought of cooking as a sort of experimental procedure, just follow the directions in the cookbook and surely the food would turn out fine, right? Wrong! No matter how much he follows the directions down to the wire it turns out horribly. Even if he wings it, it's much worse. He swore he could hear you laughing and making fun of him... even though you had been asleep for centuries.

UGH YES ZANDIK HELPING YOU 😭 Hey, he may not be able to do all of the actual cooking but he can still slice and cut things up pretty good (he has experience if yk what i mean) which is quite helpful to you since your hands are shaky. You have to comfort bb Zandy that you'll hang with him later before hugging him (he throws the meanest look and sticks his tongue out at Dottore)

It’s hard (in the perspective of agent 1 and 2) to figure out what the Agents like to eat— when ordering food for the communications room, or even just hanging out after missions and way too long shows. Callie would just buy snacks, anything sweet and easy, coffees for all, sweetened a little too much, repeats of her own orders.

The cousins are both keen on getting good foods for everyone, despite the urge between all the agents to appear polite and eat anything in front of them, she notices the things they pick at.

Agent four is easy. Alligator will eat anything, anything as in anything. (Even if it’s not good, even if it’s not edible, she’ll pick up a paper wrapper from the ground and ask: “dare me to eat this?” and if you hadn’t known any better you’d think maybe deep down she wants to enjoy it.) She tends to like hearty, meaty, greasy fried foods, if it looks like you can’t finish it in one go: that’s the food agent four is gnawing on. Marie has been trying to get them to eat better options, because eating junk food and then running around isn’t the best combo, but she (literally) rather puke over the railings then give up fried chicken burgers and beer. She doesn’t like to eat mushrooms or salads (or anything healthy for that matter), but she always finishes her plate. She likes real spicy food, especially spicy chips and chicken.

(Alligator tends to open the mini fridge and drink orange juice straight from the carton. She’s often seen carrying something in her mouth. Says she’s “a growing boy.” )

Captain’s a little easier, too, they’re slightly picky but wholly love to try and eat good options, they’re mostly vegetarian? Just as in they don’t want to eat meats (but are alright with eggs and such in baking, as long as it’s not the focus of their meal.) So if the options are good healthy stuffs, and suit their diet, they’re good. July doesn’t like to complain much, but they ARE picky, they don’t like nuts / most grains / most BREADS, they don’t like most sauces or condiments (like ketchup and Mayo) they don’t like going out to eat much, and in general that don’t like the vague taste that most restaurant or fast foods have over home cooked. They can’t stomach a lot of food and tend to never overeat, except when Callie and Marie try to get them to loosen up by taking them out to eat. (Each time July says “never again. I’m not going. Remember last time?” And somehow still gets sucked into her Friday Outings.) Callie knows to keeps vegetable juice and canned teas in the fridge for July; since beyond water— it’s the only flavored drinks they like. July appreciates the added options left out for them.

July likes black coffee— but then again they like ANY kind of coffee, sweetened or not, they will drink 3 hour old coffee straight from the pot.

Agent 3– NEO 3– is probably the worst of them all, not as in “picky” just as in, “they’re quiet, they don’t talk much if at all, and they always pick at their foods.” They’re the youngest, been through a lot, a little homesick and a little bit stressed ever since their first mission (in ALTERNA. In the NEW INKADIA, with Shank, and Big Man. Grizz, DEEPCUT.) they don’t talk much about it but then again they don’t talk much at all. (This is due to not being fluent in Inklish, and in general are quite nervous and shy.)

Everything that gets put in front of them gets one or two bites out of it, they have a hard time stomaching most foods and usually wind up eating the same few things every day. Rice with any Teriyaki’d meat seems to be a favorite, and it’s the most filling of all the options. Agent 4 is the best at getting them to eat food, it seems that Saint likes to eat sliced fruits, though they don’t like the peel of apples and such.

Saint is often seen eating raw meat, to everyone’s dismay. They like it.

Saint does enjoy soda and cola flavored things. It doesn’t exist outside of Inkling territories, and they always ask for it when asked. (Shank will eat anything, and Shank doesn’t speak Inklish either; but she’s approaching the age where she’s capable of speech, so she can manage “Soda” and “Four.”)

Agent 8 adores all the food that Inklings cook, Octarians (despite the Octolings looking so similar and functioning nearly identical) have extremely different dietary needs. But 8 is wildly eager to see everything that the surface as to offer; eating street food and snacks and going out to try it all. They often get very sick due to the portions and ingredients used in Inkling food being very different to Octarian food, it tends to be much greasier and large, so Agent 8 usually doesn’t feel well after eating, they’re getting used to it, at least.

They get a little homesick, and it seems Salmonid foods are quite similar to Octarian foods, so Saint does like to eat food cooked by Agent 8… it tastes off, but it’s something, Valentine often eats foods like silkworm soup and plain white rice.

8 will take food from your plate without asking.

Fruit is expensive in Octarian Societies, so you can win their heart by buying them fruit desserts. They really love Lime flavors.

Here are some headcanons I have for the two of them: (also please keep in mind these are my headcanons, pls don't claim them as your own lol ty)

o There's playful bantering and teasing between the two of them. I'm pretty sure Geppetto would play pranks on him sometimes lol (e.g., Pinocchio's short so he would place things on shelves just slightly out of reach to irritate him XD). They'd be so mischievous together. They'd be so chaotic lol.

o They are literally inseparable. Literally best friends <3

o I also think Geppetto would spoil him a lot (like with treats, new toys, cooking his favorite meals, etc.). HE CAN'T HELP IT. Pinocchio is his only child and he wants him to have nice things

o They've only ever argued about something ONCE. That's it. And it was prob just something that worried Geppetto (like maybe Pinocchio came home late and was too caught up with his friends or smth). And then they make up (obviously)

o Pinocchio is baby <3 Literally. He's only been alive for a short while and while he may mentally be a 7-year-old, he still sometimes needs to be taken care of like an infant (occasionally helping being fed, tucked into bed, being held and carried, etc.) And Geppetto doesn't even question it he cuz he loves him sm like ohmygoodness

o Pinocchio's still so sweet and innocent but sometimes he will be mischievous. (not in a bad way, in a good way and he means no harm at all. Like, just cute mischief)

o Also have a headcanon that Pinoke's fav candy is saltwater taffy. When he opened his gifts on his first Christmas morning, he opens a package and there's a huge bag of taffy entirely for him. His eyes get so wide and his jaw drops, he stares at it for a minute, then looks at Geppetto (still frozen with that expression) and tries to give it back to him. and geppetto just bursts into laughter cuz his reaction was priceless

o CUDDLES <3 SNUGGLIES HUGGIES DID I MENTION CUDDLES They're so cute ohmygoodness

o Technically, Geppetto made Pinocchio and he basically already belongs to him. But after he became a real boy, Geppetto officially adopted Pinocchio (which was an uncommon thing to do in 1800's Italy), and got him a birth certificate, etc. Cuz he loves him sm he wants him to really belong to him and have his last name and everything (And Pinocchio's official full name now is Pinocchio Joseph Lorenzini) (Cuz "Geppetto" is the Italian form of "Joseph" so technically Pinocchio has his father's name too)

o Geppetto, when he can, reads stories to Pinocchio before he puts him to bed. And he tells the story really dramatically and really gets into it lol And he gives Pinoke warm milk and honey to drink to help him fall asleep <3 (Like just imagine Geppetto reading him a story by the hearth, Pinocchio drinking his warm milk and his little eyes getting heavy and he's nodding off to sleep. AAAHHHHH SO CUTE I CAN'T EVEN)

o Pinocchio knows the power of his cuteness. He CAN and WILL use the "puppy eyes" tactic. And Geppetto (most often) can't say no.

o Tickle fights and showering Pinocchio with affection is a normal occurence. Like Geppetto loves him so much he will legit pepper kisses all over him (and Pinocchio, as much as he tells him to stop, he doesn't mind it at all)

o They love doing things together like snowballs fights, pillow fights, building forts, going out for gelato, playing in the snow, raking leaves in the fall, etc. They are literally best friends <3 And I'm pretty sure they talk about everything too (Like Pinokes would be working on his homework or smth and then he'd randomly be like, "what if you baked cookies with salt instead of sugar?" And Geppetto would just casually answer like "That would taste terrible. who would do that?!?!")

o Geppetto, after Pinocchio became a real boy, started measuring Pinocchio's height and carving markings in the wall. Every few months or so, he will use his tape measure to measure Pinoke's height, then carve a spot into the wall to mark how tall he's grown. (and then cries when he sees his little boy is growing up so fast)

Studyblr re-intro!

Hiya! I'm Mai (she/her) - I created my studyblr years ago to hold myself accountable for being productive and not slacking off with my studying. But I've not touched this account in years now so that's about how well that's gone.

I'm twenty one years old from the UK, and I'm in my second year of an English Literature degree. I can't lie, part of the reason I evaporated off your dashboard is because uni's been really hard. There are more tears, procrastination, breakdowns over the uncertainty of the future, hours scrolled through tiktok, stress meals eaten, and feelings of complete and utter displacement than I think people on studyblr let on. Going forward, I think I'm going to try to be more authentic (cringe sorry) and maybe that'll make me want to post more and in turn (we can only hope) be more productive.

I've also been trying to learn French since Lockdown, but am very much still a beginner (can just about order a meal), so if any langblr people wanna be friends I'm down to follow each other on Duolingo :) I say this but I've not been on Duolingo since the summer.

Cooking and/or baking together, but mainly the latter because I am a fiend for sweets. And then taking the meal somewhere comfortable to watch a film we both like together.

If I had to choose one thing though, I would say my favourite would be to sleep next to the one I love. I don’t know if that would be considered a date activity, seeing how one of the participants would be unconscious.

So for once, nothing angsty, but something more fluffy! ANd its based on food!

So I think, if I remember right anyway, canon Alastor does not like fast food or like food similar to it, and that kind of implies to Radio Guard Alastor too. To a degree tho. He very much would rather cook than have take-out, but also he is not complaining if you wanna give him the egg and spring rolls from the Chinese takeout. It is mainly when he super tired though or had an exhausting day and just has no energy to cook for the gang, since I imagine he may have took over the cooking duties of the hotel.

And now for everyone's favorite types of foods and or flavors of stuff! Alastor-Def prefers more homecooked meals, doesn't matter what, if its homecooked, he will probably enjoy. Does however lean more towards spicy stuff. Man loves spicy dishes, be it a painful spice or a comforting one. Def knows all types of Louisiana cooking and is so happy to share them to others.

Charlie-More on the sweeter side of things. Probably has a love of homecooked food too, mainly like breakfast foods I imagine. But probably also likes fruity stuff too (haha get it because she's the daughter of the Morningstar aka the Devil, the one responsible for Adam and Eve eating the Forbidden Fruit //bonked). Probably loves more baked good spices too? So like cinnamon apple stuff would be her favs

Vaggie-Spice and bitter girlie I imagine personally. She will take her coffee black with a spot of cream or milk while chomping on ghost pepper dusted chips like it was nothing. Can also, for some reason, see Vaggie was a soup girlie. Idk, she gives soup girl vibes. Probably loves spicy veggie soups that just warm you up. Ignoring the fact they are in hell and hell is probably already super hot.

Angel Dust-Def ate like junkie munchie foods. Like cheap, really gross and greasy food. Didn't like it, but it hit the spot. If not that, then super healthier, lean foods, since lets be honest, Valentino would his workers on extreme health diets so they would stay "pretty", so the whiplash of foods probs wrecked Angel's stomach. Now, while trying to go sober and in a safer and healthier environment, Angel def enjoys trying to cook Italian food he remembers his pa or ma making. Would like baking more me thinks

Husk-Bar food. Husk is like Angel, he is eating junkie bar food to use the grease to curve his later hangover. Maybe not as much anymore, but its still there. Alastor does get on him, now more so in a place of concern for Husk's well being. Honestly probs better just making drinks but I can see Husk knowing how to work the kitchen too. Def the type to go to if you have the late night munchies since he knows how to make the most killer late night meals

Nifty-Sugar. Just. Pure. Sugar. She is the type to dump marshmallow fluff on a pizza its that insane. She knows how to cook, sure! And she can cook well with others, yes! Alone in the kitchen? Haha no. Your food is gonna somehow end up in lime jello and taste like you liked the bottom of Willy Wonka's boot. Just dont.

Sir Pentious-Probably doesnt really mind anything. As a snack he def has a more meat based diet which took some time to get used too. Probably likes more mild to bitter foods than anything else. Like the Brit he is, he is def drinking tea with everything. Probs also likes egg based dishes since some snakes do eat eggs. Probably mainly bird eggs, like quill or chicken. So egg bois are safe!

Lucifer-Dont think Luci has a pref. For a good long while it was just whatever he could find in the kitchen after staying locked up in his workshop for days on end. So bowls of dry cereal or pb&js to name a few. It took being forced out of his workshop by Alastor (and seeking therapy by Alastor and Charlie's request yeas later) that Lucifer started to eat more. Like his daughter he loves fruity sweets, and as a given likes pancakes. Probs makes killer cinnamon apple pancakes.

Vox-Probs cheating to say Alastor's cooking, but it is Alastor's cooking. Def has more of a spice tolerance than other Voxs hfdsjkf. Outside of that, probably any more homey foods. Or cheaper stuff like ramen since he never wanted to leave his room at V Towers. Def survived on energy drinks that tasted horribly sweet but kept him going at the tower too. You can imagine his utter joy when at the hotel when he just got to eat proper cooked food again, especially Alastor's

"uhm so traveling is something I think naturally comes to idols like us," she thinks for a few seconds, looking down. "I think it's fun - to explore the world honestly getting to see all of the angels and also exploring new monuments, I personally like traveling... yeah"

"so- I am absolutely, terrible at cooking I mean- like if someone had to ask me to cook I'd probably just order whatever because even by instructions I just- it doesn't turn out right...?" she laughs once more. "I think I always mess up a step which seems impossible humanly but... maybe I'm not human"

mina also ponders for a second, leaning back into the couch as she analyzes the question. "trips and vacations are something that should happen like once or twice a year or else it spoils the fun and new excitement in the trips...?" she squints her eyes. "I like traveling because of course we can see new things but the places we usually travel are places we've seen before so it's not to say it's not fun it's sort of... desensitized? since there's nothing new..."

"I can cook, I've cooked some things and I know bare- bare minimum skills like boiling a pot of water for ramen, rice, pasta in general I think is the easiest but I'm no gourmet chef so you'll never find me baking anything or cooking up a steak or something unless...." she grins at the camera. "unless you're looking for a new friend called salmonella, then I assure you won't be vexed by my cooking"

"absolutely hate it." she shakes her head quickly. " I get sick very easily and I also have the biggest fear of heights so that's a double no. I don't get why people don't like road trips you know, good old classics like the movies" she stares blankly for a second. "speaking of movies, have you guys seen that movie where the guy had this dream about his classmate plane crashing and it did?"

elli claps her hands at the second question. "this question was made for me actually." she dramatically sighs. "so in the house, I'm like some sort of maid actually-" seori hits elli's arm which causes her to laugh. "no but seriously these girls are terrible cooks, except for lyla she has... she has some potential not as much as our queen aka me but she has enough cooking skills to get by. I usually am the one making meals for us in our home, I like to make japchae- which is like sweet and salty glass noodles which is good so I make it for us on special occasions to not spoil the taste of it.

"I only like traveling if it's somewhere warm. seori and I am planning a vacation for the girls to somewhere warm because the sun feels nice on your skin when it isn't scorching of course and also if it gets too hot you have easy access to the water because it's right there in front of you." she laughs a bit. "uh for cold weather, I'm more of someone who likes to stay inside because, it's when you're most comfy inside under your blanket near a fireplace or not I just think it is not a travel time."

" as far as cooking, I grew up as an elder sister to two younger brothers so cooking is something that's sort of mandatory, especially when you need to babysit them a lot so my cooking skills vary, I can cook dinners such as meats, kinds of pasta, baked foods and stuff like that because I'm so used. I really enjoy cooking recipes I find on tiktok. lately, I've been trying new Italian treats and dishes like tiramisu and vegetarian rigatoni for some reason. also strawberry milk tanghulu !"

"traveling, uh yes! I love traveling to very fancy places or very pretty vacation spots. any place that has museums, aquariums, cool monuments. I think my favorite place is... europe maybe?" she draws the word out a bit, thinking for a second. "yeah europe is probably the most beautiful continent in the world. It has the eiffel tower, tower of pisa, you know- notre dame, big ben... wow big ben is so pretty. you know that one tinker bell movie where they go to see big ben, right? so pretty. they also... have the louvre, wow such a beautiful continent."

"you see I'm a big foodie, I love all different kinds of foods and watching food videos like mukbangs and cooking shows I'm just... I don't make the food .. I'm pretty sure if I used the knowledge from the cooking shows i'd be like chef gordon ramsey but I just don't so..."
