After clearing out your pockets, the man begun a frisk search, eyebrow creasing as he ran his hand over your ankle.

"A camera sir? Were you not informed of the protocols here?" The man glared at you, and you were forced to think on your feet.

"Can you blame me? If the rumours I've heard are true, I want to remember this day forever." 

The man seemingly bought your explanation, ushering you to the door.

"Don't pull this stunt again, anyways if you leave a good impression on the boss today, you won't need the pictures." The man rather roughly pushed you into the room, causing you to stumble, seeing a man at the table, eating off the naked form of a busty woman, her vision obscured by a red silk blindfold, and a vibrator jammed in her pussy, her wonton moans filling the halls.

"We'll get to that later. While your reputation speaks for itself, I still need a proof of concept." Aeris reached into a brown folder, throwing it onto the table. As he sipped his wine, he smirked, beckoning you to open the file.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

As of now? 9! (But I have more than 35 fics in progress in my drafts that aren't posted.)

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

129,647! But like, triple that (or more) if you want to count unposted stuff.

Yes!!! I love responding!!! I'm behind horribly right now because of my work's busy season, but I plan to catch back up! It's so fun to get to talk to people about the things I've poured my heart and soul into, you know? And I'm always glad to get to thank the people that took the time to leave a comment! It's a bit hard to keep up sometimes, though.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

"Is it Home Without You?" definitely. I'm still really proud of that fic, and it's part of a series with a happy ending, but the actual oneshot is the immediate aftermath of Gaster's lab accident from Sans's PoV. So, uh. Dead dad that no one but you remembers (not even your little brother) is pretty angsty. It's a step away from the norm for me, since normally I only write things with happy endings. But since this is part of a series that has a happy ending, I suppose my brain allowed me to end it off on a bittersweet (sad and angsty) note.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

This is really hard to say! I like big, happy endings, so most of my stuff gets them! Probably.... Hmmm. Either faux paus or How to Defeat a Human in 6 Easy Steps

8. Do you get hate on fics?

For the most part? No. (And I will always be grateful for the kind people that have picked me back up after I've been shot down in the past.)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

None you'll ever find under this username! I try to keep it family friendly here. ...Welllll, depending on if you count fics that tackle trauma and child murder in them family friendly.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I haven't written any cross fandom crossovers! ...I have, however, been guilty of writing cross fic crossovers (none posted). I like to make my characters from different fics interact with each other. I've also done some crossovers for fun with my friends, making our characters interact. All still Undertale fandom, though! The craziest one is probably "How to Adopt an Interdimensional Traveler" which may be posted at some point. It's a crossover between Heart on the Table, and my How To: series. What, you're telling me Papyrus has TWO children to deal with now? (Here, have the first little bit of that because I love it. And I love Papyrus.)

Step One: Find out their name “FRISK!” Papyrus’s voice was not a shriek. No. He was perfectly composed as he stared down at the… little Frisk in front of him.  The very little Frisk. There was a familiar thumping behind him as… his Frisk crashed down the stairs in their familiar clumsy way. For all the elegance they displayed in battle, that did not tend to follow them home. He partially whirled around to face them, keeping… mini Frisk in his sight at the same time.  “What’s up, Dad?” Mini Frisk made a small noise that may have been confusion as they rapidly looked between him and their larger counterpart. “…Dad?” Oh.  Hm.  Yes.  That was. A thing. Apparently Papyrus had two children now. 

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know! And I sure hope not!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope! That would be cool as heck, though!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

None that are posted! But I like to write with my friends, sometimes.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

Surprisingly! Not Undertale! (Though I do like Alphyne!) Zukka! (Zuko x Sokka, Avatar the Last Airbender) I've loved that ship for years, and even though I'm not really in the AtLA fandom anymore, it still has a very close place in my heart.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Hmmmm. Again, nothing posted. I don't post fics unless they have a first draft completely written to prevent that kind of thing. (Though, I do rewrite stuff, and that can cause pretty big posting delays. But if for some reason I can't find the motivation to finish my rewrites, I could always just slap my first draft up so that it's not completely unfinished before I'd abandon it completely.) Of my fics not posted, though? I've got a fic called "Ghost of You" which is a fated soulmate dusttale!papyrusXreader fic. I hope I can finish it one day, but... well. I'm not sure if I will or not.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Characterization, and internal dialogue, I think! I like to think I'm pretty good at writing a character in such a way that even if you pick just a sentence at random, you know who's head you're in. Or, perhaps my strength is hurt/comfort in general...

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

It used to be dialogue, though I'm working to get better at that! I also struggle sometimes when it comes to making sure that the pace is engaging and that we aren't just stuck in someone's internal thoughts for 5 paragraphs. Gotta break that up with some stuff actually happening!

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Very cool, and a great way to show characters that speak other languages than the one you are in the PoV of!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Well... the fic itself is long gone, but! I wrote for Ouran Highschool Host Club when I was like 12.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE! HOW COULD YOU ASK ME TO CHOOSE BETWEEN MY CHILDREN? MY BABIES! ...Heart on the Table has a special place in my heart though.

If narilamb was a male/female ship, do you think it would be just as popular as it is now? I feel like if it was m/f, more people would dislike it for being ‘toxic.’ Female characters tend to get infantilized more often for some weird reason.

This is kinda sticky bc as of right now I see alot of people treating Lamb as if they are feminine/a woman already. I’m not gonna accuse an entire fandom of being transphobic but I at least see alot of art of lamb with really exaggerated feminine features like big hips, a kind of Disney-animal-character “chest”, pronounced eyelashes, etc.

That wouldn’t be a problem in and of itself but it’s (seemingly) a frequent occurrence. I never seen them depicted in an overtly masculine way in this same manner either so it really raises alarms in my head about how nonbinary people in general are treated as “women-lite” due to the way we seem to demonize expressions of masculinity and especially trans-masculinity around here.

Again, I don’t think anyone intends to be transphobic or transandrophic when they do this- I just want to ask why this particular depiction is as common as it is. How many masculine lambs have you seen? I bet it’s not nearly as many.

And while I wouldn’t say the Lamb is “infantilized” or anything people definitely depict them as entirely forgiving, innocent or faux-innocent, naive, and constantly bemused by everything.

The relationship dynamics in narilamb content also portrays Narinder as a stoical, pragmatic, sometimes aggressive force where Lamb is sweet, charming, a bit ignorant or youthful, and willing to put in the work to “redeem” or “change” Narinder. Sometimes lamb is even depicted as “maternal” (barf) or maybe just clannish and familial, while Narinder is aloof- except of course when it’s time to be absurdly and violently jealous.

I hate to have an awkward conversation here because this stuff gets conspiratorial real fast but these are historically m/f relationship beats in romance fiction. We’d all be kidding ourselves if we didn’t recognize that. I mean it’s practically a textbook case of heterosexual romance gender dynamics.

Depicting or rewriting canonically non-binary characters to be cisgendered women is already a huge issue and I’m not surprised that people think they can just… change a characters identity as they like and see no issue there doesn’t shock me (see frisk, chara, or kris from undertale). It makes us all look bad though and we should start seriously unpacking our impulse to do it again and again.

Tl;dr: I hate to be harsh but part of me considers Narilamb to already be m/f as long as the trends of portraying Lamb as “the girl” and Narinder as “the guy” continue

finished undertale yellow. the writing was really really not undertale and more like a pale imitation of it with weird less progressive ideas that undertale pushed. there’s like this misogynistic / orientalist japanese styled character or whatever named ceroba who kind of just doesn’t really fit into the wild western vibe that pervades the story and its kind of like whoever made this character really REALLY wanted to insert whatever weeb stuff in there. no i don’t think kimonos are cultural appropriation leave me alone.

flowey himself in this story is a fine companion because he is very involved in undertale’s story as a companion but he’s that kind of companion that acts as a dickweed edgelord who doesnt really see the value in the friendships whatsoever so he waits to steal all da power, so i think it was a strange choice for them to make flowey do the whole betrayal thing because the story relies on you understanding flowey is doing faux sympathies but even then in the og game flowey’s facade drops extremely quickly and just antagonizes you after u get hit / avoid the bullets. but then undertale yellow’s pacifist route suddenly has flowey never throw a temper tantrum—he just lets it go—and that’s it and i think its dumb because undertale yellow shouldnt even have a pacifist or genocide route. the genocide only happens if the player chooses to in the og game and undertale yellow just puts both routes in there. i personally think the neutral route is the only route, because you still end up in a rock and a hard place; asgore will get you and flowey’s temper tantrum asshole behavior is impossible to escape or whatever.

the big issue here with undertale yellow is that it just narratively does not fit in with the OG undertale. yeah i understand it’s thematic; the underground changes depending on the individual soul color. it is what it is, but none of these characters ever show up . theres no wild west world. theres like, nothing, and i felt sad leaving the game because well, this is a fanmade prequel attempting to depict events that dont need depicting. undertale doesn’t need you to speculate on how the others met their fates—they just didn’t have enough determination to make it through. they had flaws in their souls that made it impossible to reach victory, and the circumstances were not in their favor. but yours are, and that means frisk (you) gets out in a happy ending (or not). its why undertale yellows routes cant *work*; there is no incentive for doing either because they’re both wish fulfillment. the real routes the one where flowey gets hopped up on fent and starts tweaking cus u aren’t playing by his rules. the og game’s neutral route is a sense that it is not the end, because you just have to make a second attempt at befriending everyone, including the 13 yo flower nerd edgelord, who simply runs away from his problems. its why the game opens up more possibilities at friendship and its why undertale yellow emulating this doesn’t really make sense, since it has a beginning and end and sets up frisk landing.

i also am not a fan of most of the oc characters (martlet or whoever need to get smited) but thats just whiny me

I often find myself repeating that one moment in the last part of Paper Trail where we see Toriel in a rare moment actually show some violent devotion to Kris/Frisk after Faux Sans tries rebuking her love. It's a side of Toriel that's seldomly focused on but I love how you displayed Toriel has been through so much that any version of her wouldn't hesitate to go Polar Bear mode for her children. I half expected her to summon chakrams and turn the restaurant into a firepit like Axel from Kingdom Hearts.

(Undertale and KH have some parallels now that I think about it)

Aw thank you! If there's one thing I think about Toriel that remains consistent with her, it's that she is really, really heavily invested in being a good mother. It's both her most endearing trait, and also what causes her the most grief...she'll harm herself, isolate herself, fail to actually understand what her children need, try to paint over real problems, and much more, all for the sake of trying to be the Good Mother. And I think someone testing her on that -suggesting that she's not doing her job right, or that she doesn't really love her kids- is the sort of thing that will just set her off. She's definitely got a lot of power and intimidation, and in defense of her children is the one place where she's not afraid to use those.

(And KH is such a massive story...bound to be some parallels in there!)

Brooklyn - white and grey striped long sleeve shirt, layered with a light yellow short sleeve shirt, tan cotton cardigan, somewhat loose fitting cargo pants (of course not made with animal products), either sneakers or hiking boots (you called it, vegan.) light green striped apron ( I don't fuckin care that canonically the fucking apron is sorta brown)

Jacklyn - Cream striped tank top, pink shorts, with barefooted or wearing sandals, bandana tied around forehead, on top of head, or around neck, pink leather gloves

Amari - White or faux demin collared shirt, blue and green striped sweater, baggy jeans or sweatpants, yellow Converse hi-tops, ribbon tied in a cute bow around collar, friendship bracelets from Lyric and Clover

Undertale and Crow Country: More Alike Than You Think!

A lot of what’s sweeping about Crow Country reminds me of what swept Undertale into massive popularity. Great music, retro but in a way that plays with the source materials, a good story—but most importantly, one with time to breathe.

Like some of Undertale’s most memorable aspects were the way it played with the player in a way unique to video games and RPGs.

Genocide and pacifist routes play with the standard RPG violence that most games never question.

The player chooses to name a character at the beginning who is NOT your player character, but instead a different character altogether, and your player is actually a character in their own right (named Frisk) rather than a character you can project onto/role play as, as would be the norm in a ROLEPLAYing game lol.

(The RPG Disco Elysium was also famous for these kind of meta elements, with the game making it clear (through the narrative device of amnesia) that while you can customize the player character, he is not a blank slate/player insert either! Much like the way someone in real life will still find themselves predisposed to certain traits through nurture/their environment, even if they make their own choices. Read my thoughts here!)

Undertale I remember being considered very retro at its time for being an 8-bit RPG. Particularly memorable is that people clowned on the graphics, which I thought were cute as someone who wasn’t very familiar with video games, but I didn’t realize that the 8-bit stuff wouldn’t be commonplace for most gamers. So yeah, it was considered weirdly retro at the time.

Similarly, Crow Country plays with nostalgia in a way that I’m not familiar with at all. I’m unfamiliar with its influences—unfamiliar with Final Fantasy, unfamiliar with PS1 graphics (except as the new trend that’s been making the rounds as of late). As such, it’s not nostalgic to me beyond being a puzzle game like Undertale and a lot of RPGmaker games were. But yeah, both Undertale and Crow Country bring something new to the table to this nostalgic rehashing.

Undertale mostly with its meta storytelling/themes, though the combat system was unique. And Crow Country in its faux pre-rendered background, mimicking old survival horror games, that acts as an immersive-sim-like interact-able background that would’ve been impossible for its era. The ability to interact with objects you assume are just part of the background is a hugely pleasant surprise in a game like this, rewarding exploration—a key game mechanic. A positive feedback loop.

And like, the nostalgia is HUGE. A lot of the moments reviewers keep referencing are the bits where characters make cute jokes about how it’s weird you need to go through like 5 puzzles just to get a key, referencing in-universe how weird their world is. That’s the type of joke you only get once a genre has established tropes and cliches, aka when a genre has been around long enough to feel nostalgic. Undertale also made similar meta jokes that show a love for the genre it’s in, as does Disco Elysium, and it creates a sense of kinship between the player and the characters and the developers (because it’s an in-joke and a badge of honor).

Finally, the moments to breathe. The game encourages and rewards exploration, and it has story beats and moments that reward slowing down before a big moment and to just feeling what the characters are feeling AND appreciate the experience of this genre of game itself.

With Undertale, it’s the whole “filled with determination” save mechanics and the “you’re still you” mirror scenes.

With Crow Country, it’s Mara’s scene where she appreciates her key items (like a lot of survival horror fans do near the end of play throughs). Mara has her own quiet save room areas, too.

Along with the almost tonally abrupt Undertale lore dump of the echo flower room. A dump would be boring in a different game, but the echo flowers, thanks to its visceral atmosphere, instead feel like the intimacy of a child finding out their family secrets. To achieve this, rather than characters telling you, it’s just flowers echoing you secrets from the past��leaving you the player alone enough to really take in the info (as if you were Frisk) and letting you process it as you will, without any push from other characters. Not frisk (who doesn’t speak), not any other character else, just the player. Alone with these secrets.

Similarly, that scene where Mara is climbing down into the heart of darkness on that ladder. Just an endless view of her going down and getting smaller and darker, like Omori going down the stairs. Oh boy, it’s that same feeling of letting you really process what you’re getting into, of slowing down to feel the visceral emotions and enjoy the experience thanks to its intense atmosphere. But it contains that same heart pumping, introspective feeling of appreciation and excitement that Undertale has with its save points, with none of the dramatic fear that Aomori’s stair scene evokes, because it’s a slow moment to breathe.

Cross-Demographic Appeal

I think under this lens, it makes a lot of sense why Crow Country is on such an "easy" mode despite ostensibly being a survival horror game. I feel like in a lot of ways, it has cross-demographic appeal, specifically connected to Undertale’s more RPG puzzle/newbie/young demographic. Undertale even has that horror level with the creepy amalgamations.

So while Crow Country’s survival horror audience is baffled at its choice to make "easy" mode the default, since the whole point of the genre is stuff like resource management and the adrenaline of trying to survive, an RPG audience is not quite as used to that level of anxiety while playing lol.

It would be forgiving to these undoubtedly beginner players who come for that RPG crossover appeal, who don’t know what to expect and therefore wouldn’t know to go on “easy” mode (if murder mode was set as “normal”). Though maybe this is a bit too coddling XD

Howdy!

Je découvre encore Tumblr, mais je voulais partager un univers Undertale sur lequel je travaille dans mon coin depuis quelques temps. Il s'appelle BadsoulsTale. Dans cet univers, peut importe l'espèce, tout le monde a une âme aussi forte qu'un humain d'Undertale, c'est à dire qu'elle peut survivre après leur mort.

BadsoulsTale est un univers alternatif où les âmes humaines ont tous un trait négatif opposées aux âmes de monstres positives. Ça ne signifie pas que les humains sont le mal et les monstres le bien mais qu’ils puisent leur magie dans un domaine sombre ou clair. Les 7 âmes humaines principales ne sont plus Détermination, Courage, Justice, Gentillesse, Patience, Intégrité et Persévérance car réservés aux monstres mais Vengeance, Égoïsme, Domination, Luxure, Laxisme, Racisme et Passivité.

Avant les évènements du dernier humain tombant dans l'underground, les deux espèces étaient constitués en différentes tribus partout dans le monde et tous se faisaient la guerre. Les monstres ont été les premiers à se rassembler pour désirer un monde de paix, les humains les ont imités car ils voyaient ce rassemblement comme un concentré de menace. Voyant que la paix est impossible avec l'autre espèce, une guerre de 100 ans éclate entre humains et monstres, et se terminent quand ces derniers découvrent l'emplacement du royaume secret des monstres, l'underground, et le scelle sous une puissante barrière puisant dans l'énergie des 7 âmes les plus puissantes de l'époque. Pour la briser, il fallait 7 autres âmes humaines ou la puissance de 7 monstres aux âmes différentes qui ont absorbés des âmes humaines.

Frisk, doté d'une âme de Vengeance, est tombé dans l'underground. Les évènements semblaient commencer comme une route génocide, car l'humain a grandi avec des histoires d'horribles monstres sanguinaires, alors pas de quartier, mannequin, croâpaud et autre passaient de vie à trépas. Cependant, alors que Toriel meurt devant lui, une boule au ventre s'est formé. Ce monstre d'avait rien de sanguinaire, le seul à ce stade de l'histoire pouvait être Asgore qui a déjà tué 6 enfants. C'est Papyrus et sa gentillesse maladroite qui lui montra que les histoires sur les monstres ne sont que des tissus de mensonges. Alors Frisk reset sa route pour obtenir la plus pacifiste possible. Face à Asgore et Flowey, l'humain hésita à les tuer, le premier pour venger les enfants morts, le second car il dépeignait toutes les horreurs de ses histoires. Mais il compris que l'un a énoncé un décret sous le coup de la colère et que le second avait les mêmes préjugé que l'humain à son arrivée ici bas.

Aujourd'hui, cela fait 10 ans que la barrière est brisée. 10 ans que Frisk l'humain est l'ambassadeur des monstres pour tenter dans cet époque d'enfin instaurer un monde de paix. 10 ans que les tentions commencent à peine à se calmer... mais peuvent redevenir un brasier au moindre faux pas.

J'espère que ce résumé de l'univers vous a plu. Je ne sais pas à quel point je serais actif ici, mais j'essaierais d'embellir cet univers avec plus de détails, à commencer par la première âme que j'ai imaginé pour ici.

Summary: Killing people? Easy. It was everything that came after that was so difficult. Cleaning up was a pain, but never as bad as trying to justify why he'd just fallen off the face of the earth for the last 5 hours. Worse even was trying to explain this to his wife roommate. He was lucky she was asleep most of the time when he returned, but this time he comes face to face with his sleepy and still noticeably awake roommate. It's a shame she already knows. or, Sans tries, and fails, to come up with a proper excuse for why he's come home wounded to his faux-wife and roommate.

"My face feels like its been smothered with yogurt." Frisk complained, eyeing himself in the mirror. "You look like a yogurt." Haley countered "What's that supposed to mean?" Haley just laughed and pulled out a whole bag of medical equipment (beauty and skincare products).

"What does this face yogurt even do?" He let his fingers lightly touch, earning a small tut  from Haley who gently took a hold of Frisk's wrist and moving it away from his face, "Its a deep pore cleanse mud mask." Haley explained. "Ohh, I think my old girlfriend used to use those two" He stated, earning furrowed brows from Haley, "old girlfriend, huh?" Her voice was pointed, something our beloved (yet oblivious) Frisk of course didnt pick up on, "Yeah, Daisy.. Dolly.. D something uh... oh! Darcy! Darcy yes!" He crossed his legs. "And what bundle of joy was she? Did you use to do skincare with you too?" Haley grumbled. "Huh? No way, she wouldnt even let me touch any of her creams or serums let alone use them." Haley's face lightened at that, "So you'd say I'm better than her then? For sharing my products with you." "You'd still be better than her even if you hogged them to yourself like youre Gollum with the ring." Haley's nose scrunched at that, "Lord of the rings reference? Really? Youre such a nerd" she giggled. "Hey! I am not a nerd!" Frisk defended himself. "You referenced Lord of the rings, you compared me to gollum, which is someting I take slight offense to but I'll let it slide cause its you, seems like pretty nerd behaviour to me."

Frisk dramatically pointed a finger at his chest, "I am not a nerd! In fact I was one of the popular kids in high school I'll have you know." Haley's eyes widened, "You? No way! .. I see it actually. Did you have gossip sessions? Were you judgy? Oh my god please tell me you werent one of those who were complete a-holes.. er.. me." She added bashfully. "Judgy? Please, I was the epitome of judgy. Regina George can step aside, high school me was something else." Haley stared at him in complete awe, "Where has this hidden beauty been hiding all this time?" He laughed at that, "Tightly concealed under my layers of sympathy and compassion for my next of kin." It was Haley's turn to laugh now. Their conversation swiftly got broken by the alarm for the face masks rang, giving Haley a new focus.

As Haley cleaned off their masks, Frisk spoke up once more, "Youre way better than Darcy though, like, way." Haley raised an eyebrow, smiling, "oh? How so?" "Well, youre nicer, more down to earth. Not to mention you let me into your house even though I showed up at like, 9PM." Frisk started. Haley moved her head to the side, "Well, yeah? I mean I lo- I- youre my boyfriend, why wouldnt I?" Frisk just shrugged at that. "I thought it was common decency to .. you know." Haley moved a loose strand behind her ear. "Where I'm from uh... its slightly very much more uptight than here, status and reputation was important, showing up out of the blue could ruin a perfectly crafted schedule and- eh, forget it, you get the picture."

Haley pulls out under-eye masks, guiding Frisk on how to place them, before sitting back, seemingly in deep thoughts. "Penny for your thoughts?" Frisk moved around, laying his head shamelessly in Haleys lap. "You're so less Alex-y than I thought at first." He furrowed his brows and smiled, "what?". Haley met his eyes, "Y'know, Alex-y. Its funny, I always thought I'd end up with Alex, I was just waiting for him to confess, then you came along and.. funny how things work out, no?" She ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah, funny" Frisk grimaced. "Oh don't be like that. You're way better than Alex; kinder, prettier-" "less of an airhead" "mm.. nah, I'd say you're both about equal there" "Hey!" Frisk grabbed his chest in faux-offence, earning a giggle from Haley.

The two fell in a comfortable silence, before Haley spoke once more, "So why did you come? I mean don't get me wrong I'm happy that you're here I just.. I don't know, you seemed upset" She scratched lightly at his scalp with her manicured fingernails. Frisk sighed and closed his eyes, "Its uh... JJ doesn't want to talk about shit that goes anything else than whats above the first two layers of skin, anything that could possibly go deeper and she shoos me off like I'm some kid who doesn't understand emotions and troubles, I mean, okay, your chance at asking Sophia out on a date was botched, that doesn't mean it can't happen! I mean my girlfriend literally insulted me when we first met and now look at us!" He ranted before opening his eyes, smiling apologetically, "sorry, didn't mean to rant."

Haley blinked, "JJ likes Sophia?" Frisk's eyes widened, "I wasn't supposed to say that I-" Haley quickly jumped up from her spot on the bed, "I gotta go- eh- I'll be- I'll be right back mkay? Great!" She kissed his forehead and ran out the door. Frisk stared at the open bedroom door and blinked.

...wait. hey frisk? Where the hell do you store your items? I'm talking about the ones you have direct access to in encounters, not your dimensional boxes. It's confusing...

Frisk: "I can't speak for the other Frisks, but I keep my direct access stuff in the pockets of my favorite cool faux leather jacket! I have two on the front and two secret ones on the inside,"

Flowey: "They also have a bookbag, and if they don't have that or the jacket, they'll balance stuff on their head,"

Frisk: "Flowey will also carry things if I ask him too,"
