Since I enjoy the audience of tumblr over Facebook let me tell y’all about how I’ve had two people tell me, a fat person who knows and is okay with the fact that she’s fat, that I in fact are not fat. Like I’m overweight, I’m fat, I’m not ugly, I’m not insecure. Could we please stop thinking fat and ugly are synonyms? I never thought I’d have to try to convince people that it’s okay to state a simple fact if it’s not putting someone else down.
