#bill cipher #andrew kryptos #gravity falls #not gonna tag flatland because it seems too tangentially related but you guys get why i draw their mortal designs grayscale and victorian #for anyone going 'what's going on with baby bill's chest???' that's a victorian scoliosis brace #they're mostly covered by clothes usually but with a low collar you would be able to see parts of it #i usually translate his mild irregularity to scoliosis #just realized there's no full drawing of canon era bill in his stupid used car salesman suit. ah well #just know the jacket has a smilar triangle shape to the jacket he wears in the last flatland era drawing and has triangle buttons #you guys have seen it i posted that design before #a good portion of these drawings is just me going 'hee hee victorian fashion fun.' loved drawing andy's stupid big coat #also-- if you notice there's a jump in bill's clothing quality from the pictures where he's around 8 to the one where he's a teen #that's chuck's doing. he was like 'well if you're going to work in a tailor shop you should look the part >:('#and bought bill a 'uniform' so he had some nicer clothes. bill's folks don't really bother getting him nicer clothes most of the time #but if someone else is paying they won't turn it down and he picked up on that

#I don't know anything about fashion but I feel like Versace's style is really loud and flashy and kind of kitchy campy #if money wasn't an issue he'd probably invest in something that's more subtle and classy and elegant #but I honestly don't know designer brands well enough to guess which one would be his favorite #I think Saint Laurent been described as tailored and somewhat androgynous in the past but I don't know if that's still the case eh #answered #anonymous

I know that what the Collector has been doing is terrible but you cannot deny that the outfits they give the puppeteered Boiling Isles residents are all amazing. 10/10, spare the Collector and convince them to be a magical tailor. All you'd have to do is tell them that their customers wanna play dress up and that their costumes are so cool they'd all pay for them. I know I would.

Anna's evening dress from my Rogue and Gambit fanfic, 'The Tailor & The Seamstress'.

"It was a two-piece affair, the kind of ensemble he knew her to be most comfortable in. Delicately draped blonde lace, over a red jacket blouse, with a generous peplum, made up the bodice; a tiered skirt in crimson crepe silk made a striking contrast with the pallid hue of the lace." -Chapter 8, Mandarin Ducks.

I didn't want to make it too fancy. Anna doesn't have a lot of money to spare, but she is rather ingenious with the resources she has. And the cast-offs she appropriates from Burford's. 😉

She wears this to the soiree where they first meet Selfridge.
