I guess this was inevitable, especially after months of this blog going without updates. I'm sad to say it, but this is the end of Ask Drunk Twilight.

This has been on my mind for a while now and I did consider other options. But in the end I knew that I've lost interest with Drunk Twi and I have to let it go now.

I'm sorry for everyone who waited for an update, and I'm sorry for everyone who wanted to see where the story would go. I feel like I've failed you and I hope you can all forgive me.

When I started this blog, it was just a little crazy ask blog meant to play around the idea of a alcoholic Twilight. I didn't expect it to become popular.

This blog is an important piece of my life. I met so many people because of it and gained many new friends because of it. This blog also helped me improve my art. Looking back at the firsts posts I made, I'm surprised how far I've gone.

I'm thankful for this blog, and I'm thankful for all the followers who supported it. Without you I wouldn't have made it this far.

I'm sad that this blog has to end, but I'm happy for all the things it brought me.

Besides, it's not the end for me yet. I still have another blogs out there, which you all can check out if you're interested. It's no Drunk Twi, but I think it's pretty cool. If you want to check it out, it's here. Also, if you want to see mroe art from me, you can check my mod blog.

Anyways, I guess that's all for this blog. Once again, thank you all for the fun memories, I hope to see you all again in other places!

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I’d like to post a little farewell to G5. I know it wasn’t a lot of people’s favorite, and it definitely had its fair share of flaws (I remember giggling with my partner when the first episode of MYM came out over how stiff the animation was!), but I loved it very much, and I hope maybe we can somehow see these characters again. I loved this cast very much, so I’m going to ramble a bit below this. For a quick TL;DR: I love these sillies a whole lot, and they will always hold a very special place in my heart :)

Misty in particular means SO much to me. I love her and the way she overcomes living with Opaline, especially because the other Mane 5 are just. So willing to give her space to come into her own and discover who she is in a way she’s comfortable with every time she’s uncomfortable. Found family Misty is everything to me as someone who grew up with a not-so-great family and sees her friends as her family. On that note, I also really like the way Sunny is portrayed to have PTSD symptoms after struggling with 2 villains (shoutout to Allura though, I wish we got a proper end to your story girl). I like it when shows acknowledge that going through crazy stuff often results in trauma. She has very obvious flashbacks in s1 ep68 and s2 ep7 of TYT, and she starts experiencing paranoia, having nightmares, and being hyper-vigilant, and it means so much to me that they bothered to show how living through those situations impacted her mental health.

Next, I think I wanna talk about Izzy! I know a lot of people see her as “the Pinkie Pie clone” (and, to be fair, she IS pretty similar), but I feel like she’s so much more than that. I love her having Violette as her own protégé, and how she’s always so excited to use her creativity to help others! It’s nice to see G5’s Mane 6 teach others their own “elements” much in the way that FiM’s Mane 6 acted as mentors to others. I’m also VERY glad they brought back rainbowified ponies, even if Izzy was the only one. She looks GREAT, and getting to see that they brought it back one last time for the final episode made me SO happy (I actually SQUEALED when I saw the thumbnail for episode 23!). I know that part isn’t really personality related, but it still makes me happy!

I’d also like to sing some praises about Hitch, too. Adding a male to the main cast was a rather bold move in my opinion, since the closest we’ve ever gotten to that is maybe Spike in any gen, Danny in G1, and maaaybe Teddy in MLP Tales? We’ve never really had a boy be part of the established main group, and oh boy was Hitch the perfect beginning for that! He’s such a goofball, and I love the sort of “awkward, cringey dad who loves his son very much” thing they did. Yes, he’s different from movie Hitch, but I always saw that as a side effect of now having a child to parent in the form of Sparky. A LOT of people’s personalities can change post-having kids, and I think it’s interesting that they made him like one of those parents who just wants to bubble wrap their kid and keep them safe. It’s pretty funny, since Sparky doesn’t exactly seem to mind or care. He reminds me a tiny bit of my own dad, and that’s something that means a lot to me.

The last two I want to talk about are, of course, Pipp and Zipp! As for Pipp, I honestly… wasn’t the biggest fan of her at first. I think I was just cranky because they added technology and social media to my Horse Show, LOL! Once I kind of got used to that, she grew on me. She grew on me BAD. I absolutely ADORE Pipp; she’s just the cutest! I love how they have her take accountability when she screws up, and I think it’s really important how she teaches kids that it’s okay to put the phone down for a while around seasons 4-5 of MYM, especially given how much tech plays a part in everyone’s lives these days. I think her having confidence and wanting to SHARE that confidence rather than bring others down is really admirable, and I love the approach they had when designing her character in intentionally making her shorter and rounder than the rest of the cast (most notable in TYT), but very specifically not having her be insecure about it. Touching on bodily insecurity is always great, but I also love seeing characters who look different where it’s just… okay. It’s accepted. I think that's pretty awesome!

Last but ABSOLUTELY not least is Zipp! She was my first favorite of G5 (they’re ALL my favorites now, I fear), and I’ve always thought it was so awesome how they had this royal character who was actively against corruption in power AND didn’t want to be treated as royalty! Having a character who’s heir to the throne and very blatantly… DOESN’T want to be/isn’t looking forward to it is something I feel like I haven’t seen a whole lot, and it’s a really interesting perspective to explore. I’m glad they did! I also love how her scenes in episode one of MYM can very much read almost as a trans allegory. I myself am not trans, but my partner and quite literally ALL of my friends are, so it’s still quite meaningful! Plus, I’m someone who chooses to not go by her birth name due to CPTSD, so, from all angles, seeing her wish to be referred to in ways that make HER comfortable and having that be respected gives me the fuzzies. I love her relationship with Pipp too, and I find their bond to be so heartwarming! Portrait of a Princess is one of my FAVORITE episodes of MYM, and it’s just so sweet to see how much they care for each other! Also, slightly less relevant, but them getting their cutie marks one right after the other on the same day was very cute. Very CMC of them. Very Mane 6 of them. Very cute, very demure, very mindful. I hope people still say that, LMAO

All in all, I know G5 had plot holes, ever-improving animation, and a lot of things fans were displeased over. Still, these characters mean something to me, and, even if their story got cut short, they’ll always still be my little ponies. Figured I'd make i humanoid/object head design of everyone's "favorite" dream demon. And with a bonus doodle of that trend detailing about a time Insert wasn't fond of.

'But, Insert ,' - you say - ' what happened during that time? What did Bill Cipher did to you persona that she hasn't forgiven him about it?'.

Well, here what happened :

Basically, it's a event that predates the SMG4 and MLPAdventures's SATMR crossover timeline-wise and concept-wise. Back then, Insert was looking at Shana's content on YT and here on DA after remembering about her. She was also thinking of entering and exploring one of the universes that were based around her series' and spoofs ( she was mainly interested in the Friendshipyardagans, a spoof of the Backyardagans ). Then Bill suddenly came and offered Insert to take her into there, but not in his usual deal method. Insert was rightfully suspicious of him the entire time he was setting up the portal. After the portal is fully opened, Bill insisted Insert to accept his help. Then Bill just shoved her into the other side and bid his farewell. Insert, still confused of what happened, got up after taking the fall and figured to explore on what universe of Shana's she has ended up, only to realize that she has ended up in The 'Tale of the Tickling Giant'.

TL;DR - Bill trapped Insert in the universe of Shana's 3 part 'softcore horror'('not that scary' horror) Sonic and MLP fanfiction for an extended period of time.

Due to her super-human immunity to harmful magic like the giant's spell , the troubles she had to go trough were trying to keep others safe from the Tickling Giant, having to be reserched on by Twilight and Tails and just generally having to deal with oversized magic tickle monster-hedgehog himself( as in chase sequences and arguments).

That's about it. I'm sure this is a wild concept for a pre-SMG4xSATMR event on Insert's side by your and Shana's standards -

in this post i made brief mention that may’s dutch VA is a singer. and i kept that into the back of my mind for ages now.

however recently i felt rather nostalgic and wanted to re-listen to some of the dutch pokemon intros (except not every single one is even translated for some reason)

so i listened to the dutch version of advanced battle, since they just refused to translate advanced & advanced challenge for some reason— and during the little moment they kinda yell out “advanced battle!” i could hear mays dutch voice actor. because i’m insane and can recognize those voice out of thousands — but that’s as far as pokemon goes. you can find the link to the dutch version here!

but recently i came across a tiktok post showing the “this day aria” song on mlp, in multiple languages. and what’s funny is that princess cadence, who sings the song, is voiced by mays dutch va. and, honestly, she does a great job.

i also remembered that mays dutch VA voiced lyra in diamond and pearl, while drew’s (older) dutch VA voiced khoury. i thought that was cute.

also, in that last post i admitted i knew barely to nothing about solidad’s dutch va, so i went out to look. there’s not much to find beside that she’s just a voice actor, however i did bump into a video of her talking about freedom! including stuff like sexuality, which means so much to me tbh,, ily

Yeah, I might turn this into a more mlp centered blog. I'm really sorry.

Honestly, as much as I reallly wanna grind for White Lily, in all honesty, I've been feeling so burnt out from cookie run after the mermaid's tale update.

Don't get me wrong! I loved the update. Somehow I got a 3 star Crimson Coral (fully free to play), but I just don't have the motivation to redesign my main kingdom, nor the money to do so, nor do I want to do guild battles.

At this point, I haven't touched the game since 2 weeks ago, and I'm honestly just waiting for my guildmembers to kick me out. If they ever read this, I want to apologize for not bidding you guys a proper farewell. I've had such a fun time, but I just don't feel it anymore.

Maybe I might redownload the game again just to say goodbye to them. But idk.

The fandom's aggression, the ever changing meta, and a bunch of other things (in game or irl) have left me with little to no interest to pick up the game, nor stay the fandom anymore.

I might still draw more White Lily content, but that's kinda it.

I apologize but it's true. I don't feel comfortable in a fandom that, from what I've seen, is pretty hostile to itself. That's not to say that everyone is hostile. I've come across a lot of really amazing artists and people who just wanna vibe and have fun, and I really respect them.

I think what I'm just trying to say is that, I'm burnt out, and I don't find CRK as interesting anymore.

The Last Letter :MLP short story:

“Your majesty,” said a guard, kneeling down to Celestia, the immortal leader of Equestria. “ You have a letter, it’s urgent.” Confusion was etched into her face as she walked to the guard. “What is it?.”

 “I do not know your highness.”

Celestia was taken aback, wondering who could have sent her a letter through the postage system. She usually received urgent messages through magic, and from her trusted confidant Twilight. With a sense of curiosity, she used her magic to pick up the scroll and thanked the guard with a smile as he bowed and walked out. 

Opening out a letter, she gasped. Tears of joy in her eyes as she saw what it was. Overwhelmed with emotion, she fell to the floor with a thud. It was a letter from someone who was really important to her. Someone who she hadn’t heard from in years.

 The paper was discolored with age and faded, clearly very old. However, her heart still soared, joy in her face, she quickly opened the envelope to read the following. 

Dear Princess Celestia,

Hello my dear, it's been quite a while, hasn't it? My hooves are shaking as I write this, as memories of the past come flooding back to me. I hope this letter finds you well..

 Do you remember me? I am the lady many years ago who used to write to you, the one who fell in love with a princess. It seems like an eternity has passed since those days, and yet, the memories are as vivid as ever.

Do you remember how we first met? I will never forget the day I laid eyes on you, my dear Celestia. You were the most beautiful pony I had ever seen, with your flowing mane and sparkling eyes. You had an air of elegance that people were jealous of, and I knew right then and there that we were destined to be friends. And we were, weren't we? 

We had so much fun together, exploring the castle, dodging guards and supervisors, and talking long into the night by the fireplace. You were always so kind to me, a poor farmer, always willing to listen to my stories and share your own. Your laugh will forever be in my heart. I treasure those memories more than you could ever know. 

But it wasn't just friendship that I felt for you, It was something more, something deeper, something that I couldn't quite understand at the time. When you confessed to me saying you felt the same it was obvious, I realized that it was love. Yes, my dear, I was in love with a princess and she was in love with me, and I know that might sound foolish to some, but it was real to me. 

I’m sorry I had to leave you, my dear. I had to go back to my old life, to my family, to my obligations. I couldn't stay with you, as much as my heart wanted to. But even though we were apart, I never forgot about you, my dear. You were always in my thoughts, in my dreams, in my heart. 

And now, as I write this letter, I know that my time is coming to an end. I wanted to reach out to you one last time, to tell you how much you meant to me, how much I loved you. And to set you free, my dear. Free from the memories of me, free to find happiness and love with someone else. I hope this letter finds you well, my dear Tia. I know that you are a kind and loving soul, and I have no doubt that you will watch over my grandchildren with the same care and affection that you showed to me all those years ago.

The throne room was in an eerie silence. She was in such a shock Celestia couldn’t process what was going on. Tears silently rolled down her face, she saw something else with the letter. A funeral invitation, one to Sweet Apple Acres, where the two of them played years ago.

The silence was broken by Celestia’s heart-wrenching wail. Her euphoric feelings from getting a letter she waited for years had turned to sorrow, and she felt her heart being ripped apart. The letter had set her free from Granny Smith’s memory, but the pain of losing her was too much to bear.

i found a gen 3 mlp archive site for toys & i'm going insane. i'm reactivating old neurons. i miss my old ponies. i used to have a gen 3 Fluttershy. i had Heather Winds. i've been calling Penny Candy by Candy Heart this whole time 'cuz i couldn't find her name on the box. i had a Daisyjo McDonald's toy; i remember she was my first pony. my second was Wisteria; she's one of the few i still have, tho she is rather worse for wear. Candy Heart was actually covered in Jolly Rancher nail polish for the past 10 years, until my roommate cleaned her. the only reason i found the site was bc i have one that i remembered me & my sister called Flurry Heart, but upon research i found her name to be Northern Lights, apparently. Starsong was the last pony i ever got, & i find it kind of sad that she doesn't have a magnet like the others. like she was a sign, a farewell to a certain era of my life, of something that faded that i can never go back to. & at the time, i knew i shouldn't. the world moves forward, & we move with it; we grow & we change & it's important. nothing lasts forever.

MLP ended today and even though I'm not in the fandom anymore and am not caught up on the last couple of years, I still want to pay tribute to my first introduction to fandom. Twilight was a massive influence and inspiration on me during middle school and I got through some tough mental times by watching MLP episodes. I will always carry with me gratitude for both the fandom and the show, and will probably never forget the lyrics to some of the songs. Even now, I still follow artists who were introduced to me through the brony fandom. I would quite literally not be on this site today, or as knowledgeable and entertained by fandom, if it wasn't for MLP:FiM.

So thank you for changing my life, MLP, and farewell old friend ❤️.
