Broke: John and Deputy living on a ranch. Having kids. John being stripped of everything that makes him interesting for the sake of being a booktok white guy.

Woke: John x Deputy could never function in normal society. They are two people so engrossed in their own need for violence that any semblance of a relationship between them can only exist within the snow globe that is Hope County during the Reaping.

They despise and want each other so much that they're caught between killing and worshipping. The NEED to punish the other throbs so harshly between them, and yet no one understands one quite like the other. No one gets them like they do. They're parallels. They're mirrors of one another.

There is an undeniable chemistry, a persistent connection that shines through the threats, the beatings, the kidnappings, etc. The acknowledgement exists only in lingering looks. The breathlessness John can't help when he's inches away from Dep. The way he smiles at them when he doesn't think about performing as the 'Baptist'.

The idea of "I know your sin intimately" from John, seeing this woman/man seethe with the same wrath he's projecting onto them and wanting to redeem them. Because then he too can be redeemed. And maybe because only through redemption can his desire for them be justified. Be appropriate in big brother's eyes.

They're salvation and damnation. They're the road to redemption and yet they constantly tempt him to sin. And John is a weak man who gives in one moment and pretends to stand on the high ground the next.

The deputy always remains on that high ground. Acting as the saviour. The hero. Even when covered in the blood of people who are also Joseph's victims. John calls them out, they don't need to kill that many people. That much blood didn't need to be spilled. But they've got the excuse, the justification made up in their head, so why not? But they're no better than the man they claim is a monster.

And the idea they act on those desire in secret? Away from the eyes of Joseph and the Resistance? Like some gross twisted, religiously traumatised version of Romeo and Juliet!? THAT'S THE SHIT

I like how when John isn't expecting the Deputy, i.e at the Church at the start of the game, he's wearing his coat. But every other time he's not wearing it. Like...John? Do you want to show off your forearms to the Deputy? Did you have show off your slutty waist to intimidate them?

And then his final scene where u kill him he's got it on again almost like "alright you know what Deputy? Fuck you, you didn't say yes so now you don't get to see my sexy forearms. May God have mercy on your soul,"

"Not really? I was in and out of areas, if you know what I mean... still, I might just research names to get a real answer for ya!"

3- Single or Taken?

Looks kinda sad, or nostalgic. "I'm single now, but she knows I still love her."

4- Any powers or abilities?

"You been talking to the boys at all? No, I just happen to be good in a fight.. seriously, who started this rumor–"

5- "Stop being a Mary Sue"

"I- what? What even is a.." [someone tells her from the other room] "Oh. Right, maybe we can pin that one for now."

"Blue, I think? I don't know it's a mix of blue and grey."

7- Hair Color?

"My natural is brown, but I've been dying it this copper color for a few years now."

"I.. no. No, they haven't been my family for a while, and while they weren't the best of people, I do hope they're alright. Besides, I've got people with me now, and they have me. In my book, that's enough."

"I had a cat when I was 12. He was a little shit.. but he was mine, and I loved him to bits. Nowadays, it's cougars, dogs, and bears. And that one rabbit that followed me for a week."

"Not a fan of people forcing others, and I don't like music boxes anymore. Also, I'm not a fan of spiders. They just creep me out a little. Fire's the worst, and smoke makes me nauseous."

"I like taking walks, drawings fun, I love a good fantasy book, and.." She gets a bit quiet again. "I loved to sing, but not much anymore."

"My mouths always been loud, a heated remark definitely, a bit of cursing here and there, but I've been trying to cool off. However, it's a bit difficult to be nice here. Everyone's stressed, worried they'll be the next body, or Angel, or... it's been tough, but I've made peace with the fact that I can't save everyone because some don't want to be saved. I just wish the peggies would realize that as well."

"Can we move on to a different topic, please? This seems a bit invasive, not to mention that just looking at where we are will give you your answer."

"Homosapien. However I've been compared to a bull, bear, and even a crow." [Why a crow?] "Long story."

"Okay, getting real personal here.." [sigh] "I used to drink a lot, but nowadays I just can't sit still. Doesn't help that I have an entire cult after me.."

"I got a list, Dutch for one, I definitely look up to Pastor Jerome, and I'd have to say the Resistance as a whole. Also, I can not forget Cheeseburger, I aspire to be like him when all this is over. Unbothered fluff mountain.."

My mom did it as a nod to honor my dad, who she thought was dead at the time of my birth, and my Uncle Takoda.

*Visibly uncomfortable with this question* Single. But-uh, interested.

My psychotic Uncle fed me some kind of fucking drug infused apple and it gave me super strength and some other shit so I suppose so.

My mom, Nayeli Lamb, and my father, Jacob Seed. My biological Uncles are gone. I had an adoptive aunt I guess too but she’s gone as well. Lots of self-proclaimed Uncles and Aunts. I also have a baby sibling on the way.

We had a dog named Boomer and a Cougar named Peaches when I was super young. They passed away though.

Bisexual. Before Dove turned out to be a traitor, I figured I’d have a chance with her over Thomas but that went sideways really fast. Selene and I had a fling going once the Twins were dealt with but that didn’t last long either.

I like to go up to where my Uncle Joseph’s retreat was and walk up to the very top. You can see the whole county from up there. It’s beautiful, but that place brings back bad memories so I only go a few times.
