I need help 😭 I've been looking for this 9-1-1 fic for a whole year, I read it a while ago and absolutely loved it but I forgot to bookmark and can't find it for the life of me.

It was on AO3. It was immediately after the tsunami. Buck gets taken home to the loft by Maddie and left there (a bit OOC, ik, but I tend to ignore that).

I can't remember exactly, but I think Eddie tries to get in contact with Buck the next day and he doesn't reply, eventually he goes to the loft to see if he's okay.

Buck is still sitting in his kitchen, still in the clothes he was wearing in the tsunami and totally catatonic. Eddie is obviously worried and takes care of him.

It might be Buddie, I'll be honest I don't remember.

I need help figuring out how Sam would react if Dean had just died, (in Sam's arms) like he did with the mark of Cain, got told by Crowley that Dean was kinda alive, then saw that Dean had black eyes.

Does he act like "I don't give a shit at the moment that you have black eyes and are a demon with the mark of Cain, you're my brother and I'm going to hug you and we can sort this out in a bit"

Or does he act like "holy shit, is a demon possessing my brothers dead body" and go for the holy water/iron/salt (or all three)

Or, should it go something like this:

Sam jumped back when he saw the black eyes of a demon. “Dean?” He asked wearily, taking a small step back.

“Yeah, Sammy?” Dean asked, his head raising completely from where it has been resting on his hands.

“You're a demon.” Sam informed him, his own eyes wide.

“Son of a bitch!” Dean cursed, scooting away from Sam slightly.

Help Me Find This Fanfic??

I don't normally do stuff like this, but i'm going insane. Last year I read a great rottmnt fanfic in which Mikey goes missing after a mystic incident(???) Or maybe he's in a coma?? The important part is that he's lost his memories and is astral projecting, and he ends up in the Bad Timeline future a few times to help future mikey. This ensures Mikey survives to send Casey jr back in time. It was like a very neat tie in, very well written. It made more sense in the fic but its been so long.

Anyways eventually he is convinced to go back into his body? wake up??? whatever. After running into april and following her to the sewers.

Its literally driving me insane someone help. Even if the fic was deleted or otherwise taken down, i need to know the name for my own sanity

this might be a longshot since the series has been over for five years now, but I'm looking for a steven universe fanfic.

It's a pearlnet fanfic. human au where Pearl and garnet are dating. I think they're college kids or something. Garnet comes home drunk because she got nervous wanting to ask Pearl something which turns out to be nude modeling. When Garnet is sober Pearl agrees to do so

Something I found randomly on Youtube that was like catnip to me because I was all "THIS IS WHERE I GREW UP!" Technically, I grew up outside of Phoenix, in a rural area (below the Gila River, a stone's throw of it, crossed it driving to get anyywhere). Sometimes, it even had water! (I am serious. It only sometimes had water more than a dog pee stream by the time it hit my area). And, yes, I have many a tactic for coping with heat - at least when the heat isn't too humid). I visited my family last year and... wow, yeah, the growth has been... alarming. (It's actually caused a homeless problem as people in cheap housing have gotten their homes and lands bought out by industry and rich people). Back when I was growing up there, it was mostly just new exclusive communities being built, making their damn lawns and golf courses and fake-lakes that people in the nearby sticks (my family) were not allowed to swim or fish in because it was only for the rich people in the community. Did I mention I hate rich people? (I know that people are not supposed to be bigoted, but I think that this is one bigotry that I am allowed. It started early). The gentrification of the area has really messed up the already messed up environment there with the groundwater. (My family subsisted on groundwater). Anyway, this video goes into a deep dive not only about the history of the desert part of Arizona, but also the engineering challenges and how people are essentially TERRAFORMING it. I grew up with a front row seat with all of the farming and irrigation canals, but there's even other things. ( I was once commissioned to do ads when I worked at a newspaper out there for a startup company that was trying to FARM SHRIMP in the desert. Desert Sweet Shrimp). Yes, people in AZ are that brain-baked by the sun and that crazy. I thought a look into this (a "yeeeep, this explains my childhood home") might be of interest to anyone who does fanfiction for Trigun in terms of worldbuilding ideas. Just switch out rivers for secret underground No Man's Land water and Hydro-Plants pushed to their limits and you've got yourself some straggling survivors trying to do the old Project SEEDS dream on an inhospitable planet in a monument to man's arrogance.

I read it about a year ago and it was so good. It was a slow burn AU where Bellamy stayed on Earth with Clarke once Praimfaya hit. It goes over their years together and how they raise Madi, but it’s a SLOW BURN they don’t get together until pretty late like after 5 years on earth together lol. Guys, so I'm trying my hardest to write a Dean fic where he has PTSD from hell (it's name in my Google docs is: ptsdean demon) and I'm not sure if the part I just wrote is good or not? I honestly can't tell if it's good or cringe worthy

Dean went to go hug the beautiful piece of machinery, and did so, but as he was laying on Baby's hood hugging her, his mind forcefully went back to his time on The Rack and how he had his limbs spread out then too, chained, forced, not able to protect himself, slice- Dean flinched before curling in on himself, not even realizing he was doing it but making no move to stop it when he did.

And he laid there. He laid there as it rained heavily on him, not giving two shits that his clothes were getting soggy, just taking comfort in his Baby. He didn't know how much time had passed, or was passing, he also didn't notice the people walking by who were giving weird looks to him and mumbling to their friends about “the weird homeless looking man curled up on top of a car”, he wasn't at all aware of his surroundings, only taking comfort in his car. When Alastair had made fake realities in Dean's mind, it had been staring people, Alastair had never paid attention to the Impala, or pie, or his amulet, so the fact that his Baby was here and real, and tangible filled him with more comfort than he had felt in… a while.

I don’t know the title nor the author myself, but I know plot points and some tags for it.

Plot points that I remember:

- They use the concept of the Alpha Voice and Jason learned to ignore it from a beta woman at a college (?) party that his horrid alpha step brother forced him to go to : his immunity is shown a few times like when his superior in the army tried to call him out on the “impossible” ability he put in his military application, and when Merwin is being himself later on.

- Salim finds himself protective of and strangely jealous towards (lol we all know why) Jason in spite of enemy status and him thinking Jason is a beta (Jason is hiding his status)

- After they get out of the temple, Jason goes with Salim to England, but is later threatened and kidnapped/attacked (I can’t remember which) by his step brother who tracked him down.

- Rachel, Eric, and Nick became a trio with Rachel & Nick being Alphas and Eric being an Omega (he was actually pregnant at the time too I think)

- Clarice was also an omega, but she still died.

- All 3 Omegas were hiding their status, but they recognized each other for what they were (omegas) due to the same chemical scent of the

- I think the fic was completed by the end there.

You want to make a story that will pull readers in and intrigue them, you want to write something visionary and amazing and unique, something that will keep the reader reading. Nobody wants to make a boring story, and we learn to write based off of what we read. Therefore, it can be easy for aspiring writers to copy whatever they see thinking it’s visionary and amazing and unique. WRONG SO WRONG YOU’RE SO DAMN WRONG. No offense. <3

This is just a list of cliches I don’t really like. And remember cliches are good, but they’re better when you add your own twist to them so people don’t get turned off by it.

ONE. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ their tongues fought for dominance , no, no, and no. This will simply not do. It’s sooo so so so overused and cliche and weird. If you use this in a story I guarantee you’ll lose customers.

TWO. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ using orbs to describe eyes , his glowing orbs, orbs as dark as night, it just sounds funky and I don’t see it used a lot a lot, but still try to avoid it. in my opinion it just sounds weird, I guess it just depends on how you use it in a sentence.

THREE. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ ( person a ) didn’t know where they ended and ( person b ) began , now this is a tough one because it depends on context. You can write this, just try to change the wording. I used something similar to this in a story of mine but it wasn’t word for word. This phrase alone is overused, so just try and change the wording of it, if that makes sense.

FOUR. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ he forced his tongue down her throat , again, something that is overused and sounds weird. It can depend on context when you use it, but it needs to be a hot scene for it work. just try to avoid or rephrase it, or make it fit into the scene.

FIVE. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ he glared daggers into her , overused af. there’s other ways to describe a piercing glare.

SIX. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ sparks going off when person a kisses person b , there are other ways to describe a first kiss with someone, but I used to see this one a lot. They would always say sparks went off when he kissed me and I was like nahhh

SEVEN. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ person a released a breath they didn’t know they were holding , now this one isn’t that bad in my opinion, but when written word for word it can be very overused. There’s other ways to write holding your breath that you can make unique to you as writer. This exact phrase is overused, but you can always change the wording depending on the context.

EIGHT. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ you like what you see? , tbh, ig this one isn’t that bad and it can depend on the character saying it, but I think it’s so corny and cliche for someone to say. If I see it written, I immediately think the author just isn’t that good at dialogue 😭

NINE. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ his eyes darkened , apparently people don’t like this one, but I do 😭 I don’t think it’s that bad, and it all depends on context and how repetitively you use it. Using it once is good, but if you keep repeating it then it feels repetitive and unoriginal. is it overused? Yes, I’ve even used it. Is it that bad? No. 9/10 for me.

TEN. ꒱ ₊˚⊹ his gaze sent shivers down my spine , my thing with this is it is kind of unrealistic as you do not shiver when someone looks at you. However, you can feel uncomfortable and your skin can get that chilled feeling, so it’s not so far off. This is another phrase you may want to reword as the literal phrase is overused.

i know this is a long shot but…

if anyone has access to the following lance sweets centric bones fics… in desperate need since they seem to have disappeared from ff.net and me being the picture of procrastination still STUPIDLY hadn’t archived them…

The Link in the Chain by asc12 — while taking some time off, sweets gets framed for murder and thrown in jail, and has to deal with a corrupt warden while staying alive long enough for the team to realize he’s missing…

The Bank in the Heist & The Clue in the Profiler by asc12 — technicallly two stories but was posted as one big one… starts with sweets getting himself in the middle of a bank robbery… & (if i recall correctly) pivots into a much darker fic about sweets being held by a serial killer and forced into studying him as he kills people in front of the psychologist (very criminal minds coded)…

there’s another one by the same author where sweets goes alone to a mental institution for a case only to find himself forcibly committed by the villain of the week and the team has to race to get him out before the corrupt admin guy fries the good doctor’s brains…

think they also wrote a fic where booth ends up having to attack sweets in order to maintain his cover… angst inevitably follows as well as an aftermath fic to deal with the fallout of that…

anyway… all their fics are REALLY good… high quality, grade-a whump… 10/10… genuinely got a literal pit developing in my stomach as i scoured the internet for the past two hours only to realize with growing horror they were nowhere to be found… which is the author’s right… absolutely… so i hope this isn’t crossing some kind of boundary…

btw if somehow the author does find this… hello! you’re an absolute gem and i simply can’t express enough how much i appreciate you feeding my endless sweets brain rot 🙏 you don’t owe me anything… but i’m out here begging nonetheless
