This is basically my stance on fanfic and my writing style in general. Absent from the list are vampires and werewolves, and shifters. If I had to add those they’d probably be in the second top tier...supernatural elements are always fun.

This was fun. I had to stack the colours so that green is on top and my favourites and red is on the bottom and the worst of the worst, because I'm like that.

Of course, it often depends on the fandom and definitely on the author... I detest a/b/o less in some fandoms where canon has a lot of male posturing to begin with, for instance. I'm sure that there may even be a kidfic out there I could enjoy somewhat.

Damn, I'm picky D: Mostly I am not a very tropes-led reader, I think, and I tend to pick based on the tags and summary, and if I know the author I can better guess how those tags will manifest themselves in the story. (The reason I've written several of the things in the NOPE and Only if... sections is that, well, I know I won't write it in a way that I don't like, right? I trust me!)

I also notice that my faves on this chart lean towards DRAMA and TENSION and FUCKING THINGS UP. Oh no!

Tagged by @writinglittlebeasts to do this fan fic trope tier list. I've done this before (never posted it anywhere), but my opinions have changed since then. Some of these, I don't even think of as being tropes, necessarily, but I just ranked stuff based mostly on what I like to write the most!
