Dead Boy Detectives Fandom Fundraiser for Palestine 🇵🇸🍉

This fandom-run fundraiser will be supporting Care for Gaza and Direct Aid for Gaza, two organizations that are working to provide direct aid for Palestinians (money, food, other essentials). The first round of the fundraiser will run from September 30th to November 30th 2024.

You can find all the details on the DBDFundraiser twitter. This is organized by Nick, arcadiabaes on Twitter, so reach out to them with questions if you have them! If you have any questions but don't have a Twitter, let me know and I can talk to them on your behalf or help you find a way to reach out to them yourself if you'd prefer!

As a bonus incentive, all donators will be entered into a raffle depending on the amount donated. Yould could win:

$5 Donation: a poem of your choosing or a personalized letter from a character of your choosing

$10 Donation: a fic of your choosing

$15 Donation: a video edit of your choosing (incl. song)

$20+ Donation: a piece of fanart of your choosing

Multiple entries are allowed! Submit proof of your donation to the google form here in order to be entered into the raffle. Be sure to make a submission for each of your individual donations if you do make more than one donation! It does ask for your Twitter handle, but if you don't have a Twitter just indicate that and give an email address or other social media handle they can reach you at!

This is such an important cause. Any donation, no matter how big or small, could make a huge difference for the people of Palestine. Even if you can't donate at this time, please share this around so we can raise as much funds as a collective fandom as possible.

YURI ON ICE GOTCHA FOR GAZA SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN

Palestinians need help - and together we can make that happen! What can we do? There are two ways to help: Volunteer and/or Donate! This week, we are focusing on volunteering, as we need your wonderful skills and talent to make this event work! No matter your skill level, we welcome all to join us!

This week, from May 13th to May 20th, we are accepting sign-ups for artists and fanwriters to join our team to create lovely art for others in return for donations to the CareForGaza gofundme. Don't write or draw? That's perfectly okay! We also welcome any cosplayers, graphics artists, and podficcers out there to also join us! All fandom art can aid in the greater good!

I’m an artist and designer trying to help my friends in Gǎza. I’ve been selling stickers and doing everything I know how, but I’m not having much luck.

I know furry art is a lucrative market, because waayyyy back when I learned I was an artist, that was my favorite thing to draw. It’s been awhile, but I bet I still have it!

If you help me help my friends, I will illustrate (almost) anything for you! (Not just furry art) All you have to do is ask.
