To all those wondering where Leo was, here he is! An he’s sure been busy
@abbeyofcyn lookie lookie, it’s done! I’ve been trying new things too, like angles and perspective✨
This takes place about a day later around 3:30am, so he’s had plenty of time to himself to put his plans in motion >:3c
I’m so excited for what’s to come heheheee
I got a little Carried away with the details in this part but it was so worth it. I tried typing the words on this part and immediately gave up because it was irritating, everyone is stuck with my crappy handwriting forever
Anywizzle, here’s Leo’s character sheet :D
Tumblr media
Don’t mind the boxes, they aren’t important
…yet.
I decided to remove the torn suit jacket so that Leo would pop out more and not get lost in the background (ended up adding the yellow/orange glow to avoid the same thing with Donnie) and to also really draw your eyes to him because well, he is the center of attention ✨
Off to the next part!

I am cringe but I am free (dies of cringe anyway)
SO UHMMM since idk if I'll ever be able to pick up this project ever again I figured it is time to share it with y'all (I put way too much effort into it 💔)
ANYWAY YES, a few months ago I lost my mind and sketched 1 and a half chapters (that's 195 pages) for a fancomic featuring my beloved pokemon scientist Colress (I love him so so much) and my oc Leonard- a pokemon AU Leonard. I called the story "Unbound science" for REASONS, and brainstormed from there. I even made a cover, but tbh I'd probably change it if I should ever finalize this project since the story changed quite a bit. You probably guessed it already, but it's a mix of romance, sci-fi, and ofc, POKEMON!! Its writing is similar to my main story, a bit of silly and a bit of dark themes, and that's pretty much it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mostly sketched these during my work breaks/shortly before my shift started 😋😋 it helped me to stay sane (kinda) RAHHH
Tbh I always was someone who didn't understand how people can ship their ocs with canon characters, but I do now, IT'S SM FUN!!! Even if there's this fear of portraying the canon character not good enough 💔💔 Nonetheless, I really enjoy(ed) this silly side project, even if I probably won't be able to finish it 💔
It's just so funny since Leonard is basically based on Colress...they fit together perfectly 😋😋/j
Also this song is their song, everytime I listen to it I immediately have to think about them. (I listened to it non-stop when sketching the comic)
There's not really anything left to say, I hope you enjoy this silly thing. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Those are some lines I'll add for the very last fight of my AU
S/G: Try to imagine this..
A world at which everyone is at peace...
A perfect world without pain, faint or suffering...
A world in which no one has to die...
Can you imagine it?
A perfect world that could exist...

Weiss: "I know, that's why I hire people from your culture."
Ruby: "Hahaha, Weiss, you're so funny. I'll tell that joke to my next wife while we're spending all your money."

Ruby and Yang were relaxing in the kitchen not really doing anything but on their scroll, enjoying a quiet morning.
Ruby:Hm. You know their making another fast and furious?
Yang:Are you for real? What is that like 9?
Ruby:10.
Yang:Wow. Fast and furious 10 just sounds stupid.
Ruby:It does.
Yang:Like wha-
Before she could finish Zwei rushed into the kitchen with his semblace, Yang and Ruby turning to their ten year old brother with raised eyebrows.
Ruby:Um. Hey Zw-
Zwei:AM I ADOPTED?!
The sister turn to look at each other and then back to their baby brother, his ears twitching as he bounced on his feet nervously.
Yang:(flatly) No Zwei. You aren't adopted. What possibly makes you think that.
Zwei:I don't look like you.
Ruby:Like who? Me or Yang?
Zwei:Both!
Yang sighed and got up to pour herself some coffee all while talking to her brother. Ruby couldn't help but just snort out a laugh.
Yang:Zwei, you and Ruby have the same haircolor. And you don't look like me. Because you look like dad as a kid.
Zwei:But dad has yellow hair!
Ruby: He's blonde kiddo. Not yellow hair.
Zwei:Whatever, I'm not yellow hair like Yang and dad!
Ruby:Because you have mom's haircolor. We both do! You got mom's hair color and dad's face.
Zwei:But how come I don't have purple eyes like you yang, or silver eyes like Ruby?
Ruby:.....You got dad's eyes.
Yang:Hm... I'm not sure about that. His eyes are actually.... silver blue. So might be dad and mom's genre making it like that.
Ruby:Is that how it works?
Yang:It's how it work for me. I have lilac eyes. Dad had blue eyes, raven has red.
Ruby:Okay. Fair. Anyways where is this coming from? Is someone telling you this?
Yang:Yeah. Tell us. We can.... talk to them.
Ruby shoots her a dirty look.
Ruby:Yang this isn't a big sister beat up moment!
Yang:I'd say it is. Who been telling you this Zwei?
Zwei ear flatten to his head as he look to the floor.
Zwei:.....I just been having thought..... maybe I'm not really related to you guys since we don't look the same.
Ruby bends down and hugs zwei tightly, Yang doing the same patting his head.
Ruby:We don't have to look the same to be related Zwei. You are our little brother no matter what what.
Yang:Yeah. And I'll beat anyone who say otherwise. You could be an alien and I'd still say your my kid brother.
Zwei smiled widely and he fells the warm and love from his sister. But his face drop and big.
Zwei:Wait so I'm an alien?! I knew it!
Ruby sighed and smacked her forehead. Yang simply just stare down her kid brother starting to ramble on about how he always knew and how he would find other alien to take over the planet.
Yang:.... Zwei, I.... Oh my god....

Mr Speaker, it is an indescribable feeling to stand up and address this House. As a son of Samoan immigrants who made the mighty Ōtara 274—Southside hard—their home, I am well aware of the giants whose shoulders I stand on and the masters whose feet I learnt at. The courage, foresight, entrepreneurial spirit, and hope of our ancestors who journeyed thousands of years ago through the vast waters of Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa brings me here today.
My parents arrived in New Zealand in the early 1960s, told that this was the land of milk and honey. Dad started off as a taxi driver with South Auckland Taxis, and mum on the factory floor at New Zealand Forest Products in Penrose. We lived in a four-bedroom State house on Preston Road in Ōtara, and I attended local schools: East Tāmaki Primary, Ferguson Intermediate, and the great Tangaroa College. We're forever grateful for the State house that was our home for around 20 years, and the quality public education we received from our local State schools.
I did try my hand for a short period at a decile 10 school outside of Ōtara, but that experiment lasted only two weeks. It was during the time in the late 1980s, when families from poorer areas were being discouraged from going to local schools because they weren't considered up to scratch. I'm glad we changed course and decided to high school it in Ōtara, where the motto of our school was "Waiho i te tokā tu Moana"—"Steadfast like a rock in the sea".
Later, at university, I went on to write my Master's dissertation on brown flight, critiquing the Picot reforms that have wreaked havoc on our public schooling system. That period was also a challenging time for my family because we were being told by our teachers to stop speaking Samoan at home and only to speak English. My parents didn't want us to fail at school, so we were allowed to speak English at home and over time we stopped speaking Samoan altogether. In the end, I lost my language. I struggled, I was embarrassed, and I felt incomplete. Even speaking to you in Samoan this evening gives me major tremors.
There's a saying in Samoan: "E le tu fa'amauga se tagata"—no one stands alone, no one succeeds alone—and, for me, no one suffers alone. Over the past years, with the support of my family and friends, I've taken to trying to converse again in Samoan, reading more texts in Samoan, praying in Samoan, and sending our youngest to a local Samoan early childhood centre. Our beautiful language, Gagana Samoa, has returned to our home and is helping to overcome the inadequacy that had taken root in my soul.
As I speak this evening, I'm mindful of the many young people who are navigating these at times treacherous and unsettled waters in life, filled with so much potential, energy, and hope, yet too often misunderstood. In my time as a youth worker in South Auckland, I've spoken with hundreds of young people with massive dreams for the future. We need youth workers, we need social workers, and we need mentors to walk alongside our young people, and, yes, we want our youth to be responsible and caring and considerate. So it's our job in this House to resource the people and organisations who will model the behaviour to them that we expect, but who also won't give up on them and won't come with a saviour mentality.
Many of our societal challenges are driven by poverty. We can achieve greater social cohesion and lift our sense of belonging by addressing poverty. I've been honoured to run youth mentoring programmes for nearly 25 years—that's about how old I am—and to this day I mentor young people. When we undertook and published research on youth gangs some years ago, the youth we spoke to had the solutions and just needed the means to make it happen. Too many of our young people are filling our prisons, and it is wasted human potential. Give them the tools, the resources, and the means to make a meaningful contribution to the world, and they will. I was at a conference recently about the threats to democracy and an attendee spoke about their work in developing nations and used the familiar retort, "You can't eat democracy." And I couldn't agree more. This House, this centre of democracy, needs to do more to engage our people, all of our people, so that they can see this House is not just relevant but an essential part of their lives.
The greatest challenge facing our generation is climate change. The Pacific Islands nations are among the most vulnerable to climate change in the world. The world's continued reliance on fossil fuels, loss of coral reefs, rising sea levels, and increasing severe weather patterns means that our extended whānau in the Pacific are in immediate danger. We, as a collective, must do all we can to do as we say out south "flip the script". Truth is, those who've done the least to create this predicament are being the hardest hit. Our challenges, whether ecological, geopolitical, or cultural, are diverse, but we're bonded by the inextricable ties we have to our lands and our oceans. We've inherited philosophies, knowledge systems, and profound ecological wisdom that holds the answers and drives our collective resilience—from West Papua to Hawai'i. Our fight for a climate resilient, nuclear-free and independent Pacific remains as strong as ever. We are not drowning; we are fighting.
I haven't come to Parliament to learn—learning happens as a matter of course through reflection. I've come to this House to help. Helping is a deliberate act. I'm here to help this Government govern for all of New Zealand, and I'm here to open the door, enabling our communities to connect better with this House. During the election campaign, I spoke to people frustrated about their lot in life, scared for their and their children's futures, and feeling their dreams were slipping away. The people I spoke to expect the Government to do more and move faster. And I know that there are some in this House who believe Government is not the answer to these challenges and that less Government is better. But here's the thing: the Government cannot be a bystander to people suffering confusion and disenfranchisement. New Zealand must close the divide between those who have and those who have not, because the reality for my community is that those who have more money often wield more power, more health, more housing, more justice, more access, more canopy cover, more lobbyists with swipe cards, and more time. And the opposite is true for those who have fewer resources.
It's hard to be poor, it's expensive to be poor, and moreover, public discourse is making it socially unacceptable to be poor. Whether it's bashing on beneficiaries, dragging our feet towards a living wage, throwing shade on school breakfast programmes, or restricting people's ability to collectively bargain for fairer working conditions, we must do better to lift aspirations and the lived realities of all our people. To that end, I want to say to this House with complete surety that the neoliberal experiment of the 1980s has failed. The economics of creating unemployment to manage inflation is farcical when domestic inflation in New Zealand has been driven by big corporates making excessive profits. It's time to draw a line in the sand, and alongside my colleagues here in Te Pāti Kākāriki, we've come as the pallbearers of neoliberalism, to bury these shallow, insufferable ideas once and for all. And this, sir, is our act of love.
Paolo Freire, in his seminal work Pedagogy of the Oppressed, said love is an act of courage, not fear; love is a commitment to others. No matter where the oppressed are found, the act of love is a commitment to their cause, the cause of liberation. The most recent election campaign left many in our Māori communities bruised and targeted for the perceived privileges supposedly bestowed upon them. Shared governance is a rich concept about how we include those who've been excluded for far too long in the work of this House and the democratic institutions that are fundamental to our collective wellbeing. We are Tangata Tiriti and we have nothing to fear. As a New Zealand-born Samoan living in South Auckland, I've experienced, written about, and spoken about racism in this country. I've also been on a well-publicised journey in understanding the needs and views of our rainbow communities, and I have a long way to go. And my message to whānau who often experience the sharp end of discrimination—disabled, ethnic, rainbow, brown, seniors, and neurodiverse—is thank you for trusting us with the responsibility of facilitating a new discussion on how we move forward together and make possible what was once deemed impossible.
The American civil rights activist James Baldwin said, "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced." We commit to working across this House as a nation and with each other irrespective of our post code, income bracket, skin colour, or level of qualification attained. But, in order for that work, we must come with humility, the desire to listen, and dare I say it, maybe speaking last. If I was to inspire anyone by getting to this House and my work over the next three years, I hope that it's the square pegs, the misfits, the forgotten, the unloved, the invisible—it's the dreamers who want more, expect more, are impatient for change, and have this uncanny ability to stretch us further.

Do you think their is Faunas like Chibi Blake and regular Blake who have habits like the animal their trait is but have to fight against these habits because if they don't they will be ridiculed on both ends. Humans calling them animals and other Fanaus insulting them because they are playing up stereotypes and are disgraced. But they just want to chase their tails or stare and bubble chest. Man being a fanaus with Austim must be horrible.
In canon I know it doesn't but again, Canon Faunus Lore fucking sucks.
In the Sharc AU, one of the reasons Jaune wears a scarf is to block out electrical signal from his Ampulae of Lorenzini, because he could become overstimulated in crowds and cities with all the electronics going on.
That is a behavior caused by a faunus trait.
Faunus will naturally seek out areas that align with their traits origin.
Blake, I feel is a particularly unique case - She loves fish because it reminds her of home, not because she's a Cat Faunus. She Hates dogs just because. They make her uncomfortable. They always have, like an irrational fear.
The box thing - That's Cat behavior. The hiding, the muffling of noises allow for easier relaxation and a good spot to leap from to get prey.
Of course, these would get pointed out by Humans, and all of it fuel for their stereotypes.
Penny in the Sharc Au is Firefly Faunus. she was built that way to use stereotypes to hide her true nature - or lack thereof.
But at the end of the day, It's not really any different than humans that live near the equator tending to have darker skin, and less of a chance at S.A.D. or People that live in the mountains having smaller lungs.
It's all adaptations.
But yeah, imagine having autism, and literally being able to hear 3 Times greater than people around you on top of that.
It'd be hell.

Brave
(I think I'm gonna phase out of my previous style and go into my normal writing style but I want yall to decide so ill put the poll in the end of this fic. Also merry Christmas everyone)
To say Weiss was incredible was a major understatement, atleast for one jaune arc. Despite the constant flash freezing she does to him he keeps trying... She didn't enjoy the constant attempts. She wouldn't nor shouldnt allow him to get to her, knowing her luck it's probably a facade. The moment he has her is the moment she gets trapped again.
Trapped like her own home was.
Trapped, Locked away and only released so others may gloat they were in her presence.
Trapped, and suffering.
But yet today, on the start of Christmas break no less. It was different. Her team, was out either with family or spending time with the other two.
Meanwhile Weiss? Weiss was in the library bored as looked for a nice book to read before stopping on... A children's book? A book made for children amongst the arsenal detailing the history of huntsman and huntresses. This... Intrigued Weiss, she grabbed it and pulled it out and read the title "the brave dragon"... Strange.
She decided to take it to the back of the library and began to read.
"a long, long time ago. A dragon who's heart was as beautiful as a diamond soon had it be frozen by the king of dragons. The once elegant and courageous dragon turned to isolation and bitterness. The humans that ones befriended it turned to its enemies with the dragon destroying it with its icy flame. The beautiful land and help cultivated was now A reduced to nothing but white hot ash. And so that dragon stayed alone and bitter. Until one day, a knight arrived to find this dragon, to require it's help, as the Greatest warrior of the knights home was gone, so the knight came to it and begged only to receive nothing but refusal and the dragons fury. Eventually the knight left causing a growing emptiness in the dragons frozen heart. Eventually the dragon would fly to the knight as it saw the knight fighting a giant bird that terrorized the people. With the bird striking the knight gravely wounding him and as the bird was about to strike the dragon would stand in its way as its heart was engulfed with flame as it forced the beast to return to its flock as unbeknownst to the dragon, it's cold heart had finally been allowed to melt. Soon after days of worrying the knight was able to finally return and thank the dragon for its bravery."
And the story ended there as Weiss was a tad annoyed for some reason. She didn't know why but something about the fact the story ended abruptly just... It bugged her. Weiss would sigh as she got back and put the book away as she noticed someone else coming through the library.. someone that should probably not be at school during the break.
One jaune arc was looking at the books in the shelves as he seemed indecisive as Weiss watch out of morbid curiosity before hearing another pair of footsteps as cardin and the rest of his flock entered and were chatting about something related to "putting fanaus bitches in their place" or whatever braindead idea they had.. which was somewhat ironic as one of the members, lark had shown attraction to a faunus. Regardless Weiss paid no more mind than what they deserved as her curiosity was now on jaune as he grabbed a book about the history of huntsmen fighting styles as he was walking toward the exit before being met with cardin.
"hey there jaune-jaune, how's your back feeling?" Cardin spoke as he had a smug look on his face as jaune just grumbled. "L-look cardin I don't have time for you and your crows, now may I please pass through?" Jaune spoke as he attempted to keep his voice steady as he tried to squeeze through before cardin put a hand on jaunes shoulder as cardin leaned close to his ear. "I dont think i feel like it. Besides.. I wanna use my favorite punching bag." Cardin spoke softly as jaunes face went pale, Weiss watched on expecting to see pyrrha show up to tell them to knock it off but so far.. nothing. Jaune stepped back and raised his fists as weiss raised an eyebrow as she didn't hear what cardin said but whatever it was jaune was preparing to fight.
"I'm not doing this cardin. I-im done with you." Jaune spoke as cardin just smiled before punching him in the gut as jaune opened his mouth shout in pain but nothing escaped his mouth.
Cardin then proceeded to grab him by his hair and kick him in the face as jaune stumbled back into a book shelf.
Weiss felt a pit in her stomach as she balled up her hands into a fist as something in her wanted to just grab Cardin and shove him into the ground. Weiss didn't know why she felt like this.. but she needed to keep her cool and wait for pyr-
"no invincible girl save you from this jauney-boy." Cardin taunted as he grabbed jaune by his shirt but before anything else could happen Cardin was flash frozen in a block of ice as his goons and jaune looked to see Weiss pointing myrtenaster at cardin as she had a scowl on her face.
"sometimes pyrrha, I worry your care for the dolt is rubbing off on me" Weiss thought to herself as she lowered myrtenaster. "Your boss will unfreeze soon. I advise you take him to your dorm and make sure he releases that dolt." Weiss spoke calmly as his goons nodded and picked up their frozen leader as he released jaune before they ran off. Leaving a confused jaune as he adjusted his posture as he stared at Weiss as he was about to say something.
"don't.. I shouldn't need to do your job of defending yourself." Weiss interrupted as her voice was cold with her turning away and walking out before arriving at her dorm as her face was red.
"dolt!"

I get ironwood is flawed but I dont get people who say that he and jacques arent that different they both have a veneer of kindness which covers a control freak. and comparing cinder moving on from madame to salem another abusive parent figure to winter moving from jacques to james ironwood
Yeah, that's bullshit.
James' fall from grace was a RECENT phenomenon. As in, until like the last couple of months, Winter was serving a perfectly moral and fair general. This is completely unlike Salem who has spent her entire time witg Salem using Cinder for her own ends.
I fucking HATE this trend of trying to portray James as 'always evil' or whatever- it misses the fucking point. To pharphase Hellsing Abridged-
"You were a great man, James. Shame you became shit."
P.S. James' Ace Ops AND his academy have Fanaus among them. So no, I don't think James is guilty of the classism/racism of Atlas.
I am sick of you.
