#fanart is welcome

I'm so annoyed!

Is anyone else who still has a Fanfiction.net account getting a sudden flood of PMs from "people" (I'm not convinced they're not bots or scams) trying to bum commissions off you? I've gotten five in the last month and I'm really starting to find them annoying. Not to mention, it's not allowed on FF.

Never mind the fact I'm an artist and can do my own art for my fanfiction. If I wanted a commission from someone, I would seek them out myself. It's irritating to open a PM on FF expecting to see someone either want to talk about my works or ask for Beta Reader help, but instead see some stranger claiming they want my money.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE when people do fanart of my stories. It warms my heart that what I wrote inspired someone enough that they brought it to life. It makes me so happy every time I see it, and it's fun to do it myself. But these "people" I seriously doubt have read even one of my works. They probably just saw my name on a list and sent a stock sales pitch.

So yeah, fanart of my fics is very welcome, but if I want a commission, don't come to me, I'll come to you.

In one of the chapters of 'Melody of Second Changes', you said no touchy with your OCs. Does this mean we can't write Oneshots or draw (well, attempt to) them?

fanart is welcomed as long as it's SFW! So are short fanart comics based on something that happened in the story. However written content like oneshots and stories make me uncomfortable unless they are from a mutual I know very well, so do not use my ocs to write stuff please and thank you. ^^;

If you draw one of my ocs however, feel free to tag me so I can come admire it!
