I need HELP

I feel unsafe in my own home, not sure if or when it's all going to be taken away from me after threats made by my father. who's decided to pull the rug out from under my whole family, we're fighting how we can, but i want to get out of all this. We're trying to hopefully handle this with legal means, stops his threats in it's tracks, but my living situation feels deeply unsafe and it feels like I'll need to back up everything and run any day now, my sleeps been a mess, and I've been a mess of anxiety while this all goes on. the support has been helping me get some piece of mind, but i'm REALLY looking to ge the hell out of all of this drama that's been my life and ge tas far away from that man as possible. he's hurt me throughout my life and I'm so tired of it, I just want to move away, do something else. start my own life without this looming shadow over it. you've all supported a ton, and I'm beyond greatful. you've spread the word, and it's been wonderful for keeping me safe in the moment, but any further support will be actively put towards me getting the fuck out. if everyone who saw this donated a single dollar, i'd be practically half way to my goal,

Hello! It has been a minute! Thank you all so much for your patience! I hope the holidays were really wonderful and I hope things keep getting better. I am happy to say we have been working on the next update! It’s very exciting, I feel as though things are coming together and the direction we are going will pave the way for our collection of future updates. (My plan, my plan, haha!) Much of last year was spent building our character bible, voice acting, and layout, all of which has now been completed!) We have also completed a great number of other items that we’ll give an update on the closer we get to our drop date!

I will say, as a preview, we intend to spring, sprang, sprung, by springtime!

Until then, we will take care to update us all weekly with artwork and previews of what is being worked on! Keep an eye out every Friday or so on Ko-fi!

A HC i have for them is that howdy really really admires marri alot as a nurse and as her own puppet self. shes hardworking, selfless, kind, whiling to drop everything to help others and awfully sweet (that is her last name!) he just respects her alot as being another business owner hoping one day to reacg her level of customer/patient satisfaction

I'm curious about if you have any very weird or unconventional Welcome Home headcannons! I like to headcannon that Barnaby is Polish. Not only because I am, but Poland has cultural ties to the circus, especially in art. Look up "Cyrk Posters" and you'll find hundreds!

I’ve got no idea if they’d be classified as weird or unconventional, BUT I thought about it and found a few that might fit that description:

Barnaby is not a dog, he is a dog-shaped puppet! Not that I don’t love Barnaby having actual dog traits! It’s big fun! But that little tidbit is always at the back of my head from when clown said something along the lines of “Barnaby wouldn’t know how to act like a dog if you asked him to”. I think about it often.

Whether on purpose or subconsciously, Howdy is a little mean. He’s witty and goofy like Barnaby, but where Barnaby is laid back, Howdy is very much not. This affects how one can perceive his character. With this little thought in particular, he’s can come across a little more asshole-ish. But there’s also his dismissive attitude towards his brother and Eddie. Maybe it’s just the time period (1970s, right?) and Howdy is the type of guy to view emotional displays as a sort of weakness (when coming from a man), despite himself being almost the same. (I don’t think he realizes)

I very much like the idea of Julie, Eddie, and Frank being in a relationship of sorts. They have such cute chemistry together! Whether as friends, sort-of-lovers, or a queer-platonic relationship, I’m not sure. Though, my preferences are quite fluid, so I just go with whichever I’m feeling at the time :)

Wally doesn’t need to blink to eat. He stares. I’m pretty sure this is actually canon, rather than headcanon.

The puppets are puppets! I like to think they can store things in their bodies, or say, remove a body part or move it around in a way they shouldn’t. Like Barnaby being able to remove his head and put things in his hollow body! Or removing an eye because you fell and scratched the paint off it, or the fact that they don’t even need to blink. There’s an inherent horror in their non-human nature. Because realistically, if I saw a muppet/puppet and it moved on its own, I would be terrified! I’m actually quite afraid of dolls, actually.

Heehee! As it is, my headcanons are pretty susceptible to change, so it’s hard to tell if they’re just things I find interesting or if it’s what I actually think ^^; but thank you for the ask! This was pretty fun to do!
