Lim and his wife have like.. 5 or 6 kids...... on purpose........ there are many family running jokes about it with varying levels of crudeness. They just want a big family... If everyone was like them the planet would regain its prewar population in a few scant generations. Besides, Lim is a stay-at-home dad and house manager, so there's someone to wrangle them all full-time.

Jocasta eventually gets married at the spinsterish age of 30 and has a reasonable amount of children. There's such a dearth of young Cardassian men after the war that nobody thought it was too unusual that she took that long, but still, societal expectations and whatnot. Garak is heartbroken when she moves out (last one to leave the nest.) He visits a lot especially after he retires.

Idk if Idan has kids! Probably eventually. He's a student though, he's got too much to do right now.

But he is a favorite uncle!

Also idk if Iskra and Rulada have kids haha I don't know if they're the 2.5 WPF type... but very funny to imagine their Klingon/Cardassian hybrid. WHAT kind of chaotic mommy energy is Iskra going to bring to this endeavor

my curse is that sometimes i DO want to read familyfic but then i remember no one wants to write kids as kids. like you go look at uzumaki-namikaze fam fic and it's all "what if naruto is secretly a genius with no behavioral problems" or "what if naruto has a learning disability which is resolved entirely off screen and no one has to bring it up again." it's never "what if naruto's parents think he's funny and clever for just being a regular kid" or "what if naruto fucking bites minato"

well you see.. 'bad opinions' WILDLY differ on what i'm feeling like that day, so if im grouchy, and i see a harmless post that's like 'erik likes brown suits' im like ? shut the fuck up no he doesnt? 87GUJDSD SO LIKE IVE DEFINITELY BLOCKED PEOPLE OVER SOMETHING THAT DIDNT EVEN MAK EME MAD. actual things that i do block over that are incredibly petty bad opinions but i curate my space or wtv:

nuclear familyfication of ch-rles/er-k like i get a little too annoyed.. i personally prefer the drama and nuance of it all over 'they're all a big happy family and they have 3000 children' (who are all mostly erik's)

uwufication of charles. that man is a horrible little guy we should love him for the atrocities. we should hate him for the atrocities. and love him for the atrocities. and h

erik being characterized as 'genocide-doer mutant supremacist who hates all humans and wants to kill them but doesn't bc charles tells him not to' like im sorry i know this is the movies fault and x2's fault but it pisses me off like i di dmy reading.. i did my diligent magnet* reading.. i appreciate the character too much with the rich history to try to smile at those jokes that stripe him of characterization. etc
