btw i’ve never seen pacific rim but i had a dream last night that there was a new pacific rim movie and the kaiju and the big robots were fighting and there were all these gratuitous shots of them stepping directly on cybertrucks with the drivers still inside them and in an interview guillermo del toro said that those were his favorite shots in the entire movie

the most unfortunate thing i think is that mac and dennis both have such screwed-up perceptions of love that they are never going to get better because they do not want to get better. they understand each other so intimately and are able to recognise each other’s faults, but instead glorify those toxic traits to find a twisted form of comfort in the shouting and neglect and abuse they’ve grown accustomed to. and that’s what keeps them in each other’s gravity.

maybe unpopular opinion in the sunny fandom but honestly i don't think charlie kelly is asexual however i do think he has a complicated relationship with intimacy and sex due to trauma. and i could point out all the evidence i have or write paragraphs worth of analysis to defend that belief but i know really it's because i see my own experience in him and im projecting 👍👍👍 thank you charlie kelly for somehow accurately representing me and my experience in between all the huffing glue and committing crimes i love you
