spent ages preparing to audition for a role I really really wanted and it's looking like (still unconfirmed) they might not even be holding auditions at all but have just given it to someone directly
which, meh, that sucks but that's the industry!
I'm just like now what? I spent a lot of my free time the last few months prepping and I genuinely don't know what to do with myself now!
#guess I'll... have a bath?#call my mum?#keep prepping anyway on the off chance the rumours are false?#I already asked my agent to investigate but she can't find out either!#that's hollywood baybeeee#sorry mario your blorbo is in another show#I should get myself a treat as a reward for all my hard work even though it didn't work out#I have 3 criteria for this sort of thing and if I tick them all off I can walk away happy#Did I approach it from curiosity not ambition?#Did I make it known in the industry that I wanted the role?#Did I prepare for the role?#I did all three of those things so audition or no audition I can hold my head up high#might get myself one of those nice cookie dough brownies from the coffee stand this week as a consolation prize

kim is such a funny little guy like he emphasizes how little the rcm salary is when you ask about it (5500 reál annually- 460/mo) but here he is with his nice electronic sports watch and his little instant camera and his fancy revolutionary cosplay for plainclothes and he's living in the GRIH which can't be cheap and he's got his fancy little mnemotechnique notebooks which are like the moleskine of elysium i guess and his fancy little ballpoints that he does NOT want to share with you which i bet is because they cost him like a week of salary. and this is the rcm he's not getting stipends for supplies or watches or housing or probably even the gas for the kineema. poor as fuck but he is going to buy himself his little treats god damn it. if he lived in our world you know he'd be out getting himself a $9 vanilla soy milk half caf dirty chai iced latte every morning on the way to the station and eating instant noodles every night to claw out room in the budget for it

examining a seemingly normal image only to slowly realize the clear signs of AI generated art.... i know what you are... you cannot hide your true nature from me... go back where you came from... out of my sight with haste, wretched and vile husk
#BEGONE!!! *wizard beam blast leaving a black smoking crater in the middle of the tumblr dashboard*#I think another downside to everyone doing everything on phone apps on shitty tiny screens nowadays is the inability to really see details#of an image and thus its easier to share BLATANTLY fake things like.. even 'good' ai art has pretty obvious tells at this point#but especially MOST of it is not even 'good' and will have details that are clearly off or lines that dont make sense/uneven (like the imag#of a house interior and in the corner there's a cabinet and it has handles as if it has doors that open but there#are no actual doors visible. or both handles are slightly different shapes. So much stuff that looks 'normal' at first glance#but then you can clearly tell it's just added details with no intention or thought behind it. a pattern that starts and then just abruptly#doesn't go anywhere. etc. etc. )#the same thing with how YEARS ago when I followed more fashion type blogs on tumblr and 'colored hair' was a cool ''''New Thing''' instead#of being the norm now basically. and people would share photos of like ombre hair designs and stuff that were CLEARLY photoshop like#you could LITERally see the coloring outside of the lines. blurs of color that extend past the hair line to the rest of the image#or etc. But people would just share them regardless and comment like 'omg i wish I could do this to my hair!' or 'hair goallzzzz!! i#wonder what salon they went to !!' which would make me want to scream and correct them everytime ( i did not lol)#hhhhhhggh... literally view the image on anything close to a full sized screen and You Will SEe#I don't know why it's such a pet peeve of mine. I think just as always I'm obsessed with the reality and truth of things. most of the thing#that annoy me most about people are situations in which people are misinterpreting/misunderstanding how something works or having a misconc#eption about somehting thats easily provable as false or etc. etc. Even if it's harmless for some random woman on facebook to believe that#this AI generated image of a cat shaped coffee machine is actually a real product she could buy somewhere ... you know that the Sakura (佐倉) in the family name isn’t the same as the Sakura in the cherry blossoms (桜 or 櫻) and doesn’t really have any connection to blooming?
The name "Full Bloom" is meant to be a bit of a play on words, actually! There's the obvious "Sakura" meaning, but what actually led us to pick this name is coffee — when making coffee, letting it bloom allows for a fuller, richer flavor. Since the three of them are also often referred to as "coffee family", this is a nod to that. Of course, the Sakura/sakura name was intentional as well; we certainly aren't the first to utilize homophones in naming conventions. This is why our icon is a cup of coffee with a petal in it, and why most of our posts are signed with ☕🌸!
#I could go on about the fact that in the false reality ending photo with Futaba and Sojiro the background is full of blossoming cherry trees#and that the richer flavor in bloomed coffee refers to how they all make each other more fulfilled#but I imagine this gets the point across? lol#asks
