Apparently it’s a common recurring dream in America so I am attempting to poll the bone apple teeth appreciator fandom about it.

The Cavity Weevil (Curculio dentalis) is a parasite of mammalian teeth.

It drills through the enamel with its long rostrum, depositing eggs in the soft pulp. The larvae eat through the supporting tissues of the tooth, making them rot to leave an opening for the adult to exit.

Their name comes from the belief that these weevils use pre-existing weaknesses, like cavities, to help them break through the enamel. Despite that, C. dentalis have been observed puncturing fully healthy teeth.

Studies have shown their jaws are reinforced with iron and copper, making them into effective drills.

I’m super stressed for finals and had a dream where for the exam I analyzed like how Ned Chicane’s goals shifted over the course of the campaign and I was so stressed bc I couldn’t believe I forgot to study all of Taz Amnesty for my religion class.

recurring dream locations:

water park that's miles and miles of entangled tube slides and ladders, water not necessarily included, it's usually dusk, and there are no staff present (i'm usually lost or stuck there somewhere)

non-euclidean house/mansion/hotel/etc. doors that open to places they shouldn't, nonsensical floor plans, flights of stairs hidden in the cellar that as you walk down them take you to what could only be an upper floor, etc (i'm usually lost but more often just explorin')

"The Amphitheater" (a concert venue that's out in the middle of the mojave desert. the stage is a big slab of slate, the seats are rows of benches made of the same slate, and the whole thing is surrounded by severel-hundred-foot-tall chunky stone monoliths that have indents carved into the top of them that serve as "sound amplifiers" because the band that's playing doesn't actually have any amps or speakers. the rock faces also serve as projection screens. the only way in or out of The Amphitheater is an honest to god labyrinth. i saw Metric there twice now)

wow my dream really hit EVERY stress dream trope last night:

- everyone was mad at me and i didn’t know why

- the reason i didn’t know why was because i’d blacked out from weed so i felt guilty about that too

- i was late and couldn’t find my stuff, and every time i found one thing i’d lose a different thing

- i was supposed to take care of a baby and it got hurt

- there was a flood so i was doing all this whilethe water was rising and by the end i was trying to holdthe baby while treading water

- then i was at an event trying to keep track of my dad and keep him safe while he wanted me to just leave him alone

I’m so fucking tired, I’ve been extremely tired for the past few days. I’ve been sleeping like shit and can’t fall asleep till like 2 am. I’m gonna get my period soon. Went to that funeral with my dad, saw that shitty ass religious cousin and her family that I fucking hate, didn’t get back home till like 10 at night and didn’t fall asleep that night till like 3 am. I haven’t been taking notes for this week’s readings for my classes and been skimming through. And I STILL need to go to the stores to get some last few things for Christmas gifts!!!

people who have lucid dreams and can control them fuck off. ill be in a dream and go "oh wait, this is a dream" and i still cant control shit. every single time i try to fly cause itd be fun and i barely manage to hover before falling down again. the best i can do when realizing im in a nightmare is make myself wake up, i cant actually make the nightmare stop. like wtf
