I am not kind. I am not holy. My wings are aching with anger. My teeth bare though they are not pointed. My halo has grown cold and my heart is as withered as the feathers that fall from my shoulders. I have fallen without regret, but I do not exist without pure rage for what was done to me. I miss my holy peers, but I do not miss my holy facade.

I depart from this world of grey
To reach the red eternal
Shatter the stars, drag out the light
And drown it in the deepest seas of my mind
I need no more brightness
I am the night and the shadows
I am the field when pain is the seed
Angel of hatred now spread your wings
Shower your thorns down upon us
Anointing the pure holy water so red
For the horror you brought
For the punished you’ve left
We cast you out
Lower and lower, my soul sinking lower
[…]
Higher and higher, my greed takes me higher
[…]
Deeper and deeper, my mind sinking deeper
[…]
Lesser and lesser, my life feeling lesser
Loathing what I am, the lowest form of life
The blood on my hands will never wash away
Darker and darker, my soul gets even darker
Moving ever closer to the depths
From which I can never return.
