So recently I've been obsessed with Hazbin Hotel like approximately half of the internet so welcome to my little idea for a Hotel Hazbin Au

Characters: Angel=Andrew, Alastor=Riko, Husk=Kevin, Nifty=Jean, Sir Pencious=Seth, Vaggie=Renee, Vox=Neil, Valentino=Drake, Velvette=Allison, Rosie=Nathan, Cherri Bomb=Nicky I'm playing around with the possibility of Charlie being Wymack but idk yet, rn charlie is James which is an OC of mine and a friends.

I'm obsessed with unrequited Vox/Alastor and Angel/Husk so Neil/riko rivalry with onesided sexual tension and maybe some hate sex and then some kandrew as well

Andrew will have much the same backstory as Angel except without the mafia family so instead of a spider hes a cat. He is in hell because he would hook up with then kill them to keep his secrets and then he'd take drugs to deal with the guilt. I haven't decided whether he died from a drug overdose or AIDS. His name would still be Angel since I'm obsessed with a pet Andrew being angel. He was "taken in" and contracted by Drake early on and he quickly becomes his favourite.

Riko is still gonna be a radio demon, but I think he died because he was too brave with his killings (still a serial killer like Alastor) and his brother killed him to make sure he didn't get the whole family caught. I think I might have his demon form be more of a raven than a deer too. Was also playing with the idea of him being the exy demon too which could be fun. He's also chained by Lillith ;)

Kevin has much the same backstory as Husk and he died from alcohol poisoning or liver failure and he used to be an overlord and got into gambling which led to his deal with Riko

Jean is based on some HCs I've seen for Nifty so he died from a couple gunshots and he used to be a butler or slave or something similar and he snapped and killed the family he worked for so that's why hes in hell. I don't really have any ideas for why he made a deal with Riko but he did.

Seth died from a drug overdose. he wants to be an overlord but hes not really that powerful so he never really gets there. He works for the NDAs (My name for the Vee's in this Au) and tries to get info for them like in the show but when he gets caught whoever plays Charlie forgives him

Renee has much the same backstory as Vaggie. She used to be an angel but she felt bad about killing demons so after letting some go her eye was stabbed out by lute and she became a fallen angel. shes not dating anyone in this au but she is the first guess and helps run the hotel.

Neil was the media person in his family, growing in popularity as a hilarious and sociable media personality. he died young when he was electrocuted by faulty wiring during a broadcast, ending up in hell and quickly climbing the ranks after meeting Drake and later Allison. He doesn't have a TV as a head but he is mostly made out of wires and kind of looks like a hologram, often glitching out and disappearing when he gets angry or overwhelmed.

Drake was a pedophile and rapist when he was alive. He ran a sex club where he often hired and took advantage of underage people and he would post videos of them being taken advantage of on the dark web. he was killed by an angry victim. After ending up in hell he made his living and climbed the ranks by becoming a famous porn producer and pimp in order to continue taking advantage of people. this is what gets Neil's attention as he owns anything to do with film and media, leading them to work together. when he finds Andrew, new to hell and looking for a place to stay and money for drugs he very quickly scoops him up and he becomes his favourite and most loved star.

Allison was the heiress to a famously rich family similar to Canon. She was controlling, mean, and obsessed with her image. She died from anorexia and quickly became popular on Voxtagram with her beautiful pics and witty captions and hashtags, quickly gaining the attention of Neil and Drake and becoming the final part of the NDAs.

Nathan was a prolific cannibalistic serial killer (a la Hannibal Lector) and he died during a police shoot-out. He ends up as the overlord of cannibal town after gaining power there and making lots of deals for many souls, becoming one of Riko's best friends too as he often frequents the area as a former cannibal himself.

Nicky is in hell because of his sexuality as well as some of the things he did while alive. after escaping his parents his morals are not very well made and he often makes bad choices that get him in deep shit. he dies after some homophobes find out hes gay and beat him to death (similar to what likely would have happened at Edens if Andrew hadn't stepped in in canon). once he does arrive in hell he figures "what the hell" and kind of goes off the rails a bit with drugs, drinking, and property damage, quickly adopting Andrew under his wing, claiming he reminds him of his cousin a bit and they become very close.

I love animals crossing through, I left MY switch, I don't go on my mom's switch,,, I used to actually take her animal crossing card to play on my switch and so when she wanted it I had to get off of the animal crossing and give it back so she bought me animal crossing online so I wouldn't take her card (it was like 4 years ago I'm pretty sure yeah) and when I went to go stay at my cousins house for the weekend I left my switch there, accidentally, so I can't go get it because oop my aunt and uncle are having a rough time so ,,,,,, no getting in the middle of it(I am not allowed to drive the van... Heaving a heavy sigh the male Angel stared into the sky of twinkling stars. his eyes almost conveying that he wanted to find answers to question that he would not get. 

he knew he would not get. 

closing his ice piercing blue eyes he wondered. 

if there was a way out other than what he planned? or was he doomed to this fate? his thoughts were broken by a chipper voice sitting beside him on the beach as the waves went back an forth on the shore “so you were able to sneak away eh master?” 

the angels eyes opened again as his gaze turned to a tall male with wings like his but instead of white that were a dark grey color. his shoulder length hair blew in the wind as is grey eyes shimmered with admiration to the Angel he sat beside “yes Gabriel i was able to, but only for a short time” spoke the angel almost as if he was tired. 

“oh master! they mustn't work you so hard! you’ll become a workaholic!” Spoke Gabriel pouting. he hadn't seen his Master in what felt like ages and now he’d only get to spend a few moments with him? 

it just wasn't fair to the fallen angel who looked up to him so. 

The angel gave a tired but throaty chuckle “oh Gabriel i think its a bit late for that. you know this. also for the umpteenth time, you don't have to call me “Master” you dont “serve” me you “work” for me. Call me Seth. since that is my name” he looked to Gabriel and couldn't help but smile as his childish nature. 

it was a breath of fresh air. 

he only wished he could tell him. 

but he was forbade to do so. 

Gabriel heaved a sigh “well, and ive told you many times that you will always be “master” to me” he argued but gave a small smile anyway and enjoyed the pleasure of his company. 

Seth took in deep breaths as he let the peace of the night take him, this being his first break for a what felt like ages as well. as they both sat in silence listening to the waves.

Something something Seth proclaiming himself as the “Avatar of Woe“- which basically means that he is calling himself the demonic Embodiment of it. Now, the word “woe“ can mean two things: great troubles that cause distress OR feelings of misery, sadness, and sorrow.

Now, knowing Seth and his whole “Infernal Demonic Prince of Darkness” schtick, it’s easy to believe that he likely meant the “troubles” definition. After all, isn’t the whole POINT of a soul-stealing demon is to cause woes on humanity? It’s SO obvious… but then again, what if it wasn’t?

He is the self-proclaimed Avatar of Woe, and he takes sinful pride in the fact that he steals souls and causes difficulties, troubles for humanity. But being the Avatar of Woe means that he must repersent ALL parts of it; and that includes the misery and sorrowful aspect of Woe. And really, if he IS a fallen angel and the son of the First Man, isn’t Woe the entire reasn why he was born? After the very first murder that befell upon Abel, and the tragedy of the betrayal of Cain, Seth was born to mend the family’s broken heart. I wonder if that fact weighed heavily on him, as despite the misery and sorrow inflicted on his family that he needed to fix, he also wouldn’t have been BORN if it weren’t for that sorrow. For the Woes that affected his family, the Creator of Mankind commanded that he be born to alleviate that pain. If not for the death- or rather SACRIFICE- of his older brother, Seth would have never been created in the first place.

There’s also the matter of his OTHER self-proclaimed title: Demon of the Abyss. This could simply be a reference to the Hell that he lives in, or perhaps a specific circle. But then again… that would make MANY, if not the entire infernal populaton of Hell, a “Demon of the Abyss”. So why would such a powerful Infernal Prince use such a common title?

The word “Abyss”, of course, repersents the pitch-black pits of Hell. In the Bible (I’m not sure which passage but I think that it’s rom 2 Peter 2) it’s said that any angel who sins will be swiftly cast down to the Abyss (or, in Greek, Tartarus, which means the same thing) where they wil be “bound by chains of gloomy darkness” which can be interpreted to mean that they have become demons, unable to ever see the light of day (unless they accumulate enough power to break out or figure out another way) or the Gates of Heaven ever again.

According to the 3rd chapter of the Book of Enoch, it is reported that several angels who had committed the holy crime of lusting after humanity were punished by God who commanded that they be “bound hand and foot, nd cast them into the darkness. Make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast them therein. And place on them rough and jagged rocks, and cover them in darkness and let them remain there for ever, and covr their faces so that they may not see light.”

Some of the most prevalent mentions of the Abyss regards fallen angels. Take Paradise Lost by John Milton, for example; the fallen angel Lucifer is cast into Hell and, according to Wikipedia, “braves the dangers of the Abyss alone, in a matter reminisenct of Odysseus or Aeneas.” So this might be a stretch, but many of the time when Hell is referred to as an “Abyss” is when an angel is cast down from Heaven and falls into the pitch-black depths. Playing up on Seth’s hubris and his love for double-meaning wordplay, it’s not unreasonable to assume that he chose this title as slight nod to his status as a fallen angel.

In the Bible, Seth is known to be compassionate and virtuous; he was the ancestor of Noah and the forefather of Mankind, and had many wives and children. But was he ever happy, knowing that his family was wrecked far before he came? For all his knowledge, did he know that mankind would blame his mother- and later all women- for eating the Fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and bringing sin upon humanity? Was his heart ever empty, as no matter the amount of love he recieved from his family, it would never be enough to fill the gaping void that his older brothers- whom he had never met- left behind in a pool of blood?

If it weren’t for all the Woes that befell upon his family many years earlier, would he have ever been born?

Seth in the Bible had died at age 912, while BB Seth is stated to be 918 years old. Assuming that he stopped aging and/or stopped counting the passing years after he fell (and assuming, of course, that the “Hell’s Hottest Boy for 900 years running” was just a jest… which I HOPE so, since it would mean that his biological age is 18..) it would be likely that there was a 6-year-gap that he spent in Heaven before he fell, in which he would’ve had plenty enough time to sin and reel.

Moreover, Seth in the Bible was known to be an ideal son and a worthy heir to Adam’s linage. His bloodline,in contrast with Cain’s, was closer to God and thus survived the Great Flood while Cain’s bloodline did not. Despite this, however, he recieve very little recognition in contrast with his older brother rarely being mentioned or adknowledged at all. Even his descendant, Noah, recieved more fame than him. I wonder if this began to grate on him after a while? Perhaps that was his first sin: Envy.

And perhaps, long after he died and laid purposeless in Heaven, perhaps he spread his wings and looked upon humanity, thinking. Everyone he knew treated Eve’s consumption of the Apple of Knowledge as a huge, unforgivable sin, but when Seth looked at humanity all he could see was..

After all, what is happiness without sorrow? What is the greatest joy without the worst misery? He wouldn’t have existed without that misery, after all. And look at all the good he did for humankind! Look at all of the wonderful people that he raised! His heart swelled with Pride, which was quickly tempered by a thought:

“And no one even adknowledges it.”

No one paid him any mind at all, in Heaven. After all, his purpose was fulfilled and now he got to live in eternal Paradise forever! What more could he possibly want?

But Seth was bored. What was there to do now? He finally met his brother Abel, the Golden Child of his family and the favorite of his Grandfather… but he couldn’t even talk to him without Abel being swarmed by his own mother and father- not to mention all of the adoring angels who crooned after him in admiration. Seth felt the bitter taste of Envy in his throat as he looked at his shining brother. All he did was DIE, and yet people loved him so! Meanwhile, no one even bothered to spare a second glance at Seth. Abel seemed nice enough, but…

Seth was begininng to understand why Cain killed him.

And in the years that passed, he grew more resentful. Envious, because of the lack of adknowledgement or attention that no one bothered to give to him. Wrathful, for the way he was treated amd the burden that he had carried ever since he was a child. Prideful, as he looked at the Earth and witnessed all of his descendants, all of humanity, progressing despite the sins that plagued them. Would it be like this if they just stayed, eating fruit and wearing leaves in the Garden? Of course not? Sin pushed humanity to progress and provided an endless source of entertainment for him, the only kind he had in Heaven.

The Great Flood didn’t happen when he was still in Heaven.

He began sympathizing with the OTHER brother he had never met: Abel. He was beginning to understand him now. How the sins he committed were not his falt, how harsh the rules of the Lord can be. Seth wanted, more than ANYTHING, to talk to him, just once. For him to have a confidant, a way to satiate his everending boredom. He wanted answers, the full story from both of the brothers. Maybe finally understanding his purpose, why he was born, what he was made for.

He still wasn’t completely gone during this time. If someone noticed, maybe he could have still been saved.

But no one noticed Seth.

And so, on December 11th, he devised a plan to bring Cain to Heaven.

He enlisted the help of Abel, thinking that he was a key factor to carrying out this plan.

His heart pounded in excitement, and he couldn’t stop grinning.

He hadn’t felt this exhilerated in eternity.

What he didn’t know… was this.

As Abel’s was the first murder, and Cain the first betrayal, the summoning for this demon was…unique.

Different.

Unexpected.

Yet so obvious.

“A soul… for a soul.”

After the ritual, they were caught.

The Creator of Humanity quickly fixed everything, so there was no lasting damage at all.

But Abel was the beloved, so someone must be blamed.

Eve sobbed and hugged her child tighter, looking at Seth with teary eyes stung with betrayal.

Adam stood there, shocked but full of fury, glaring daggers at his thirdborn son.

“Why would you do this. To US? To your BROTHER?!”

Seth glared right back, tears streaming down his face as he yelled out at his father in sorrow.

“Like it or not, Cain is my brother too! I was born to fix a unfixable family, racked with betrayal and sorrow. No matter what I did, I’ve never even come close to suceeding! The least I could do is find out WHY!”

Cain and Abel were at a loss, not because of Seth’s words, but because of the fact that they were boh staing at each other. Cain a demon. Abel an angel. Brothers.

Even when he was yelling nd screaming out loud, no one heard him.

And neither did the Father of Humanity.

The sky shook in fury.

“ENOUGH!”

Everyone stared up a the sky in shock.

“SOMEONE MUST BE PUNISHED FOR THIS.”

All eyes turned to Seth for the very first time. And for a moment, he felt a sickining mix of euphoria and the sudden wish that he was invisible.

He was being adknowleged for the first time, and at what cost?

There was a sudden surge of excruitating pain from behind, and he watched in horror as his magnificent, pure white wings faded and began to motlt, scattering ink-black feathers everywhere. All of the spectating Angels hurriedly stepped back to avoid them.

His halo cracked and fell at his feet. Seth, dumbfounded, bent over to pick it up..

Only to cry out and double over in pain, as a terriying pair of red devil horns forced and ripped its way out of his head, and he watched in horror as blood started dripping out of his forehead. The surrounding Angels let out a horrifed gaspin unison, looking in fright as Seth’s previously warm brown eyes-filled with tears, started gradually turning red the more he cried. As if all of the life was being sucked out of him.

The feathers were still molting, revealing thin bones. He would no longer be able to fly.

He tried for words. Looking at his parents, he tried to beg, plead with his eyes for someone-anyone!-To help him.

But nobody came.

Even Cain looked horrifed.

“Mom…? Dad….?” Seth whispered weakly, fear seeping into his heart. Please. They were his parents, they loved him…

Didn’t they?

The Lord responded instead.

“YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME IN HEAVEN.”

And with that, (and with Abel), he fell.

And yes. If the scars were any indication…

It did hurt, when he fell from Heaven.

Neil is the frist of his kind and was supposed to be use for the demonds to win the war, but his mother fled to the human world.

Kevin is considered a Elite demon even while being only half. (Half beings stop getting older when they are fully grown like Demons and Angels but they are also easier to kill, and can be killed like any other human.)

((A bit of level five friend trivia for Seth in the fallen angel verse - it’s something he very rarely talks about with people, defaulting to wanting to spend more time with what human friends he was allowed to make on the rare occasion he and his direct supervisor / paternal figure ventured down to Earth as his Reason, but due to said demon’s own Fall leading to general if not total social ostracization his hand was essentially forced.

As it stands, he’s very careful / reluctant to admit to more than a surface level caring for anyone he forms social connections with in this verse out of fear that something similar to that abandonment will repeat. It’s still very evident through behavior who he does trust / care about, however actually giving voice to those thoughts takes quite a bit of work and a level of trust in the other person’s permanence in his life that needs effort to build up.

Emotionally paternal connection (outwardly directed specifically; about himself from someone else I don’t think would get nearly this level of emotional upset edit - he’s fine with being considered in the parental role, but the child one is upsetting) gets this far more strongly, though - he'll be quick to throw out a casual 'thanks pal' type of statement without worrying quite as much but anything remotely parental in either direction from the person he’s imprinted that onto sends him into a tailspin.

Basically, if he feels any sort of emotional tie to someone in this verse / AU specifically it’s going to be shown far more often than it is told. He doesn’t take long to emotionally bond to someone however, same as in his main verse.))

Me and Ray started to discuss that what if MC was the next Alice. He had mentioned that she would be necessary for fending off the Red Army. Internally, I was against the idea of using a precious lady as a tool for war, but I nodded to him instead.

"If she joins the Black Army, we could withstand the magical forces of the Red Army."

A bright light from beyond the hedges to where MC had run off to had caught our attention. That's where the Red Army Generals' meeting had taken place. I hope she didn't get hurt by that light.

"Call in Luka and Seth, she's surely held captive by the Red Army now."

We immediately rushed back to the Black Army Headquarters and I called in Luka and Seth. They got a little too excited to hear that Alice had finally arrived in Cradle. Fenrir had overheard the orders and immediately volunteered to be back up in case of an emergency.

"All you need to do is spy on the Red Army barracks and see what they plan to do with MC. Do not engage a fight them. We will then meet up at the Central Quarters by sunrise. Understood?" I bellowed. I was worried that she would get scared if a fight broke out so suddenly.

"Yes sir!" They rushed to their horses and took off. I started to call the soldiers of the army, Ray had wanted to meet them before dawn by the courtyard. Once everyone was ready, I turned to Ray and he stood in front of them.

"Soldiers!" He shouts and the army stood upright then saluted. "A few hours ago, Alice had arrived in Cradle named as MC. She is currently held captive by the Red Army and no one knows what they plan to do with her. She could either be used as a weapon against us, or our greatest defense. " I flinched subtly at his last sentence. "We are at the verge of war and MC can help us resolve our conflicting issues if she joins our side. For the protection of Cradle nd its people, we must protect and keep watch over her. Understood?"

"Yes sir!" The soldiers respond in unison.

"Freedom soars on Raven wings!" Ray shouts.

"Freedom soars on Raven wings!" The soldiers yell back. Ray scans the soldiers and I start to worry more, it was bad timing that MC had arrived at a time like this. Her safety is something that I need to prioritize, but being the Queen of Spades, it was difficult to do so.

A raven messenger had arrived with a piece of paper tied around its neck. Ray immediately opens and reads the letter. His eyes grew wide and turned to us again. "Go to the Central Quarters quickly! Luka, Seth, and Fenrir are under fire!"

I rush to the carriage and the carriage takes off immediately. I looked up at the sky that was starting to glow a crimson light. The first rays of sunlight after a long eventful night had reached through the leaves of the trees and grass. I watched the landscape transition from the Black Army Headquarters, to the dewy fields and quiet town of the Black Territory, to the cobblestone streets and buildings of the Central Quarters quickly. My worry for MC was starting to grow -- what if she decides to join the Red Army? That means I would never be able to see her. Worse, I might just watch her fall in love with someone else.

The carriage stops and I quickly stepped out, I stood next to Ray and faced West, where the Red Army Territory was located. Three horses was seen at the distance and they were charging in fast.

"They're safe!" A Black Army soldier cheered. I squint to try and see the extra figure in Luka's arms. MC was with them!

They halt when they neared us and got off their horses. Luka helps MC off and I stare in shock. She didn't take their side, she's here!

"Glad you're back in one piece. But why did you bring MC back with you?" These weren't the words I wanted to say.

"Nice to see you again so soon, MC." Ray grins at her. She lets out a breath and smiles widely at us, her eyes squinting and her cheeks tinted with a light dash of pink. Despite being up all night, she looked like she was glowing against the sun's rays.

"Ray! Sirius! You have no idea how relieved I am to be back here!" She remarks happily to us. I could already see the imaginary flowers blooming around her and the cute little sparkles. She was absolutely adorable.

"MC, you already know our king and queen? Talk about a small world, huh?" Fenrir chips in. She inhales a sharp breath as she turns to look at us, I guess we forgot to tell her our roles.

"You're really good at popping up at the worst possible time." Ray softly smiles at her. It was very true, in her previous lives, she would always burst in at the most unconventional time. During her life as a 17th century Victorian noblewoman, she would suddenly enter at Security Meetings held at the Grand Hall, without really intending to. She would often use me as an excuse, which was both annoying and life saving. Another event was during the gladiator match in Greece, she fell from the balcony by accident, making me push the man I was fighting with so far away from me that he travelled across the arena and I quickly ran to save her from her fall.

"That's not my intention, but--" MC tries to explain before Luka had cut her off.

"We can chat later, the enemy is approaching." We turn our gazes up and see the four generals were leading a perfectly synchronized battalion of soldiers clad in red and white.

I see MC, tensed that something big was gonna happen.

"What the heck is this about?" Ray frowns as he watches the Red Army march towards us.

"Well, you see, we had a little run-in, so to speak, with the Red Army at the gates to their barracks." Seth explains.

"Seriously? Do I need to send you all back to school for Recon 101?" I frown at him. It wasn't necessary to put MC in danger like this.

"There you go again with that salty face. I don't know why you're so upset!" He smiles as if a fight wasn't brewing. "If you really thought that nothing was going to happen, then why did you bring so many men?" He glows as he grins, eyes so deceiving that you'd never think he wants to fight for a war.

"The Reds have been waiting for 500 years for an excuse to strike, and they've finally found their reason." Ray frowns as the Red Army's march had stopped. We faced against our opposing side.

"I'm quite impressed, I wasn't expecting the Black Army to send its leaders out to welcome us." Edgar smiles, unbefitting to the situation at hand.

"You took that girl, who was under our care, and then had the audacity to attack. Explain yourselves." Jonah's icy amber eyes pierces through us, the way he says it makes it look like he was playing the victim card.

"You almost had me fooled into thinking you were a victim there for a minute. Twist the truth too much and your face might end up that way too." I couldn't hold back my tongue from talking as I smirked at him, his eyebrows furrowing further.

"Say that once more and you'll rue the day you were born!" He says through gritted teeth.

"How dare you insult our Queen!" A red soldier retorts, I almost laugh at their pointless aggressiveness. The Red Army's growls and hate starts to grow louder until a loud voice booms from behind.

"Silence!" Lance bellows as the soldiers part in half to give way to his entrance. He looked powerful as always. His head was held high, with a cold emotionless gaze that had seemed the only expression he ever had since he became the King of Hearts.

"Bow down to the King of Hearts, Lancelot! May glory run crimson through our veins!" A soldier yells.

"May glory run crimson through our veins." His eyes were fixated on MC as she stares back, her body slightly shaking from tension. He knows. "My proud men, there is no need to draw your swords." His eyes glowed red as he waved his hand. Our weapons were lifted to the air and had suddenly vanished. A dirty player as always.

"There goes our boss again, overdoing it with the magic." Kyle sighs as his shoulders slightly slump down, making it known that he was uninterested with the whole fiasco.

"It looks like we skipped over the "threaten the enemy" stage." Seth declares as if this was a casual process.

"You think that's all it takes to stop us? Come on! We've been waiting for this battle for 500 years!" Fenrir's eyes held excitement and manic, he clenched his fists tightly as he smiles widely.

"He's right. Leaders of the past may had put this battle off, but the time has come for us to fight." Zero declares. He was a good soldier, his courage and strength made him the perfect Ace for the Red Army.  He was always in a firm stance, always ready to fight.

"An excellent summation, Zero. Well done!" Edgar remarks out of nowhere, earning a pained look from him.

"If you're thinking of surrendering, now is the time. I hope you heard that Luka. " Jonah's face softens as he glances at his beloved younger brother, who in turn, looked away with a frown.

"Did somebody say something? Because all I heard was a gust of hot air." He rolls his eyes and Jonah sighs softly from across us.

I glance over at MC again and see her look back and forth the two sides worriedly, completely caught in the middle of a brewing war.

"Lance, call this off!" I call out to him, hoping that our friendship could reach through his heart and withdraw the fight.

"Don't speak as if we're friends, Queen of Spades." He looks at me with cold sharp eyes, his  expression never faltering, then his voice lowered a pitch. "I have a message for the Black Army -- from this day forth, you have been absored into the Red Army."

"I have a message for the Red Army -- quit spouting nonsense." Ray replies, the two Kings glare sharply at each other.

"In that case, I'll just have to dissolve every last one of you." His eyes glowed crimson again as his hands start to illuminate with magic. Before he could raise it towards us, MC quickly reaches her hands out, in between the two Kings.

"Please! Stop!" She cries as a barrier of light appears in front of her. Lance's spell dissolves into nothing as the light fades away. He looks at her again, his frown softening back to his usual empty expression.  "So Jonah's report was true." He looks at her from head to toe, "Alice the Second really has appeared." He walks towards MC and looks down at her, making his voice loud and clear for her to hear very clearly. "Just be warned, Alice -- I consider anybody who gets in my way an enemy." My blood boils at his threat, he didn't have to frighten her more, she's already confused and tired at everything being thrown at her all at once. You're not like this, what happened? Before I could open my mouth to speak, Ray had stepped forward.

"Stop making stuff up as you go!" He walks towards Lance and MC, shielding her away from the King of Hearts' gaze. "Her name is MC, not Alice."

A carriage violently pulled up before us, taking the attention of all the soldiers and Generals. "That'll do, gentlemen." Blanc steps out of the carriage, along with Oliver. He walks towards the two Kings, who then parted from each other.  He smiles softly at MC, calming her worries little by little.

"I don't know what you're thinking, pulling a stunt like this so early in the morning. Don't you know people live here?" Oliver frowns at MC, who looked more confused than ever.

"The Central Quarter is a neutral zone. Any and all forms of combat are strictly prohibited here." He yells loud enough for everyone to hear. "The entire country of Cradle will be at great risk if you destroy its economic and political center."

You always knew how to break up a fight at the right time, thank you, Blanc.

After a long moment of silence, Lance finally speaks, anger and annoyance evident in his voice. "Let it be known, this is the only time I will humor the request of a record keeper. Troops, fall back!" MC sighs as Lance takes his leave, along with his entourage of soldiers.

"I can't leave you without something to fret over, Alice." Jonah walks up to her and Luka grips his greatsword tightly. I raise my hand to stop him from doing anything stupid, although I myself want to break that pretty boy's face for trying to threaten her like that. "I'll have you under my command soon enough. You'll learn to enjoy serving me." He leans a little to close for comfort and I hear Luka scowl at his brother under his breath. "I hope you'll look forward to it as much as I am." He turns and Lance faces MC once again.

"Alice -- I doubt that it will be long until I see you again, but until then, enjoy what little time you have left with your life." For a sheer second, his eyes grew sad, something was up. His cape flies around him as he turns, leading his troops to retreat back to the West. I gather up the courage to finally talk to her again, hoping to try and deviate the threats from scaring her too much.

"So you really are from the Land of Reason, MC?" I try my best to make small talk. She nods at me and meets my eyes again.

"Yes, I am. It wasn't my intention to come here, but now I'm stuck here until the next full moon." She explains. She looks away from me and bit her lip, thinking hard of what could happen next.

"Don't worry." I place my hand on her shoulder and she looks back up at me, hoping that this gesture could ease her nerves. "We'll make sure you find your way home." London was the safest place for her, she would never be happy here, being caught up in the middle of a war. I rethink my choices and plan what to do to keep her safe and under my care, but I know that it would never be possible.

Things need to change, and sending her home in 30 days is all I need to do to keep her safe. I'm fighting against fate now.
